#katekyo hitman reborn#r27#sawada tsunayoshi#reborn#my friend and i discussed about which pokemon would be in their team. eevee and umbreon was ther for their similar looks to r27 lol#flygon is a good candidate bc yk. leon. and for tsuna suprisingly we liked the idea of meloetta (bc meloetta has two forms like how tsuna-#-has his normal vibe and his dying will mode)#for reborn we thought of him having a liking for bug types bc of his bug communication skills. like his seasonal bug thing#we also thought of lore for a whole game which was heavily based on pokemon mystery dungeon bc we wanted death (future arc spoilers oof)#but general beginning plot is: tsuna dislikes having pokemon battles so all his pokemons are non-combat#- somehow he meets reborn (? idk maybe bro trips and got silly and he now owes reborn something). and reborn then seeing how close-minded-#tsuna is he decided to accept tsuna as his apprentice so he finally gets it#we discussed about tsuna also seeing reborn often at a lot of places but never got in contact (bc we thought of him living on a mountain idk#like how everyone cant see through reborn’s disguises but he can. so he’ll just see him around (bc reborn is hiding himself from the public)#as a champion. yeah#yeah thats about it i think. ive forgotten most of our ideas dkdgkgfhfhfj maybe another time

You ever heard of My Friendly Neighborhood? Its another puppet horror game but its very cute and surprisingly wholesome!
i've watched a playthrough! it was cool! a very neat concept overall and well executed. very charming, very thorough, Highly enjoyable!
#however i couldnt really get quiiiite as emotionally attached as i wanted to#like i got somewhat of an attachment to - forgive me ive forgotten their names#the sock puppet (ricky?) / the bird / the janitor / the pianist#i couldnt feel much for the others though and that was my Singular disappointment#i went into it thinking they'd all have their own lil arcs and Moments with the MC and stuff#but most of them were like... props. funny props with a bit of characterization but still#which was kinda sad. i was hoping to get Invested in all of them#but overall! no complaints! i loved it!#rambles from the bog#the bird was my favorite <3 big big bird <3#ive been meaning to draw her & poppy & big bird himself together#GOD but the concepts in that game. the level design. the everything. oof what a good game#good good time...

#i think that this episode impacted me a lot more the second time around though i cried both times#i had forgotten some details and now that i rewatched i feel like i have a better idea of who naga is than before#i first watched kyuranger in 2022 and i feel that since then the way i analyze media and characters has changed significantly#that being said i think that sentai talks about anger and rage in an interesting way and i think it's important to know that while it's#normal and understandable to get angry there's a limit and controlling that anger is something that you have to choose to do#naga is able to reign in his anger through reflection and the support of his friends but ultimately he's the one who chooses them#over the overwhelming hatred and anger bc even if it feels good to get it out it's not what he wants and it's negatively affecting both him#and his friends one could compare this to genba's arc in boonboomger and maybe i will but i feel as though the situations are#different in a number of ways such as the emotions being brand new to naga but not to genba or naga attacking with intent while genba does#it wildly and can be completely blinded by his rage there's much to consider with this comparison...#kyuranger rewatch lb#super sentai lb#umbrella.thoughts#umbrella.posts

Okay, apparently I'm in an Edolas mood tonight.
If I could add one thing, just one thing to the Edolas arc, I would absolutely have more Mystogan and Wendy interactions.
Like, I'm sorry, but you mean to tell me that after finally reuniting with her Jellal, the one she was so shaken up over during Nirvana, their only interaction basically amounts to him saying "Hey Wendy, sorry I ghosted you for seven years, but literally everybody is about to die and I can't stop it, so you should probably skip town."

#had to re-edit the image real quick because the original edit was from a post I made about Drew years ago#and while the Drew thing is becoming less and less likely.
