Little Update on my "Hiatus"

Still active and lurking most times but I decided I needed to step back from social media again (especially tumblr). There are a lot of things/people on this platform that are, honestly, unsettling to me and i can now see how badly some of that affected me since i started my blog last autumn. Many of the things I struggle with are connected to movements or politics I don't subscribe to and as an empathic person it hurts me to see people who spend their lives spreading hate because they themselves have been let down too many times. I've been there and I understand which is exactly the problem. I've started prioritizing other parts of my life to get back on track which worked out fine, however, I need to work on myself for a while before I reconsider creating more art to share with everyone to get back into this community. Currently spending a lot of time reading Tolkiens works because they are a place of comfort for me, highly recommend doing the same. His lessons of comradery, love, and friendship are worth more than I am able to describe using words. Obviously I still care about everyone and keep being amazed by the things you create! Keep up the good work!

After weeks of not drawing i decided to finish this one.. ( ╥ω╥ ) Am I happy with the result? Nope! (May the gods forgive my lack in knowledge about anatomy) Was I sick of thinking about it being unfinished? Yes!! I gave up with shading and the cake is ugly but it's whatever~
