I saw the headcanon that Luminara’s master was Master Katri who was mentioned in Tales of the Jedi and was like omg!! Cute master for lumi!! Before realising that Katri died when Luminara was maximum about 13/14 years old, so my new hc is that poor Luminara was orphaned very early on in her apprenticeship and having to deal with attachment and loss so intensely and so young is why she is so “detached” later on with the very real possibility of losing her own apprentice. It’s not that she doesn’t care, she does - too much - but she’s a Jedi Master now and feels that showing that is wrong.

Hey Asra what if your apprentice was even more fucked up than previously thought?

it's just a thought I've had for a while,, but like in the reverse ending, Liam becomes the new Death Arcana, and I thought to myself ; there is NO WAY a simple normal magician's apprentice could do that ; what if Liam (in this reverse ending timeline) was actually sort of chosen by good ol' Death to become their successor because Valdemar is a little too wacky (and because affinity with necromancy)? And so he didn't exactly die of the Plague, only was... reborn? because Death absolutely needs him like what if he was kind of immortal so he was protected and Death could finally make him the new one? Liam would still not remember re-assembling his carcass (or the ritual, or anything like that) and Asra would bring him back to the shop still,, but without giving him the fool's body and resurrecting him.

And so at the Lazaret Asra doesn't find Liam's remains he finds a sort of corpse-Liam re-assembling itself lich style because I do what I want

ramblings ramblings aaaah... But like that would be the reverse ending ; the upright would follow the normal storyline.

you know how Selasi says the Apprentice and Asra are both very mysterious. well- characters say the Apprentice is mysterious pretty often which is why one of Danny's traits is "wants to uphold his mysterious reputation" but also with Selasi it's kind of unintentional because Selasi is such a gossip and tries to fish for info on his personal life that Danny just straight up does not remember
