With the success of the Mario Movie. And with the amazing sales of Tears of the Kingdom. I imagine if Nintendo was going to make another movie it will likely be Legend of Zelda.
But the question is, WHICH Legend of Zelda Game to base the movie on?
So here is my pitch
(Nintendo if you are listening, then reach out cause I will write this movie with you)
It’s a universe outside the games,
Hyrule has been at peace for so long that the fights with Ganon are nothing but tales.
Zelda, the young princess is learning everything she needs to know to be a ruler, but finds herself more interested in the Past legends, (basically make her a history nerd) Impa, her Confidant would likely tell her to stop focusing on such nonsense.
But wouldn’t you want to know what happened to the Triforce? And what about the hero that always come when evil arises! I bet he is something”
Cut to Link who is napping on the grass, when his Uncle tells him to quit napping and get back to work.
Link being a blacksmith apprentice dreaming of being a knight. He’s almost of age.
“I know you be dreaming about being a knight, but cut that nonsense out of your head, we make swords not use them. Your father tried and he ended up Moblin chow.”
The gimmick is that people keep talking before Link can speak. Or something makes it so he can’t talk or be heard. Except when he makes his “Hyah!”
They had to bring weapons inside the castle for the knights to use.
There’s a squire that was a bully to Link, and tells him he’s far too scrawny to be a knight. But link ignores him.
Cut to Ganondorf being an incredibly villainous Warlocke who was exiled by the Gerudo for being a male. (A twist that it’s a bad omen for male Gerudo to be born) He summons his monsters to attack hyrule in search of the triforce.
The kingdom is attacked and Monsters try to take Zelda while she’s in the palace. But Link, being the ever courageous soul. Stepped in, grabbing a sword and fighting the monsters.
Zelda sees this mysterious blond and remembers the tales and is CONVINCED he’s the hero.
Link managed to pull Zelda out of the castle and escape. Link not even realizing she’s the princess until after escaping (as he simply saw Girl in trouble)
Zelda and Link have to go find the triforce before Ganon and locate the sword that seals the darkness.
Zelda being the wise encyclopedia that tells Link about whats what, and Link being the one that handles the action.
I imagine Ganondorf is voice by Keith David or Khary Payton (the later being king penguin and he deserves a bigger role) really play up the threatening and powerful Ganon

The Salt Keep: Main Cast
Meet the characters you'll (probably) spend the most time with while playing The Salt Keep. Exploration is central to the game, so there's no guarantee you'll even discover all of these characters, and if you do, it'll vary how much you get to know them. It all depends upon the choices you make and who you prioritize.
Doyle Scoggins
31-year-old salesman, straight-laced and downtrodden.
Doyle had been a salesman all his life. He'd spent the better part of a decade pushing ale across Sudmere for Fultan & Sons, then selling farming implements for Osmond Plow & Mule, but ceramics were new to him. They filled the back of his cart, some broken, most unsold, as he traveled from village to village. Nobody seemed to be interested, and his purse grew lighter every day, but he kept moving. There wasn’t much waiting for him back home with Nela gone...
MORE
Wilda Putnam
22-year-old stablehand, hard-nosed and loyal.
When Wilda was born, Henketh was a good place to be. She’d spent most of her childhood working there alongside her mother, the only wise woman and herbalist in the village, but once Alsporth Timber & Coal arrived, things began to change. Her father died not long after, and the company brought their own surgeons and clerics as new laborers arrived. There wasn’t much need for an old herbalist after that, and Wilda watched her mother wither, more and more bitter every year, as Sir Carden's gold slowly grew the village...
MORE
Edwin "Ed" Clifford
26-year-old apprentice herbalist, nervous and ambitious.
Ed was going to be an apothecary. He’d already spent six years as an apprentice under Father Payton, and while it was longer than he’d expected, he wasn’t particularly surprised. As the son of a Malorin washerwoman in Fingate, he’d made it further than he’d imagined he ever would. He spent most of his days in the temple outside the Salt Keep, organizing the shelves and collecting herbs, keeping careful notes as he learned to mix tinctures and remedies...
MORE
Aldus Hadden
48-year-old high-tier salesman, long-winded and practical.
Hadden had been working for Atwater Ceramics for decades. The job had taken him all over Eadmore: Sudmere and Alsporth, mostly, but he’d spent time out west, and even across the border into Igban. He’d started out like anybody, pushing Journeyman Packages as much as he could, memorizing the wares and rehearsing pitches, but after years of work, he eventually found himself on the other side, teaching rather than learning. That was his thought process the day he met Doyle, the two of them sharing a drink at the inn in Cotlin Hill:
“This kid has a lot of learning to do...”
MORE
Brinton Cooper
20-year-old guard of the Salt Keep, timid and earnest.
Cooper had grown accustomed to loss. At eight years old, his father disappeared – he worked for Endless Sea Shipping, sailed out one afternoon and never returned – and at 16, he watched his mother wither and sweat in bed for months until one morning she didn’t wake up. He’d spent his entire life in Cardwyke, never straying more than a half-day’s walk from the village, but still it eventually became a place he didn’t recognize. Sometimes he thought of it almost as a punishment, though he didn’t think he’d done anything in particular to deserve it. Sometimes he wasn’t sure it mattered either way...
MORE
Luella "Lu" Hollis
58-year-old independent merchant, cagey and self-reliant.
Most of Lu’s life, she’d been alone. That’s not to say she was ever lonely – she had a husband once, she liked to tell people, and a few other men throughout her thirties, plus a woman she still saw now and then in Port Warren – but she’d always been unattached. It wasn’t a choice when she was a child, moving from one orphanage to another throughout Ulder Valley, but by the time she had grown, it felt natural. That tendency followed her even into work, though she never thought of anything she did as “work.” Work was something one did for somebody else, Lu thought. All she ever did was sell when the opportunity presented itself...

Is the Empire Finally Dead……or Rising?
The date was January 4th, 2020. The evil New England Empire had held a firm grip on the Republic of the NFL for the better part of two decades, but a wild group of rebels believed the Empire to be in a rare position of vulnerability and sought to capitalize on this once in a lifetime opportunity. Based out of the AFC South Sector, this little known (and hardly covered) militia group went by many names. Some still referred to them as the Houston Oilers, to some they were the Tennessee Oilers, but on this day, everyone knew them as Titans.
Led by Vrabel Skywalker, who in many ways, was a son of the Empire, these Titans were fearless and had a plan to thwart Darth Brady and Emperor Belichick (and it didn’t even involve spying on their military drills at the Gillette Battle Station). Rumblings had been growing about divide amongst New England ranks, with some even suggesting Darth Brady wanted to venture off and conquer new Galaxies on his own.
As the battle commenced, it was clear this was not the same old Empire. Behind an unstoppable barrage of running attacks, the Titans wore down the New England Defense systems and stymied the Patriots’ offensive game plan, even in the face of Brady’s ancient screen-game sorcery. Things looked bleak at times as C-3PTannehill kept trying to turn the fucking ball over, but between the continued battering of Henry turrets, and Vrabel Skywalker’s masterful employ of the one of the emperor’s favorite battle tactics, the Titans gave themselves a chance. As the battle came down to the wire, Darth Brady made a fatal error, turning the ball over in his own territory, resulting in the destruction of the Gillette Star along with the regime that had terrorized the league for far too long. So where are they nearly four years later?
Current State
The Empire is a shell of what it once was in its glory days. Emperor Belichick tried to raise a new apprentice in Kylo Mac, but frankly, he’s more of a whiny little bitch than a franchise Sith Lord. The Emperor himself has faced increasing scrutiny in the face of only one battle victory on the year, a loss at the hands of his hapless old apprentice, and the two worst defeats of his career suffered back to back. Their Offensive attack ranks only ahead of the New York Jar Jar Binks and their Defense systems have been compromised with injuries to key pieces such as Matthew Judon and Christian Gonzalez.
What’s on the Horizon
As bad as things are…..they aren’t looking up either. The Bills’ Mafia Armada is quickly approaching and not far behind is the Miami Dolphins’ fully armed and averaging nearly 500 yards/game Battle Station. There’s also a looming visit from Master Mahomesda following his recent alliance with the Swifties squadron. The New England Empire is tied for last in the AFC Galaxy along with Greedo Wilson and the infamous Bounty Hunter Payton Fett. Playoff hopes are as dead as the Disney Sequels and the Empire has never been less of a threat.
So What’s Left to Fear?
The Empire is currently in a 5-team race for the generationally talented young Padawan Caleb Williams. If the Empire were successful in acquiring and corrupting this budding young prodigy, their reign of terror could resume almost immediately and go on for the foreseeable future. While the AFC Galaxy and specifically the Eastern Quadrant of the AFC, are far more formidable than they were during the Empire’s heinous run, giving the evil Emperor a Padawan with such latent potential could pose a threat to every Team’s hopes of hoisting Lombardi’s.
Our Only Hope
While the New England Empire will be outmatched and likely overwhelmed in most of its upcoming battles, there are Teams who could slow them down in their pursuit of Caleb Williams. Lord Riverboat Ron and Count Brandon Staley are on the verge of their careers being cryogenically frozen themselves, while Master Brian Daboll appears primed to rebuild his fleet in his own pursuit of Williams.
Daboll has to let go of his hate and abandon his desire for vengeance on the Empire for what it did to his people in Buffalo for all those years, Ron needs to concede the battle to win the war, and Staley………just needs to keep doing what he’s doing.
Keeping the young prodigy Williams away from the Emperor won’t be easy and will require sacrifices across the board. But God Dammit we saw how terrible things got when Disney gave the Empire a sequel.

Love Like Yours- Day 5
Love Like Yours- Day 5
Prompt number 5 for the @lovelikeyoursfest ! :^)
Title: Sunny Side Up Fandom: The Arcana Characters x Pairings: Julian Devorak x OC Word Count: 325 Rating: T Warnings/notes: soft & sweet like cotton candy Summary: Payton gets distracted from making breakfast by her favorite tall & lanky distraction
“Good morning, darling.” Julian yawned as he stumbled into the kitchen.
“Hey, good morning.” Payton’s heart swelled at the sight of her sleepy husband. “The coffee’s all done, and breakfast should be done in a minute.” She punctuated the statement by flipping the eggs she was cooking.
“Ah,” Julian sighed, walking over to her. “What did I do to deserve this?” He leaned down to wrap his arms around her waist and rested his chin on her head.
“Uh, you’re alive and you need to eat food to stay that way. Duh.” Payton wasn’t taking the bait. Not yet, anyway. But she leaned into his touch and put her spatula-free hand over his.
“Mm. What did I do to deserve you?” Julian nuzzled into her hair. Payton’s facade cracked and her heart melted-- she felt the heat rise to her face and was grateful he couldn’t see it.
“Oh, well, I, uh, I’m just me. But you, you’re amazing. And you deserve the world.” She squeezed his arm. “And, ah, maybe not-burnt eggs.” She flipped the eggs again to make sure they weren’t, in fact, burning.
“Well, just you is better than anything I could have ever dreamed of.” He gently began pulling her back, away from the stove, and started to turn her around in his arms. She quickly tossed the spatula down and turned the burner off before fully turning to embrace him.
The eggs could go to hell for all she cared-- she lived for moments like this. “I love you.” she managed before their lips met.
“I love you too.” Julian pulled back so he could look at her. “How about we spend the day at the beach?” He tucked a strand of hair behind her ear.
“Really?” She lit up. “You want to?”
“Of course! I can’t think of a more perfect day.” He gave her another quick kiss, but pulled away grinning wildly. “Shouldn’t we eat breakfast first though?”

“I just...don’t understand?”
Pirouette paced, clutching at his hair and pulling it out of it’s neat bun, reducing it to a messy ponytail.
“It’s okay, baby.”
Crux motioned with a hand from where they were sprawled out across Pirouette’s bed, but they shot up when Pirouette pulled his hair free, looking worriedly at him as he marched out onto the balcony.
“Peri, Peri, Peri...” Crux soothed, smoothing the stressed out boy’s hair. “I’m sure the consul didn’t mean anything by it.”
Pirouette focused his blue eyes on Crux, biting his lip hard. “He’s just...really weird, Crux. I caught him arguing with the pontifex, about me! Crux! about me! about how I “shouldn’t be working under” them. I don’t know what I did to make him hate me! I don’t understand why he’s trying to get me fired-”
Pirouette was cut off when Crux pushed themselves up against Pirouette, leaning forward into his back, and using a gloved hand to tilt his chin back towards them, soothing Pirouette’s stress bitten lips with a gentle trace of their tongue.
Pirouette gasped, a flush clear on his face, but the more Crux teased at his mouth with their tongue, the more relaxed Pirouette became, and he eventually leaned back into them, returning the affection with a gentle kiss, before letting Crux tilt his chin to angle his head so they could deepen the kiss.

Giann doesn't have a sprite and I have thoughts about that (+ theorizing about plot)
WC: 1.1K (I had a lot to say, haha)
Many of the key characters in ToT get sprites, particularly ones who are important to the main cast. Celestine, Vincent, Aaron, Kiki, etc. are all examples of this. Characters who are important to the plot also get sprites: the Baldr trio, the Lost Gold NPCs, Estelle, etc. (Zangr is an interesting exception, but maybe that's for another post.)
Giann von Hagen stands out, however, because he is arguably both important to the main cast (mainly Marius) and is likely to have some importance to the main plot. And yet -- he doesn't have a sprite to represent him.
And at this point, Giann not having a sprite is mildly concerning in the sense that he may not be needed in the future (and by sprite here I mean a full color image, not the blank/silhouetted figure that I think is currently being used for him).
Because I'm wondering: why do Payton (butler) and Austin (dad) both have sprites, but Giann doesn't? The CN server is ahead by approx. a year but still there is no Giann.
Mom von Hagen -- the exception -- is allowed to be faceless, in fact us not being able to see her makes sense in a meta way because it emphasizes the divide between Marius and his mother, not just in a life/death sense but in a "we never really got to know each other because there was no time" way as well.
In this sense, Giann not having a sprite also emphasizes to us that he's not here at this point. Where is he? We don't know. But even when he appears in Marius' flashbacks, he doesn't have a sprite of his own.
It's possible that Giann is still in the character design phase and that we'll get a sprite for him in the future, when he's much more needed for the storyline. In that case, my theory probably doesn't stand.
But here is a question I have: why is it that between him and Neil, it's Neil who gets a sprite? Both of these characters -- who have gone missing -- only show up in flashbacks. Both of these characters are important to their apprentice and sibling respectively. Does Giann's lack of a sprite imply that, perhaps, he isn't coming back (i.e. no need to create a set of sprites for him because we're not going to see him)?
While I certainly hope mhy isn't going to pull the "out of these two missing characters, only one gets to return alive" (and in this case I theorize that it's Neil who comes home alive because he already has a sprite), it would be devastating. Because not only would we get Marius having to deal with the loss of his brother, we're also going to get him dealing with the "Artem got his loved one back and I didn't; why?" conflict.
Marius and Artem are already vaguely at odds with each other because they don't trust the other guy's missing loved one. Marius doesn't trust Neil, Artem doesn't trust Giann. To have Artem get Neil back at the cost of Giann's life would allow for an interesting character moment as to how Artem and Marius see each other.
And the other thing about Giann is that he's not just connected to Marius, but to Vyn as well. Killing Giann off means that both Marius and Vyn have to deal. Killing Neil off only affects Artem (between the current five NXX members). While ToT doesn't really focus on what each boy thinks of each other, Giann's death has the potential to bring Vyn and Marius closer together (unless they both choose to grieve separately and not talk about it because I could see that happening, too).
As of now, Neil and Giann are both in a Schrödinger's cat type situation: they're essentially both alive and dead until canon proves otherwise. The best case scenario would be for both Neil and Giann to be alive. But from previous cards/events, we also know that the writers aren't afraid to go down the route of tragedy (Symphony of the Night and Skadi instantly come to mind). Killing both Neil and Giann would come with its own angst for Artem, Vyn, and Marius (Luke can sort of look on sympathetically, although he has problems of his own). But killing one of them off, specifically Giann, also has the potential to create an NXX schism (that is, if they are left unchecked and MC is unable to bring them together).
But the other theme that seems to keep coming back is memory.
This can be seen most clearly through Luke, who might as well be a symbol of the past. He's the childhood friend; his history with MC is mostly in the past. And more than anything, he wants to remember. He has keepsakes in his room, the locked/memory box, a camera he uses to save moments to remember. He's missed out on so much of MC's life and memories that he wants to make it up to her in the present. His personal story ch. 2, SSR 'Perfect Partner', SR 'Radiant Sunlight', and perhaps SR 'How I Remember You' also touch on themes of memory and the past.
These themes are also vaguely touched on by the other boys: Marius (doesn't remember Mom but can still honor her memory), Artem (recalling who he used to be vs who he is now; his memory of Neil and his guidance), and Vyn (the past he is determined to leave behind: kingdom, family, and various lore/backstory things).
The idea of memory also returns in the actual gameplay: the concept of visions, for one, as well as the prologue hinting at something happening in the past that MC needs to figure out.
But the theme of memory is also carried forward through the story and events. @actualbird has an excellent post on how ToT seems to handle justice and memory.
And so this leads me to argue: instead of death, are we going to get memory loss from Neil and/or Giann?
Having dead brother is one thing.
Having a brother who doesn't even remember who you are is another.
Because where do you go when your mentor, your brother, your friend who has been missing for ages -- cannot tell you what happened? There is no memory, no "here's what happened, we have to do something about it." How do you find the truth when it seems to elude your every step?
And if we are indeed going with the memory loss route, suddenly Giann's blank sprite makes more sense. If he doesn't remember Marius, doesn't remember who he is or his past or anything like that, who is he but a blank slate -- someone who you thought you'd recognize but now don't?
I know I got a little rambly as I wrote this (and it all sprang from Giann's lack of official art, haha) but ToT has laid the groundwork for a lot of plot potential and it'll be interesting to see where the NXX Investigation Team is taken next.
#giann von hagen#tears of themis#just some theorizing#listen even if this theory is proven false I can still tweak the plot and then copy and paste its skeleton somewhere else#I am thinking about the ~potential~

Fun facts about the cast of Jekyll & Edgeworth:
-Payton Lanyon = looks like a cinnamon roll and actually is a cinnamon roll. He’s the oldest of his friend group, but he is by far the most affectionate. It’s the GODDAMN 20th century, goddammit, it’s time for men to openly love their friends already HUG YOUR GODDAMN FRIENDS IF YOU LOVE THEM ALREADY. Don’t test him he WILL hug you right now, he’s coming over to show you love, affection, and support RIGHT NOW.
-On a scale from 1 to incredibly gay, most of the men in this cast are in fact incredibly gay.
-Payton’s mother Gabriella is Spanish and she is still alive and is a very lovely lively lady. She taught her son to respect people and to openly and honestly display his affection for others. She’ll hug you too. Wilbur used to love visiting their house because she’s so nice.
-Claiborne Utterson is the only member of the group whose family carries over from the original J&H whose parents are both alive. He doesn’t think about it much, that’s just how things are.
-Payton is usually the last to know what’s going on but the first to offer his help with it.
-Wilbur is actually the youngest of the entire cast, but he’s the first to get his own car. As such it’s actually the most distinctive. Payton has no car. He walks everywhere or catches a ride with someone else.
-Wilbur is the shortest of the entire cast, including Sheldon. He’s like 5′2″, as compared to the tallest cast member, Payton, who is like 6′4″.
-Vincent Edgeworth is secretly only 5′ 9″. He enjoys wearing tall boots to add some height to supplement that height, but seems to wear clothes that are too small for some reason? Hmm?
- In order of heights: Wilbur, Sheldon, Vincent, Claiborne, Bradley, Ransom, Payton
-Claiborne apprentices for his father as a lawyer, and fully intends on taking over the law practice. He regularly asks his father for advice and values his father’s wisdom greatly.
-Gabriel Utterson is Wilbur’s godfather, and has been the closest to a father figure Wilbur’s had growing up. To the point that it’s a huge shock to Claiborne when his father’s first advice regarding the Edgeworth mystery is to basically stalk Wilbur. “He’s like my BROTHER, he’s your GODSON, why would this be your first bit of advice on the situation?”
-Vincent Edgeworth’s initial description is that he “talks like a gentleman and dresses like a prostitute”. Personally, he finds the description amusing and rolls with it.

Full Name: Edwin “Ed” Clifford
Age: 26
Occupation: Apprentice Herbalist
Appearance: Ed never felt quite at home in his body. He was tall – too tall, he thought, at 6’2 – and it sometimes seemed as if the world was built for people a few inches shorter than he was. His eyes were set far apart, and he kept his head shaved nearly bald, just a hint of black stubble showing on light brown skin. Sometimes Father Payton joked that he had a permanent expression of disappointment on his face, but Ed didn’t know why. If that was what he looked like, it had to be the will of Yabiz. He'd accepted that.
Bio: Ed was going to be an apothecary. He’d already spent six years as an apprentice under Father Payton, and while it was longer than he’d expected, he wasn’t particularly surprised. As the son of a Malorin washerwoman in Fingate, he’d made it further than he’d imagined he ever would. He spent most of his days in the temple outside the Salt Keep, organizing the shelves and collecting herbs, keeping careful notes as he learned to mix tinctures and remedies.
Father Payton would take care of him, Ed thought. The man always had, as long as Ed had been in Cardwyke, and as the two of them heard the emergency bell ringing in the East Tower, Ed knew he still would. Even once they saw the blood in the courtyard, and the bodies, even once Ed rushed down into the dark with nothing but a dagger in hand and scrambled for a place to hide, he knew it. Father Payton would help him, because he was a cleric, and that was what a cleric did. Always, no matter what.

Safety & Education Committee
For years the world of telecommunications has mostly existed with a clear separation between its equipment and that of the power utilities. The new world of 5G will bring more connectivity and abilities to move information at faster speeds than ever before. We are all in favor of this progress however we must remember it brings a new set of challenges that companies have not had to deal with.
Communications space, often referred to as the Comm Zone, is the lowest space on the utility pole and is located directly beneath the supply and neutral space. Attachments in this space include cable, broadband, fiber, telephone, traffic-signal control wiring, and more.
Electrical supply zone is located in the uppermost area of a pole, where electrical equipment (including electric distribution cables, transformers, and capacitors) is found. Supply space wiring may include different voltages, and often consists of non-insulated conductors. For safety reasons, the highest voltages are in the highest position on the pole.
Neutral space (or the safety zone) is unused space located directly below the supply space. It exists primarily for safety. Measuring a minimum of 40-inches high, the neutral space is specified by the NESC (National Electric Safety Code) to protect communications workers from dangerous voltages and to separate communications conductors from electric supply conductors.
As each company moves toward the future of technology and innovations in the industry, we must all prepare our people for the journey ahead. By ensuring our people are trained in every facet of work they perform we can reduce the risks that are presented and prevent incidents. When it comes to working with or around electricity, we must ensure our people are qualified. In the 2017 NEC Article 100 Definitions, “Qualified Person” is defined as follows: “One who has the skills and knowledge related to the construction and operation of the electrical equipment and installations and has received safety training to recognize and avoid hazards involved.” There are three key points in this definition: skills, knowledge, and safety training.
Each company must decide to what level their people need to be trained to achieve “qualified” status by assessing the risk and following regulatory guidelines. Licensing qualifications, requirements and testing criteria usually require the individual to prove work experience, competency, and training. Experience and knowledge can be in the form of apprentice programs, trade schools and hours of field work (OJT-on the job training). Always check with local or state jurisdictions on what the appropriate qualifications or credentials are required before starting work.
As we enter this 5G world the race is on that keeps us innovating and moving into areas we have never been before. We must make sure we are not moving so fast that we don’t identify the new hazards that face us. When OSHA was formed in 1970 approximately 37 people a day (that we know of) were dying to build the American dream. Today approximately 14 people a day are still dying to build the American Dream and it is far too high of a price. Let’s be prepared for the challenges and take a proactive approach to business so it doesn’t continue to cost us so dearly for progress. We must all strive to provide a safe workplace for our people and the training required to protect themselves.
David Payton is a member of the NATE Safety & Education Committee and Regional (east) EHS director for Ericsson, Inc. in Tampa, Florida. He can be reached at 317-319- 0561 or david.payton@ ericsson.com.

‘Bridgford House was Robin Boyd’s most expensive commission to date when undertaken in 1954, at the behest of wealthy boatie Charles (and wife Phyllis) Bridgford. Sitting on a corner allotment, this is only its second time on the market and we can note the current owners have undertaken a beautifully skillful revival with a contemporary architect – oh so light and delicate, in keeping with the truest sensibilities of Boyd’s early domestic catalogue.’

The Unforgettable Gruzman House In Darling Point
‘One of the truly singular homes of our Australian Modern architecture heritage; the sprawling, terraced-in-rock home that legendary architect Neville Gruzman designed for himself and family in 1958 (and extended in 1963 and the early 90s).
Gruzman House is an example visited by architecture students, fawned over by fans and described by Jørn Utzon as having “The best living room in Australia.” A masterpiece of timber, space, light and dark which most instantly prompts comparisons with Frank Lloyd Wright and (by extension) Edo period Japanese architecture, this compound of five bedrooms and three-and-a-half bathrooms also comes with an additional four apartments as part of the deal.’

An Iconic Mid-Century Home In The Heart Of St Lucia
‘The house was designed by acclaimed Queensland Modernist architect Stephen Trotter of Fulton Trotter and Partners (do not click here if you wish to spare yourself from the article of the outrageous demolition of their original office building in 2013).
And the home itself? Pass the brown paper bag – we must get some CO2! The light and windows. The radical bedroom/ensuite layout. The stunning timber ceiling and walls. The fireplace. That bulkhead lighting. The breeze blocks. The fat laminex. And is that an abstract tile mural behind the stove? The original 1960s kitchen stands, and the panelling and Murano glass pendants throughout, which will surely light-up-some modernist lovers’ eyes!

Love Like Yours- Day 1
Definitely got caught up in my new knitting project and forgot all about @lovelikeyoursfest yesterday! But better late than never right? :^)
Title: New Beginning Fandom: The Arcana Characters x Pairings: Asra Alnazar x OC (former); implied Julian Devorak x OC Word Count: 839 Rating: E for everyone? Idk how these work but there’s no spice Warnings/notes: I guess there might be spoilers if you haven’t read all of Asra’s and Julian’s routes? Early plague days Summary: Payton decides to start a journal of her time at the palace during the plague
My old mentor wrote to me to say that I should start a journal. It makes sense, from an archival point of view, to keep the records of this time, even though I’m sure many accounts will be written. But we wouldn’t preserve what we do if we didn’t see its value, right? Ah, I’m sorry, I’m getting sidetracked.
Anyway, Scott said I should write about my experience during this plague. Well, I used to run a magic shop with my fr pa Asra. I guess it’s important to mention we used to be a couple. But when the plague hit Vesuvia, they wanted to leave. They were always on the move, and, honestly, that’s one of the reasons I fell for them in the first place. But as our relationship got more serious and the shop gained popularity, I began to resent that they were always so eager to leave me behind, and I no longer had as much freedom to travel with them.
So when the plague hit and Asra said we should leave, we had a huge fight over it. I said it was just like them to run from the problem, and how could they leave when our neighbors and friends needed our help the most? They said they wanted to keep us safe, but at that point the plague had been reported in many distant lands as well. I hadn’t been in Vesuvia long at that point anyway-- only a few years ago I had quit my job as an archivist and moved to Vesuvia to start my shop. I didn’t want to take that risk again. Looking back on it, I know Asra only had my best interest at heart, but I guess I’d been harboring a lot of bad feelings about previous things we never worked out.
I don’t know where Asra is now, and now that I’ve had time to process my feelings, I wish I could apologize. I hope they’re somewhere safe and well. But now I’m glad I live alone. I don’t have much time to devote to romance anymore anyway. Last week I went to the palace to sign up to help the medical efforts. But, since I have no previous medical training, I’m an apprentice to Doctor Devorak. He’s very brilliant and kindly patient with me. I’m something of a slow learner.
Unfortunately, our time together has been relatively short-- since I do have archival training, it’s been my job to gather reports, write summaries of them for Dr. Devorak, and archive them properly. I give Dr. Devorak the reports at the end of my day (which I suspect is only the middle of his day, if he even keeps track of days anymore. It seems he’s always at the palace, working). After he reviews my reports, he invites me to shadow him for a while so I can learn medical lessons. It makes me nervous for him to read the reports I just spent so long writing while I stand by his desk in the library waiting for him to finish. But once he’s done, he comments briefly on whatever news is in the reports, and then we journey together to the dungeons where the patients are...kept.
It’s during this time, our walks to the dungeons, that we get the opportunity to talk. He likes to talk, and I like to hear him talk, but I’m afraid he thinks I’m boring. None of the stories I have can match his swashbuckling tales as a former pirate. My move to Vesuvia was the biggest thing that’s happened in my life. Although I think this plague might be the next big thing. Interestingly, Dr. Devorak never seems to talk about actual work things during our walks to the dungeon. I think he does this primarily for my benefit, because I know how dedicated he is to his work.
He tells me all kinds of animated tales about the adventures he’s been on, and I’ve come to the conclusion that it’s really a miracle he’s still alive at all, though I suspect he likes to get into trouble just for fun. He’s actually very funny, which is the complete opposite of what I expected. When we first met, he seemed surprised to see me, and he asked me several questions about my background and if I was sure I really wanted to learn medicine so I could help the plague efforts. After I said I did, he lectured me on the potential risks!
I was immediately annoyed. Why would I have gone all the way to the palace to volunteer if I wasn’t serious? I told him about my...situation with Asra, and after that he didn’t ask me any other questions. He seemed very serious, and since he’s always working, I figured he’d be the stern, distant type of doctor. But the more I talk to him, or the more he talks to me, the more I look forward to seeing him.

Payton heard a agonizing scream coming from the ballroom as she managed to slip out of Dolly’s arms as she saw what happened.
Her eyes were filled with horror as she saw her mistress on the ground with arrows pierced from the back and in the front of her
“NOOO!!! M-Mistress!!!” She cried out in terror as she ran to her side,oh the stupid girl.
She kneeled next to her as she was in a panic,”Y-you’ve gotta tell me what to do..Do you want me to pull the arrows out???”
She tried to put a brave face on for her ladyship but even she knew what she was doing could end up getting her killed. The apprentice was only human after all. Nothing more or less.
It was early dawn, a young woman walking through the grand corridors of an even grander palace. The snakes in her hair were not yet awake, and thus hung straight and limp. She yawned as she came upon the young apprentice's bedroom door, knocking a few times.
The little apprentice slowly woke up to the knocking at the door as she slowly sat up and yawned, rubbing her eyes.
“I-Im awakey Snake..”She stretches and hops out of bed as she gets herself dressed up for the day.She places on a dark purple dress that goes to her knees. She soon brushes her hair as she sighs.
“Just another day..lets get it over with I guess..”She says as she heads out of her room
#aww your welcome and thank you too ^^#AWW NUHZ MEH LADY D:#DEM BASTARDS LOL#oh payton you foolish girl DX
