I'm sorry for asking help once again but I've been finding it hard to keep up w/ my expenses lately and it's taking a toll on me. I can't accept new commissions rn since I'm still going through my backlog so I don't have any source of income atm.

#no they were best friends first #it wasn't love at first sight #I think Vasco just gradually noticed that Machete is sincere and kindhearted and genuinely tries to be a good person #and it's hard not to appreciate that Vasco is known for having those qualities too his are just a lot more evident #he's an one person dog but when he gets attached to you he's fervently dedicated loyal caring and supportive #he's perceptive thoughtful and a good listener #sensible highly responsible and keeps his promises #does his part or dies trying even if no one is there to notice #he's learned knowledgeable and a lot more sharp-witted than people give him credit for and infodumps as a love language #their interests and ideologies overlap or at least complement each other #he has problems but really tries to do better and never takes any help he's given for granted #he always dresses well smells nice and has soft pettable fur #and he can be kind of funny and cute in his own dorky way #and Vasco sees how his presence continuously brings out the best qualities in him #and cherishes the fact he can be such a positive force in someone's life #answered #anonymous #Vaschete lore

oooh wait so the plot hole of “why doesnt a spirit medium just channel the victims spirit” is literally bc the DL-6 spirit channeling cant be repeated huh

#im so fucking slow I was brushing my teeth thinking abt Gregory edgeworth in mayas clothes #and I haven’t played aa1 so I don’t actually know the details of it in case I get to play it for myself #but they brought up the spirit channeling mistake with misty and how it basically shot down the kurain techniques credibility right #and like. I guess trying to do that again would be a repeat of that incident which ended up with an innocent person being convicted #so Phoenix not only has to channel Mia because she’s the smarter better lawyer but also because summoning the victim #isnt exactly the first time it’s happened and gotten someone the guilty verdict. huh #replaying justice for all 2-4 so the case with Maya spirit channeling #and after playing aa3 I can really appreciate how much thought they put into the fey family and how a lot of the games events #revolve around it.#Mayas powers arent a ‘long lost ancestor’ as an excuse for her having powers. it is clearly and heavily expanded on #and the infighting makes so much sense when you consider the power differences between branch and main families.. and Mia becoming a lawyer #to find out what happened to her mother AND after being aware of that bloodshed and what it means for Maya #the way she chose Maya and didn’t want that for them. the way she put distance between them on purpose so they wouldn’t become like that #and Pearl is acknowledged as having more power than Maya but she’s fucking eight and loves Maya that she doesn’t see that as any #kind of power imbalance. heck when Morgan uses her for her plan in bridge to the turnabout Pearl was happy to do it #because Morgan said it was for pearls good and Pearl assumed that meant it would be good for Maya too and I 😭😭#the branch system was originally made so that even if you weren’t chosen as the master you could still support the family by protecting the #main branch. and the irony of that being the reason why main family members are targeted to be usurped #iris outright rejecting the notion of communicating to the dead and everything the fey clan stands for #there’s so much fucking lore to this and I don’t see it talked abt enough?????????!?????#yapping #ace attorney #as

Regarding ST's merch, I think it's really obvious quality wise what merch the boys had a direct hand in and what merch is just RCA slapping ST's name and logo on something because they know it'll sell. The figurine and the constant HT/Spencer's drops scream RCA just trying to make a buck.

I think the big thing we can do as fans, or in this case consumers, is just be really picky about what merch we actually buy. Let sales numbers and the market talk for us ig (ew capitalism, but unfortunately that's how this works)

Things like the graphic novel? Hell yeah, support the shit out of that! We're out here Obtaining new, original stories made in collaboration with the band themselves, AND supporting art that aligns with the band's previously-curated brand image. Throw your money at that or hype it up online, since that's what we REALLY want to see from them. (even if it's too $$$ for many people. But, I get the sense that they wouldn't mind the pdf being shared with other fans lol. You can't tell me those nerds haven't read pirated manga/comics/books online before)

The low quality, soulless Licensed Products keep on coming because there's apparently a market for them. People will buy it just because it's ST, not because it's actually worth the money. As if it'll bring any value to their experience with the band. How many fans actually want a fuckin lava lamp, or any assortment of the hot topic merch that's just Vessel's face cheaply screenprinted on the front?

I think there's a lot of hype and market potential for their brand and likeness right now, and—for a corporate entity—it makes sense to flood the market like fucking Atlantic with whatever merch will sell. Voting with your wallet really does help. Not buying into the obvious cash-grab merch produces data that tells marketers that we're tired of it. It produces trend reports which indicate their current merch practices are becoming unprofitable to continue (oh, the horrors!)

Idk like I said last night, there seems to be a big disconnect between the band's history of being very selective with aesthetics/design, and whatever is going on right now. Personally, I'd much rather wallow in despair over sleeping through a relatively rare merch drop during European daylight hours. Because then at least the drop feels worth it, and fans who were able to buy merch will have a better, higher quality experience that actually aligns with their brand. Literally anything other than what we're seeing from them right now.

Sorry I just woke up not too long ago, so this might not read very clearly. I want to see my boys succeed and make a living off their art as much as anyone else, but surely there's a better way to support them.

Hunter Pin Update!

Hi everyone! I just wanted to pop in and say that I am actively looking into manufacturing my Hunter pin designs! I was so surprised at all of the engagement, and I want to work as hard as I can to make them real.

The issue for me is, I have nowhere near enough money! Pins require a lot of work and resources, including access to mailers, a good manufacturer, and pantone color books to best ensure accuracy. I want to purchase the latter so I can continue to use it in the future as well.

This can all add up REALLY, REALLY FAST though. And as someone with no selling experience, I am taking a lot of time to research so no one is disappointed or nothing goes wrong.

So, to acquire the funds to open my own, PERSONAL shop, I am offering donations to my Ko-fi and selling my Hexsquad sticker designs on RB! My Ko-fi Commissions will also be opening this week.

Being a full time college student with only a part time income (and pets and myself to feed), money is always short. So any support and shares will be 100% valued and appreciated!

NOTE: RB has not uploaded my designs yet, but they should hopefully be up at some point today. Please follow me there if you are interested in purchasing them or any other designs I may upload!

I am. once again thinking about Ashes aftercare

#not them giving aftercare but receiving it #they'd definitely be the type that would know logically that doms require aftercare but insist they're just built different #(they are not and the difference from when they fully give aftercare vs when they give and receive is obvious)#verbal compliments and appreciation go a long way #but what really works best is increased touching like leaning on them or sitting in their lap more in the following days #just anything that shows them their partners aren't scared of them- not in any real way #they have a sadistic streak a mile wide and thoroughly enjoy people who have matching masochistic streaks #but they have the risk of dropping bad if their partner falls asleep before any kind of talking after a heavy s/m scene #they'll stay there and cuddle sure #but it's unlikely they'll fall asleep themselves and likely they will spiral with all that time to do nothing but think #Everybody does their best to give them aftercare no matter how fucked out they themselves are #No one wants to be the one that makes the one person on the ship capable of domming them all start isolating or hold back #and also the mechs care about Ashes but the threat of unfun torture from all of the crew definitely helps #Ashes does find it cute when one if their partners can barely form a sentence and their face is still half in a pillow streaked with #tears and makeup but they do their best to babble incoherently about how much they love them tho #Oh and being visibly happy with things like collars or marks esp in a nonsexual setting also makes them feel more assured too #support your local dom today by sitting in their lap no matter how bruised your own ass is #kinkdicon

Whenever she’s not hanging out with her friends or fighting ghosts, she’s paying visits to her childhood home.

The past two years, despite their ups and downs, have given me a good opportunity to improve my art. This piece is, in some ways, a culmination of what I’ve learned so far.

I’m slowly moving away from black lineart, or just lineart in general. I find that it looks much better that way. Happy to see that my backgrounds are improving as well :)
