Truth, Justice & Northrup Grumman
Tumblr media
Four genocides are happening right now:
Palestine/Gaza
Sudan
Congo
Tigra
Last 3 are in Africa so no mainstream news coverage.
US is funding the 1st one because of Zionism (Israel).
There is a 3 front war coming due to US presidential election being next November: Palestine (siding with Israel, Russia (siding with Ukraine), Iran (siding with Israel vs Iran & Palestine).
Biden is asking for $100 billion -- $60 billion for Israel & $40 billion for Ukraine.
He refuses to say how long the US engagements in Israel & Ukraine would be or to give any kind of timetable yet he is demanding 100 billion US dollars fund the genocide in Palestine & the war in Ukraine.
Biden is already openly threatening Iran using very bellicose statements that they had better stay out of Palestine and essentially doing everything he can to start WW3.
Biden is already making an argument that wars in Palestine & Ukraine are good for the US economy in trying to get Congress to approve the $100 billion in aid to Israel & Ukraine.
He claimed that US weapons manufacturing plants that make the weapons in the Israeli and Ukrainian conflicts would be responsible for creating 15k+ US jobs.
It is the Iraq War all over again.
Trumped up, contrived, fake as fuck, only happening to prop up sagging presidential approval ratings, to assure reelection & to drum up jingoism, nationalism & virulent blind patriotism that leads to nihilistic militarism, warmongering, national bloodlust & endless empire building on the corpses of young men, some idealistic, many black brown & poor, endlessly exploited by the capitalist war machine.
Ads to Be All You Can Be while Uncle Sam pays for college education that should be free when student loans literally just went back into repayment will coincide nicely with the aggressive push for WW3.
American jobs. American corpses. American mothers weeping for their dead sons.
Caskets draped in US flags for 21 year old boys.
18 year olds dying in a country they've never visited for no fucking reason.
Hamas is the enemy. Russia is the enemy. Iran is the enemy.
Go die for your country.
Go die for Biden.
Go die to build Americas empire.
Go kill people you've never even met.
Go pull a trigger when your only experience with guns is Call of Duty.
Go destroy your innocence.
Go make your parents proud.

Go risk your life for the VA to treat you like shit if you manage to survive.

Go to see civilians used as gun fodder and pregnant women used as shields.
Go to see toddlers killed and babies exploded.
Go so you can be given orders that will kill you just so your CO can look good.
Go to get endlessly hazed, bullied, harrassed and almost killed by your fellow Marines so you can get a fancy certcomm later.
Go so you can add "US veteran Armed Forces" to your LinkedIn.
Go endlessly traumatize yourself as an infantryman for noone to hire you once the "conflict" is over and you come home.
Go so you can see endless horrors in war then have endless difficulties "transitioning to a civilian career" once you get home.
Go for the death squads and rape parties.
Go to be captured by the enemy and tortured.
Go to be a prisoner of war.
Go so your weeping mother can be handed a folded flag at your burial to be put inside a glass case.
Go so you can fill the burial plots at military cemeteries across the country.
Go so Biden gets reelected and Trump gets reinstated on twitter.
Go for the chevrons and the stripes.
Go to get pinned.
Go for the trauma and nightmares.
Go so your VA benefits can get cut later.
Go so you can blow your brains out in a VA parking lot since theres still a waiting list to see a psychiatrist for your PTSD, depression, suicidal ideation, insomnia and night terrors.
Go for the sleep demon paralysis.

Go for the Super Bowl honoring you at half time.
Go for the proof through the night that our flag was still there.
Go for the home of the free and the land of the brave.
Go for spacious skies and amber waves of grain.
Go for purple mountains majesty above the fruited plains.
Go to crown thy good with brotherhood from sea to shining sea.

Go to rape a local girl.
Go to vent some steam.

Veteran's Day with Steve Rogers
Tumblr media
Steve is up, and turns on the news.
He's seeing all of the Veteran's Day tributes.
He pulls out his old military dress uniform.
Not his hero "oonifom".
Margaret is in a cute red, white and blue sweater.
Of course, Sarah has to wear her Captain America dress.
James has to wear his Captain America costume because he wants to look "just like Daddy."
Tumblr media
Baby Margaret is sound asleep in her stroller, and she also has a red, white, and blue blanket that you crocheted.
She also has a Captain America lovey.
You all go to the parade and watch Steve going by.
You all go to Applebee's after the parade. Everyone gets their favorites, and you get your favorite dessert.
Sarah and James all draw pictures of Steve.
Tumblr media
Veteran's Day is more meaningful because he got to spend it with his family.
The Avengers-including Tony-also help Steve celebrate Veteran's Day.
They all have an indoor picnic and barbecue for Steve.
You're there, too.
Steve never thought that Veteran's Day would have this much meaning.
He got to spend it with his friends, including Bucky and Sam.
Tumblr media
You and Steve leave early because it's a school night.
Steve can't wait until next year.

Today is a bittersweet day. Today I remember my brother KIA SSGT Chauncy Ryan Mays 705th EOD!! We all love and miss you, Bubba. 13 years ago today I had my first date with the love of my life on veterans day with my brother and his wife at Applebee's. Yes, our first date was with my brother lol! 1 week before he shipped out for Afghanistan. I'm so thankful this day happened because it was the only time my now wife ever met my brother.
If you see a veteran today thank them for all they have done, hell buy them a meal or a beer - they deserve it. On behalf of DLFG, I hope you have a wonderful veterans day and thank you for your service.

Veterans Day Specials:Exclusive Discounts and Freebies at Florida & Milwaukee Restaurants
Tumblr media
Veterans Day, a federal holiday always observed on November 11th, is fast approaching. On this day, businesses, theme parks, and restaurants nationwide are expressing their gratitude to military veterans by offering discounts or free items in recognition of their service. November 11th, 1918, marked the end of "the war to end all wars" as acknowledged by the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs. This day holds special significance, serving as an opportunity to honor America's veterans for their unwavering patriotism, love of country, and their willingness to serve and sacrifice for the greater good. Many businesses participate in this gesture of appreciation by extending special discounts or freebies to veterans. We will continuously update the list of participating businesses as more announcements are made. For those wondering about Veterans Day observances: - When is Veterans Day 2023? Veterans Day will be celebrated on Saturday, November 11th. - Is Veterans Day a federal holiday? Yes, Veterans Day is indeed a federal holiday. When it falls on a Saturday, federal employees observe the holiday on the preceding Friday. Consequently, federal employees will have the day off on November 10th this year. - Is it Veterans Day, Veterans' Day, or Veteran's Day? The correct term is "Veterans Day." Wondering about the food and restaurant discounts or freebies available for military personnel on Veterans Day? Keep in mind that most establishments require proof of military service, and not all franchise locations participate in Veterans Day programs. Find the Word Tag Game
tagged by: @sleepyowlwrites ❤ my words: bite, break, bend, breathe, brave, badger, bounce tagging: @zmlorenz, @ashen-crest, @drabbleitout, @drippingmoon, anyone who wants to, and the server from Applebee’s several years ago who kept refilling my lemonade every couple of minutes while everyone else I was with had a normal amount of refills  your words: slow, cross, went, smile, pass
bite (Destiny)—
Thrive got the capsule open and dropped the veteran rifle on his way down to one knee, a grimace crossing his features as he let out a short cry of pain.
Warren watched in alarm. "What is it? What's wrong?"
Thrive shoved his hand through the snow and gripped the grass in such a tight fist he ripped a chunk of dirt out of the ground. He took several deep breaths. "...My spine."
Warren crouched to wrap an arm around his waist and pull him to his feet. "Christ, I knew that'd bite you on the ass. Be glad you're not paralyzed."
break (Rebirth)—
"Oh, uh...that was quick," Corin said. He sounded out of breath, like he'd been running, which was odd in and of itself. "I...haven't exactly decided how I want to break this down for you yet."
"Is everyone alright?"
"Yeah, yeah, everyone's fine. We're all fine. Um...shit. I don't...you guys need to come to my lab before you do anything else when you get back."
"What do you—"
"I'm serious! This is a Class Five Emergency. Do not do anything else until we speak!"
The call ended, and Warren lifted his eyebrows. "What's a Class Five Emergency?"
Thrive rolled his neck to stretch out a knot. "Something he made up just now. Get to bed."
bend (Rebirth)—
She darted for the door but Sussa had freed herself and knocked Ysha back, throwing her to the ground at Nyra's feet. Nyra stomped one foot onto Ysha's matted hair, pinning her in place.
Thrive approached her, filling the room with an amber glow as he changed into his human form once again, shedding his fur vest and bending down so he could look her in the eye. "Give us all of your information on the nuaclan."
Ysha spat a viscous and foul fluid at Thrive, though it didn't hit him and instead splattered onto her own face.
"You come into my kingdom like someone with a grudge," she snarled.
"Why would I have a grudge against you? We're all friends here, are we not?"
Ysha narrowed her eyes and Nyra drew a dagger from her belt.
"Unless," Thrive continued, glancing at Nyra to imbue patience, "you're referring to what I told you would happen if you came after Warren. For that, you would be correct."
breathe (Eternal)—
The next time Thrive stood at the window in his form suit and bathrobe, Warren got up from the couch, removed the terry cloth garment and peeled the skin-tight black suit from his shoulders. Draped the articles over the desk chair and watched him stand, naked as all, still unmoving from his spot.
A few times Warren had to bathe Thrive himself. Then Thrive would get embarrassed, snap out of whatever made him borderline comatose and refuse to let him care for him further. He stomped out of the bathroom and pretended to brainstorm ways to outsmart the Emmuli, to get them out of that cabin once and for all. But they both knew he gave up a while ago.
Warren wished he was back in Alaska. The real Alaska, the genuine cabin, with bitterly cold air he longed to breathe again. He had glimpses of it in his dreams, walking through the tranquil forest, Thrive close behind, guarding, ever vigilant. Unintelligible whispers passing their ears. He wondered at times if those weren’t dreams. He couldn’t bring himself to ask.
This was supposed to be a dream, too. A nightmare. Anything but reality. But what did reality even mean?
brave (Destiny)—
"Small human is braver than he should be," Armatax yelled.
"And you're stupider than I thought you were," Warren yelled back, "if you think I had it out for you on day one."
Armatax cocked his head toward Thrive, yellow eyes boring directly into Warren's face. "I have information from small human about obhelian. Secret, yes?"
Warren's mouth went dry. "...What are you—"
"You tell him or I tell him!"
Thrive's fingers twitched in warning. "Armatax. Don't."
badger (Destiny)—
"Could you take the creature?"
Thrive nodded, though he hesitated first.
"You can take on a Foremaster and a Headmaster with your bare hands, but you're afraid of this ratty-ass, honey-badger-lookin' motherfucker?"
"Consider the fact that there are animals in the universe that, if they bite or are touched, can inject deadly toxins into the body that would render even me completely useless or dead."
"Look...I'm sorry I made you break your oath but honestly, you shoulda just let me fight you."
"Despite the near-impossible stipulation of you having to kill me, I'm beginning to think that would've been the better option." Thrive peered into the doorway again. "It's moved on. If we're careful, we may be able to pass it."
bounce (Meridian)—
"Mr. Cougar?"
He turned and peered at a boy half his height, long hair drawn into a tight ponytail that cascaded down his back, jet-black ringlets that bounced a little as he moved his head. "Hey, Charis! What's up, buddy?"
Charis shrugged dramatically, face scrunched in a disapproving frown. "I can't get this routine down. My talents aren't enough for something this complicated. I quit, man, I quit!"
Warren quirked an eyebrow and snorted. "We just started this dance today, dude. If you're expecting to perfect all of my dances in less than a half-hour, you're gonna be sorely disappointed all the time."

also FUCK Darden restaurants aka Olive Garden for trying to push that good PR “oh we’re giving our employees 2 weeks sick time!! :D” like fuck off your entire industry should have been doing this the entire time. I will never forget the day I worked the line at Applebee’s with a full blown sinus and ear infection, hovering over the burger grill ready to fall face first over it, for 10 hours because we had a Veteran’s Day promotion and ‘weren’t allowed to call out’. And do not tell me this is a good step or progress, it’s PR. The moment this blows over and the dust settles, Olive Garden is going to go back into their employee benefits page and delete the sick time. I worked for this industry for too long and know too much to give any benefit of the doubt to these places.

Every 22 minutes, a veteran takes their own life!!
My brothers and sisters, don't become just another statistic!! If you EVER have the urge to unalive yourself, reach out to someone - anyone!! An old bud, a religious person of your faith, or even a first responder. If all else fails, call the national mental health help line at 988. Just do something before you take that final step!!
An old friend once told me that in order to be successful at life, you only have to get up one more time than you fall. Before you take that final fall, follow the steps above!! I'm getting up in the years and enough of my friends are dying of old age - I don't need my new friends leaving the party early!!
Just call someone!! It'll all look better later I guarantee you. Been there, done that, got the t-shirt. I sure am glad I didn't take the final step!! I would have missed my beautiful fiance and little girl!!
Life is worth it - just take the time you get the help you need so we can meet at Applebee's next Veteran's Day and swap stories!!
