Some kind of practice piece. I wanted to draw Tublade using the "Demon mode" dual blades users have. It was practice for the effect, feel and drawing open jaws etc.
Filthy practice piece is filthy.

Uh what progam do you use and how much does it piss you off?
[Time to get anal about my preferences, hoo boy-]
For the most part, I currently use Ibis Paint X and Artflow.
Listen, I've tried so many apps, you don't even know. MediBang is okay and I can work with it fine, Sketchbook is not good enough for me, and I've never touched any of the Adobe apps. I think Ibis Paint just manages to be so simple yet full of features and I've steadily latched onto it ever since I stopped having enough time to sit down at a computer and draw on heavier stuff. Besides, I have a bunch of custom brushes that I'm probably going to struggle replicating in other programs, but alas... I have very few complaints about it.
I wouldn't recommend Artflow for anything too complex. It was mostly just an impulse buy for me because it was on sale and I have no self-control. Regardless, I use it to sketch mostly. It's simple and fast and I've become Pavloved to basically only sketch on Artflow for some reason.
I have Procreate on my iPad. It's... It's good? I just don't like it that much? No seriously, I recognize it has many perks, but I'm hardly an Apple user and the stabilizer works like hot glue. I have no way to explain it coherently without saying that it just feels like you're squeezing the line out a tube of paste and it drives me up the walls.
Before moving basically almost exclusively to mobile drawing- I used Paint Tool SAI, both versions, almost religiously. I also have many other programs stored around. Photoshop, some animation ones that I barely touch but hope to get into one day. I've tried Clip Studio Paint and dipped pretty soon because I currently don't have the brain power to sit down and bother to learn it.

Riza drawn for Art Fight. This character belongs to @kagamineriri
~sketch and more below~
Sketch.
I changed the direction of the eyes because I drew a stage background. I think it makes more sense for her to look into the audience instead of to the right.
Version without light effects on the character.
Partial time lapse.
First time I used the record function of ArtFlow and some parts (especially at the beginning) are missing, because apparently you have to manually hit the start and stop recording button to save a video in this app. Then I had to stitch several videos together, because I drew it in multiple sessions. I think I may leave time-lapse videos mainly to Clip Studio Paint and ibis Paint in the future.

I did a fairy type Sableye for a friend as per their request this was at the beginning of me bothering them to give me ideas for type swapped Pokémon and when I used my first art app, Artflow studio, I've since moved to Medibang Paint on my tablet as it allows more creative freedom.
Fairy Sableye, this variant of Sableye is a little terror. Oh yes it is very cute looking but don't be deceived it has extra fingers for a reason. It's body is now pink as it's a very fairy like color and it's eyes have become some type of pink gem as well as its belly gem being some type of Rose Quartz. In all honesty this could probably do with a redesign. The original drawing also had crystal wings but I couldn't make them work so I may have to redo this one and make it more fairy like.

Be hold! A screen shot of a filthy wip!
Currently only doing the flat colours before I move onto details and the background, I'll probably leave it for today and just do some fun doodles as it's getting a bit late now.
The app being used is Artflow studio. Yes this is being done on my phone (long may it suffer!).
Like the wip? (Why?? Its a filthy wip! ) reblog it!

What app do you use to make digital arts? I'm starting to draw in computer now, after 6 years of doodling in paper, do you have any advice to give me? :)
for software, I started with firealpaca and then moved to krita. both are free to download and good quality (though I like krita better personally). there’s a bit of a learning curve for both of them, but they’re not too hard to figure out. I’ve been eyeing clip studio paint for a while because it has a ton of features that krita and firealpaca don’t, but it’s kind of expensive so I haven’t gotten it yet.
the only tablet I’ve ever used is my wacom cintiq, which has its own screen and, aside from some fixable issues with the drivers, has worked really well for my purposes. wacom can be kind of expensive, so if you’re looking for something cheaper you could try finding a used tablet (like I did) or going for a different brand (there are a couple that are similar to wacom and decent quality for a lower price, but I’m not the one to ask about those since I don’t have any firsthand experience).
if you’re looking for something that works on a mobile touchscreen device, I used to use procreate and adobe ideas for ipad (I liked both, but this was 5+ years ago so I don’t know how they’ve held up/changed since then) and I have artflow on my phone, which I don’t love but is okay for doodling at least.
hope this helps! I know there are better reviews and tutorials out there for everything I’ve mentioned here - I’m not very good at that kind of thing.
and of course, digital art has a separate learning curve from traditional art. some things are much easier, some things take longer to get used to, some things are pretty much the same. time, practice and experimentation go a long way. and good luck :)

Artflow...just needed to take a nap (???)
Artflow Studio’s a fantastic app,
used it for a few weeks and started a few new projects on it that I’m just about ready to upload.
Now if only it’d stop crashing every time I go to re-open it.
It’s really frustrating since I actually bought it and intended on using it long term.
Been lookin’ around the googles trying to find ways to get this ONE app to function and haven’t had any luck.
Anyone else’s having issues with it? And if ya managed to find solutions for it, did it work?
I tried uninstalling it and reinstalling it dozens of times and clearing my cache and it refuses to function.
Deleted a lot of images and software at the time, and even got CC cleaner for the phone and nothing worked but then...
UPDATE: it works now...
I just had to do NOTHING for a few weeks

You Must Download These Android Apps If You Are an Artist
Being an artist is not an easy task, but technology can help you in various ways. You can use multiple apps on your smartphone and create whatever you want to make. Here is the list of some fantastic Android apps for all the artists out there.
ArtFlow
ArtFlow is an app for drawing and painting that provides you with a variety of features including 70 types of brush, features to adjust colors, up to 16 layouts, tools to paint high-resolution canvas, pressure simulation tools to give your drawing a realistic look, and various other stuff. This app allows you to export your file in JPG, PNG, and PSD. The user interface of the app is quite straightforward, and it works pretty well. You can use this app for free or purchase its premium version that will cost you $4.99. But if you use Google Play Pass, then you can use this app entirely for free.
Autodesk’s Apps
Autodesk is an American company that offers hundreds of applications on Google Play for artists. The apps provided by Autodesk are fantastic, and they give you very professional outcomes. These apps provide you with plenty of features, and they are very easy to use because of their straightforward user interface. Some of Autodesk’s apps are AutoCAD 360, Pixlr, SketchBook, FBX Review, etc. You can use these apps entirely for free.
BandLab
BandLab is a music recording app that can be used as a digital audio workstation. It is a quite simple application that offers you a variety of decent features, including built-in tools such as a metronome and guitar tuner, cross-platform support, 12 different track recording features, and various other stuff. It even offers you some social elements where you can check what other people are doing, collaborate with other artists, and do many more things. It’s undoubtedly a great app, especially for recording your music, and you can use it entirely for free.
FL Studio Mobile
FL Studio Mobile is quite a popular music creating application that provides you with a variety of fantastic features that you can use to make some amazing music. This app offers you a MIDI controller, a built-in piano roll editor that you can use to find specific chords, various audio effects, cross-platform support, and much more fantastic stuff. It is an excellent app, but it is quite expensive. To avail FL Studio Mobile, you will have to pay $15.99 with additional in-app purchases.
LayerPaint HD
The app LayerPaint HD is one of the best drawing apps loaded with plenty of useful features, including support for PSD files, various tools for drawing and editing, multiple layers, undo and redo options, and many more things. It is an excellent app, and you can do a lot of amazing stuff using it.
But I would recommend you to use this app only when you had a big screen smartphone or on tablets as the app’s user interface contains a variety of tools and a phone’s screen is too small for that. The app offers you two different versions, the first one is available for $2.99, and the second version is available for $6.99. I would recommend using the second version of the app that costs $6.99.
PowerDirector Video Editor
PowerDirector Video Editor is an excellent video editor app available for Android. The app allows you to do a variety of stuff, including dropping clips in and editing them, adding photos, audios, and other media files. PowerDirector Video Editor provides you with various features such as amazing audio and video effects, decent editing tools, a feature to render videos in 4k quality, and many more things. You can use this app for free, but the free version of the app will give you access to some limited features, and to get access to the entire app, you will have to purchase its premium version that will cost you $5.99.
These above-mentioned apps are very useful apps for various artists worldwide, and I would strongly recommend you to try a few of the apps we have mentioned in this list. I hope you liked the article. Thank you!

If anyone ever wondered what art program I use? It's a mobile app, on Android and maybe Apple (not sure there) called ArtFlow Studio. I use it on my phone.
Most common line brushes I use lately are "fine pen" (for neater linework) and "old brush" which has become one of my favorites as you can tell. For coloring I use "roundbrush", "watercolor", "flatbrush", and "chisel pen".
I've been using that for almost 4 years now and no, I refuse to learn anything else.
