This doesn’t include their state siblings because that would take forever, but they all are full siblings to their state replacements.

Got any childhood stories for Miles and Andrew?

//Sure do! I think this may be the earliest I’ve ever posted a drabble. Notes at the end, as always

“What is that?”

“Fwog!” Miles said, holdinghis new friend out proudly. The frog was small, about the size of Miles’ ownfist (which wasn’t large). Alex sighed and pinched he bridge of his nose.

“Alright, I should have wordedthat differently. Why do you have a frog, Miles?”

Miles shifted on hisfeet, still grinning. “Pet!”

Alex sighed again butnodded, turning his attention to Andrew. Andrew stood beside Miles and clutcheda small handful of flowers and weeds that looked like they’d been yankedstraight out of the dirt rather than picked. Dirt still clung in clumps to thedangling roots. Andrew noticed Alex looking at him and held out his littlefistful of flowers.

Alex nodded again andasked, “Are these a pet, too?”

Andrew shook his head,and Miles piped up, “Fowews! Fo baby!” He pointed excitedly toward the door atthe end of the hallway, Ahyoka’s room.

Glancing down the hall whereMiles pointed, Alex was quiet for a moment. He said, “You got flowers for thebaby? Is that who the pet is for, too?” Both boys nodded.

Alex leaned against thewall and thought. While the boys’ efforts were sweet and Naduah and Onaconawould probably find them endearing, Ahyoka’s parents still probably wouldn’tappreciate Miles or Andrew dropping dirt-covered greenery and live animals inthe newborn’s crib. Of course, Miles and Andrew didn’t understand why a babycouldn’t play with a frog or rock; they weren’t very old themselves. However,while Alex wasn’t going to give a literal newborn baby a live frog and adirt-covered bouquet, he couldn’t just tell his little brothers to get rid oftheir gifts. Judging by their mud-caked… well, mud-caked everything, they had worked very hard to bring something nice tothe newest member of the household. It would break their hearts if someone toldthem they brought bad gifts.

Finally, Alex stood upstraight and spoke. “Ok, here’s the thing; babies aren’t supposed to play withdirty things, alright? But we can still bring your presents to Ahyoka. Here,follow me.” He led the boys to the kitchen and grabbed a glass and a large bowl.All three went outside, where Alex filled the glass with water, then put alittle more water in the bowl.

“Andrew,” Alex said as heset both dishes down, “hand me those flowers.” Andrew did so, and Alex washedas much of the dirt off as he could before putting them in the glass. Next, hegestured to Miles’ frog and instructed him to hand the animal over. Miles alsodid as he was told and Alex gentle wiped some of the grime off the creaturebefore putting it in the bowl, along with some rocks and sticks and plants.

“Okay, so the frog willprobably have to stay in Angel or his parents’ rooms and away from Ahyoka’scrib since we don’t have a lid to keep him in the bowl, but we can show him toAhyoka if she’s awake, okay? Maybe we can get him a box of some kind to live inlater. The flowers we can leave on the table by her crib, since they can’t getout.” He stood up and smiled at his brothers, who both grinned back. All threeboys headed back to the house to present their gifts.

//Ok, so Ahyoka is literally only a few days old in this drabble and Miles and Andrew are like 1 1/2 to 2 years old physically.

Name: Serena Baila Jones Age: 142 (physically 14 years old) Personality: Sweet, fearless, hard worker and musician. Serena is a very kind and loving girl who has a love for her original caregiver Columbia who she stills keeps in touch with even after Alfred adopted her as a us territory. Serena embraces both of her caregivers haratige and culture's especially when they make up a large majority of her population. Serena love's coffee and owns her own Café where she makes and serves her own coffee and delicious sweets. Serena is a very musical person and can play jazz as well as island music, often collaborating with Louisiana and Missouri. Serena has a cutting knife that she uses as protection against anyone she deemed as a threat to her or her family. She very claim and loving just don't insult her mom or you'll be ment with knife to your throat or one throw at your head. Likes: Her friends and family, music, her people, and coffee. Dislikes: Anyone disrespecting her family, anyone getting hurt, not having any coffee in the morning. Facts: Similar to her sister New York she love's coffee and would snap at anyone if she doesn't have any of it early in the morning. Can speak English, Spanish, French, Chinese, Dutch and more. Has a walkman that she uses to listening to music and record audio from. Qoutes: "No lo hagas. Herir. Mi. Familia." ( Her warning as she holds a knife to someone's neck she deemed a enemy) "Hello,my name is Serena Baila Jones, personification of Serranilla Bank. Nice to meet you." ((tbh anon at least 10 ppl will agree with you! XD. After all, Louisiana is a very responsible father figure for the states that once constituted the Louisiana territory. Even though that close familial bond they shared has mostly faded away as time passed (of course, except Kansas and Nebraska), these states still remember Louisiana very fondly and will visit him during the holidays!))

I really like this blog and I feel like it needs more attention. Here's my question: Who exactly is part of Okie's family? Does she consider people who aren't blood related as family?

I think family definitely goes beyond blood. Honestly, blood doesn’t necessarily make someone family, either.

As for who I consider family, there’s obviously my brother and his… fiance? Husband? Anyway, there’s Tex and Lou. Then there’s Arizona and Missouri, who are like siblings to me. And Coahuila. Mexico isn’t really related to me, but he’s kind of like a weird uncle. New Mexico and California are kind of like cousins.

Sequoyah is my sister but… she’s not here anymore. and then there’s my parents, too.

I guess I kinda have a big family, huh?
