Rescue on the Metro w/ Aone and Tendou

Synopsis: You are on the metro and they come to your rescue.

Pairings: Aone Takanobu and Tendou Satori (separately) x fem!reader

Genre: fluff

Warnings: sexual harassment

Word count: 1.5K words

Author’s Note: Ignore the fact that the reader is taking the metro to Shiratorizawa. I know that it’s a boarding school but just for the sake of the story let’s pretend it’s not (✿◠‿◠)

Aone Takanobu

you are a second year at date tech

every day you have to take the metro to school because you live kind of far away

you are always on the train around rush hour in the morning because people with office jobs are trying to get around the city as well

one day on your way to school you actually find a train car with fewer people on it, which usually doesn’t happen

you see an open seat next to a tall, angry-looking boy, who happens to be sporting the uniform for date tech

you sit in silence for a few stops until you decide to say something because you still have a long ride ahead of you

“do you also go to date tech?”

the stoic boy does not even bother to look over at you as he simply nods his head once in response

you brustle a bit at his refusal to speak to you, but you continue to try and have a conversation

“i’m a second year student. are you one, too?”

again, he only gives you a nod in response to the question. but this time, his hard gaze slides to his right and lands on you

your stomach drops as you become aware of how scary the boy sitting next to you actually is

but then you see his gaze soften and a pink blush appears on his cheeks

he looks down quickly in order to hide his embarrassment

“my name is y/n.”

the boy still has a red face when you say this, and he won’t look up

maybe he’s just shy, you think

“what’s yours?” you ask him

he finally looks back at you warily

“aone takanobu.” uwu

you can’t seem to keep a smile from sliding onto your face. his name is so cute in comparison to his frightening exterior 🥺

“well aone, it’s nice to meet you.”

before he can respond, an older man sits down on your other side

the smell of cigarettes and b.o. wafts from him, entering your nostrils

you try to scoot away from him, but there’s not much room on your left, seeing as aone is a hulking giant of a person and takes up a lot of space

the dirty man begins to trail his hand along the hem of your skirt, occasionally rubbing the material between his fingers

you tense up immediately, and instinctively grab onto aone’s massive arm

aone is a pretty observant person and knew exactly when the man sat down next to you that he would be a problem

shy baby was just hyping himself up and making sure that you actually wanted him to intervene on your behalf

but after you reach for him, aone knows that it would be okay for him to do something

in one movement, he lifts you up off of your seat (much to the surprise of your harasser) and slides over to sit where you just were. aone then carefully places you down on his other side, positioning a protective arm around your shoulders

the sleazy man takes one look at the giant middle blocker to his left and gets off at the next stop

now that the man has gone, aone begins to remove his arm, but you place your small hand atop his large one, causing him to cease his motion and leave his arm there

you give your silent thanks to him, feeling eternally grateful that he was on the train today

finally you arrive at your stop for school 

as you walk off the train, you gather enough confidence to ask him to stay with you

“um, aone… would it be alright if I stayed with you on the metro from now on?”

you turn your head upwards and see him nod once, but this time you know that he isn’t indifferent, he is just a man of few words

you smile and look away, happy to have made a new adorable friend

it’s too bad that you look away from him so soon though, because you miss the small smile that graces his face at the thought of being able to see you every day

Tendou Satori

you had moved schools right before your third year of high school 

your old school, Aoba Johsai, was not as academically challenging as you had hoped, and you switched to Shiratorizawa for your last year before graduation

you were not used to taking the train to school because Seijoh was much closer to your house, and was within walking distance. now, it would take you at least an hour to walk, so you decided you needed a better mode of transportation

on your first day of of school, you are running late so by the time you make it to the train station, it’s already packed

hopping onto the next train, you find that even the cars are full of people and you’re forced to stand 

you reach for the nearest handrail and pray that you’ll make it to class on time

as people continue to get on and off, you become more surrounded by other passengers, ending up away from the train doors and right in the middle of the car

a creepy-looking man, who has been on the metro since you got on, slowly makes his way towards you

you are on your phone to distract yourself from all the people around you, whom, in your opinion, are way too close

the moment you open on your messages app, you feel a hand come around your body from behind and land on your waist

shocked, you stiffen and look down at where the stranger is touching you

the old, hairy hand is making its way down the front of your skirt and you look back up to try and make eye contact with someone in a silent plea for help

due to the train being filled to capacity, nobody can really tell that you are being fondled by this creep, and nobody is looking your way

at this point you are panicking because you still have at least ten minutes until your stop and there’s no way you can take a different train because you’ll be late to school

the man has almost reached the waistband of your underwear when his hand is suddenly yanked out of your skirt

you whirl around at the absence of him and come face to face with your red-headed savior. well, it’s more like face to chest because he’s much taller than you

his long, handsome fingers are tightly wrapped around the perpetrators wrist

“and what, exactly, do you think you’re doing?” the stranger demands savagely

the man just stares up at him, fumbling to come up with an explanation

“the only person allowed to put their hands on her is me.” the boy looks as if he could snap your harasser’s wrist with his anger alone

you flush at his words, butterflies filling your previously empty stomach

he drops the man’s wrist and reaches out to gently circle your waist, bringing you flush against him

the scent of lilacs envelopes you, and you realize it’s coming from him

“leave now,” he says dangerously

the old pervert makes his way across the busy train car in an attempt to get far away from you and your protector

“thank you” you say to him. “i really don’t know what i would’ve done without you”

the handsome boy smiles down at you. “well then it’s a good thing i was here, isn’t it?”

pink tints your cheeks as you realize that his arm is still around you, and had been joined at some point by the other one

at your blush, he pulls you infinitesimally closer

“i see you also go to Shiratorizawa” he says, eyeing your uniform

“oh, yeah. it’s my first year there because i transferred schools. i’m a third year.”

his eyes light up at this statement

“i guess that means you’ll need a tour guide then. i’m tendou satori, happy to be of service” 

tendou tries to do a mock bow, but he’s still holding you so it doesn’t really work

you let out a laugh and his smile grows

“thank you for the offer, tendou,” you say. “i think i’ll take you up on it.”

“there are rules though,” he says sweetly

“what kind of rules?”

“the first one is that you can’t ride the metro alone,” he smirks, “you’ll have to stay with me.”

“well i guess that’s not so bad,” you say as heat creeps up your neck.

the train finally reaches your stop, tendou keeping one arm around you as you make your way through the crowd of people

“oh, by the way, i never caught your name”

“it’s y/n”

his face freezes, lips slightly parted, eyes wide.

“what?” you ask, concerned

there is a long moment before he speaks. “pretty..” tendou murmurs

Aone took the train home again today and he was unusually nervous. It wasn't an everyday occurrence for him to see someone sit next to him despite other vacant seats.

He noticed her short hair but it was her height that made her stand out the most, standing at five foot eleven or 180 cm. The fact that someone was "brave enough" to sit next to him was enough to leave him in awe but Aone was more surprised to notice their similarities.

She had light colored hair as well and her height was uncommon for girls. In Aone's eyes, he was staring at a carbon copy of himself.

Yuko looked at him and she has seemed to have noticed the staring. She was confused on what to do and strangely, for whatever reason it may be, she stared back, completely forgetting how close they were.

"Sorry," Aone spoke in a soft voice, almost unaudible.

She, then, looked towards a different direction and fixated her gaze on her hands which were on her lap. It wasn't difficult to see how shy she got. Moreover, Aone was also noticing how awkward it got.

"Is she also like me?" Aone asked himself. Meanwhile, Yuko couldn't think of anything else to keep herself calm. She played with her hands and let out a sigh.

Then, Yuko distracted herself with her phone and Aone caught himself glancing at her from time to time.

"She's pretty," he thought to himself.

He also noticed that her uniform was familiar and it was the uniform of the nearby all girls school.

"Shhh," she shushed something on her widely opened bag, it seemed to be a pet carrier.

Aone, this time, had his eyes glued on her completely. She picked up her bag and a small kitten revealed itself, letting out a soft meow. She ruffled the messy fur on the kitten's head and the kitten then looked at Aone.

She noticed Aone's gaze on the small animal and chuckled. "Would you, would you like to pet her?"

Aone, already flustered, nodded and smiled. He reached out his hand to the kitten and pet it. "D-does she have a name?"

"No, not yet, she's a stray but I tried to treat her to a vet."

"Ah, I see," Aone said with his lips slightly curving upward. She smiled back and the kitten meowed again.

Two stops after, she realized that it was time to leave. She pat the kitten's head and fixed its position in the bag, to make sure she's safe and sound in the bag.

She bowed at him and quickly raised her head. She tried to smile at him, with her lips curving upwards in an awkward but quite adorable way for Aone. Aone felt his heart beat a little faster, a little stranger.

She left him in awe and Aone couldn't help but think of her all the way home. What a pretty stranger, he thought.

Meanwhile, she started walking to her mother's pet clinic for the kitten. It wasn't a long walk from the station, which was good, since it seemed like it was going to rain. She wondered if the stranger a while ago had an umbrella. She started to be more curious and she had a small spark of hope that he'd take the same train as her tomorrow.

She entered the clinic and saw Miss Mina, the clinic trainee, in the front desk.

"Ah, there you are, is that the stray you told us about?" Mina asked.

"Yes, I also waited to see if her mom would come, but she never did. So here, I took her here," she told her as she knelt down, opened the bag and let the kitten come out.

She pet it for a while until Mina eventually picked it up.

"You can't just pick up strays and treat them here, you know that, right?" Mina reminded.

"I know, but this kitten has been around for a week and I felt bad, like, really bad. I was the only one feeding her."

"Alright, alright," Mina said while she observed the kitten.

"By the way, did you watch Date Tech's game? It was amusing to watch," Mina continued.

"Date Tech? The school near mine? That one?" she clarified.

"Yep, they're so tall, one of them reminded me of you, actually."

"How come?" she asked, it got her curiosity.

"Light-colored hair, tall and scary."

"I'm not scary," she defended.

"Your classmates think you are. All the kids here think you are. No offense, really."

"Do you think I'm scary?" she asked, now in the lower, hushed tone.

"When I first came here, yeah, definitely. But you're really nice."

"Huh, okay."

"You just need people who'd take the time to know you," Mina added.

The next morning, Yuko rode the train alone again. It was crowded since it was morning and she didn't have to worry about people not wanting to sit beside her nor people who'd purposefully avoid her.

She also saw the girls from her class who take the same train every day but they also never bother to talk to her. Rather than putting the blame on her intimidating aura, she always thought of it as a mean act- the fact that no one wanted to talk to her.

Not long after, she arrived at her stop and left the train, along with the other girls. She noticed them murmuring and she felt even more uneasy. They seem to be talking about her. Girls can be so mean to other girls sometimes, she thought to herself.

"Creepy," Yuko heard.

And suddenly, in a glass reflection, she was surprised to see a familiar figure walking a few steps behind her. It was the boy from yesterday.

Yuko realized that Aone must have taken the same train as her and she felt quite happy, it was strange.

"Good morning," he greeted which surprised the girls.

Aone looked at them and he also must have noticed that they were gossiping about Yuko. Even without saying a word, the girls felt chills behind their spine with his glare. Yuko also saw it and the girls changed their direction.
