But you often stole his things. Verbalizing needs was always difficult for you. It was why your needs often went unmet. Affection hadn’t been present at home. Your mother had been distant, and had not been affectionate taking care of ten kids, and your father hadn’t been in the picture.

But you were hungry for Billy’s affection and attention. You wanted him to yourself. You didn’t want to share.

Your cheeks warmed as you looked down, fidgeting. “It smells like you.” You said, pulling it around your face and inhaling his scent, eyes fluttering. “Like vanilla and oak.”

Toji stood awkwardly before Sola, still reeling from the shock of winning the contest. Sola's bright smile put him at ease, though, as she greeted him warmly.

"It’s Toji, right? I can't believe you won the contest! You really went all out," she exclaimed, her eyes sparkling with genuine excitement. Toji shifted uncomfortably, not used to being the center of attention from such a pretty and sexy female. "Yeah, it's... uh, unexpected, to say the least. I mean, I just did what I could," he replied modestly, scratching the back of his neck.

She chuckled, shaking her head in amusement. "Well, you definitely did something right. You were the top donor by a long shot," she pointed out, admiration in her voice. Toji shrugged, still processing the surreal turn of events. "I guess luck was on my side for once," he admitted with a sheepish grin.

With a sigh, he realized that if he wanted to make a good impression to her and everyone else, he needed to change—starting with his wardrobe and perhaps even his hairstyle. Letting out a big sigh, he turned to Sola, clearing his throat nervously.

"Sola, I've thought about it," he began, his voice tentative. "I could really use your help with something."

She turned to him, curiosity flickering in her eyes. "Of course, Toji. What could I do to help you?"

Toji hesitated, feeling a flush of embarrassment creeping up his neck. "Well, it's just... I've been feeling like I need a change lately. You know, a new look. My clothes, my hairstyle... they're all a bit... outdated."

"Toji, look around. They have everything we need to give you a fresh new look," she exclaimed, her enthusiasm infectious. Toji couldn't help but smile at her eagerness, feeling a surge of gratitude for her unwavering support.

"Well, in that case, the only thing I really need is you," he joked, a mischievous glint in his eye. A flush of pink crept into Sola's cheeks as she stifled a giggle, her laughter ringing out like music in the air.

"You charmer" she teased, swatting playfully at his arm. "Come on, let's find you something that'll make you look like a whole new man."she said while dragging his arm closer to the rack of clothing.

"Darling, we simply cannot let you roam around looking like a scruffy stray," she teased, her voice dripping flirateously. "I must take you to the nearest hair salon. Trust me, I know the hairstylist. He will work wonders on you! Your hair is positively crying out to be redone!"

Delayed Summon or Delayed Wish AU

You guys ever think about what would have happened if Nene decided not to summon Hanako for a wish and ended up meeting Kou during her attempts to get Teru to notice her?

Aoi, Nene and Kou becoming the friendship trio instead.

Aoi and Nene still becoming involved with supernaturals due to their Kanangi status and going on adventures with Kou.

Getting a deeper understanding of Aoi and Nene's friendship, what they mean to each other, why they're friends and more insight into Aoi's mind.

Her whole "I want to go far away" thing can still be a whole arc for her. I feel like this should have been explored more, this is an important issue that should be talked about more and hopefully brought back up later on by a worried Nene, Akane and Kou.

Poor Aoi, I wanna give her hug and let her know that she has a support system and people that care about her. 🥺

Can you imagine how tragic it would be to see Nene die with only Teru and the Mysteries aware of her lifespan?

Aoi and Kou keeping the lifespan problem a secret from Nene, until Kou gets Aoi to understand that Nene NEEDS to know, that this is HER life and they shouldn't be trying to make decisions FOR her.

Aoi and Kou bonding over their mutual love for Nene (albeit in different ways or maybe not who knows, aoinene lovers go nuts).

i am so curious about Berserker Hufflepuff Harry and Sunflower Trio Kills Evil Batfam im ngl

Sorry for the late response!

Berserker Hufflepuff Harry is a fun one. Basically, Harry and several other kids form a group of outcasts in the muggle world as children that protect each other from bullies and he has a pretty good support system. His default way to solve problems is to throw a punch (or a spell) now and ask questions later. His loyalty and work ethic puts him in Hufflepuff, so imagine this tiny Hufflepuff who is very willing to fight anyone who's mean to others. He has no fear and would fight god.

One of my favorite things about it is the complicated relationship he has with Slytherin house. He doesn't tolerate it when they're mean to others, but he also doesn't tolerate it when people are discriminatory towards Slytherin house. He's very firm in his conviction that the reason so many Slytherins are bullies and turn into extremists is because they're so isolated from the other houses. He's on a campaign to forcibly rehabilitate as many Slytherins as he can using the power of friendship. The Slytherins have many emotions about this. At some point I would like to write this in full.

As for the Sunflower Trio Kills Evil Batfam, that will likely never grace the eyes of anyone other than me because it's incredibly self-indulgent and embarrassing. But I would love to talk about it.

I read some dark batfam aus, and there's one where Bruce and Dick have used emotional manipulation and threats to force the other Robins to be their sex slaves. It's a pretty long series and the author has promised a happy ending, but that's taking forever and I'm impatient. (I'm not blaming the author for this at all. I haven't updated anything since 2022.)

So I'm having three of my favorite characters (Aoi, Teru, and Akane) from my exorcist!Aoi au be transported to that universe by a goddess (me) to kill Bruce and Dick and expose their crimes to the general public. It's cringy and disturbing and it brings me great joy. I will likely never share it with anyone.

Took me a bit to get to this but out I have some words to type! I had a dream that I must divulge in even if it's not even that crazy. Don't remember how it started but there were some cute details and also IT HAPPENED!!! I've been waiting so long for some of my favorite characters to come with me to dreamland so I'm so glad!! But, ahem, basically, it was one of those classic "dreams about high school even though you're no longer in high school" dreams where I was snoozing and then worried cus "RUH ROH, RAGGY" I overslept and I'm going to miss my favorite class and I'm not going to be able to hang out with my buddies and do graphic design! The class 'twas a graphic design glass, not in my actual high school back when I was in high school but a separate thing. I dunno how to describe it but I digress cus, guess who my classmates were? THE THH CAST OR AT LEAST SOME OF THEM MY BLORBOS ARE REAL!!! And like, basically, while I was having my weird panic/laying in my bed with crust on my eyes, it cut back to the class who was like, doing stuff. Talking to the teacher in my graphic design class, prepping I guess for some sort of activity week or like a spirit week for the school? I'm not sure! Feel Hopes Peak would never but also again, I digress. Main mentions were Byakuya (MY BOOOOOOI) Chihiro, Aoi, Kyoko, Makoto, Hiro and Toko was mentioned mostly cus my dream narrator chimed in like "HEY! This can't happen! Only the survivors of the THH Killing game can be in the class" which, eff you dream narrator! How dare you try and pry the blorbos away for me!! Also, two key moments I had where the teacher was describing the spirit week was Hiro teasing Kyoko, Aoi, and Makoto about something like a big brother and I have no clue what it was about. Think it involved some sort of gag title being earned in the class or something. And Kyoko and Makoto just kinda like, glanced at each other. Aoi was probably pouting in the back too though that just might be me adding more detail into this kinda undetailed, vauge dream. The 2nd key moment was fucking adorable though. Just, imagine. Chihiro and Byakuya in matching outfits with Chihiro on his shoulders like MMMMM! CHIHIRO BYAKUYA FRIENDSHIP REAL?!?!? IN MY DREAMS?!!? Holy moly! Also, I think there was some implied Naegiri as well. There's no proof of that but I felt it so it happened. Again, they locked eyes so they must kiss u_u But, yeah. That was my dream. Nothing too much happened after the big hitters. My dream self checked the time, it being 1pm and all. And I was begging my Papi to let me go get driven there cus I didn't wanna miss the spirit week and like, for some reason, I knew the first prompt even though I wasn't there. The first prompt was kinda lame too! Just like, luck and like??? Okay fictional dream advisor? Whatever you say? Then again, most of the spirit weeks I had back in high school were kinda lame too, mostly because I didn't have the materials for them like wearing beach inspired clothes. And I only really attempted to care by senior year anyway. Who knows though. Maybe, in the dream, how I figured out that there was a spirit weeks was that I was texted the information off-screen by one of my classmates. My brain wants to say Byakuya cus I'm biased but also, since most of the things I enjoy were in this dream, Naegiri, Byakuya and Chihiro hanging out... that's kinda it heheeh, I am inclined to indulge with the concept of being besties with him. Which, all of this has also got me thinking. What WOULD a Hopes Peak academy spirit week look like? Is that just an American thing or does Japan have their own thing?? Would Hopes Peak even dabble in that in which like, I don't think so? But, I feel it's an interesting thing to ask since I feel that the topic of Hopes Peak as a functioning school is fascinating. There's glimpses of the place running like a school but not a lot of stuff, the big highlights being all the tragedy tied with it. Also I hope my rambles were coherent by the way! Partially typed this while I was still a bit groggy in the morning heheh!

I also was waffling between Aoi and Miyu, which one would get Suzune and which one would get Nagare, I guess that one could go either way. I guess you could also give Saikou to Jin, but I think Ikazuchi fits him better (because of the fate that befalls Ikazuchi's wielder in Saber, yes). I haven't seen the other swords yet to decide if either of them would fit Akira or Shoichi.

And Ryoken gets Hayate because this is MY self-indulgent bullshit and he is associated with wind. To Me.

I didn't list either of the Ignis, no, because it'd just feel wrong to have them specifically wield anything not their element. Which would also be an AU that is fitting, in which case obviously it'd be

Hanako said before that a Kannagi’s soul is irresistible to a supernatural… and my first thought reading that was: does that mean Hanako also has a desire to consume Nene? Could Sumire and no.6’s fate be foreshadowing what could happen to HanaNene?

I’m sure the actual ending won’t involve Nene being consumed, Hanako loves her too much for that. But still, I’m wondering if you think he does have the desire?

Yes, I think the Far Shore arc is underlining in red ink, the reality of being a kannagi, which Hanako has been very avoidant of going into the specifics of! Yes, 100% I believe Hanako feels the same urges towards Nene-chan, as those kaii on the bus feel towards Aoi! I think Hanako is speaking from reality.

I think Amane... Hanako ... the person who is and was all of those names, is very, very repressed. I think he has always been, and is always, in life and in death, "holding something back". There are things in Amane he doesn't let out. He lies a lot. Something came out, in the shinjuu. Tsukasa knows something about Amane which no one else knows.

For fun let's think about....

When Hanako first made Nene-chan his kannagi, and knew she was due to die in a year's time, I wonder what the plan was, for her body, her soul? As his kannagi, as someone bound, is it 'his'? Would Hanako expect to get to consume Nene-chan once she crossed into the Far Shore? He says life and death "make no difference" to him... but I wonder what he expected, out of usurping this tragic girl's soul into his conscripted service. Maybe more than indifference, he actually had something to look forward to, at her death? Of course, he can't say something like that aloud ... so we don't get to know yet.

I don't think the manga would 'end' with something like that, since it would be repetitive to simply repeat history (and I think we have something to say about hope, love, wishes, new beginnings, new possibilities, rewriting the rules and imagining a reality better than what is around us or what has happened to us); and he did already 'choose' such an ending for himself + Tsukasa. He's clearly trying very hard to avoid falling into old habits with Nene-chan! Tsukasa is also clearly testing Amane, on what he wants, this time.

However, I will take issue with you saying, "he loves her too much for that". my opinion: That is the wrong way of thinking, and it's not true, said this way. We can consume people because we love them very, very, very very very very much, in this manga. Hakubo's love for Sumire is real, and beautiful, and she accepts the form his love takes-- consumption, taking her into him. I do not think Hanako loves Nene-chan more than Hakubo loved Sumire; they both are painfully in love. You are meant to find their love beautiful. I think Amane loved Tsukasa, and I think he consumed some of him (I know that will sound out of left field, but for now, try to bare with me).

I think resisting consuming someone has more to do with metaphor, symbolism, for feeling your love is destructive, dangerous, bad for someone, doomful, destroying their future, selfish & indulgent of you (as someone self-hating, as someone who feels they cannot/should not be trusted with someone's heart, or as someone with no promising future). Desire to take over someone's future, to pull them into you, possessively, needily, destructively is a deeply romantic concept; poetry is riddled with it. Humans love to express their emotions in such theatrics, it is why we invent mythos suchas the werewolf & vampire and subsequently obsessively sexualize it, take it into a representation of things like predatory or primal urges, a 'dangerous' but 'passionate' lover who 'can't hold back any longer' (basic normie harlequin romance stuff, you know?).

Amane hiding from Nene-chan the desire to consume her, holding himself back from consuming her, is part of the overall story about Amane as someone who won't ever tell you what he really wants, who won't say 'I love you", who won't ask you out; who is trying to run away from having to tell you anything too personal about himself, again and again and again. What is Amane so afraid of Nene-chan finding out?

Love MAKES Amane do CRAZY, terrible things! We all watch this. Amane doesn't "love Nene-chan too much" to NOT DO CRAZY THINGS, he LOVES HER ENOUGH TO DO ALL SORTS OF CRAZY THINGS! Trap her, kill people!!!

[coughs] anyway, don't fear the concept of consumption, and also, do not reject it. That's what I say! It is a beautiful act. Also, it's simply sexy, salacious, riddled with metaphoric meaning, a staple placeholder for sexual urges, etc etc. Every time someone wants to eat someone else, a little bit ask yourself "could this be a metaphor in some way?"

I think the reality of Hanako is, is pretty blunt, when in AUs, Hanako can just Be a Vampire That Kills Nene-chan And Killed Tsukasa..! FOR TO DRINK AND DRINK!

(He kills her in her night-gown, in bed, just like he killed Tsukasa in his nightgown, clutching his pillow and blanket as a ghost forevermore... in this AU. what does it mean....)

In the Bakeneko Ryokan, he is explicitly a creature (a Nekomata) which consumes humans, and he killed Tsukasa. In that AU, I do not see any reality Amane didn't love Tsukasa-- his beloved caretaker, who he rescued from a fire and swept away into the woods-- more likely, Amane's love, and all of his urges, simply came to a head, and... he couldn't take it, and he made Tsukasa eternally His.

Amane is ... he is just often a creature which Consumes. He holds back, he won't say anything, he hides, he jokes, and then, he bursts. This is his sex appeal.

This is part of his amazing romantic nature, which is passionate and intense.... !

Oh yeah, also, it goes both ways, actually ... in a way. Kaii are also apparently incredibly delicious to humans. I don't think it's in the same sort of 'present urge' that Mitsuba, Hanako, or the kaii on the train feel, but it is a fact of reality, that if for some reason, you indulge, you will find it amazingly wonderfully delicious. Unlike something like a vampire, consumption historically happens in all directions.... not a one-way street.

for whatever reason, in the Ryokan AU, both Amane AND Nene-chan desperately want human flesh, and Tsukasa is a human secretly ? what could it mean ? Much to think about. If one thing's for sure, every other AU will give us ways to dwell on why and when someone eats someone else.

Minoru:

Partner - Takuma

Cause of death - drowning

While hiking with his best friend, he ignored a sign saying to stay away from the cliff's edge in order to get a better picture. He stepped on a loose rock and fell into the turbulent water below.

Entry Fee - His Optimism

While in the UG, Minoru is incapable of keeping his spirits up or looking on the bright side. He considers the game already lost and every mission impossible, even after completing several missions and proving himself wrong. Still, he hangs in there for the sake of his partner.

Takuma:

Partner - Minoru

Cause of Death - same as Minoru's

Against his better judgement, he followed Minoru past the warning sign to try and bring him back. When he saw his friend fall, he lunged to grab his hand. He succeeded...only to lose his balance and be pulled over the edge himself.

Entry Fee - His Decisiveness

UG Takuma struggles to make decisions for himself, always coming up with possible courses of actions but unable to choose one. Of all the players, he's the most reliant on his partner to survive.

Their dynamic:

They're certainly a very bumbling pair at first. With Takuma unable to act and Minoru unwilling to act, they only survived day one thanks to another pair of kind players saving them. It's this near-death experience that causes Minoru to realize that Takuma almost died because of him again. From there on out, he takes the game very seriously, his desire to save Takuma overpowering the constant sense of hopelessness and dread weighing down on him. Over the course of the game, he learns to be confident in himself and his decisions. Takuma often feels sad, seeing as this Minoru is so different from the one he knew. The new confidence is nice, but he can no longer remember the last time he saw Minoru be truly excited over anything. He can tell that his friend carries around a lot of guilt about their deaths, and while he desperately wants to tell him it's not his fault—it was Takuma's own decision to go after him, as he would've rather died with him than lived knowing he didn't at least TRY to save him—but he can never decide on the best way to do it and shuts down. He'll just have to try again once they win the game.

Aoi:

Partner - Shuuji

Cause of Death - Bus Crash

During an extracurricular school trip, the bus she was on swerved to avoid a car that was driving on the wrong side of the road. While there were several survivors of the crash, Aoi wasn't one of them.

Entry Fee - Her Filter

In the UG, Aoi can't stop herself from saying whatever she's thinking and feeling. This terrifies her because she can't stand stirring up trouble, but it somehow brings her and her partner closer together.

Shuuji:

Partner - Aoi

Cause of Death - Bus Crash

As it happened, Shuuji was a chaperone on the same trip Aoi was on. The two of them had been sitting next to each other, and he'd tried to protect her during the crash. He was devastated to find her in the UG with him.

Entry Fee - his appearance

Much more like Shiki in TWEWY, he takes on the appearance of his older brother. At first, he tries to act more like his brother to sort of fill the role he feels he's been given, but eventually realizes that that's a mistake.

Their dynamic:

Things are a bit awkward at first, seeing as they died together but didn't know each other very well, and how Shuuji doesn't look like himself. Aoi's forced honesty causes a bit of friction whenever they disagree, since instead of politely suggesting another idea or even going along with Shuuji's plans despite her doubts, she'll outright say "I think that's stupid." Still, it actually helps when she says it's ridiculous for Shuuji to want to be anyone else when he's perfectly fine how he is, or when she tells him that it's not his fault that she died. + Her plan is often the better one, so it's good that she says it instead of keeping it to herself. In fact, it was her quick thinking that allowed them to save another pair of players on the first day. A lot of Shuuji's mistakes come from trying too hard to do what he thinks his brother would do, but as he spends more time with Aoi, he learns that the best way for him to survive the game is to do things his way rather than the "right" way.

2. Where do you get your fic ideas?

Honestly, just from random places. I tend to theorize a lot. But sometimes the theories border on headcanon and are kinda whack (hence my other name 'The Crack Theorist') even tho they're mostly based on actual observations. For example, my Digimon Survive Highschool gang came to me when I was wondering abt the job of Shuuji's dad - is he a doctor? A politician?

Then i remembered his dad tells Shuuji he doesnt have the 'qualities befitting a Kayama son'. So I thought well what are the opposites of Shuuji's natural qualities? Possibly strength, ruthlessness, cunning, blah blah. And the stupid area of my brain concludes that his dad works for the mafia. And thats how the Gang AU was born.

As for my non AU fics, I try to stick as close to canon as possible... but they're still centered around some headcanons.

29. What's something about your writing that your proud of?

That they're self indulgent. Ive spent a lot of time, worrying abt word count thinking that its only good if its 1000+ words every chapter.

But now, esp w/ my shorter fics, i try to just write whatever feels right for the story. To let a story end at 300 words because its what feels right to me. Sometimes I sit down to write one memo and 2000 words come out and its fantastic but Ive stopped trying to force that feeling every time I write.

(And also that I can somewhat effectively mix purple and biege prose together even tho ive never heard of those terms until recently)

Coffee Shop AU? Or maybe the florist and tattoo artist? Lol

todo  aoi  is  a  straight,  cis  man.  he  is  not  a lgbtq+.  lmao  the  man’s  an  ally!  he  doesn’t  care  what  anyone’s  type  is  so  long  as  they  can  answer  his  question:  what  type  of  __  do  you  like? also,  he  would  never  actually  call  himself  an  ally (thank god).  he  is  of  the  belief  that  people  who  say  something  about  allyship  are  wasting  too  much  time  on  talk  rather  than  doing. he  is  not  in  know  about  lgbtq+  terminology.  he’s  not  trying  to  understand  the  gays,  doesn’t  know  there’s  a  science  around  it,  he  just  accepts  the  gays  as  being  a  natural  way  of  life. would support the cause.

nobara  kugisaki  never  considered  herself  to  be  any  flavor  of  gay  until  .  .  .  she  did.  queerness  was  not  common  conversational  topic  her  hometown.  it  wasn’t  the  worst  thing  to  talk  about,  it  just  felt  distant? when  she  started  using  the  computer  more  (  &  had  access  to  a  smart  phone  ),  she  started  getting  exposed  a  bit  more  to  different  types  of  language  —  it  still  felt  distant,  like  a  part  of  city  life. that  being  said,  she’s  always  finds  herself  admiring  people  who  call  themselves  she/hers  more  so  than  anyone  else.  it  just  happens  that  way. jokingly,  she  said  that  maybe  that  tokyo  would  change  her. &  maybe  it  did.  maybe tokyo made her gay ( but maybe not. ). maybe  new  words  were  added  into  her  vocabulary,  things  that  she  could  relate  to, things that made her see things that were always there. but  the  thing  is  —-  she’s  not  much  of  one  for  labeling  things  for the sake of conversation with other  people.  so. she  doesn’t  really  talk  about  it  to  other  people.  if  they  figure  something  out  ?  then  they  can  take  that  up  with  her. she'll take questions! but  nobara’s  business  is  hers  alone.

Mod Merry

Beach

This was a prompt from last year which made it to the semi-finals of my selections so I figured it could be used. Thank you to the Anon from last year who suggested it!

Ideas: A day out on the beach and all the fun that comes with it. Or perhaps a merperson romance AU? Do anything ships that remind you of the beach come to mind? Seasideshipping (Aoi/Kiku/Miyu) is an example that comes to mind but there's likely plenty more characters who would be totally interested in hitting the sun and sand.

Snow

Chosen to complement "beach" for those of us who may be in colder weather during the prompt fill period just before posting. So from one extreme to another.

Ideas: For ZeXal enjoyers, this prompt has Kamishiro Rio's name written all over it (and that's intentional lol). Snowbirdshipping, Snowanimalshipping, there's plenty of Rio to go around and other snowy themed girls, too, like Olga from Arc V or Asuka when she was in her Society of Light era. For some scenarios, however, think about snowballs fights or drinking some hot cocoa by the fire. Or maybe some hypothermic whump might be just what the doctor ordered. Or maybe the fairy tale Snow White is ripe for your picking.

Alternatively, if you are looking to superload your event/prompt fills quota, as is allowed with the event rules, snow is an elligible fill for the 100ships challenge (on dreamwidth) if that sounds up your alley.

Sharing a Bed

This is one of the mod's favourite tropes. Its versatile and dependable, a staple of the shipping scene and so it just had to be included.

Ideas: Do you think any of the Academia girls ever shared a bed? Or maybe someone had a nightmare and needs cuddles after. Or maybe the mutual pining is just too intense when there's only one bed left at the hotel. Smutty interpretations welcome as well.

Sharing Food

Contrasting doesn't always have to be stark! I was thinking about what else could be shared aside from personal space and food came to mind almost straight away. Food is a lovely way to show you care.

Ideas: Do you think any of the XYZ decadents had to share food to survive? Or is there a character you just knows bakes the best homemade biscuits/cookies and could use that as a conduit to express a confession of a crush/love?

Routine

Ideas: Tell me about your ship's domesticity. Who struggles to get out of bed first thing in the morning? What do they eat for breakfast? Who reads the newspaper first? Or maybe routine more like a dance routine, a comedy routine, or something else entirely. Like does someone care wayyyyy too much about their hair care routine and gets into early relationship post-honeymoon phase scuffles about it, perhaps?

Unexpected

What happens when there's a sudden change to the dull, rote, and, well, routine? The unexpected of course. This was an obvious contrast in my mind that can hopefully provide some rising tension for your stories.

Ideas: A sudden death in the family. Elopement decided on the outcome of a card game. There are many ways to take the routine and break it (maybe even breaking a leg or two in the process). Did the proposal come as a surprise? Or maybe this could be a good day to break out some really eclectic, never met before, crossover pairings. Show me something very unexpected in character/ship chemistry hahaha

Sparkle & Shine

A prompt leftover from last year was - Glitter - and it made it very close to the final selections but I chose different prompts in lieu so again, it just felt right to at least use it as inspiration. Also because I misremembered the submission as Sparkle before double checking to see it was Glitter. My apologies Anon but you are here in spirit. I personally thought "Sparkle & Shine" rolled off the tongue better than Glitter alone and wanted some multi-word prompts to spice things up as well. And so Sparkle & Shine was ultimately selected.

Ideas: Sparkleshipping(Kisara/Mana)!! The prompt is practically named for them though I felt it was applicable to a few other ships, too. Alternatively, Glittershipping (Anzu/Kisara) given that "Glitter" was the original inspiration for this prompt. Give those girls some love if you are a DM enjoyer especially, I say. Or maybe a magical girl AU? Or maybe you want to delve into some meta behind why Lustershipping was chosen for Masumi/Yuzu. Or talk about the way Character A admires Character B's prowess in everything she does.

Murky & Unclear

Selected to complement Sparkle & Shine. Again, I chose it because I wanted a multi-word prompt to pair with its contrasting Day 4 prompt and

Could be a tricky prompt so good luck to anyone drawn to it but some ideas I had in mind included angsty tragedy fic or witchy AU's.

Before the Beginning

Basically a fancy way of saying "Pre-Canon". Was selected in mind with trying to parallel the original 2022 prompt set's ending prompts without just being a free-for-all free day in name.

Ideas: Are you absolutely convinced that even though these two female characters who have never met are exes with a viscious past? Yeah, me too. My personal ones are Ema/Queen, Asuka/Grace, Asuka/Gloria, and Himika/Yoko but maybe you have an entirely different relationship derailment in mind. Or maybe you want to explore how two girls who are friends in canon met and became friends (with a little inkling that maybe this friendship could become romance tinged with enough time)

After the End

And what pairs best with pre-canon? Why Post-Canon of course!

Ideas: Are there any loose ends that bother you? Here could be the perfect time and place to tie them up. Do you think the Bracelet Girls ever split from Yuzu again? What about Aqua returning to Aoi and/or Miyu? Or maybe you just think Characters A and B ride off into the sunset and get married ten or twenty or however many years down the line after the final credits rolled.

➳Sonia probably lives in the Blue Palace like the princess she is

➳Kazuichi lives in Dragon Bridge and regularly visits the Blue Palace to see Sonia and he also regularly visits an abandoned Dwemer ruin for it's mechanical parts

➳Akane is an adventurer with Nekomaru who travel and go inn-hoping a lot OR Akane and Nekomaru could both be in the Companions and go on missions all the time (the inn-hoping still applies)

➳Twogami is an imposter impersonating Byakuya who goes into every town and city to actually help people instead of whatever Byakuya actually does

➳Teruteru is a famous chef who competes with The Gourmet over who's the better chef (It's Teruteru-)

➳Nagito could be a simple farmer or citizen who keeps getting into wacky adventures from his luck (maybe his luck pulls Hajime into their adventures as well?)

➳Chiaki could maybe be a mage at the College of Winterhold? Maybe? Maybe she sometimes misses her lessons because she fell asleep?

➳Shuichi could be an adventurer who looks up to Kyoko? Maybe-?

➳Maki definitely is an assassin in the Dark Brotherhood

➳Himiko definitely is a mage in the College of Winterhold

➳Rantaro is definitely an adventurer who travels around Skyrim a lot

➳Kaede could be a bard at the Bards College

➳Ryoma could've fucked with a group of bandits who got their revenge (like in his backstory) and he slaughtered them all then gets sent to one of the jails (even though they were bandits they could've been impersonating citizens are the guards feel for it? Maybe? I don't want to say he fucked with the Thieves Guild because then he would've had to slaughter them instead-)

➳Kirumi could be the maid for Sonia or Byakuya

➳Angie could be a priestess in one of the cities (perhaps Riften and her God is Lady Mara?)

➳Tenko could've been a strong adventurer who only helps out women in need and mets Himiko one day and decided to stay with her at the College and "protect her from the degenerate males" Maybe?

➳Korekiyo could be a historian who travels from place to place to study more on the history and culture of whoever lives their and maybe also adventures into ruins to study more?

➳Miu I'm not entirely sure yet but maybe she's an adventurer who explores Dwemer ruins for its mechanical parts?

➳Gonta could be living in the forest and takes care of the bugs like a gentle giant

➳Kokichi could be apart of the Thieves Guild and also pranks the citizens of Riften? He'll be like the Cicero of the Thieves Guild

➳Kaito could be an adventurer who enjoys stargazing at night and studying the moons and planets and stars

this just went in my mind but...

some of the d4dj girls game preferences!

(this is so self-indulgent but i just cant get this off my mind)

saori: im a hundred percent sure saori is a tekken and street fighter player. girl knows her match ups and jargon, is amazingly good at both games, and (SUPER) good w footsies. idk who she would main in tekken but for streets she has third strike and mains remy i know it.

shinobu: (i dont play first person shooters so im just going w fighting games here lol) she looks like she would play guilty gear bc of the music and also like. ngl i think she would play happy chaos. (he has a gun and goes pew pew, also from what i hear his gameplay is kinda like a fps so yeah)

aoi: she is a visual novel and card game girl. she played zero escape, ai the somnium files, and ace attorney. she, in-universe, plays vanguard and i know damn well her first card game was pokemon, if not yugi-oh.

nagisa: she totally plays... like. turbo dismount-ish games. idk how to explain or what the genre is called but yeah. those. (she also plays guitar hero and gg w shinobu somtimes. she mains baiken btw)

dalia: she plays third strike w saori bc wow karate like like the thing she used to do and she thinks it's pretty fun, she's a super casual player, like, she doesnt mash buttons but she wouldnt try to practice combos. (she mains chun-li and ryu bc they're kinda simple, ryu especially.)

miiko: fnaf and them's fightin' herds. (idk who she would main in the pony fighting game tho, it's been forever since i played it.)

noa: she looks like she would play idol games and dating sims w girls like ddlc for the cute characters. she always, ALWAYS does a 100% playthrough of all the routes in dating sims, even the bad ending ones.

rinku: animal crossing and any games w creatures tbh. she collected all the bugs in animal crossing bc she just can.

ibuki: exercise games. yeah that's it lol sorry girlie...

rei: she has piano tiles on her phone and a couple other rhythm games bc she has preddy good rhythm from what muni said in the anime

haruna: i havent read the lyrical's story yet but haruna looks like she would play those cleaning games u know the ones that r supposed to help u relax? those.

kyoko: she just plays whatever game shinobu plays. fighting games? sure. first person shooters? that's alright. rhythm games? sure it has some cool songs. gacha games? pls stop wasting your money.
