I was gonna pick different Digimon partners for these two so as not to be cliche but I actually think this fits them. And them being Jogress partners would be so funny.

Takemichi's Agumon goes thru the Greymon line to get Omegamon.

Baji’s Gabumon also goes thru the Garurumon line to get Omegamon. BUT I figure he's more like Wanyamon as a baby.

Month in Review

September

I don't think I put September in a proper goal so I'm just gonna wing this one.

So yeah I didn't really do much in Sep but I asked my friend if she could teach me to make stickers. Since then I've been making my own stickers.

Putting these in my shop soon. It's mostly One Piece for now but I'm making some Digimon stickers too.

I think I drew a whole bunch of stuff for Armageddon Expo. And then my little sister got our prints done.

We also got to the 1000th episode of One Piece lol

October

More preparation for Expo. I started printing and cutting my stickers.

And then I got some commissions! 💪💪💪💪💪

Bridal shower!!!

Engagement party!!!!!

My friend got engaged which would make hers the 5th wedding in a row. We were so busy, holy moly.

Expo!!!!!!!!!

The Expo was only for 3 days but I felt so pumped. I was tired at the end of every day but it was so much fun. I used the pay in person function of the Big Cartel app and I was looking at how much we made and got emotional lol. I'd never (never never never) looked forward to my first paymout before even though we were making less than what I make at my office job lol. (Don't worry, we broke even).

And now I've been trying to get some product photos for my shop to sell leftovers and new art.

August in Review

I realise I've been avoiding doing an August in Review but here we go.

Nothing too artsy happened in early August. I did draw this trying-to-be Pirates of the Caribbean-esque timeskip Nami (which I've now decided to colour in pencil).

We stayed in Melbourne until about a week after my brother in law's funeral. My little sister and I had a trip planned that month that we were going to cancel. We invited my sister to come with us - we told her, if we're just gonna be sad here, we might as well be sad in South Island (NZ). She considered it (in the end she didn't go with us).

We went home. My cat whom I hadn't seen in a month slept in my room and cuddled with me. We only stayed at our house for about 4 days before we had to fly again.

We went to visit some friends and just did a whole lot of drawing. We wandered around the main city first (it was Christchurch and we were wandering around were i7 had The Policy MV 😆).

And then we found a Warehouse Stationery and bought some canvasses & paintbrushes for my sister and a sketch book and 2 brown graphic markers on sale for me. Oh and I brought my portable watercolor with me. I tried doing watercolor again but I don't have a gentle or steady hand so I think I'm more suited to other styles of drawing 😭.

Went to Mt Sunday aka Edoras 🎉

The whole place is surrounded by mountains. It was so beautiful. I started writing a poem.

We went to the Asburton Art Gallery. It was quite small but the pieces there were really great (and whoever did the art descriptions was so funny). And then later we went to the Christchurch Art Gallery. It was so good. The art felt personal to the artists and to the city itself since the artists were from the area.

Anyway, this was a pretty long one since so many things happened. We went back to Auckland and did absolutely nothing for the rest of the month.

My gym is definitely just like slightly flooded with barely any lighting and a bunch of fog machines. If people aren't there, I just lay around. And if people aren't there, I'm still just laying around, you are actually fighting ditto pretending to be me because I'm lazy and no no wanna :DD

Just came back from the last day of a 4 day anime convention... we were manning a stall and had a really good weekend. I was hyped to do a summary of events cause I had a lot of fun AND I HAVE THINGS TO TELL YOU OMG

But now I'm feeling really sad??

Im glad it's over but I think I mightve been on a high and now that's gone and I'm just feeling sad and tired.

Anyway, all that to say I'm gonna get some rest and try to regroup. I'm planning to open a big cartel store to sell my stickers which I was excited about until 5 minutes ago lol. But I'll be doing that when I feel better.

Clearing up my phone and found these. Something something about the ability to show kindness to everyone but ourselves.

Time stamp on this says 2022 - it's when Kaito was feeling like he was a bad older brother.

And then 2024, I replayed the game for like an hour just to find this line bc I know Shuuji says it to Takuma as well.

Bro can't read the room but the first thing he does is try to reassure them.

One of my favourite things in media is when a character describes another character. And a few times in the game Takuma (and I think Aoi??) describes him as kind, patient, etc can't remember the exact words.

Obv that kindness rapidly dwindles during the game but IT'S STILL THERE all tattered and in pieces.

And then when Takuma post part 5 looks at him being soft and making GOOD DECISIONS and effectively says "that's the Shuuji I remember" I'm crying on my knees

TLDR; I was actively looking for moments like these bc I was like 'the soft spoken boy we met earlier in the game is disappearing' and then he'd say stuff like this.
