Sometimes home was two eyes and a heart beat. Or at least that’s what home felt like to you and Tyler. It was the night before the boys went on the Clancy world tour. There was a lot to mentally prepare for. The silence, the absence of a loved one, having to only cook dinner for one, and nightly calls.

You and Tyler decided to just stay home and watch a movie instead of going out somewhere. He suggested that it felt better spending one on one time with you rather than to spend time with you in public. Plus, how can you say no to him?

you found yourself in the kitchen microwaving popcorn as your beloved, Tyler was in the shared bathroom winding down a me getting ready for the night. He walked out humming a tune of one of the bands songs. Tear in my heart to be exact. You chuckled as you recognized the tune. The microwave made a sound that indicated that it was ready. You took the popcorn out and dumped it into a large plastic sharing bowl.

Tyler went to get water and melted some butter in the microwave. “What movie are you thinking of watching?” Asked the brunette bundle of joy. “I don’t know, maybe the Barbie movie?” You responded with. Tyler didn’t mind what movie you wanted to watch, as long as he was there with you in his arms, everything was perfect to him.

You found yourself snuggled underneath the blankets of your bed as Tyler turned in the TV in your shared bedroom. As he waited for the movie to load he looked back at your head barely peeking through the bundles of blankets. He laughed softly “Getting comfy?” He asked and you jokingly rolled your eyes “Just waiting.” You stated as Tyler set the cup of water on the night stand on your side of the bed and setting the popcorn in the middle of you two.

As the movie went on so did the disappearance of the popcorn. The popcorn didn’t last long anyways. Once the bowl was empty and only had unpopped kernels left, Tyler moved it away from the middle of the bed and placed it on his night stand before returning his attention to you. The way your hair easily flowed against the pillows and sheets made him smile.

He laid down next to you and looked over at you. You were focused on the movie obviously. Tyler couldn’t help but wrap an arm around you. Soon enough you two only had eyes for eachother and not the movie. You were facing Tyler snuggled up against his chest. Tyler had and arm draped over your upper waist and his right leg over yours. It was safe to say he basically encapsulated you.

“Gonna miss you so much..” he said in that sleepy tone of his. You smiled against him “Me too.” You two shared a moment of silence before Tyler spoke up again “You better answer when I call you every night” he said with a slight smile. “I will.” You responded. You returned your eyes to the movie for a moment. To be honest you haven’t been paying attention to the story line all too much. “Us” you said as the screen showed Barbie and Ken. Tyler’s eyes darted ti the TV screen then back at you “I guess I can see it.” He said before kissing you on the forehead.

in response you let one of your arms wrap around his neck to play and tangle your fingers in his hair. He held you closer. Eventually you two forgot about the movie and were focused on you two only. Tyler’s breathing matched up with yours as you two shared a content silence. As the night went on, you two fell asleep knowing that in the morning only on of you would still be home.
