I feel like. The majority of the Androids won’t have compatible parts of you know where I mean. There’s like. Literally nothing down there. Like a Barbie. And maybe. There’s an Android that ends up with Engineer that can get into her online stuff (computer, relevant accounts, etc) to order relevant parts. Maybe someone who can hack(?) if they know how to because it’s their original job before ending up with Engineer. But I don’t think we need to even go that far because it probably would be relatively easy to get Engineers password to her stuff from even just peaking over her shoulder (because Engineer doesn’t care enough that they’re looking, she doesn’t know this particular Android is self-aware, or both).

Cause I feel like, as an android engineer, she would have places to get parts from in cases where she needs to replace damaged ones.

And maybe she tends to always have lots of new parts coming in/ordered, she might not even notice the stuff the Androids snuck in to her next order.

Maybe a couple of Androids tend to help her sort through new shipments and put stuff away (cause there’s a lot) so they’re able to make off with their sneaky order without Engineer knowing.

It would be funny if they could figure out how to install the parts themselves (I’m sure there are online guides/how-to’s SOMEWHERE they can follow cause there’s no way there isn’t) (and maybe Engineer has an Android who’s job is also within the engineering realm so that makes things easier) but… it would be funnier if it’s harder than it looks cause Engineer makes fixing up the Androids seem easy.

Maybe they struggle with figuring out which tool would work for each one of them. Maybe there’s a specific tool/equipment that they need to use that Engineer would DEFINITELY notice them using and it’s not like. A small wrench they can make off with for a couple of hours.

It would be funny if they ordered the obvious parts but didn’t order the things that would actually make those parts attach properly (screws, etc. I’m not an engineer. I’m just yapping over here) or something. It would be funny if what they did order wouldn’t even work anyways without serious modifications to their current model (which basically means there’s better pieces that’ll go to how they already are. They don’t actually have to make huge adjustments. They ordered a size small shirt when they’re extra large, if that makes sense).

When Engineer inevitably finds them with their pants down (literally, mind you), surrounded by just a mess of parts and tools she’s like “what are you doing”

A: “Um-“

E: “Those won’t work.”

A: “What do you mean they won’t-“

E: “Those parts don’t even install correctly for your specific models.”

A: “Eh?”

Engineer isn’t even questioning about the… specifics of the part functions (right now, anyways. Once she’s out of ‘Engineer mode’, her brain will catch up to what she’s seen) but more of the installation.

Cue Engineer ordering the actually right parts and installing them herself. Face straight while doing it cause she’s in engineer mode and Not Thinking About It.

This is 100% a “and this is why we leave the installation and maintenance work to me” situation. It’s kinda like androids: no thoughts, head empty, engineer: the smart one (until the Androids get their hands on her. then it reverses).

Don’t bother figuring out who’s the girlfailure in this AU, Angey. Cause it’s all of them.

WOWIE. This is a very detailed and long ask, I’m pretty impressed :0

Anywho, it’s hilarious that the Android women want to fuck the Engineer so bad, they order additional “parts” (mechanical penises and vaginas) off the Engineer’s card and try to assemble it themself to surprise her. 😭😭

Unfortunately for many of them however, many of them lack the expertise in Android engineering, as they have no clue how to attach said parts to themselves without complicating things further. The only Android I can think of that would be pretty good at assembling their own parts, would be Serval. So now I’m imagining Android! Serval trying to teach and direct all the Android women on how to attach their new genitals, so they can surprise the Engineer when she gets home.

Well, things don’t go as planned because once the Engineer comes home, she just sees the Android HSR women sitting on the floor and various counter tops with their pants off, different mechanical parts scattered across the room with only Serval having successfully implemented her mechanical genitals on her own. The Engineer then proceeds to attach each and every woman’s parts correctly, and walk them through on how to do it if they wish to swap out in the future for something else.

She’s not even embarrassed because she’s entered “work mode” while attaching everyone’s parts, so the gravity of the situation doesn’t hit her until she gets in bed that night. And that’s when she realizes; “Oh my god. My Androids are planning to fuck me.”

I applaud the Engineer’s dedication to her craft, though 😅

We've hit the stage of Echoes of Evalas' creation that I'm spending a lot of my quiet time with scenes and characters, including time that is usually occupied by...well, nothing creative. At least, it hasn't been creative time in a long while.

Some of the dearest and most important moments of my young creative daydreaming was before bed. If I might overshare, it was specifically as I lay in bed and tried to drown out unpleasantness I'd hear from other rooms of the house. I'll spare you the details.

I didn't even have music at the time, though in later years as I became a depressed teen, I'd throw some music on my computer to fantasize and fall asleep to.

Oftentimes, these stories and characters I'd contemplate were favorites from various things I enjoyed. In time they'd adapt and evolve into something of my own, in worlds and stories of my own making.

Sometimes it wasn't so grand. There were no sweeping narratives or adventures. Just some self insert character being comforted by a friend or a lover.

Recent nights, I've thrown on my EoE playlist and let my mind wander. I haven't really done that in a long time. Haven't had the need to these days. I'm not running from much. Life is quiet. But as I start to turn over more stones and find what's beneath some of the characters and themes I'm exploring, I've found myself here again.

I don't know if anyone will love what I am making, and I never have. Every person who has let my characters and stories into their hearts means a whole lot to me, though. I've not forgotten when all of this was nothing more than a comfort to myself to soothe away all my fear and loneliness.

As it all starts to come together I'm seeing a stark difference between where I am at as a writer and creative in general in comparison to BitterSweet Chapter 1, as I've revisited it recently.

The pieces were there but it's so clear to me that I didn't have the conviction that I do now. I didn't have the comfort or security of knowing that I can take chances and be bold. I thought I had to color within the lines, and lacked the confidence to really let it rip.

So as much as I've been looking forward, I've also looked back. Further back than I typically like to.

When Charlie said he never thought he'd be this old, that was real shit man. I was a morbid kid. I have a crystal clear memory of being on a school bus in Washington state. Blink 182 just dropped an album. I hate Blink 182, but I listened with a friend whose face I can barely remember. As the high schoolers got on the bus I remember thinking...damn, I'll never be that old.

Not sure what could possess a child to feel that way. Or how that feeling could linger for years. It took a long time to find enough faith in myself to live. Now that I've got it, I think I'm encouraged to give breath to those lost dreams and wandering fantasies. Echoes of Evalas is an exploration of that.

I can't even grasp what that really means yet.

Things like faith, anger, insecurity, and longing for change. I've rattled a lot of locked doors while digging up this story and putting it together.

I am uneasy. That's probably how I've ended up writing this essay in bed, and boy is it a rambling one.

There was a point somewhere. I am excited for what's to come, but uneasy. Not out of fear that anyone will like it or content brained thinking like that. More like...a reverence for this magical thing I've found. Storytelling is magical for me. And that's not me waxing poetic, I think there's something terrifying and beautiful about it. It is the thing I was made to do, and the actual experience of crafting a story like this isn't just fun. I'm removing chains from my soul.

If that ain't magic, I don't know what is.

Peter Parker x Reader

Summary: Mar threatens Peter, Peter apologizes, kind of, and then Peter ambushes you with a blind date.

Please ignore typos or I'll cry <3.

Mar did in fact have an ‘I told you so’ moment. 

Lucky for you, she didn’t rub it in your face for too long. After hearing about your interaction with Charlotte, it’s safe to say Peter Parker is no longer enemy number one. 

Mar is now afraid to leave you alone, scared that you’ll be bullied again, and has insisted on the buddy system. 

You are now walking through the dining hall, with a yapping Mar behind you. 

“What am I going to do with you? I have to leave for work but you’ll still be here for revising.” Mar says with a pout. You can't help but roll your eyes at her. 

“Mar, I love you, so I say this with love and kindness, but I really need you to leave me alone.” 

Mar gasps in shock, “That is not love and kindness. That is hate and meanness, but I’ll let it slide because you're in a crummy mood.” 

You would deny that you’re in a crummy mood but you’d be lying. You and Peter decided over a very dry email thread that you’d meet up to work on revising the outline. You had told him that it was mostly your part that needed work and there was no point in meeting but he insisted until you agreed. 

You continue to bicker with Mar, when she suddenly yanks on your backpack, halting your walking. 

“Omg, do not be alarmed but there is an absolute cutie staring at us from the smoothie line.”

You turn your head to try and see who she's talking about but realize who it is soon enough. 

You both make eye contact and you dart your eyes anywhere else that isn't on him. 

Mar gives you a “subtle” shake. “He waved, oh my gosh he just jumped out of the line.”

You still refuse to look. “Mar can we go please?” 

She grabs your shoulders, not letting you move. “Um no way, he’s coming over here.” 

Before you know it, Peter is standing in front of the both of you with a sheepish smile. Still oblivious to who he is, Mar flutters her lashes in the most Mar manner. 

Peter’s got his eyes on you though. “Hey, didn’t think I’d see you till later.” 

You can feel Mar’s eyes burning a hole into your head so you speak up. “Mar, this is that guy from the Cal project.” you could’ve properly introduced him but you're too petty to care. 

Mar immediately loses all excitement. “Oh, that guy.” Peter scowls. Too bad.

You nod, “yeah, that guy.” Mar comes around from behind you and links her arm with yours, looking Peter right in the eye. “I’ve got to get to work, but if I get any sort of text message from her about you, I will be here so quick you won’t even see me coming.” 

All Peter can do is nod his head. 

She turns to look at you with a sweet smile, “Anywho, I will see you later. Please remember to shut the window if you get home before me.” you nod your head dramatically, tired of hearing about the damn window. “Yes yes, I’ll close it.” 

Mar gives you a once-over before finally saying bye and glaring at Peter while she walks away. 

Peter lightly shivers, “Okay, so I’m assuming she doesn't like me?”

You nod, “Assumption correct.” 

There’s an awkward pause.

“Would you believe me if I told you I was in line to get you an apology smoothie?”

You shoot him a look. “No, I wouldn't believe you.”

Peter sucks in a breath, “valid, I was though. But then I saw you and acted before thinking and I didn't even get to order.”

That’s kind of sweet but you are losing it with his back-and-forth behavior. Time to listen to Mar and put your foot down.

“Look, since we're both free can we just get the revision over with?”

Peter, a bit stunned by your bluntness, just nods. 

“Okay then.” you clap your hands, “ let's go somewhere quieter.” 

Peter trails behind you, as you look for somewhere to hunker down. You occasionally look behind to see if he’s still there. When you look, you see his eyes searching all over the place. You know better than to assume but you can’t help but think he’s making sure there's no one he knows.

You finally find a quiet corner table and decide that’ll do. You plop yourself down in one of the seats and Peter does the same. 

You set your backpack on the table and pull out the outline Cal handed back to you. You slide across the table over to Peter. 

The more Peter reads, the deeper his frown gets.

With one more look over he tosses it on the table. “What the hell is up with this dude?” you assume he means Cal. 

“What? Not a fan of Cal’s critiques?” you reply sarcastically. Peter scoffs and reads the paper again. “No, our outline may not have been perfect but it was damn near it.” 

You're kind of grateful that someone is finally understanding what you meant about Cal.

You try to lighten the mood. “What are you talking about, Cal barely left any responses on your part, you should be proud.” 

Peter deadpans. 

“Nothing to be excited about if he’s gonna be critiquing us like this.” He reads it over and over again, “man you weren't lying when you said he didn’t like you.” 

You want to laugh but you're quick to remember what his friends had said about you. 

You get defensive, “Yeah well if that’s going to be an issue then you're more than welcome to request someone else.” 

You're messing with your nails when you hear Peter sigh. “I fear there's some animosity between us.”

You cross your arms and lean back in your chair. “Oh really now?” 

Peter leans forward. “I owe you an apology. No smoothie but an actual apology.” 

“I’m listening.” 

Peter fidgets with his hands, “look, those guys can be-”

“Assholes?”

“Yeah, that.” he sighs again, clearly troubled. “I met them a while back and we’ve been hanging ever since. They’re not the best but they're my friends, I guess.” 

“That” you pause, “wasn't an apology.” 

Peter nods frantically “Agreed. Okay , I really am sorry for the way they were. I should've jumped in and said something. Also, I'm sorry I told them about you and Cal.”

You sit up in your chair. “It’s fine I guess. I just don’t get why you’d want to hang out with people like that but to each their own.” you should’ve left it as “its fine'' but you really dont get why Peter is friends with them. 

“Hey, they're my friends and that's that, I don’t think I should have to explain anymore than that, I'm apologizing and that's what matters right?”

Okayy, so friends is a touchy subject, noted. 

“Okay yeah, fine, whatever.” you don't feel any better than before he apologized. If anything, you feel worse.

Peter clears his throat. “Okay, that's settled then.”

There's a hesitation between the both of you. You both go to speak and both topple your sentences over one another. Peter just points at you to go first. 

“So” you say, dragging the O. “Cal wants the revision by Friday. You can mark this copy up and I’ll just add onto the doc.”

Peter scratches his chin, while staring at the paper. “What's there to add? I meant it when I said I thought it was near perfect.” 

You sigh, “I don’t know Peter. I usually just follow Cals red mark ups and call it day.”

Peter doesn’t agree. “Well I don't wanna do that. I like what we have.” 

You stare at him, eyes wide. “You mean like not to revise at all?” Peter nods. You let out a chuckle “you expect me to turn this back into Cal, exactly how we left it? He’s going to be mad, and i'll be the one having to deal with that.” 

Peter looks like he’s thinking. “How about” he pauses “how about I turn it in with you? we’ll tag team him.”

You give him a blank stare. “Peter”

“Yes?” 

“Are you serious?”

Peter lets out an exasperated yes. “I’ll head to your class after it ends and we can talk to him together.”

He seems serious. 

Fine by you. 

“Well, if that's all, I'm going to head out. I’ll email you my class info.”

You start to pack your things up and get ready to leave, when all of a sudden Peter jumps up. “Wait!” he’s got an arm reached out while the other goes to gather his things. 

Peter stumbles to put his things away and goes to stand with you “where, uh, where you headed?” 

“The library?” you say questionably 

Peter nods, “Cool, that's cool, I was actually headed there too.”

You eyed him suspiciously, “were you?” 

“Yeah, I was. Wanna go together?”

Peter’s sudden odd behavior is throwing you off. “ I guess.” 

“Sweet, let's go.” 

Peter takes off without you. You stare at the back of his head in confusion but follow anyway. 

You trail closely behind Peter. Every now and then you catch him turning to make sure you're still following. You come up with every scenario on why he’s acting the way that he is.

Did he see his friends in the dining hall?

Is he trying to hide from someone? 

Does he really just need to go to the library? Or

Does he actually want to hang out with you?  

You're too busy spiraling to realize that you've already made it to the library. You're about to go in when Peter stops and turns around. 

“Maybe we shouldn't go to the library.”

“What are you talking about?”

Peter shrugs, getting looks from other people trying to walk through. 

“I just feel like it’s not the place to be.”

You want to be annoyed by his behavior, but you're weirded out more than anything. “Okay? Then you go somewhere else?” 

You start opening the door but Peter yanks you to the side and pulls you both away from the entrance. “Okay, what the actual hell are you doing?” Peter is silent. “Don't want to be seen or something?” 

That gets Peter talking, “What? No it's just" he trails off.

“Just what?” 

Peter scrambles for an answer. “Don't you ever feel like studying somewhere else?” 

“No, I like the library, that's why I go.” 

You pull Peter in close, worried that something is actually wrong. 

“I dont know whats going on but you're freaking me out. I am so close to texting Mar an SOS message and trust me when I say she meant what she said earlier.” 

Peter frantically waves his arms around. “No, please don’t do that! She actually scares me!”

“Look, can you just trust me when I say the library is not the place to be?”

You look at him like he’s crazy, you think he might be. “Now why would I do that?”

Peter fidgets with his hands, “Because I have really good intuition. Now can you please go study somewhere else?” 

“I-” you genuinely have no words. 

“Um, what's going on here?”

When you look up you see Nolan, looking equally as confused.

Peter however looks relieved “Nolan! Hey man.” 

Nolan, who looks like he’s just spent an unimaginable number of hours in the library, responds. “Hey? Why are you guys huddling in a corner?” 

You think this is your way out. “Okayy, So I’m going to leave now.” You try to shuffle past Nolan but Peter stops you.

“Nolan, remember that coffee spot hidden away by the architectural building?” 

Nolan still looks just as confused “yeah?”

Peter claps “great! You should take her there. I'm trying to convince her that the library isn't the place to be, right now, at this moment.” there’s a pause. “You know, intuition” Peter stares Nolan down and after a minute his eyes widen “OH, Oh, yeah.” Nolan turns to you. “I bet you would really like this place, it seems to be up your alley.” 

Peter is pushing you away from the entrance, “Yes I totally agree.” 

Nolan is already walking down the lawn before you can even get an opinion in. 

You turn around with an annoyed look “Peter you better explain what is going on right now.” 

Peter shrinks in your stare. “Um, Nolan” He pauses, “Nolan has a crush.” he pauses again, “on you and he needed a little push to help him out.” 

You still are just as annoyed. All of this was a ploy to get you on a date with his friend? 

Considering your past couple of interactions with Peter, you wouldn't put it past him.

“Peter, I am not going on a blind date with your friend.” 

Peter exhales, “Oh come on now, Just give the poor guy a chance, I mean look at him.”

You do just that and when you spot him, you see him standing in place kicking rocks around, waiting for you. 

You close your eyes and sigh, curse your sympathetic heart. “Fine but this was so poorly executed Peter.” 

Peter gives a sympathetic smile, “Ouch, I tried okay.” 

All you offer is an eye roll. 

With one more push, Peter sends you off to catch up with Nolan. When you do, he immediately starts a conversation. You turn around to glance at Peter but all you see is him bolting past the library. 

You try not to think too much of it. Completely thrown off by Peters antics, you hope Nolan doesn’t exude the same behavior and pray the rest of your day will go on normally.

SO, Esteban and Max - a lot to unpack

Unsurprisingly, the first thing most people think about with this pair is the infamous fight they had after Brazil 2018 (excellent timing - 6 year anniversary guys 🥰)

This was prime Mad Max era. A ruined race from a back marker - no surprise he got heated. But there’s definitely a heightened tension between them.

If you watch the entire video, there’s a big difference in how they are handling the situation. Max seems more agressive with the shoving while Esteban is yapping, trying to explain himself. There are some reports that Esteban actually provoked Max, who wasn’t intending on pushing him, by saying he was faster than him. Cheeky boy 🤭 no surprise Max didn’t like that.

Max got 2 days of public service for this incident as well…

But their disagreements didn’t start here!

Max was taken from F3 to be accelerated to F1, despite Esteban winning the championship over him

He was very vocal about finding it unfair that Max was getting a chance in F1 even though he’d beaten him. This also relates to Esteban’s struggles with funding, Max easily finding support compared to him running out of money and begging Mercedes to get him in GP3

So with all this exposition, you’d expect them to be at odds right? Enemies?

Strangely enough, in the last few years, they’ve been on pretty good terms!

Now they’re both cemented in their roles, they don’t have animosity against each other. Sure they’ll have little tifs in the media, but all drivers do. Max honestly doesn’t care or think about Esteban that often but they have a few interactions that show they don’t have remaining grudges.

I personally think they are very sweet together - extremely bias as they are my faves.

But look at Estie’s little smile in these pictures 🤭

Overall I think their relationship is quite casual and calm despite their past, which is great to see!

The 12th doctor caregiver headcanons!

- He has had to cancel multiple lectures because he physically wasn't able to leave you alone for 2 hours.

- Loveeees yapping to you about his interests! Only when you're non verbal though, he's gets too embarrased when talking for so long when you're able to respond.

- He adores giving you a bunch of little kisses on the top of your head.

- He doesn’t leave you alone with Missy anymore when you regress. The last time he did so, she taught you about 20 new cursewords.

- He's too afraid to leave you on your own without anyone watching over you. That also counts for when you're sleeping, he'll just sit besides the bed, waiting for you to wake up.

- He's horrible at actually going through with punishments. Most of the time, he'll put you in the corner, look at you for a good twenty seconds and instantly decide you've been sitting there long enough.

- He attempted singing you a lullaby once but he thought it sounded horrible... and is now too embarrased to ever try singing again.

- ^ He's now learned how to play all your favourite lullabies on his guitar instead. ^

He uses a lot of innocent lies to get you to behave. Stuff like 'You know if you don't stop being naughty right now, the bogeyman's gonna come get you.'

- He always makes you hold his hand while walking out in public cause he's terrified you'll wander off without him.

- He isn't a huge fan of being called dad cause it makes him feel old. He manages to ignore that feeling for you though.

- He always carries some kind of comfort item around for you. Even when you're not around him he still always has something stuffed in his pockets.

- If you have long-ish hair he's constantly gonna want to put your hair in ponytails, braids and buns cause he thinks it makes you look absolutely adorable.

- He prefers taking care of baby regressors, just cause they're generally more quiet then older kids. Also cause he's able to hold baby regressors in his lap all the time.

What do you think about the powers of the demigods in canon? Especially those of the children of the Big Three?

I love Percy but I think Rick went a bit overboard with all the powers he gave him. Thalia and Jason are children of the king of the gods and have pretty pathetic powers, at least in my opinion.

In GENERAL, I'm pretty okay with Percy's powerset. I think healing him with water was maybe a BIT much, and it seems wildly unfair to have him be able to control ALL types of liquid. Like, sure I'll accept lakes and rivers and stuff because those would have nereids or some other kind of spirit who might have some sort of allegiance to Poseidon, but I feel like it should for sure be up to them what powers he gets and how much control he has. It's kind of hard to put a HARD limit on what his powers should be though because Poseidon has just a LAUNDRY list of titles. The talking to horses thing ABSOLUTELY has to stay, idc what other powers you take from him.

Nico and Hazel I feel are in a pretty good spot, in all honesty. I really like the fact that Nico's powers focus more on the dead whereas Hazel's focuses on the riches aspect of Hades/Pluto. I haven't read ToA or TSATS so I'm not SUPER familiar with all of Nico's powers beyond raising the dead, but his powers do seem to really overshadow Hazel's sometimes, which is a bit of a bummer. She does have her Mist skills, though, so maybe that balances it out.

Now. The REAL talking point. Thalia and Jason. While it does seem like their powers are absolutely wimpy compared to the other three Big Three kids we've seen, I don't NECESSARILY think that's a bad thing? Like, the powers demigods have are often described as gifts from their parents. Zeus... doesn't strike me as the type to be handing out gifts to his kids, and I think that would go DOUBLE for Jason. Like, not only is Jason not even really his kid anymore after he gave him to Juno, there is a bit of a... family tradition of the youngest son killing and overthrowing his dad. I highly doubt Jupiter is gonna pile his bouncing baby boy with the tools needed to kill and overthrow him. That being said, I think it would have been neat to see Jupiter give him powers that wouldn't necessarily be enough to overpower gods, such as making him extra strong or just SUPER sturdy. Jason survived getting struck by lightning? Oh, he's not immune to lightning, he's just built like that. Stuff that would give Jason the edge over most demigods so that Jupiter can brag about his son being better than everyone, but not enough to be a threat. Also, my BIGGEST gripe about Jason's powers is that he should be able to use them as easy as breathing. He doesn't even have to THINK about it. Like, number one he is JUPITER'S kid. The air is his father's domain it does what he says no questions asked. And number two he's been doing this since before he learned how to spell his name. She could be twice as tricked out as Percy and she'd still be like "Fuck you, dad, I'm not using any of this shit." I mean, her most iconic weapon is her shield which is a symbol of ATHENA. She wants as little to do with Zeus as possible, so there's no telling what her powers could be if she actual tried to use them. Probably not very much, if I'm being honest because Zeus is shit.

It was early morning...probably. The Sun is fucking dead so there's not really any way of knowing aside from one's own sleep schedule and hoping the clocks are still telling the truth.

Anyways, according to the clock on the nightstand it was 6:27AM and 15 seconds.

And somehow, despite his fucked up sleep schedule, falling asleep and waking 4 hours after a normal person at LEAST, Deimos was fully awake.

But it's not like he could do anything anyway because his lover just so happened to still be slumbering in his arms as we speak, which meant the cat-on-lap law applied and he could. Not. Move. A millimeter.

Anywho, like most of us Deimos is dumb and can't stay still for more than 5 minutes so of course you eventually woke up from all the rustling of the bed.

"...Love...?" Welp, time to feel bad

"Uh, hey, Honeypie. Sorry for waking you up."

"No, no, it's okay. What time is it anyway?" They asked, but not before noticing the petname.

"Uuh...6:35AM and twenty- no twenty-seven seconds."

Visibly, the love of his life was shocked.

"6:35AM and 27 seconds? And you're awake?"

"What? Shawty gonna get fussy 'bout it?" He cooed at them while squishing their cheeks.

"No I'm not. And- also- stop that!" Despite the angry tone they were giggling"

"Hehehe, look at you getting all red!" The smoker-man laughed out loud, to which his 'shawty' just snuggled in his chest for warmth and because they couldn't think of an answer.

And then they layed in the bed for a few minutes. Before Deimos opened his mouth once again:

"Maybe the reason I woke up so early is because our little 'show' last night knocked me out cold."

"Stop that!" They yapped, but thet couldn't stay mad anyway because of this stupid man's strained-ass laugh.

"You're lucky I'm bad at imposing myself!" They joked. Visibly they also found the situation humorous.

"Aww, don't say that darling! You can do whatever you want, it's not like anyone cares anymore!"

Anywho! I'll probably yap about my two most written fic's, Legend is fine in the end and the crack fic

Okay, so in the "crack fic" (I don't have a name for it yet) I said before how Wind is going to be found by the dumpster which is still going to be true but it might be a little different than I thought originally because right now I'm writing them playing new Super Mario Bros Wii.

I started off the fic with Warriors yelling "Why is there milk in the cupboard?", then the chain all pointing at each other and accusing each other till they eventually find the person (Hyrule) who did it. Then Wild got up and decided to put the milk away but since he was so tired he actually put it back in the cupboard instead of putting it in the fridge, he eventually got it though.

Anyways I'm really excited to write more of this fic, I'm finally on my way back home so I can finally write more! I wrote a little bit I didn't have much free time :( I had so many Ideas but I couldn't write them, but I could write them down so I could remember them!

Then also in Legend is fine in the end, I have a few chapters posted but I think it's going to end up way longer than expected, well actually it was going to be one chapter but now it's 11k words so yeah.

Fun fact, that fic was the result of me asking for fic prompts and someone responding with picnic and/or flower crowns. So normal people would think they wanted fluff or something like that. That fic is definitely angst though, so yeah. And I haven't even gotten to the part with the flower crowns yet!

Anyways you already know about the Malon dying wip, which I am really excited to write because more angst! Also I haven't really written Time much, so I'm glad I'm going to be able to do that! I also have a wip that is where Legend and Warriors end up drunk and have a cry session together :)

I also listened to the podcast Jojo was on and it was so cool to listen too! It was amazing to get to know more about the author of one of my favorite hyper fixations! And more about Linked Universe and plans for the next chapters!

to answer the first part of your question, i just think diseases (particularly the deadlier ones) are really cool and know a lot of info about them! im not like breeding bacteria in my bedroom dw

anywho

im literally just gonna yap about the stages/symptoms of various diseases so enjoy :3 (im putting it below the cut got anyone who doesn't want a ton of disease info)

rabies (starting it off strong and deadly af) - basically, rabies has three stages. the first one is the incubation stage. this is when you actually get bitten by the animal and the virus actually enters your body. this is also the only stage where your can actually be treated for it (MASSIVE psa to immediately go to a medical professional is you are ever bitten by a wild animal, especially a predator).

stage two (which can happen days up YEARS after stage one starts depending on the severity and distance from the brain of the bite), is the stage where you the virus reaches actually reaches your brain. if you get to this stage, congratulations, you're fucked. once you start showing symptoms, there's nothing doctors can do to help and the chance of you actually surviving is microscopic. speaking of symptoms, rabies symptoms start off as just flu symptoms. headache, cough, sore throat, fever, ect.

and finally, stage three. i like to call this one the "you have three days left to live stage". this is where the stereotypical/fucking terrifying rabies symptoms appear. a ton of saliva in your mouth/foaming at the mouth, hallucinations, convulsions, aggression, and strangely enough, an extreme fear of water. then, you die. not fun.

idk why but rabies is so fascinating to me. tbh it alone takes up like 50% of the actual disease hyperfixation

onto number two!

the bubonic plauge (told you it was mostly the deadly ones) - ooh boy. where do i even start with this one. well, first off, contrary to popular belief, this bacteria actually ISN'T eradicated! you can still catch it! (it's very rare though, so don't get freaked out thinking you're gonna get the bubonic plague. it is HIGHLY unlikely you will. chill.) and even if by some unfortunate circumstances you do end up catching it, go to the doctor. then you can get so be antibiotics and be better in no time :)

now onto the symptoms!

bubonic plague symptoms are just as—if not more —terrifying as stage three rabies symptoms, which is probably why they're so well known! some good examples are headache, fever, chills, muscle aches, swollen lymphs that leak pus (aka the most well-known symptom), toes and fingers turning black, vomiting, diarrhea, ect. very not fun. and the disease progressed FAST. you go from first contacting the bacteria to dead as a doornail in like two weeks. ya. fucking terrifying.

now for a lil history lesson about it :3

the first major bubonic plague outbreak (in europe btw) was around 1300, and the last major one was around 1600. there were about two major outbreaks a century. and you wanna know how much of europe's population this one little bacteria killed off? two thirds. TWO THIRDS. THAT'S A LOT. so in case you hadn't already guessed, the bubonic plague is SUPER contagious. it spreads from rats to humans (and probably humans to humans with all the bodies piled in the streets...) via flea bites. and yeah, you heard me right. bodies on the streets. the death count was SO HIGH that there weren't enough graves for all the dying people and they just left the corpses to rot in the roads until the were enough graves.

I joined the fandom after a long hiatus so I decided why not have a blog to talk about my own universes. Since there's going to be quite a bit, I decided to make my own tagging system. However, there's a few guidelines about this blog first!

Hi,

I read the 1st chapter of camp seventeen so I'm here to talk about it. The chapter starting with her waking up early and absolutely hating it is so relatable, like girl, we all know how horrible early mornings are. Her being late nonetheless and not understanding how camp works or why it is the way it is, all these details help us understand her character better, since she's just as confused as we are. Coming to the boys, shua being the sweetest sweetheart and helping her out all the time is so shua, like, that's the gentleman in him(can't say I trust he's always like that, considering he's friends with han and cheol). Finding an unexpected solace in the silence with Jun, chan being the most adorable little kid that she has also started babying, seungkwan trying his best, dokyeom also being a sweet angel, jeonghan being an absolute menace with his visits to cheol's house, wonwoo just existing atp, Vernon just vernoning, jihoon being able to read her like a book(which, in my opinion, is so dangerous and I love it), gyu and soonyoung being flirts and goofballs, Hao, the strict yet sweet trainer, and last but definitely not the least, cheol being respectful yet taunting her entire existence, all these character descriptions were perfect, I loved reading how her relationship with each of them was developing. Her trying to adapt to the camp, the training, living with 13 men and the fact that they have no electricity? Now, that's a crime,idk how she survived a week(but then again, ig living with 13 men and having to train everyday keeps her busy enough).

Damn, I haven't even gotten to the main parts of the chapter and I've already yapped so much. Well, I hope you don't mind.

I totally understand her reaction towards cheol, he's the leader and he commands respect which is so attractive, obviously she'd want him, anyone would. What I did not expect was their interaction, him working out shirtless and her drooling over him but the situation suddenly taking a turn and her running away only to end up at soonyoung's house. While I expected something to happen between them, I was not expecting him to have a girlfriend but clearly, it's not a relationship based on love if they're both indulging other people. Anywho, the entire scene with them in his house was so good, it was unexpected in a really good way, I loved it. Her imagining cheol though, girl, you're down bad, can't blame her though, knowing I'd probably be no different. Then, the cliffhanger ending to the chapter, oh my god, why did he stop? I really hope that next chapter it's gonna be cheol, I don't think she'll be able to restrain herself for too long either.

I'm extremely curious about two things, how can she touch cheol without being electrocuted? And what in the world is that lawsuit about? You have successfully made me even more invested in this story, if that's even possible. Thank you for taking time and putting in the effort for writing this chapter. Hope you had as much fun writing it, as I did, reading it 🥰.

I tried to be as close to the boys irl personalities - of course its based off what we majorly see from the svt content but its also subject to change according to the needs of the plot, this is after all just the first impression!

Oh yeah, life at camp is rough - they are in the middle of nowhere, electricity is a challenge and training is even more intense for her because she just joined but she's got to get through it, this is her world now :')

I think she's seen Cheol the closest so far compared to the rest of the members? His aura is such, who wouldn't fall for that right? But yeah, Soonyoung really did come out of nowhere hehehe. About him and his girlfriend though, I think ten years ago when it started they were in love but its been so long, like OC said, now they are more like each other's habit? We'll have to see how things go between them!

Cheol has his reasons, we'll get to know sooner or later but till then there's lots in store! How she can touch him is something no one understands, we'll have to see why but the lawsuit yes, I'm taking my time explaining that cause I don't want to info dump, there's lots to explain about the demigod world and how it works so we'll cover it eventually!

alright, well first of all I'd like to say that your characterization of levi in "This Life, After" is one of the best I've read in fanfiction! you've perfectly captured the dichotomy of his unconditional love towards others and his lack of regard towards himself. it's utterly heartbreaking, but I think that's honestly my favorite part about his character, and I rarely get to read fics that portray this well.

that being said, I sometimes do feel as though the fic keeps on hitting the same constant beat, where levi goes through a physically tormenting situation, ends up at the hospital, onyan and the kids worry, levi gets out of the hospital, and rinse and repeat. don't get me wrong, I love me some good angst, but I do think there can be other ways to get him to suffer. an idea may be to get him to suffer by proxy? maybe he suffers as a result of his loved ones suffering (a loved one (onyan maybe) gets hurt, and he blames himself, spirals, etc.) I just think there's so many scenarios that can be explored, and I do think analyzing how levi would react to these different plotlines would be quite interesting.

anywho, enough yapping from me. thank you so much for writing this fanfiction!

I'll admit, I'm a sucker for angst, and I often get caught up in that aspect of my writing. So I think you have a legitimate point that I tend to sort of get stuck in traction with the ebb and flow of Levi's struggle in my story.

That said, I also feel like it's sort of justified, because the story is largely dealing with Levi suffering from multiple mental illnesses, and mental illness is, by nature, cyclical and repetitive. Levi in my story is suffering from pretty severe depression, anxiety, PTSD and a whole host of other mental issues, on top of his physical disabilities, and he's not really going to just magically get better or recover from that. Each of his issues is basically compounding the other and making it worse, and he has a lot of unresolved trauma and other problems that are, after a lifetime of having to ignore them in order to survive and keep others alive, beginning to really crash down on him and manifest in awful ways.

So yeah, he ends up in the hospital a lot in my story, and it's a recurring problem. You may be disappointed to know it's going to happen again relatively soon, but it's vital to Levi's overall recovery and addressing some of the issues he has correctly, so I can't really change that.

A lot of it also comes from Levi's selflessness and how that selflessness, while in canon always extremely commendable and admirable, in the setting of my story, given Levi's condition, ends up causing himself and others actual harm. He ends up causing the people who love him a lot of grief and suffering by NOT caring for himself, basically, unintentional as it is. So I feel like the other characters do suffer, and Levi is learning that sometimes it's okay to be selfish and that it can actually be better for the people around him to be so once in a while. It's basically meant as a journey for Levi learning to care more about himself, and the focus of the story is Levi and his trauma and learning to live with it in a world where, instead of being forced to push it down and ignore it, he's instead forced to confront and deal with it. Essentially, it's about watching Levi heal, and all the awful pangs of that process.

That's how I justify it to myself, anyway, lol.

Also, at this point where I'm at in the story now, Levi is really at his lowest, mentally and physically, and I feel like suddenly shifting focus to another character and their personal problems would distract from Levi and what he's going through. Other characters ARE suffering. Onyankopon is dealing with a lot of feelings of guilt and isolation, being Levi's main caretaker and having to navigate a lot of issues with Levi that he's never had to before. There's a lot of pressure on Onyankopon, and that's going to come out and cause issues in some upcoming chapters. Things aren't going to remain so easy for him and Levi, or so smooth in terms of their relationship. Levi's too sick right now in the story to really be expected to deal with or be aware of the way Onyankopon, or any of the kids, are struggling, and Onyankopon is also purposefully hiding his own struggles from Levi, because he knows it wouldn't be fair to him to put that pressure on him when Levi is barely keeping his head above water as is. But for sure, I could use more sections really showing that struggle and the impact Levi's issues are having on everyone else, too.

There's also a section of the story that I'm working on right now in which one of the other characters ends up struggling with a lot of guilt and fear over something, and ends up getting hurt as a result, and we see how that really negatively impacts Levi and causes some big issues for him. That section isn't going to come up for a while, though.

It's definitely not going to be everyone's cup of tea, and that's fine. Like I said, I do have a tendency to get caught up in the drama of it all. But I'll definitely try getting some other scenarios in there with the other characters going through their own issues and seeing how that impacts Levi.

that part where you mentioned that Gojo knew about the reader even before Shoko knew the reader?? when did Shoko and the reader move in with each other? i vaguely recall the mention of Gojo talking about the reader nonstop for the past 3 years, but then at what point did the reader and Shoko meet and decide to move in?

also i was that anon that suggested the theory that Gojo might have “hurt” people before to isolate the reader (https://www.tumblr.com/kamiversee/745973714738397184/ive-always-wondered-why-the-reader-has-been-so), but now i can’t help but wonder if he even went as far as making sure that Shoko and the reader moved in with each other so he’d have more opportunities to see and talk to the reader… 🤔 it’s a really far fetched theory but it would make a lot of sense for his obsession

… unless the obsession on really started once Satoru started blackmailing the reader? but that makes things even more confusing 🥲 FUCK, KAMI

but that cut to the reader getting ready for her date with Shoko was so cute. i love that Shoko’s quick to show her bias towards Satoru, it’s so cute 🥹 throughout this story i’ve always wondered about what Shoko would think about this whole situation, how she’d react knowing that one of her best friends made her roommate go through horrible things. she’s so cute dude UGH SHOKO ENDGAME!!!

that part where Shoko’s talking about how love is powerful enough to make people do crazy things is feels like it’s going to be a recall moment for Choso to think back on once some crazy shit does happen 😔 i’m detecting angst in our future soon 🫣 Kami i’m not ready
