so . hm. hear me out. i have some random not only hcs but like "evidence" (just me rambling lets be real) of why hazel is autistic to me (or its just me projecting the recent diagnosis in my new comfort character whatever)

• the way she doesn't get phrases and takes things literally like in that one scene when pj and josie are talking about the juvie thing and she is like "wait . you guys ate literal shit?" (that one scene people talk A Lot but there's more, like that one when she get "oh... so things about juvie werent real lmao ok why did u lie tho" and she seems genuinely hurt :[ oh god)

• that being said, she is easily gullible, really having the idea of "i wouldn't lie/mislead about something like this, so why would they?", the first instinct is to believe because it doesn't make sense to lie or mislead at all (exemple: the scene where the guy from the team i forgot the name tried to help her and she believe not only for this bcs because she was vulnerable, of course)

• speaking of lies, she really disliked the fact that the girls were lying to the club about what was iy really about (but that's just what every other person would think ig lol)

• she likes to organize things!!! like, the lists and every email and how she took the whole club activities so serious? omg i love her sm

• that scene where she is almost having a breakdown and doing noises and curling up in herself...

★ ㅡ her favorite way of stimming, mainly in public, is to play with her rings or/and chain, crack her knuckles, fidget with the hem of her shirt, feel the soft fabric of her cardigan sleeves or just curl her fists around the ends of whatever long sleeve she has on that day.

★ ㅡ part of me thinks she really likes the texture of crochet or the kind of texture her clothes during the movie has, like, just sliding her nails at it almost scratching, but some days, she would absolute hate the feeling.

★ ㅡ she does have a special interest in how to make bombs but not only that, the crochet thing would be something she would really like to do, too.

★ ㅡ she likes to do lists for EVERYTHING, even silly stuff, probably does ranks of random foods once in a while out of boredom (that one is very self indulgent i must admit)

★ ㅡ when overstimulated, she usually curls into a ball and makes noises to try to self regulate (just like in the scene of the gif!).

★ ㅡ she is the type of autistic that is hyperverbal for sure, even more so with her special stuff like bombmaking ! if u want her to love you ask her about it.

★ ㅡ she have difficulty with maintaining relationships, not much starting them, so that's why she so glad she got the girls of the club to be alongside her.

★ ㅡ i like to thing the girls help her when she is in need of supporting, just like after she got beat up at the gymnasium and everyone showed up to help.

★ ㅡ moving her whole body and being overly expressive to release the pent up stress and kind of a way of stimming. her skipping everywhere would be a good one too :>

★ ㅡ she actually doesn't do that much of masking, only when very self aware like when she doesn't get a obvious joke or something, but ever since the girls became her friends, they try to help her and say "hazel... that wasn't serious, we were joking" or something along those lines and even try to explain it to her!

something i'll never be able to get over with the bbh and dapper relationship is what dapper wrote in the laboratory journal:

"But if I am a sun for him, aren't stars suppose to burn either way?"

because only dapper could take bbh's incredibly sincere and loving phrase of endearment and see the negative connotations of it, not out of distrust or resentment but rather pure logical reason. that yeah the sun is a star and stars do burn and don't truly last forever (don't get me started on the fact that bbh is canonically immortal so there's another level of angst regarding dapper fearing not living as long as his dad). that this phrase capsulate the initial feelings that all the parents had towards the eggs. because at first all the parents really did see the eggs as a means to a end, that they were the latest task / challenge presented by the island. and its not like they weren't vocal about that fact to the eggs, they explicitly asked the eggs and bragged to them about raising them the best and talking about the "prize" for raising them.

i feel like dappers the only egg that's really touched on the fact that the eggs weren't really suppose to last. that he isn't afraid of death but rather his fathers reaction to it, because it was the parents attachment to the eggs that has kept them around. dapper has always been very transparent with his mortality and potential death but i feel like this quote is the first time his character has actually touched on dapper's feeling about dying. i think another level of this quote is also the connotations of "burn" because its really makes me think of the parents interest in the eggs "burning" away (burnout) because of all the parents bbh has been the one to log on everyday and care for both him and the other eggs. and its questioning when is his father investment in him going to burn away too, because its the parents attachment that kept them around but how long can the parents remain attached.

i dont know. i absolutely adore this quote. its just got some many levels and connotations and its adds so much depth to dapper's character. i love the server lore and etc but i wish we got more from the dapper secret labortory arc because it was such a interesting arc for dapper character. anyway this quote is my roman empire.

Yes yes hi! Hello! I am the morgan fan ever! Ive watched his videos on repeat as sleep aid and I think that should be studied—anyways. So. MORGAN.

Morgan is a seer obscura who works (could just be worked? i mean we really dont know the details of morgans job, but, it really could just be that he spoke with his listener, seer obscura, because he is the only OTHER seer obscura in the world) with/for/through The Department (D.U.M.P.)

He comes off as a pretty calm soul, someone who likes to dive into the bits in pieces of things. A big word guy, if you catch my drift…but he also comes off as a tad bit nervous or even intimidated in his first audio, the one where he and his listener meet as theyre seeking counsel for their issues in regards to their empowerment and magic, since he is noticeably taking time to curate his sentences while also clarifying that he doesnt have to be the seer to help his listener if they dont want it. Which cpuld insist that his LISTENER also seemed uneasy or even rude depending on your interpretation of it

And them theres a whole lotta seer lore that ill sum up under the cut.

Later on, it’s confirmed that morgans listener, Seer Obscura, is struggling with their sight AND that they somehow were affected by the inversion (Or, maybe just confused as to how they didnt see it at all…but again, they ARE a seer obscura…and the inversion obscured allllllll sorta seer sight…aka, the inversion was “radio static”, for a lack of a better term, for all seers. or just. not there, if that helps.)

The second audio takes place a few months to a year later…and its the listener seeming advice for their magic. all of the lore dump from the three audios will be under the cut, so, i wont summarize this audio too much. Just let it be known that

Throughout all three audios, via my interpretation, feels guilty and or awkward for reaching out for help/to morgan

Sooo round comes the third audio. We got seer obscura panicking and dialing up morgans number in the middle of the night/very early morning. (Hence the “hes half asleep” in the video title)

despite it being late…despite morgan being tired as FUCK.

He assures seer obscura that they are no burden to him and that, if they need someone, morgan is walking to help. So yk, seer obscura is obv a lil panicky and is like “Okay, do I meet uou at the office—?”

and then morgan is like giggling and goes “I dont live at the office*” which is silly to me and funny. so anyways, morgan goes “ten miles north of the office” (yes i remembered this)

ok and then seer obscura pulls up, morgan apologizes for the mess.!and for the majority of the audio morgan goes on to explain exactly how things differ between seers and seer obscuras + how he sees things in a dofferent light from the rest ofbthe seer population

and then at the end of the audio, they walk off to morgans balcony and morgan goes on this lil rant about how he doesn’t know what seer obscura wants and he cant know unless he figures that out for himself with them

and then they gain that little ‘friendship badge’ with the whole “I want to get to know you” trope. bc that was along the lines of morgans words. so yeah

oh yeah and then it ends with morgan and seer walking back into the apartment wirh morgan offering to “make breakfast” although he jokes that the best he can do for them is a bowl of cereal.

Random Basic Seer Facts:

- Seers can be latents or human born

- Sight can not be learned. Either you are born with the ability to see the future or you can’t at all. Not even demons can use this magic

- The first thing a seer sees is their death

- Foresight is inseparable from the magical core, only way to get rid of the foresight is to cut threads of power (removing all magic)

- can use any sort of magic

- All Seers are sunbound

- Seers can in fact not be turned into vampires

- They can *easily hide* their cores cleverly from any other race

- The magical race (Yk, seers) are very, very rare.

- Specific things like stress or caffeine and trigger their sight powers. Really, depends on who you are. It varies.

- Choose not to use your sight and your powers will build up in pressure, involuntarily releasing as sight magic. Like a valve. You can open it, or it can burst itself

- Involuntary sight is pretty disorienting, lowkey feels like derealization if I were to have a say in it

- Can control the length, depth, and pretty much anything else out of sight. It’s at the control of the holder as long as they *know* how to control it

Important must knows

- Although Seers can “*see the future*”, they ACTUALLY only see the variables in the situation. It’s like mathematics and quantity. Probability machines. NOT SET IN STONE. Nothing is confirmed because factors within the sight can be *obscured*. Ex; people, places, situations, etc

- E’laetum had been looking to find a solution to vampires and boom here we have seers (I’ll. Figure out how to write this soon)

- The last Seer that the department had record of was *waaay* back in the early 1800s. Morgan and his listener are the only two recorded Seer Obscura in their century that have come forward about it. It’s likely that they are the definite only two.

- The inversion shifted the timeline (within dahlia, I’m imagining) in all. Everything seen about the future that was sought after before the events of the inversion became invalid because of the part that death played in the situation. (And death is…obscured oddly. I think it has something to do with the river but I may be reading this wrong. I’ll figure it out)

- Are told to be “Sovereign Touched”

- “Exist apart from the rest of humanity”

- “The children of E’laetum”

- Were created to “heal” what had been broken (aka settle and or smooth the vampire fiasco)

- Cores contain tiny pieces of sovereignty, this explains why only seers can use sight. No human or demon can posses these because they don’t have those bits and parts like seers do

- As soon as E’Laetun had attempted to heal the vampires, seers were formed. It had taken more magic from E’Leatum than he would’ve liked. Theses were the *first* seers.

Other

- Morgan’s listener (The one which fandom has just deemed “Seer Obscura”) hid their core and covered it with an aura of an illusory (another empowerment.) This means that nobody (**besides** other seers) knew they were a seer. All seers tend to be talented at this.

Obscura and Obscured

- It’s hard to see any (if any at all, which is said to be impossible) future that an Obscura is in. Their presence obscures and deforms the way seers use their powers. The closer you come to the obscured factor within your vision, the more static it becomes. It doesn’t completely block out, yet deranges it.

- There are places/actions that are obscured as well, which means not only people. For example: death & Aria itself.

- Any race of empowered beings can be Obscuras, actually. The title of obscura only means that your presence interferes with the timeline/sight. For all we know, someone like David could be an Obscura.

- Erik confirmed that d(a)emons themselves are not always obscured, only Aria.

The Soldality:

What is The Soldality? A group of seers who live publicly, curating a timeline to see the future—probably to prevent events like the inversion from happening. Theyre protected by the department. AND all watch the time streams and predict what the future would be. Most of them believe that there is a known outcome.

- The “known outcome” does not take account of those places and people who are obscured, making this group invalid in plenty of ways.

- Morgan himself is apart of the Soldality yet seems to have his doubts about it.

- A wide marsh of the Soldality actually don’t like Morgan/the whole idea of seer obscuras bc they dont have to *see his own death / future*

fanart for a scene in @nerdydowntherabbithole 's Taking Life As Is on AO3 !! a scene early on in the fanfic that sounded so cool it gripped me with inspiration, where a vulture swoops down and gets fucking got by a leviathan while our dear protagonists look on in horror of the beautiful brutality of mother nature happening right in front of them! dont you love it when you leave your rotting corpse behind and immediately get hit with the existential horror of almost dying and the primal fear of seeing something that much bigger than you and realising your fragility when you were once a godlike being above such lowly thoughts and struggles? anyway.

some details and thoughts !! :

-just before this scene, sugar (survivor's name in this fic) hunted and ate a salamander, so i included it in this here drawin too !! hell yeah esoteric fic-accurate details -(pro tip for any artists out there; if you want to push something into the background, gradient overlays are your friend. also, dont forget to check your values. outline your characters if they aren't popping out of the background enough) -in other, not fic-accurate detail,, moon's dress and marks. i think in the fic, moon's dress is more like,, an actual dress with sleeves and such. but also like, i do what i want and i want something thats barely a dress so i can show off my anatomy/mechanical bits art skills. i dont care if its not canon compliant im calling rule of cool -whoops i forgor the wires uhh shit nevermind it would cover the cool bits anyway whatever -also, while i am proud of the vulture and leviathan, they both used reference. like, i sketched them out yeah, but also the sketch was mostly done by staring at a reference the whole time and overlaying it on the canvas as needed when the drawing looked a little too off. so if you look at this and think 'aw man this guys too good at drawing i could never draw a vulture/leviathan/background/whateverthefuck like that' youre wrong. use references and get better at art by referencing references -shoutout to the miraheze wiki btw for supplying most of my references for this. fandom wiki could never

this fic holds a special place in my heart. like, i dont agree with it on a lot of things (how the cycle works, time between slugcat campaigns, how rot works, etc), but its very internally consistent and i like how all the characters are written. i really do like how, despite all the bickering, the iterators really do care for each other and love each other. i like that the blame isn't pushed just to pebbles, the acknowledgement of there being a lot of nuance and complications in the whole situation. i like the worldbuilding, nsh's wetland-esque biome, srs's gleaming glass beaches, the different interesting fauna/flora, slugcat society worldbuilding, the fucking trains hell yes trains.

most of all though, i love the authors dedication to getting a happy ending. no one left behind. all the iterators in the local group are getting freed (except for innocence but thats a different thing) all the slugcats are alive and doing well (even artificer's kids!!). and even though the fic throws the characters around, bad things happen, steps backward are taken,,, there is almost a palatable message that no matter what, things will be okay. artificer did bad and its acknowledged with visible consequences (scavenger temple route, which mightve made things so much easier on the route to nsh) but she still gets her kids back. hunter had her rot cured and even got some sick new upgrades but still struggles with overexertion and moments of weakness. both pebbles and moon have ptsd from the rot and the rain respectively and its handled reasonably well, not even mentioning the survivors guilt and learned helplessness on nsh and the whole,, guilt from causing this whole fiasco and the feeling of it being all their fault from srs,,,, , ,,,

i dont know. i just really like how dedicated the fic is to showing the realistic consequences of the unforgiving and brutal world of rain world and weaving it into a story of forgiveness and freedom. there are struggles but the heroes will still win and get to go home happy. its cathartic. i love it a lot.

aita for like not liking my irl friends at the moment. So for context i'm in a friend group of four, in which i joined a year later into the friendgroup than the three others (their initials spell the world three too lol) so sometimes i feel a little left out and like i dont rly fit in with them.

For one i'm not rly like them in terms of interest, like i'm not into kpop or vietnamese drama/tiktok/music or k-dramas as they are, nor am i that up to date in slangs and like, adulty stuff ykyk so sometimes when they make references i tend to take them literally most of the time and it makes no sense to me. And yk it's not very nice that sometimes i ask them to explain and they're don't even rly bother to tell me or they're like "omg guys looks she doesn't get it hahahaha"

another thing would be that our family backgrounds are WAYYYY different. like i'm in a class full of rich people mind u (cuz im on a scholarship :(( ) so sometimes when we're going out i either can't go bc i have to focus on my studies or i can't always spend as much as them. Like they get money from certificates and for birthdays and everything and i have to earn mine through competitions or i have to wait for New years to get lucky money, and in the end i dont get as much as them anyways but eh. Sometimes they act like i'm TOO focused on my studies, like yeah i get it like even if they didn't make it that far in education they'd still be stable cuz their parents have companies or sell villas or sell cars and mansions so yeah but i dont rly have that opportunity so like i HAVE to focus on this yk. gepard although hes not too great at taking plants (hes def trying tho) id like to think in his spare time he has like a book on floriography and goes to flower shops to buy sampo flowers with specific meanings?(like he goes to a flower shop and requests very specific types of flower arrangements)

sampo knows a LOT of things about belebog that no one else does some kind of like historical knowledge however i think the reason why sampo wont actually KNOw any floropgraphy is because with all his vast knowledge from across the universe as a masked fool, why would he bother to know something as ‘mundane’ as the meaning behind flowers.

to link to that, i think with sampos big world he sorrta gets dragged down to belebog in like a nice way and through gepard learns that the small things in life ACTUALLY matter or they noow matter. so for example these flowers he gets he never knows the meaning of them, def gets flustered by gepard initiating anything at all lmao.

i think sampo would ask around the underworld such as natasha, seele, even hook tbh about the meaning behind these flowers usually getting information from natasha. BUT he doesnt just outright ask he would like slip it into conversation because hes sly like that. Natasha very obviously catches on quite early on and although shes not as knowledgeable with the meanings she still retains enough information for sampo to start relying on her to help decode gepards bouquet.

one way or another serval catches wind of this (through natasha) and i think thats how she connects the dots

sampo most definitely leaves back notes with kisses on them on gepards windowsill (gep leaves his windows unlocked always.)

i can also imagine sampo to ‘retaliate’ somehow finding some extinct belobog flower and gifting it to geppie being all like ‘i bet ya can’t find the meaning behind this one’ lolll

Idk how to sort this out but ig Ill yap about Greed first because ngl I love him and also screw it some head canons too

So first of all Im stealing that one artist's hc that they have some form of vitiligo, so there are like slightly lighter yellow patches all over their body, also making them kinda piebald I like my cheese mouldy bruh!!! Anyways, speaking about piebald, I kind of want to based them of the pied piper, leprechauns and some others, ngl for this section I am still looking for inspo, mostly mythological beings or something hehehwhwgsjdgdhsn

Also as you expected ya he's def a flamboyant and arrogant extroverted spoiled brat of a rich kid and will defintely cry and scream like a spoiled brat if they dont het what they want. Because of his nature in general they have no friends in general and they definitely not tryna fill that lonely hole in their heart with their greed and taking stuff and whatnot hehehehehehe

It's a somewhat vicious cycle, but dw, as hopeless as bro is, salvation is not impossible

Anyways onto Solitude, honestly I see them as very insightful despite being asleep since the begining or whatever, low intelligence, but high wisdom. Very elusive and mythical, as they are based on Kelpies, Sirens, Water nymphs and maybe even babayaga and much more. Also I think they would have like a nautical motivf because water, ocean, ya. And therefore they definitely have a good sense of direction, and knows how to infer from nature to know the directions like measuring the stars. Speaking about such things, Solitude would definitely know spiritual stuff, like knowing how to read horoscopes, knowing how to use tarot cards. And because of said insight, they can accurately tell a person's personality as well as even their backstory from a single glance.

Although Solitude doesn't care that much about materialistic things, they secretly really love shiny stuff, especially crystals, they are obsessed with crystals. They have a secret collection hidden deep within their waters that they especially don't want a particular SOMEONE to raid and steal everything. Speaking about that, they are the kind who would yell back at a screaming child to get them to shut up. Said screaming child is Greed. Yeah the 2 have beef, and Solitude always verbally insults them in very, interesting ways. (Also should mention not the type to swear except in russian or any other slavic language) also even tho Solitude bullies them 99% of the time, there is indeed a 1% where they can be nice, because they do feel just a pinch of sympathy for Greed.

Anyways, they also feel like its their responsibility to take care of him sometimes so that they don't do something stupid as much as their introverted ahh hates going out

Also, as much as Solitude hates it, they do have some connections with Greed, as much as they have connections with Fear, physically and in some other ways idk how to describe

Okay for fear I kinda yapped it all about in their parody blog but Ill elaborate more on some things like their relationship with Solitude, where again they learned to somewhat be "braver" and to accept themselves more or something idk shdgjdbend. Although, Fear is indeed more inclined to having high intelligence rather than wisdom. Also yeah Fear is more ambiverted because aside from being slightly scared of people, they do crave a little interaction because they definitely do have a little FOMO.

Also because why not ill yap a lil about Hatred as well. Ain't gonna reveal much because spoilers to rp events planned ahead but HOHOHO, y'all better hate it, because they ain't gonna be "mean little cat boys" like the rest on this site, they are an actual asshole and I am confirming they are definitely soon enough going to hurt somebody in the rp and I will not confirm or deny if somebody in the rp is dying as well.

Although, I will say, Hatred is simply a pawn for a bigger entity, that Imma be real, I am not sure will show up because I don't have plans yet, however, just know that Hatred will be the main antagonist for a long, dang time.

Anyways I should say like how the 3 are connected to each other so uh, idk if anything below this would make sense or not 😭

Fear is like the past, something primal with the appreciation of life, Solitude embraces what is modern yet respects the roots of the wild, Greed is like the present, something so modern with ignorance for life since its so easy to live now with everything that we have

Greed is a sin, Solitude is a state, fear is an emotion.

With Fear as an emotion, it has the grip and control in most minds, not only that of humans, but of animals and nature too, everyone's afraid of something and I mean bro started to exist alongside the first vertabre. Everything wants to live, and disregarding fear is to accept death.

However, Fear is also the least bound to their nature because emotions can be more of a spectrum instead of a set thing, and plus many times fear can be felt but bravery can still be there, it ain't usually holding back a lot. (thus why they ain't like a scardey cat 100% of the time)

Solitude as a state has the grip on quite a lot, but not as much as fear, as well some people are naturally introverts, so may seek out less social interactions and some animals are purely solitary and not social. You can enjoy or hate being solitary, it's neutral after all.

However, Solitude does have more of a grip on certain people, especially humans because despite being a social species, and individuals wanting to be with others, they may be rejected from the rest due to certain issues like different appearances, preferences, etc. Because its such a subjective thing, Solitude is also not entirely bound to their nature, still close to it tho.

Greed is called a sin for a reason. Although some animals can be considered "Greedy" like pigs and squirrels, it's not entirely fair to compare them with Greed, as they do not know any better, and are just following their instincts programed into them for survival. Greed is a very, human thing.

And yes, like every other of the embodiments, it can be found in everyone, it's only a fraction of the population that it dominantly rules over *side eyes almost every company head ever especially roblox* and unlike the other 2, being neutral good or true neutral, Greed, is straight up bad. Getting all you want and not giving it to those who need it more. It can be ignorance, it can be intentional. Still horrible though.

Because of being such a defined nature that is such deeply rooted into humanity, of course it's hard for Greed to be apart from their nature, which is really unfortunate, because owning materialistic things aren't all there is to life, and Greed definitely yearns more than just those materialistic items, but such things that he yearns cannot be received unless he gives up those materialistic things. It's this or that, no both, but he wants everything, and therefore they will never be satisfied. Tragic, isent it?

However, once again there is a silver lining. Even though they so tightly entwined with their concept, their sentience shows that there's more to him aside from that and change is possible. Will be slow, will definitely be hard, but with determination, they can break out of their own nature. Might be death for themselves, but it's the only way for freedom.

jokes aside... i dont talk about her much here but i do really like her as a character and ive been having thoughts in the rare moments im not fixated on my wife. im not sure if theres something in specific you're interested in hearing about but i can give a general overview!

personality should probably come first yeah? she very much reads as like... the reserved type, i think. kind of a quiet kid, but also one who doesn't accept bullshit from anyone. would bite if you tried to fight her. adults would think of her as bratty but shes really just a kid being a kid. sort of ostracized from her peers, but still finds a home in the people who are kind of 'weird' like her. ('tism strikes again)

which brings me to my next point, she was friends with evan!! she was like a year older than him (7) at the time of his death. they read to me as the type who sort of start silently bonding. plays with him at the park outside fredbear's cause he gets scared inside & its overwhelming in there too.

i think she becomes a little more open and playful when she warms up to someone. flashing a grin at them before doing something a bit mischievous. i dont have anything specific in mind but you get me. she also tries to get evan to stand up for himself, even if he doesn't really end up doing so.

why is she present at fredbear's, and rather often at that? well. grins. i've silently assigned phone guy as her father (not something i think anyone will have picked up on, but if you put them next to eachother they do look similar. they're both southeast asian too!), so he brings her there a lot while he's busy working and shes not occupied at school. she's there a lot during breaks especially.

her mother is... out of the picture, which is part of the reason behind her standoffish behavior. she doesn't really take it well and feels a little left on her own since her dad is always so busy at work. and since hurricane is the way it is, rumours spread and whatnot, so that's a big part of the ostracization too.

fair warning this will either seem like incoherent rambling because my thoughts are hard to formulate or just me wanting to be rude about the sequels past we love katamari despite never playing them (i wrote this line after i finished the whole post)

anyways im about to list alot of king's outfits over the games and then rate them on 1) whether i like them personally (partly removed from context), and 2) whether i think they actually fit king. im doing this for absolutely no fucking reason and honestly im scared ill be very wrong or biased but im mnot being paid to do this for gods sakes im writign a tumblr post. i wont get cancelled for getting king incorrect. anyways

katamari damacy

1#: yeah i like it. he looks stupid and i like it. the cape and whatever the collar is called, in combo with the chain and gold accessories looks so silly. he doesnt look like a king besides the crown. he looks like he wants to be cool but doesnt know what that means but he knows nobody will question it cuz hes the king after all.

headdress: perfectly over-loaded. you have way too much going on. you dont need those blinking lights. and you really dont need those patterns and colors. can i try it on

2#: well its hard to say since this is the first one. and of course the first one fits him cuz. its the first one. but i think it gets his impression off very well. its a prussian blue v neck and a golden chain, with sort of maroon tights and a golden belt with the face of a lioness. bracelets and rings, and of course the triangle ruffle collar and purple flower pattern cape. its a mixed warddrobe, kind of silly, i think it works well with how you cant really take him seriously, too. rude and hurtful, yet also he. dresses like this. a kings crown, cape and collar, but his personal style underneath it. also expresses how he may be king, but hes not really taking that as being his role - rather, being himself means to be king. or being king is like, a side thing, not as important as just doing what he wants. maybe a bit of a reach, dont know if i managed to explain what im feeling properly... also, his actual clothing besides his headress isnt actually complicated, which is an interesting contrast. you would think he wants you to pay attention to his face, and not his body. he is egotistical, it makes sense that he wants you to look at him and pay attention to him in general, but the emphasis on his face is interesting.

headdress: absolutely fits. very extravagant in a way that works. the colors arent bright as hell either, which im glad they did because if they were neon and too flashy itd look too obnoxious. well itd look bad but also hes not about exactly "standing out". he loves attention, but he still has his style, and that style IS colorful, but not neon. i think it fits him well, it teeters on being over the top and subtle at the same time, like complex embroideries perhaps

we love katamari

1#: also like it. has the same color scheme of blue top and magenta purplish bottoms. though here its a bit less saturated and lighter in color. the flowers on the sleeves are a nice touch since hes no longer wearing his flower cape, and the golden ankle ring, as hes wearing nothing on his hands but his wedding ring.

headdress: neat!! i like this more than katamari damacy, but just because its kind of cute. well i like them both, but this one is easier to draw (lol) and the color scheme is nice. the lights are now flashing from the spaces of color, instead of looking like round lightbulbs, if that makes sense, and it seems more casual this way, somehow.

2#: it kinda fucks me up. but judging king in we love katamari, from how different he is compared to katamari damacy, this outfit seems kind of perfect to showcase how (almost eerily) laid back he seems to be in we love. his ruffle collar is now smoothed out, its wiggly instead of sharp. hes wearing a very wide sleeve light cyan top, a purplish flower on each sleeve, with a squiggly cut on the lapel, open to reveal his chest and a golden chain, with a piece that looks perhaps like a flower attached to it. he now has a band wrapped around his waist instead of the golden belt, with a golden lioness head piece holding it in place. lighter wine color tights. its so- i dont know. king starts off obviously excited at the fanbase and attention hes getting, so its curious he puts down the iconic outfit and gets into something so comfortable. he wants to stand out less, all of a sudden. its still very much a king outfit, but he dropped so much, i wonder why. hes laying back as usual to let prince do his work but hes really leaning into it now. not just that, but he seems almost less hurtful than katamari damacy. more open. hes still full of himself, but its toned down, muted. his occasional interjections talking about his childhood and papa are offputting in the sense that its unusual. and this outfit is unusual, too, in comparison. katamari damacys impression is that hes pompous but a bit silly (and also just a dick), we love katamaris impression is that hes egoistic- but aimless. he seems more forgetful and more lost in thought. the cape missing could also be symbolic of his openness, even if a bit cheesy. i noted that his cape might also hold some emotional weight similar to the crown, but thats based on my feelings.

headdress: reflects the casuality. its got a smaller color palette now, less patterns, and more flat spaces of color. reminds more of his headdress patterns in his childhood. its also longer now, but i dont have anything to add for that.

me & my katamari

this is where i start to get a bit iffy in general. the games are no longer directed by keita, and king doesnt actually progress any. he stays the same or changes purely because different people are writing his dialouge. me & my katamari seems to have no story otherwise, or cutscenes, even - so from here on i suppose i do get biased but there isnt much character to go off of. however- i did not play any of the games besides the first two, so i am watching gameplays.

1#: i think its alright. i dont really like the combo of colors, it feels weird with the super yellow thin cape, but it is a swimsuit style thing. i wish they changed the collar, though, or outright removed it. it feels wrong to be in there.

headdress: ehh too neon, doesnt help with colors.

2#: this is. alright, its ok. the swimsuit is relatively simple too, thought the yellow cape doesnt seem like something hed wear, especially since its supposed to be a swimsuit- a cape would make it very hard to swim, though kings zaniness could get him to wear a cape if it means looks over functionality. it isnt his normal cape of course, though im a bit sad the flower pattern is entirely missing here, or even a hint of it. instead its a swimsuit.. something... with wine and orange, and what looks like a necklace. its not a necklace exactly, but i dont know the name for this. its also got a lioness head. i dont really get the golden armband around his left arm, but eh. i think its passable overall but straying further from kings personality, though given he is just like. having a splash and having fun. and it is skin tight, which isnt really that important, but its not swimming boxers or something. swimming suit still with a touch of decency. i guess it wouldve been repetitive if this one also had a v cut, but to continue onward from we love katamari, if it had to be real casual and open as a sort of conclusion to we love katamari, i could imagine something similar to this swimsuit, but its a one-piece that covers his legs and chest but leaves his arms free. idk though. i also added this bit in an edit, so now im starting to think about actually sitting down and redesigning it, but im uh. not able to rn. and you cant save edits as drafts. oh well.

1#: really very stupid looking. i think the sleeves and puffy pants are very funny but boy i dont like this. dont really like the colors. id try it on myself tho. again, with the wiggly collar- this straight up just doesnt change in all games after we love katamari.

headdress: meh. not a big fan. its getting a bit boring now.

2#: not sure what to say. king wouldnt wear this. its really not his style. it looks more like a jesters outfit, and the lack of shoes makes it look even stranger. the weird random opening that shows a bit of his stomach is also a bit nonsensical, alone in terms of how the hell this piece of clothing works. the pants are too puffy- stripes arent something that make sense as a pattern for him. and the whole theatrics thing, with king talking to you from behind curtains he opens up, on a stage like background, feels out of character. hes not one for theatrics (literal). he likes admiration but he performs by showing off what he can do physically, not through theater or a play. not that its said he does, but the theater bit is just weird. doesnt fit him as a character.

headdress: in combo with the outfit it just doesnt make much sense, it doesnt really harmonize. its alot of shapes and colors, but not with much consideration. the colors seem to be random. the headdress and outfit are kind of at equilibrium with how much they catch your attention. obviously the headdress is more saturated and in game it has blinking lights, but you do have to look longer at the outfit, and it kind of sticks out with how it seems like such a weird pick for him. also it is just kind of a silly looking thing. maybe im just looking too hard though.

also ill b real im just getting more mad at the gameplay. the physics are missing and the katamari feels way too fast and responsive, which is frustrating me, and the game is basically back to basics with you and king and nobody else, which makes kings lines disappointing, but once again, i handle watching a game and playing it differently, and i already have bad feelings about the sequels besides we love katamari as they arent directed by keita, and king is such a specific character. the gameplay part is irrelevant though but it is making me want to watch it less. lol.

katamari forever

1#: curious! i like this outfit, removed from context. i cant say i like it as a king outfit at all, but i just like this type of outfit. fucking. no idea what that thing hes wearing at his collar is called but i have a little soft spot for that thing. hehe. dont care that its a king outfit though.

headdress: i like the colors! its mainly blues, purples and greens, but i like it. the patterns work fine for me. still boring though.

2#: this is hard. katamari forever has a bit more substance, but the whole plot literally is that king loses his memories. though he IS wearing this before he loses his memories. he has dialouge as he has levels, but technically, roboking is the main character in this. doesnt really matter, you can choose between either of their levels at free will i believe. thissss outfit is. sssssss. i dont know. the direction its taking with the fancy dandiness isnt out of place for *a* king, but it is out of place for *the* king of all cosmos. his suit and whole shebang being so bright is incredibly juxtaposed to his comfy darker pallette of katamari damacy and we love katamari - yet hes still the same character? hes not changed. he still belittles prince for low scores and small katamaris, still pretty egotistical. his outfit doesnt reflect anything on a deeper level. if anything just reflects a change in taste, but thats really not that interesting. theres cutscenes (finally) but these say nothing as hes asleep in those cutscenes. so theres nothing more to pull out of that. his responses to low or high scores seem to be mostly the same, and rather short, to be honest. when he requests something, its also pretty short. theres not alot to take out of that.

touch my katamari

1#: scared. scared of touch my katamari. i dont like this outfit but also i just dont like kings 3d model. like i dont need to tell you his face his scary and uncanny looking. its not that bad in this image but if you see even one closeup of his face its just. uncomfortable. his collar is sharp and triangle-y again, though.

headdress: i like the hearts hehe. thats about it though. dont like the fabric overlay over the texture, was kind of unnecessary. i want to spare you from looking at a closeup of the kings face though.

2#: man i dont know bro

im also getting tired and Hooo shit look at the time. i know i shouldnt do these things but you know how it is. i dont know why i did this, to be honest, but i just felt like talking a bit. my mind is a little too full on things around the cosmic family(s) and im already thinking more about queens family. oh well. i have no idea whether to tag this. i suppose i would conclude it here, despite the indeed dry touch my katamari review... this is just my little thing for me. im sure if i tag it with the katamari tag Nothing bad will happen. im going to sleep.

amazing katamari is just a mobile endless runner so theres no story but i will say: i like this! its cute! its simple, and a combo of the katamari damacy and we love katamari outfits. yea its not special, but its ok! though again with the collar... would've liked if they kept either one or the other collar piece. but thats about it, no deep analysis. i just think this render and art style is cute in general, so exclude this from the review. headdress is neat too. again nothing special but atleast it isnt so neon, mainly pinks purples and blues. completely taking it as being cute art though.

bonus AGAIN:

roboking. there will be no outfit review its just king but robo. hes also an entirely different character anyway so an analysis doesnt make sense. but i like that his belt looks stupid and his colors go pretty well, purple yellow blue. and that his eyes are always angled down. i just like robots. all im putting him here for is to say i think his pathetic self is entertaining and i kinda wish katamari forever was better. it couldve been good. but yeah ending this off with sad little roboking. thanks for reading. bye bye

summary- going wedding dress shopping with your future husband isn't typical, but you do it anyways.

"and who is this you've brought with you?"

"my fiancé"

The woman sitting front desk blankly looked at your large grin as you stood in a large puffer jacket, Taehyung behind you with the same smile plastered on his face.

"oh!" she finally spoke, "it's just most couples choose to wait for the dress reveal until the wedding"

You nod, you knew this was gonna be questioned.

You tried your best to explain that you wanted your husband to be the first to see it, instead of the last. You and him agreed that it would be better to surprise family. Was it conventional? no, but nothing you two did ever was.

Another woman came out from the back and led us into a try on room, mirrors surrounding the small couch that taehyung plopped down on, his own face slightly pink in anticipation to see you in a real wedding dress.

everything was becoming increasingly more real as the clock began to tic down to the wedding date.

"let me take your coat, baby" he whispered, pulling it off your shoulders as you stood.

"ok, im gonna go with her and pick out a few and i'll come back in once im ready" you giggled and kissed his nose, happily following the woman out to the room. The large isles of puffy dresses was slightly overwhelming to look at.

You were supposed to pick just one?

"so we will gather as many as you please, then eliminate them as we go until we find the dress that you feel most beautiful in"

You grinned and nodded, "sounds good"

Your eyes scanned, looking deeply at each unique design. you almost felt like an imposter standing here, this was a little too fancy.....and expensive.

Growing up on the poorer side meant now that you were 23, and had your own well earned money, you still had issues with spending it. Every item was a questionable "is it really that needed?" purchase. The fear of someday running out, all because you spent it on unnecessary items haunts you, even though that is far from realistic.

"so....tell me about your fiancé" the older woman spoke, her arms crossed as she followed you around the room, collecting anything that sparked your interest even in the slightest.

"well...." you blush, "we've known each other since we were little kids, and to be honest I think we were just meant for each other" you mentally cringe at the corny line that left your mouth. It was true though.

She grinned "how adorable, you both are rather young, I dont see a lot of kids in their early 20's getting married as much as before"

"yeahh..." you began, handing her a soft white gown to add to her small pile in her arms. "I guess we have spent so much time together that instead of waiting, we just knew what we wanted"

"that is very true, he seems as lovely as you and I'm positive it will work out. Whens the wedding?"

"February"

"3 months, that exciting. Most women have their dress a year before" she laughed softly

"yeah well we didn't have much time to plan, we are not super fancy and its just gonna be a small wedding with our parents and siblings, nothing super big"

"small weddings are always sweet too, of course you wont get as much money with that little guests" she teased, making you secretly scrunch your face up.

"eh...not too concerned"

You did not care if you weren't going to get many expensive gifts or cash at your wedding, it didn't matter.

thats not really the point of the ceremony.

After a bit, you gathered only 3 dresses and began trying them on.

The first dress was a white puffy one, the skirt similar to a princess gown like you've seen in movies.

"tae?" you whispered, opening the door and walking in to see him on the couch.

His eyes widened as he took you in, a faint blush powdering his cheeks. "i.....woah"

The woman laughed as she had you stand on the platform in front of the mirrors.

"do you like it?"

He lagged for a moment, in shock before nodding, "ye-yeah, yeah I do, baby you look gorgeous" he smiled widely, unable to take his eyes off.

"this one is part of the new collection in stock, no one has bought it yet, its one of a kind and original" the woman began speaking as she flattened the skirt.

"oh wow, thats cool" you mumbled, eyes stuck on yourself in the mirror. It was kinda freaky to imagine yourself in a wedding dress since you were little, and now seeing it in real life.

Taehyung watched in awe of your beauty, but he couldnt help but notice your uncomfortable body language. He chose to stay silent as the worker began speaking once more.

"you look absolutely stunning in it, the price is about $9,000 right now, but of course that would probably be more in the higher 9k or even closer to 10k considering this is a bit big on you and would need alterations"

You felt your face drain, 10k for a white dress made of fabric you could buy at the craft store? Sure, it was an incredibly beautiful gown, but you were not about to pay that much for a one time wear.

"God, ...okay" taehyung lifted his winter cap from his head to itch his scalp in thought, putting it back down as he watched your expression.

"yeah uh...not gonna get this one" you whispered, looking at the worker

"thats okay, lets go try the other ones you picked"

Taehyung sat back down, part of him loving the way you were putting on a little fashion show for him, the other, concerned that you were bothered by something.

You stepped out in another dress, however this white one was more fitted, there was no train behind it, instead it hugged your curves.

Your fiancé smirked, watching as you stepped up to the platform.

"now, how do you feel? this one is from the summer collection, but you did say you were having an indoor wedding in February so you'll still be warm"

You thought for a moment, turning to see your body in the mirror, taehyung stood behind you, "you look so beautiful baby" he smiled

You shrugged, offering an iffy smile "I dont know"

before you knew it, your eyes were tearing up for NO reason.

The worker noticed how concerned taehyung had gotten and she spoke up, "i'll be right back"

When the door shut, he gently took your hands and made you face him, he whispered "whats wrong, hm? why are you so sad, my love?"

"I dont know" you whispered, his fingers wiping your eyes. "I just dont feel as pretty as I thought I did in these, I feel like a fake to be honest"

"why is that?" he sounded angry, not at you, but at the thought you didnt see your own beauty.

"everything is just so expensive and I dont feel like it belongs on me" you sniff, his face softens.

"hey" he whispered, "my parents agreed to help the cost of your wedding dress, stop worrying"

"I know but its not fair to you guys, and besides, I just feel weird. I wish I could just wear whatever"

He smiles gently and brushes your hair. "what is it that you want?"

"see, I dont even know. I remember when I was a little girl I always wanted to wear a puffy baby pink gown" you laugh, "everything seemed so easy then huh"

He thought for a moment, "a pink dress hm? lets see if they have that here"

"are you serious? baby, I was just joking"

"so? try one on anyways my love"

"i dont know....I was like 10 when I said that and-"

"sh" he gently cupped your face, "these dresses arent doing it for you, and we wont stop until we find what makes you feel beautiful, ok? theres no harm in trying."

When the woman came back in, he softly explained the situation, and watched as she left to go find some options that fit the idea you wanted.

After a few moments, she returned with a dress she think you'd like/

"try this one, hun, I think its the closest to what you were telling me, its also the lightest shade of pink"

You glance at tae before nodding and going to change.

It fit on easily, only slightly big in the chest, but its nothing a quick sew job from your work friend couldnt fix.

You step out, watching Taehyungs expression widen at you "oh baby.....you are so beautiful, I love you"

You giggled as he kissed you, turning your body to look in the mirror. You teared up again, but this time not because you were sad.

The baby pink dress had laced long sleeves and a large flowing skirt, the waist sewn tight. It was just the right amount of sparkles added, and for some reason you knew that this is what 10 year old you would have wanted.

"i...I love it" you whispered

Taes eyes watered a bit, seeing the genuine reaction from you.

"how much is it?" you turned to the woman, she began to speak but taehyung stopped her,

"nope, doesnt matter"

"baby-"

"no, no, you love this dress"

You frowned and nodded

"im gonna take care of it, okay?" he kissed you gently, sharing a glance into your eyes through the mirror in front of you both.

"are you sure?"

"positive"

You waited a moment, holding his hand "I really do love it" you whispered

"so....is this the dress?" the worker smiled softly, watching you nod slowly as you wiped a tear "yeah...yeah this is the dress"

1) yes!! i have a couple.. i make new ones depending on the run i’m doing or the faction im siding with etc but for my current playthrough (neutral karma independent vegas) i have cherry!! she’s super cool… i like her lots. nepo baby that wants to run vegas herself as a way to get back at her family for disowning her (long story) + learns about love and friendship and kindness and also backstabbing along the way! i can’t draw so i mostly make pinterest boards for characters but yeah… i love my ocs. trying to flesh out the rest of her family at the minute too bc they were (to me) pretty prominent figures in the wasteland until around 50 or so years before the events of new vegas!!

2) christine and veronica are so dear to me!!! canon lesbians in a video game… i do wish they didn’t fall into the trappings of gays with unhappy endings but yk. 2010 so i suppose it was par for the course. as for christine staying in the sierra madre i have mixed feelings- ultimately i like it narratively, i think christine becoming a guardian is very fitting. the sierra madre houses vera keyes, a woman who had her life derailed and destroyed by the greed, cruelty, rivalry and jealousy of two men. in a similar vein, christine royce had her own life- and her love- uprooted and snuffe out by a cruel and greedy man too. it makes poetic sense to me that christine would stay to guard the sierra madre. christine/vera parallels are so srs to me and i would definitely go into way more detail at another point but im trying to keep this concise because you didn’t ask to be blasted with my dead money brainrot. anyway also i find it oddly beautiful that a place with such a dark past can perhaps become a safe haven like it should always have been now that christine is there. my one issue is that there’s no option to inform veronica of where christine is or anything but i know this was due to technical limitations and nothing else so i don’t harp on the devs too much for this.

3) benny maybe… i think doing an independent run with benny as the companion makes soooo much sense and i do think an ending where you both take vegas is super fun. but i have the benny companion mod so i don’t think he counts as an answer here for me personally. in terms of what would be best for gameplay id say a legion companion would be interesting as while i dont play legion nor do i like them, i think its a shame they’re underdeveloped. victor as a companion could be rlly fun! good for a house run and id love a securitron companion anyway :) id also love to port ulysses to the main game as a companion 💔💔💔 and then obvious popular answer sunny smiles my angel <3

i forgot to add quests!!! god actually i’m gonna have to think abt this one but i think for benny an interesting quest would be anything to do with the boot riders… will nvr forgive the lack of backstory we get for him in the game. legion companion could potentially involve visiting old settlements and learning about their history? it would be interesting for a legion companion to be someone disheartened with the legion’s methods, kind of like veronica (BUT NOT LIKE VERONICA) , and you can ultimately talk them into leaving (good karma) or convince them to stay with you and the legion (bad karma). i’m not sure on specifics for victor but given that he’s a cowboy likely inspired by old world western movies it could be so fun to have a quest that follows the plot of some famous western movie… big dramatic shootout at high noon. fun times. ulysses i’m split on bc i think it’s entirely contingent on how you interact with him in lonesome road and which faction you’re aligned with as there’s a lotttt of ways he can feel about you due to all of these factors that might make creating one Definitive companion quest hard. as for sunny idk. something that lets us go back to goodsprings ^_^ very last minute but i also think a great khan companion would be nice mostly bc i like the khans and the narrative is so awful to them
