I really like the person I've grown into. Turns out I am actually pretty impulsive when I'm not paralyzed by general terror and anxiety, which is a lot of fun! Great time. Would recommend the mid-20s as an age range. This is infinitely better than being a teenager.

as someone whose family only EXISTS because my mother and grandmother were fully willing to cut terrible blood relations out of their lives, i really think more people should be cutting off their shitty family members. both irl and in fiction. cut them out. you don't need them, you don't want them, they're terrible to you? congratulations, i am absolving you of any obligation you feel you have to this person. i don't care if they sired you or grew you in their uterus, i don't care if they paid for your clothes and your schooling, i don't care if you lived with them for 20 years. if they're terrible to you, cut them off!!!

(i made this ages ago and didn’t get to post it before the end of spring . . . i have a lovely neighbour who keeps the most beautiful little garden. she is in her 90s and very inspiring. i like to watch her tend to her rose bushes from my window. i’ve been trying to hang out with her more frequently. it sparks joy and i love hearing her talk about her plants.   i hope she finds the company enjoyable too...   i am teaching her about succulents, which is the only kind of plant i can claim any sort of expertise on. i have a few baby ones to gift her once they get a little stronger. i originally made lion sprout for her, she has one she can hang in the garden)
