a couple hours goes by, and Jack was still caring for Ryan. Eventually he got hungry, so Jack went off and gently sat him on the couch and said he’d go get him something to eat/drink. As Ryan waited on the couch he was curious about his surroundings, I mean, there’s a ton of alien robots around him!! Who wouldn’t be curious? So, he started to babble loud, loud enough for some bots to hear. The first ones to hear was the boys playing basketball.

All four of them surrounded Ryan and looked down at him confusingly, “uh.” Started Bulkhead, “What do you think he wants?..” “not sure.” Wheeljack answered back. “What if he wants to play basketball with us??” Smokescreen suggested, taking the metal scrapped ball over Ryan’s head like he was gonna drop it on him. “BEEP BEEP BEEP BEEPPPDJXJSJSJ” (SMOKESCREEN PLS DONT. AHHHHHH) Bee screamed, slapping the ball out of smokescreens hand. “Hey! What gives??” Smokescreen said. “I don’t think you’re supposed to offline the thing.” Wheeljack said, blinking at smokescreen. “oh. We’re not?..” said smokescreen. Arcee was just watching the whole thing disappointed 🤦🏻‍♀️

That fella is Emperor Geta (played by my Boy Of All Time Joseph Quinn) from the new movie Gladiator 2, which at least in Finland is in cinemas atm. I'm not sure which countries it's out right now tho. Geta and his brother Caracalla (Fred Hechinger, amazing brilliant showstopping kicking my feet and screaming into the backrest of the movie goer in front of me performance) were the stars of the film even though they were side characters. Woulda watched a whole ass movie centered around them fr. I love them both so much, the actors' performances were pure diamond imo, unhinged and hilarious (some say camp) at times. And yeah I know i'm super biased about them loool. The movie in gen, well, i wont go too much into it but there were some visual shit that made me giggle in hysterics like "WTFFFFFF IS THAT" and there were some outrageous inaccuracies that made me wanna kick and scream but but buuuut. It was ok, will watch again when it hits the streaming sites. For the plot. Purely. The plot maybe being aforementioned emperor brothers whom i love so dearly. Long story short: i always recommend watching movies!

1. Do you prefer writing one-shots or multi-chaptered fics?

they definitely both hold their own appeal to me but these days my brain seems to be stuck in multi-chap mode where all i want to do is build out a world and watch a few characters move through an insanely long period of time but god i miss writing one-shots. there was such a feeling of accomplishment with being able to finish Many Fics in a relatively short period of time

12. how does receiving or not receiving feedback/support impact you?

i mean it definitely feels bad when i don't get feedback or support, but that's also not like... New i guess. i have one-shots and stuff on my ao3 that are years old and have less than 200 kudos and maybe like. 5 or 6 comment threads. like it Sucks for sure, but as much as i love attention and bonding over my writing and the community aspect of fic and fandom in general, it's not why i write i have lamented about it and i have begged for comments and attention, but even without them i am still chugging along. it really do just be like that sometimes KJSDBVKJDFVB

i love seeing morally grey characters suffer the consequences of their own actions and the fact that for now i’m just watching them idling away drowning themselves in cigarettes and alcohol and whatever else they can find and how easy it is to read and consume on a daily basis feels like a win to me!

i do have a few “hmmmmmmm 🤨” moments with the book though but those questionable things are better unpacked somewhere else, where someone else can dissect it better.

GOD yes. tennis is soooooo expensive, it takes approx 1 billion dollars to pay for lessons, court time, coaching, travel, accommodation, gear, etc etc. :// You get paid if you win. let me say that again: you get paid if you WIN. there aren't salaries! early in your career, you are HEMORRHAGING money, esp if you have a coach. the travel is fricken expensive all by itself!! and if you're paying a coach as well you're either in debt or you're playing with house money if you catch my drift. (tennis players often come from wealth, much like f1 drivers — they can also be sponsored, sometimes by their country, but usually only if & while they're successful!!)

if you do well, you start to win, maybe you make money, more likely you're breaking even for a while (or even still losing). if you do REALLY well, then you're looking at more prize money and maybe sponsors, so then you can start making some real money out of this. but yeah it's CRAaaaaaazy how much money tennis players pay to play tennis lol!! it is 10000% a problem for getting underprivileged kids into tennis, there's a reason tennis is so white!
