Just slapping a big ol’ trigger warning on this post for mental issues of all kinds, feeling unstable tonight lmao 🫠

holy fucking fuck my mind is literally broken tonight. I swear I have experienced every range of emotion multiple times all within the space of a few hours. Anger sadness joy elation nervousness isolation suicidal ideation thoughts of sh feeling like I’m not good enough and ruined my whole entire life. And over and back again 😭

This is truly exhausting I can’t. I smoked my last joint and even tho it’s supposed to be an indica it worked me up even more and now I’m wired and it’s 1:30 am and I’m supposed to go back to work tomorrow LOL. I’m strongly considering calling off tomorrow because with the way my mind is going, I’m afraid I won’t be in a good headspace to work anyway, so maybe I should just take a mental day to get myself sorted.

Except… maybe this is hard to explain, but I know I’m starting to get manic when I have the physical sensation of being on a roller coaster. Not so much motion sickness, but the inside of my body feels like I’m on a very fast vehicle, even though my mind knows I’m not actually moving at all. And I am very very tense all over and keep having to consciously relax all the muscles in my body. So, all signs point to my brain malfunctioning currently lmao.

Maybe I just need to sleep. Unfortunately, I have to start work at 8 am so I won’t be getting much sleep, but some is always better than none. I just feel so tortured I don’t want to sleep :( I feel so painfully, darkly alone. Like there’s a heavy black pit at the center of my heart that aches. Relationship, friends, family, I’ve fucked up all these relationships and they’ve all fucked me up too. There’s so much hurt everywhere in so many of my memories. I’m hurting over things that haven’t even happened yet. It’s like my mind wants me to live in depression and suffering and sadness for forever and normally I’ve gotten pretty good at not getting like this but tonight wow. Not tonight.

You really can’t hide from your feelings forever — they do catch up with you. And tonight they caught up with me 😔 At least I was able to write out a little here, but I really need to journal and also…. Fucking start therapy again lmao. Ah, that’s a fight for another day.

It took me like over 20 minutes to type all this out LOL I feel a little calmer now. I was going to play violet before bed but I think I do feel sleepy enough to fall asleep so I should probably roll with that feeling and force myself to go to work tomorrow… I did a good job with eating way less today, only had a coffee w/ creamer, a small plate of leftovers, ramen w/ pb, some crackers and vegan cheese and wine!!! Ok that sounds like a lot when written all out but it’s way less than what I’ve been eating this week, so I’m counting that as a win and ready to start again tomorrow! So at least there’s that.

So what did I learn today folks?

Well a lot. For starter Spot Conlon is in fact Spot Conlon, and not Spot Collin. Not only did everyone fail to inform me of this as I have committed many errors, I got a whole #spot collin tag smh, but I’ve been in this fandom for a year and never even realised I had it wrong. I’ve read the livesies and 92sies script, the damn 90′s novel and many fanfics/posts, watched both movies multiple times yet it never hit me.

Now yes, this is bad for me, but better than my mother. To be fair, she’s watched Newsies once if it even counts. She was barely paying attention but considering how much I talk about it, she knows enough about it. 

Anyway.

I was on a call with Chandler ( @tarantulas4davey ) and asked my mother if she thought Collin and Conlon sounded the same. I was explaining frantically “no no no but Jack says ‘Spot COLLIN’S turf!!!’ LISTEN!!” then played *that* scene. She confirms: Conlon does, in fact, sound like Collin. (I told you it was an Aussie thing smh)

Then before she leaves, she says “At least you weren't calling him Scott Pollen!”

We laughed over Scott, then she asks “Is it not Scott?”

She thought it was S C O T T.

I may be a mess, but at least I knew his first name was Spot, not Scott. And yes, I was right, Conlon and Collin sound the same.

oh my god there’s so many of them .. mila is definitely oranges and green tea. she uses green tea lotion, but the smells just remind me of her as a person since this is what we’re basing it on

i know we’re not really doing LITERAL scents, but hyeyoung unnie uses this givenchy perfume, l’interdit. it smells floral, but with spice. she reminds me of clean laundry and roses.

evie unnie is like paint. she’s an artist, so when i smell paint, i think of her. and champagne!! floral scents remind me of her as well, but bright floral scents, not the soft ones like hyeyoung. and rain. mixed bag

jaemin oppa reminds me of clean but slightly floral smells. i think if i had to pick a smell for him, it’d be this one aloe and rose toning spray i have. lavender is also a good one for him. calming smells

jeno oppa is like a soap? yknow just the regular body soap with no added scent? it still smells good and it’s just nice and familiar. also, like when something is baking in the oven on an early morning.

fullsun is like if you’re walking somewhere nice and catch a scent of some nearby flowers and freshy cut grass. the way summer days smelled when i was a child. i also would choose honeysuckle for him

renjun oppa is like a forest? he also reminds me of the smell of books, or paper. i’d also pick a beach, but on a cloudy day and there aren’t many people around and the air. he’s like nature

jisung reminds me of the summer nights smell where you have a bonfire. do you all know what i mean? i dunno, it just fits him! and he’s like a nice fresh smell. maybe like when the air smells colder.

chenle reminds me of a pool and i don’t know how to explain that. on another note, mint. he always has a bit of a minty smell in person, too, so that’s probably why. also cologne because he has a lot of it

mark oppa really reminds me of just... that comfortable home smell? and candles? i think amber and cashmere too... those warm, comfy scents. laundry and clean hair. nice smells. he doesn’t wear cologne btw but he always smells nice
