Noritoshi'd be cautious at first. A snake is a reptile that should be treated carefully. Assuming the snake belongs to you, he'd ask questions. It's natural to be curious, and who knows a snake better than its owner?

He'd want to hold it but wouldn't feel ready unless you insisted it was okay. That and you'd have to guide him along the way.

Noritoshi is fascinated by things he doesn't get to experience often, so he might fall in love with the little scaly friend right then and there. The longer you look at him the longer you can catch small glimmers of fascination in him as he looks on at the snake.

Oh, how he'd run his mouth with questions faster than you could answer. "How often does it shed?" "What conditions does it like to sleep in?" "Do you really feed it rats?" "Is there a difference between a male and female snake?" "What do you do to entertain it?" and so many more. It's alright if you don't know an answer, he'll just write it down and find out on his own later.

A pretty snake like it's pretty owner, he thinks.

Diana on a new background story for John, his storyline in book 10 and future Lord John novels/novellas. She also mentions The Haunted Soldier (apparently there’s something that happens in that novella that is going to be important for John in book 10?) and how his storyline in s8 will be a bit different from what she plans to do in book 10.

lime hearing theres gonna be an awesome meteor shower visible from the capitols outskirts and hatching a whole plan to take mochi on a stargazing date. hes over there pulling all the stops, bringing pillows and blankets and a pop-up mattress, (somewhat) forcefully getting taffy to lend him his truck, bringing snacks and picnic dinner, the whole time thinking "Hehe, the perfect date idea. She's gonna eat this shit up and fall in love with me no problem."

but then of course like a hundred other people had the same genius idea as him so the location has tons of people. including the other guild members. (he didnt tell them where he was taking mochi so they couldnt follow him. by coincidence they also went to the same place. maybe not coincidence, limes idea for a spot isnt exactly a hidden location)

my favorite part of the museum tonight was these two elderly indian men whose accents i immediately recognized cause you cant attend carn*egie mel*lon without learning to recognize indian accents. Anyway like the kids they stood behind me and watched me draw for a while, and im used to old people in the gardens being kind of patronizing, but these two very grandfatherly men were watching me very seriously. and after they announced the museum was closing i started getting ready to go and both the old men were like 'thats amazing!' and so sweet about it that I showed them the other drawings i did and their response was 'wow!' and that the museum should put my art in the exhibit. and it was just the nicest most genuine compliment, i loved that they were very kindly enjoying watching my doodling live it was just cool :)

Clawd was in the pride comic, so there is a chance he will be in future issues! Also the book wrote out Gil, but he appears in the first issue so there may be a faint hope.

Maaaybe. I honestly wouldn't be this butthurt otherwise, but I saw a post of someone alleging that the Wolf parents are divorcing in the comics, and Clawd was gonna go live with their dad. I guess that could still mean he'd attend Monster High, but seems like a weird detail to add if it didn't mean he wasn't gonna be around anymore.

In the movies and webisodes he was rarely ever part of the plot if it wasn't in relation to Draculaura, so now that they aren't dating, even if he is still around, I have my doubts he'll be all that relevant.
