okay so william morris was a designer from the late 1800s who pioneered the arts & crafts movement, BUTTTTTT his daughter may was the one behind a lot of teh wallpaper designs which went uncredited to her, & also did teh actual embroidering, which takes A Really Long Time, on a bunch of the wall hangings & cushion covers etc, and Every Time i see a william morris pattern on anything i think of her. every. time.
