Picture this. I don’t want a fanfiction, I don’t even want art of it, just think about it.

Erik living with Magda in Poland, living in secret as Henryk. Hes not magneto, and doesn’t use his powers, and lets himself live a normal life with his wife and newborn child.

But that’s not all true, he has been using his powers, just a little bit. They won’t notice, he thinks, what harm could it do?

The ring on Magdas hand almost seems to burn, not painfully, just warmth, when Henryk approaches, he can feel it, it’s reassuring. When no one is looking, the cutlery and dishes do seem to fly a little faster into the draws when he cleans.

There’s never problems with the car, he never burns food, and he’s never insecure about Magda.

When Nina arrives, he kicks it up a notch. She falls, the necklace she got for her first birthday catches her just in time before Henryk can grab her. The toy car hardly gets baby spittle on it before it is confiscated. Her toys really do seem to come alive when they play, it’s magical.

An underutilized dynamic in the x-men fandom is Charles and Magda being besties. Like, Erik introduces them, terrified they’re going to hate each other or feeling like he’s betraying Magda for loving Charles as well as her, but the two of them love each other.

Like Magda immediately is like “this is the man my husband loves and if Eric loves him, he must be worth it” and Charles has the exact same thought about her.

Eric is there panicking while Magda is already introducing Charles as her husband’s boyfriend and Charles is running errands for her and making her food on Shabbat.
