When Isagi first discovered he liked you, his first instinct was to become your personal "maid", while also following you around like a shadow. Everytime you needed help, he'd be the first to do so. Everytime you passed by each other on the halls, he tried to make your shoulders touch. Everytime you forgot your lunch, he gave you his, even if he spent the rest of the day hungry as hell. Everytime someone bad mouthed you, you can bet Yoichi was right there, ready to beat someone up. He's the perfect gentleman, through and throughout.

When Reo realized he was in love with you, he showered you with gifts. You couldn't spend a single day without recieving tons of your favorite things, even after you told him he didn't need to get you anything: favorite food, merch of your favorite show, etc etc. And you can bet no one can hurt you, his beloved. Hiori managed to ditch some practices just to spend more time with you. It was NOT and easy feat: it looked like his parents knew where he was at all times (do they have a tracker on his phone or something? Oh wait. They probably do), and he had a perfect made schedule he needed to follow strictly. Even so, he managed to fool his parents (with the help of Karasu, who lied to them, telling him he was at practice, bless him for it) and take a break from football for a while. And when you both are laying in the grass and looking at the sky while you carres his hair gently, he can't help but close his eyes and wonder if this is the closest he'll ever get to freedom. When he opens his eyes again and see you, he also can't help but notice that, if you're the closest thing he has to happiness, he doesn't want nor need anything else.

So yeah, that affirmation is just ridiculous. When a man is really in love with a woman, he does everything in his powers to be close to her. And here's the proof.

5x14 My Bloody Valentine is driving me batshit!!! Cas asking, "Where's your hunger dean?" was very bold but between that and at the very end when Dean is praying but just saying, "Please" it got me thinking. I know Famine told him that he is empty inside but we all know that is bs so what if Dean's hunger is just to be taken care of. He has been a caretaker his entire life what if he just wants someone to ask him how his day is and take the reigns from him. I think he just wants a damn break.

His hunger stood out from everyone else's because his hunger had to be something that only others could give to him and not something like food or sex which he could actively seek out instead of going "rabid" for it like most of the people in the town did he just reacted by not doing anything at all. He didn't go out to a bar on Valentine's Day, and he didn't eat his dinner. He didn't get violent like most others but he was not taking care of himself. Eventually, not socializing or eating or doing any of his normal activities would have harmed him and maybe even killed him which is where Famine came into play.

I think that when Famine told him that he was empty inside it meant that he doesn't really want anything which on the surface is just that he's dead inside but I think there is a deeper meaning of feeling unloved and not taken care of so in trying to satisfy his hunger he just stopped taking care of himself thinking/hoping that others would.

also, its possible by constantly hating on cis-het people, even as a joke you can actually become prejudiced twords them, especially if its very normal in your friend group to hate on straight people. “othering” a group of people in your mind based on ANY mundane characteristic like gender or sexuality can have pretty negative impacts on you and your relationship with your community. the more people think like this, the more divided the community becomes. if you aren’t careful you may cut yourself off from being able to have actual communication and understanding with the group you’ve othered (as prejudice leads one to do), that cut off of communication can lead to misinformation -and more discrimination coming from both your side and the other.

also it can keep you from some sick ass friendships.

this can especially suck in a school or work environment.

Hot take but I really do think that some of y’all need to consider how/why/when/how often you’re making fun of straight people for being straight

I do it too, I’m not going to pretend I don’t make jokes about the hets, or the down with cis bus, or whatever

But I recently befriended a cis, straight dude and I have watched him be dismissed, degraded, and unambiguously insulted for the perceived “crime” of being straight — all in queer environments where he is allegedly “completely welcome” and surrounded by “friends”

This guy is not a toxic person! But I have seen him be made to feel so small and like his comfort and safety in those spaces are conditional on his silence and acceptance of being treated like a human dunk zone, and I think that some of y’all have had so much shit from straight/cis people that the second you feel like you’ve got an inch, you want to luxuriate in the perceived catharsis of bullying someone who— actually —doesn’t deserve it

And until he very, very carefully mentioned to me in private that it makes him feel bad, I didn’t even clock that I was involved in doing that, that it had become so instinctive for me to make casual jokes like that, and that— well meaning or otherwise —I had been contributing to an environment that made someone I really really like feel like shit

So, I dunno, I think maybe some of y’all should think about that too
