An in-depth bullet point list, regarding the lore of my PC

Full government name is Vanida Thompson

Born from an ongoing sexual affair between her mother who was an unnamed sex worker & her father, an infamous underground fighter / thug

Her father & Bailey grew up in the Orphanage together and were childhood friends ( & maybe more ); before her father was arrested for killing her mother when she was only 3yrs of age

Vanida has no idea who her parents are, and her father's connection with Bailey

Originally, was someone very sweet. A bit clumsy in her execution, but was someone very earnest and determined. Never wanted to exclude anyone and tried becoming friends with everyone.

Had a big baby crush on Sydney that helped her power through horrors ( unknown to Sydney who was still in the closet ), but also made her spiral more when things kept getting worse ( "An angel like her would never date someone filthy like me." )

Thought Avery was into her at first, and was very excited about being noticed by her until she realized that Avery bought her from Bailey

Used to work vigorously at the Cafe until she passed out, got recommended for therapy by Harper. Never went to a single appointment because she kept forgetting due to work. She never misses a single payment!!

Lost her virginity to the nun at the Temple when she was trying to get lichen for the Science Fair. Now, she hates the Temple with a burning passion and thinks they are the worst

Kept getting assaulted so much, that she succumbed for a bit; becoming a sex worker at the Brothel since "might as well make money off of it"

Went through a 2 year phase of anger and apathy. Would let anyone date her, or sleep with her. ( Which HC Whitney then dated after; cause we love gay girls who try to be close with the girl they like by taking their 'things' )

Her relationship with Whitney started the night they had one night stand at the Pub, when Vanida was trying to score clients. Got claimed as Whitney's girlfriend the next day. She didn't think Whitney was serious about their relationship until Whitney showed up to the Orphanage and pulled a gun on Bailey in the winter of their third high school year. ( Vanida also earned a gun kink )

Is now Whitney's number 1 ride or die. Wanting to please her so much, while also wanting to take a page from her book on riding the chaos, that Vanida changed her whole look & personality ( sorta ) (( this is how we got Vanida of today ))

Presents herself now as someone very chatty & sociable. Charming and almost ditzy-like with how she giggles and smiles to make people like her. She still is writhing and rolling around in her hatred and anger under her mask. She hates, or resents, almost everyone. Has become someone extremely mean-spirited.

Decided to use her body for something more productive, and that's by using her sex to have almost the entire town at her beck & call. Most will do anything to just have a chance with her, and Vanida takes full abuse of it. Her demonic transformation really helps with this.

Sees all relationships as transactional & only develops bonds that she thinks will provide use for her ( either socially, or protection ). As a result, it is almost near impossible for Vanida to cultivate a normal, healthy bond with others that is genuine.

The only ones she has a semi-normal bond is Bailey and Niki, because they both are upfront with their intentions with her, and don't seek her out sexually.

HC that she gets into a lot of yelling fights with Bailey, resulting in getting her ass beat by him. It's how they father-daughter bond

Loves going to 'parties' with Avery, because the more secrets she knows, the more she can use them for her own benefit. Knowledge is power ♡

A top student, with big popularity. The town calls her Venus, the criminal underground call her Sabre

A hedonist

The Underground Farm has tried kidnapping her, but she always manages to escape somehow. Remy just admit you're obsessed with her-/j

Her end goal is to have total control of the entire town for the sole reason to humiliate everyone in power for letting a "slut" have power over them. Bailey is somehow spared in this plan because Vanida has a soft spot for him, because he was the only person to check on her when she'd crash out in early gameplay. Even if all he did was yell at her.

Please correct me If I'm wrong, but didn't Playdough's whole beef with Bechdel trying to reframe her as a TERF start originally because escentially she wanted to prove that HOMESTUCK is somehow more deep and influencial and important queer media than DTWOF?? I have no idea if homestuck is actually that queer in it's content, but this incident made me realize something very common about pretentious cult-like groups like TRF and Tankies.

A TERF has defined political views. There is a lot going on with them. You cannot take one belief or action in particular, such as Bechdel softly supporting some sex-segregated spaces, and call her a TERF when she's praxis in much bigger, material ways. It's not just about Homestuck with Plaidos, or TERFs in general. It's also about the fact that Bechdel ever did anything that had anything to do with the idea that some people are more wymynly than them, which they take personal offense to that overshadows, oh, I don't know, loud and consistent advocacy for children having access to HRT? Any real transfeminist would recognize that matters infinitely more. But with these people, that's not the issue. They don't care about anything but how badly it hurt them to hypothetically not be welcome to a shitty music festival, and Bechdel having went - even if she criticized it's policies - is basically the same as having flaunted her gender assignment to intentionally make them dysphoric.

But Bechdel supports minors getting HRT. She supports them being in women's bathrooms. A lot of TERFs have identical conversations about her.

So what makes her a TERF? Because she went to a party you weren't invited to?

Do you understand how pathetic this makes you look?

It's gross and TERF-y to say trans women as a category are jealous of people AFAB on some level but when you prioritize like this where being let into the club is the one big all-consuming deal over things like Bechdel repeatedly going to bat for minors having HRT, and they obsessively treat trans men the way they do...

Like, listen. TRFs. My friends. You're women. I promise you you're Trve Wymyn. Please get over not having been AFAB. I've been a very staunch supporter of trans ppl for years. I have learned to swallow my discomfort around some of the things said in those circles. When they said it was transphobic for lesbians to not like dick, I bit my tongue. I told myself, "this is just the loud minority" and to be fair I do think that is the minority but still ... as a lesbian I wasn't even able to talk about people who argued that because "it never happens. No one says that. That sounds like a transphobic lie." And I hate the constant assertions that gender is real, innate, and that everyone feels it. I can't describe my own experiences with growing up as a woman without someone telling me that maybe I'm nonbinary ... no thanks I tried that for a while. I respect everyone's gender, or I want to, but apparently doing that also requires me to put that oppressive structure onto myself and act like it's liberating.

The final snapping point for me was a trans woman telling me that I'm privileged for being a cis woman because I've never experienced dysphoria ... except I have. I grew up with intense thoughts about my body and hating my vagina and breasts. It was never that bad but I would often imagine mutilating. I'm in a better place now but I still feel some discomfort over my body sometimes. And when I expressed this to her, she asked me if I was really cis or was still questioning ...

They act like misogyny doesn't exist or something. I just ... I disagree with a lot of radical feminists beliefs or at least I think I do. But for years I have felt like radfems were the only ones even talking about misogyny anymore so idk

Anyway what I wanted to say is that I really like your posts and perspectives and thanks for this blog. I want to learn more and question more and your blog has become a helpful resource to help me start thinking critically about some things

And yeah, you are totally right. I have also spent such a long time justifying gender ideology because I really wanted it to be right. I’ve excused so much weird behaviour with weird mental gymnastics because I didn’t want to accept that I had been wrong for such a long time. 

The entire “that never happens” thing - and then you show them an occasion where it happened, and they say “well, it doesn’t happen that much”. And yeah, people have suggested me being non-binary as well. I mean, by strict gender definitions I am non-binary because I don’t identify as a woman lmao. Just as the “you’re uncomfortable in your body?? what about fucking cutting it up??!!!!” thing. 

And for disagreeing with feminist beliefs, the thing is that being a feminist is not a package deal. You are not being some sort of heretic if you disagree with certain things, and I know that I am most probably wrong on a lot of stuff myself. If I wasn’t, I would be the first person who is always right in human history. And yes, even in feminist spaces, there is sometimes some sort of imperative to follow every single belief or you are not a “real feminist”. But being a feminist is not an identity, it is an action. It is an action towards yourself, in the workplace, in interaction with other women and men, in your consumption, in your voting, in how you support women in your personal life and how you do political action. So yeah, I would say that it is less important whether you follow every rule of the radical feminist catechism and more important to support women in your life (which includes yourself). At least, that’s my opinion.

 Honestly, he has no idea what’s been going on with his partner but seeing his partner in distress and even trying to pick himself up like this- It makes him concerned.

 You both agreed not to drink too much and thankfully both of you stayed true to that. So maybe he’ll have a heart-to-heart with you on the ride back to camp. Anything to see what is up with the sudden jitters from you.

 “(Name), it’s about time to go,” Javier says loudly making you stop sputtering your self-speech.

 You exit the privy and lean against it trying to look all suave. Javier raises an eyebrow at the sudden change of behavior as you smile widely. This is the moment you’ve been waiting all day for. The moment you’ve been practicing for. If it fails, you will have other moments but it’s time to see how your Javi will react.

 You muster up all the confidence you’ve been building and in a deep voice say, “Si besarte fuera pescado, caminaría feliz por el infierno.” (If kissing you were a fish, I’d happily walk through hell.)

 Javier’s eyes are wide with surprise before something twinkles in them. His lips twitch before he lets out a chuckle. “That was… hot and cute. You almost said that right,” Javier states feeling a bit proud of you.

 You look at him a bit confused and ask, “What part did I mess up?”

 “You meant to say pecado (sin). Not pescado. Pescado is fish. Nice try though,” Javier complements.

 You are surprised that he didn’t tease you that much. Instead, he was helpful. Too bad this is the only one you actually knew. The others … you have no clue what they mean but you did your best to learn how to say them by heart.

 “I’ll have to give you a… a… What is it called?” Javier suddenly looks confused.

 You stare at him as he points to his lips and tries to recall it. Having done this charade game before with him, you start saying a few words in hopes that it’ll help him remember.

 “Warning, word, speech, lips, kiss, shou-

 Javier snaps his finger, “Kiss! I’ll have to give you one at camp for trying to flirt. Oh, where’d you learn all that by the way?”

 There is no way you are going to tell him about the Spanish speaking girls who have turned into your wing women.

 Anyway, you may have dealt your favorite card and wrongly but you have three more to try out.

It’s been a few days and you finally decide to pull out the next line you learned. You don’t care if it goes wrong at all. Seeing how happy Javier gets from hearing you speak his native tongue makes you beyond happy.

 Thankfully, he seems to be doing guard duty. It won’t take but a few minutes of his time and surely you’ll risk it just to see his expression. You walk away from the camp after your own chore is done or planning a mission is done and head his way.

 His spot is a bit within the trees so it’s perfect to not be spotted by enemies or your fellow campers. Especially nosy people like Susan or Micah who seems to hate your relationship with Javier. Your blood boils at the thought of him saying “it ain’t right”.

 Everyone else has been supportive and you are thankful for it.

 Now you gotta focus at your task at hand in order to not be called out by anyone for disturbing someone on guard duty. You’re quick and spot your man and rush over to him, immediately leaning against a tree.

 Javier is staring at you a bit confused until you speak.

 ��¿Tienes un mapa? Me he encontrado en tus ojos.” (Do you have a map? I seem to have found myself in your eyes).

 He bursts out laughing.

 You remain confident as you ask, “What did I say and what does it mean?”

 When he calms down he explains immediately what you said wrong, and you know you misspoke something to get a reaction like that.

 “A pick-up line that made no sense, mi amor (my love),” Javier states before he translates what you had said.

 “Do you have a map? I seem to have found myself in your eyes. A common pick-up line but you said it wrong. You misplaced lost with found. It would’ve been ‘I seem to have lost myself in your eyes’ so instead of encontrado it would be perdido. Would you be willing to try again?” Javier asks with that expression you love.

 His expression is love-filled and joy from spending time with you. He doesn’t need to ask you twice.

 “¿Tienes un mapa? Me he perdido en tus ojos.”

“¿Hace calor aqui, o eres tù?” (Is it hot in here or is it just you?)

 Your voice comes out raspy and Javier stops all movement. Both of you are huddled close to the fire as the others sleep.

 “You… You actually sounded perfect,” Javier says with amusement.

 You nod your head before rubbing the back of your neck. It takes him a moment to realize why you suddenly turned embarrassed.

 “You have no idea what that meant, do you?” He questions with a chuckle.

Your cheeks feel warm from the slight embarrassment but you feel more eager to know what it means. So, you admit it with pride. Javier feels a rush go through his stomach at how genuine you are and the love he feels for you grows immensely.

“Is it hot in here or is it just you?” He repeats in English.

 It takes a moment before your cheeks heat up and he laughs at your proud smile. In the heat of the moment, you try out the next line you should’ve saved.

 “Eres guapo. ¿Quieres ser mi novia?” (You are cute. Do you want to be my girlfriend?)

 This time Javier’s laugh comes out a bit too loud and he is quick to muffle himself by plunging his face into your shoulder. It takes a couple of moments for him to gather himself before he pulls away slightly.

 “Sorry (Name). That was just perfect timing for that one, though you made a slight novice mistake. Do you know what you said?” Javier asks with a raised eyebrow.

 You can’t do a poker face. Your smile is wide as your cheeks somehow become hotter as you admit, “I only know I called you cute? At least I hope I did?”

 “You did! The rest was asking me to be your girlfriend,” He says the amusement laced as his accent seems more prominent.

 Ah, you wish your wing women would’ve clarified the lines they taught you. Oh well, beggars can’t be choosers with learning the language of love. Javier takes your hand in his and he seems content with this moment.

 “The correct way to say it for us would be novio (boyfriend). ¿Quieres ser mi novio? Do you want to be my boyfriend. Since we are already sweet on each other we would refer to each other as such or mi pareja, my partner,” Javier murmurs as he places a kiss on the rough skin of your knuckles.

 You test it out feeling the tip of your tongue tingle at the new word and a bright smile on your face.

I once read a hilarious fanfic where some Star Wars characters traveled to B5 and bought a shitload of data crystals, which turned out to be kyber, and this reminded me of that.

When I was looking up what the episode was called, I saw that Lyta-from-the-Gathering would be coming back and I'm so excited for this! I hope she and Talia get along.

I support women who don't want children, but there's a huge misconception on who has access to birth control which includes hysterectomies. If you as a childless person think you can go to a doctor before the age of 30 and get approved for one easily, you're wrong lmao. In fact, the childless people who do get hysterectomies are lucky. This form of birth control which removes the chance of pregnancy completely is quite inaccessible unless you're privileged, able-bodied or rich and those are the women the middle class and impoverished class say should be having kids. Lmao.

Rich people are not having children just to put them off into the Capitalistic Slave Trade. Those kids are fast tracked to become your doctors. Those kids grow up and vote in the interest of themselves and now look who's president. But yeah, rich people are the only people who should only have children. God knows the middle class is fucked.

So when childless people shame disenfranchised women for having children, it's insane. I wasn't even supposed to be on hormonal birth control and what, I did the Mirena twice and it rejected. Nuva Ring. Pills.

Oh yeah and that arm implant is giving women brain tumors, I ducked that one.

I was told I couldn't get an IUD again. Wasn't until after I had my child I was informed otherwise. Getting diagnosed with a genetic heart condition just after giving birth and they're scanning my legs for dangerous blood clots because I was on all that hormonal birth control for years. And yeah, when I brought up my shortness of breath, I was written off, wasn't asked if I had a history with it (I did), it was just, "that's normal for pregnancy," because nothing happens to Black women ever.

If heart disease affects Black women disproportionately, Black women shouldn't be offered hormonal birth control, but that is the most accessible form of birth control. There are probably other diseases that don't mix with hormonal birth control, too, I just can't think of them. I feel like you already have to be diagnosed with your condition to have a say because I wanted an IUD and I got ushered out with a script for pills. They'll push the pills on you before anything else regardless of race because the pills are a continuous script and they're profitable. But that also means that if you can't afford your co-pay and you have unprotected sex, you end up pregnant anyway. And an abortion costs hundreds of dollars and I don't know of them to be usually covered by insurance. So now what? Lmao.

Mind you, the chances of being chronically ill have just gone up because of COVID, which is cardiovascular, it's all but guaranteed, but like nobody wears a mask anymore.

Eugenics (and racism) plays a big part in policing women's bodies, too and it's not just physical illness, it's also mental illness.

Childless people (including young, able-bodied men) and mothers, both of these demographics who know they don't want any or more children will be made out to be crazy.

So in Canada, they're offering euthanization to people with mental illness. And I wouldn't doubt that childless people and parents who don't want more children will be considered to be mentally ill if they refuse to play the reproduction game. Either that... or jail.

TL;DR: Your reproductive rights are fucked. Your healthcare system is fucked. The employees are fucked. Everything is fucked. You're attacking the wrong people.

great, really loved - tucker & dale vs evil (horror comedy that will always be famous. to me.); get out (i like us and nope as well but get out to me is like the tightest writing of the three. and then nope and then us.); it ch1 (i have a fond memory of seeing this on my birthday so i have a bias for it :]); annihilation (i love sci-fi horror films so fucking much. ik there's big differences between the book and the film but i cannot wait to read the book anyway!); mandy (i have got to get high and watch this. epic film)

opinion on dunmeshi 🫵🫵🫵‼️‼️‼️

It got me out of a really dark place. I struggle with eating at least two meals a day, regularly. The main theme of the story being food, and each episode having at least one recipe, all while having an engaging worldbuilding and storyline and a diverse cast of contrasting characters and the way the women are handled (author said: I support women's rights and women's wrongs and I find that beautiful) and just how much I can relate to so many characters and have so much love for them and they all feel whole on their own, their own person, yet find comradeship in each other... it's good, really. There's so much to love i dunmeshi. My strongest yuri ship is Farcille, out of all non yuri media or just in general. Farcille art makes my heart warm and soft. I like seeing them married and I have the most scenarios I'd want to develop in fic for them, out of all yuri ships I have. I love the other yuri ships dearly and like the art of them too, but I'm usually satisfied with what the story had in canon for them. Farcille, I want 30 fics about them pining, while at magic school, at the dungeon, after everything... god, there's just so much to expand on. But, back to eating. Watching dungeon meshi made me hungry, but I wanted to see what happened next. Inspired by Senshi's philosophy, I would prepare a meal and always have something to eat while watching. Since I don't like binge watching anyway, it became a ritual that made sure I put a little more effort to eat a healthy meal that day, and fixed my meal times during the time I was watching. When the next season releases, it probably will become my cognitive behavior therapy once again (lmao). I don't read the manga because I'm reluctant to finish something I like, but it's also a comfort to know the story is completed and, if I change my mind, it's there for me to binge read.

People (and by people I mean cunts) get stuck on the fact that Mayrik was Rey's ride to Jakku, but it was Rey's Parents and Niima the Hutt who made her a slave. Not Mayrik.

One thing people forget is that this was originally going to be a fight between Alie and Rey, but it was a fight where Rey was clearly unreasonable. And we scrapped it because it was needless cruelty.

Alie was 10 and no idea why Rey was even on the ship and didn't even recognize her 14 years later when she landed on Jakku. There was nothing she could do, and Rey taking that anger out on her, especially after realizing she's already been far too unfair to Aliana already, would be out of character for her. Her anger would have to be with Tahleea, who is already dead in part because of the safe decision making that led to her brining Rey to Jakku in the first place.
