I'm dead serious some of y'all need to stop commenting shit like "Kill it with fire!!1!" on every post of a bug or any "scary" creature you see. Idgaf if you have a phobia or how many legs it has, having such a violent hateful reaction to any animal is just not normal behavior. And that goes double for posts by someone who's happy about the creature, I'm not asking you to go cuddle bugs just to mind your own business, people don't want to hear how much you hate something they like.

Edit since I forgot this was the piss on the poor website: Yes ofc ppl should tag pics of bugs so that those who don't wanna see them can filter them, and yes I know ppl can't choose what they are scared of, but wishing violent death on an animal, wanting to drive a species to extinction and telling people who like unconventional animals that you hate them and wish they died is still not normal behavior, hope that helps.

Why the fuck are there roller skates, dubstep, stage lighting, an LED screen, and all kinds of modern technology in Xilonen's trailer??? I thought Fontaine had the most advanced technology next to Schneznaya and arguably Sumeru, and every instance of high-end technology we have seen leaned more towards machinations with gears, magic, alchemy, essentially fantasy styled sci-fi???

The disrespect towards Native American and African cultures is enough to piss me off already, but it even goes against Genshin's own consistency with its fantastical world design..and for what? Just so you can have this...pop and gamer aesthetic???

Yoimiya's design isn't the most respectful and accurate representation of a Japanese firework craftsman, but at least you can damn tell she is Japanese. The large ribbons, hair accessories, tassels, leg covering, tattoo design, shoe style, and fabric patterns all allude to this (I apologize for not knowing the exact terminologies for these, this needs further research).

Then there's Mualani who has...what? Please do correct me if I am wrong here, but her character must be inspired by the real Mualani, a Hawaiian Chiefess. Additionally, her tribe's specialty is in tourism and vacationing, which further leads into the idea that she and her tribe are based off of Hawaii despite the known issues regarding Hawaii and tourism (if there are any good sources that summarize the issue, please do lmk).

I am not too familiar with Hawaiian culture, but there really is nothing about her design that reads as Hawaiian, or even just traditional, to me. What about a 2 piece swimsuit with bows and tails, a bow + braids + ponytail hair style, combat gloves (?), and an entire neon shark, is Hawaiian???

The characters, their designs, and their trailers, are just so culturally disconnected from their real life counterpart that it's even disconnected to Genshin's own world building and design. How the fuck is the fashion trend in Natlan denim pants. I feel like the only parts of Natlan that feel like Genshin Impact and culturally inspired are the in-game music and landscapes (God bless Hoyo-mix and the world designers).

how do are the plants pollinated in the garden? yeah, bugs get in through shipments (they must be killed before they develop language skills), but I doubt there’s enough natural pollinators (from earth, anyway) that could survive such a journey.

that being said, I wanna see a bunch of ladybugs landing and crawling around on John & Delenn in the garden— the insects (“beetles in drag,” as my high school friends and I said) are seen as a symbol of good luck and new beginnings in many cultures. It’s fitting and it’s cute.

Okay, here's something that's been on my mind for a little bit now. In PJO, we know that names are important, right? Right. Sally named Percy 'Perseus' because Perseus got a happy ending, Beryl named Jason 'Jason' to appease Hera, and that's that, right? Well, not quite.

See, in ToA, we learn that Leo's full first name is Leonidas. Now, this confused me for years. That name doesn't fit him at all, why would he be named that? Well, I think I realized why.

See, in Greek history, there's this famous story of the Battle of Thermopylae. I won't go into a ton of detail, but the basic summary is that there was a big battle between the Greeks (smaller, anywhere from 4,000 to 7,000 men, with only 300 Spartan warriors) and the Persians (much larger, scholars apparently say anywhere from 70,000 to 300,000 men)

Long story extremely short, pretty much all the Greeks died. But because they gave their lives to stall the Persians, the rest of the Greeks were able to defeat the Persians later on.

Why is this important? Well, the leader of the Greek army happened to be King Leonidas from Sparta. I think Leo's name is Leonidas to honor/parallel him.

Leo and Leonidas were both up against extremely unfair odds; Leonidas against an army that overwhelmingly outnumbered his own and Leo + fairly small armies of teenagers against a giant monster army, a bunch of giants, and the literal ground they stood on. They both gave their lives in an effort to stop or stall the gigantic forces fighting them.

I don't know whether it was Leo's mom's choice to name her son after him or if Hera had a say in it (I wouldn't be surprised if it was the latter) but either way, it's got a bunch of interesting parallels

Anyway, I feel like I have more to say but I can't think of it right now. If I come up with more similarities, I'll reblog this with my additions

To top it all of: I haven't had a decent night's sleep in about 4 days now (in which I just don't sleep or I have extremely vivid nightmares with my departed mother and/or scenarios where I die over and over and over again but can't speak to ask for help before it happens - fun for all the family, if you ask me) and I might or might not be completely and absolutely going insane, with only Good Omens season 1 (6/6) and season 2 (5/6) and the existence of Crowley/red haired Fire Pokemon David Tennant Edition being my sole producer of any amount of serotonin

How am I alive? Good question. Beautiful genderfluid demonic content can be some very nice very distracting content for individuals that simp for Fire Type David Tennant Pokemon like myself

I am quite sure my only contact with anything mental health related in the past weeks has been my best friend whom is very very annoying and refuses to leave me the heck alone and whom is a nurse and is working extra time to advice my stupid ass the best she can, bless her heart

i don't think people hcing charlie as transfem are trying to dismiss the transmasc charlie hc! i think it's more of a projection thing for a lot of people, since i know at least a few of the main people who enjoy the headcanon are transfem themselves!! i don't think you have much to worry about in terms of people dismissing the tmasc or other genderqueer charlie hc anyways, since it's already much more popular! i think you're perhaps being a bit too critical.

I've literally never said anything like this at all, I think you've either misinterpreted something else I've said or have the wrong blog.

All of my Charlie gender-based posts or reblogs I've stated/tagged that I think any interpretation of Charlie's gender can make sense, be it transmasculine, transfeminine, nonbinary, agender, whatever you want.

I am one of the ~3 blogs that has access to The Bathroom Problem script and who posted and pointed out that you can make out/slightly hear the Joyce cuts in the episode itself. I would not have excitedly shared that for open-interpretation if I was "worried" people are "dismissing" transmasc Charlie headcanons. (Which, again, I've literally never said, but in any case, I believe it's valid for anyone to dismiss a headcanon they don't agree with, fandom is a sandbox.)

What I personally don't care for are genderbends and, almost by extension, analysis/meta on canon scenes that rename/re-gender the characters with no basis (or, one that comes off wrong). Both topics I've literally never publicly spoken out against here, nor have I said anything bad/negative to everyone who personally enjoys these things, so there is no way for me to possibly be "too critical" in that regard. I keep most of my opinions to myself and my close mutuals, almost exactly for what you're saying: I personally don't want to harsh or dismiss anyone's headcanons.

I have never said, and have never meant to imply, that anyone interpreting Charlie as transfem is attempting to dismiss anyone else's headcanon (which again would be a non issue to me anyway).

I love hugging my friends and family!! I adore showing physical affection! I've hugged coworkers and held hands with members at work to comfort them when theyre upset (if they initiated. Im not that dense to be touching strangers without consent lol. Ill ask people if i dont know them well enough to know what theyre ok with).

All of this to say: I don't feel good and I want hugs, so thats my answer lol. (Though believable lore/timeline connecting the games would be fantastic haha))
