So, I’m making my own pj masks au and I have already like a summary of the au so I decided to make some character design/fan art because I can ��✨ (I made drawings in my sketchbook🤓)

This au is basiclly like the original show but if instead of the pj getting their powers since they were little they got them in their teen years, I’m so original I know 😛, (It's sarcasm but just let me be happy 🐒).

I don’t want to explain the au right now because I’m tierd and because it’s still is progress but anyway, here I have the first character design of my au and i decided to start with one of my favorite characters… Octobella 🗣️🗣️🗣️ (Just for u to know, my artstyle is a bit messy 🥹)

So this is like her octopus from or how ever u want to call it. I was going for like something similar to her original design and gave her some more jewelry because queen loves crystals!!! Love my sea witch 🐙✨

Next is her human form??? I’m still figuring things out…

Yes I have her headcanons because it would make my life easier. Well, Her name is Isabella because when I was doing reaserch o found out that “Bella” means “beautiful” or something like that and I found it quite fitting for her. Her last name is Havström because I found out that It’s a swedish surname that means “sea ​​current” (please correct me if I’m wrong because I’m not familiar with it) She is swede because aperantly sea witches are very popular in Norse mythology. In the au, Bella comes frome a large line of powerfull sea witches and they are known for their potions and crystals, she can change her appearance at will between her “human form” and octopus form. In short, she is interested in the pj masks because they get their powers from a crystal and she LOVES crystals.

I made her a short queen in her senior year of high school, (she is older that the pj masks since they are in their junior year). Queen dyies her hair blond 👀.

In my au, Bella is part of a really wealthy family from Sweden but moved to the states arround middle school because her family’s business started growing very well in the states ,(yes, my au is based in the states even though the pj masks is from france but oh well). I imagine that she meet Greg before the other pj masks, they were neighbors in a quite a wealthy neighborhood, Greg went to the same middle school as Amaya and Connor but Bella’s parents and his parents were friends and they saw each other very often. At one point, Bella and Greg where good friends but when Greg started high school, Bella changed schools to go to the same school as Greg and she made his life miserable when she was a sophomore and he was a freshmen, but when she was in her junior year she went to study abroad and greg was in peace (at least until she came back). There is gonna be an episode arround season 2 that shows when Bella comes back from studying abroad (I want to make her apear untill season 2 so this is like spoiler and I’m sorry 😔, and yes, I’m planning the au as if it was a series ☝️🤓).

And to finish this, u might already have noticed that Dylan (Armadylan) is in the corner with Bella, so in a part of the au they are like a couple but like a toxic kind of one because Dylan genuinely likes Bella but she only uses him, I’m planning that she wants to use him to do some kind of spell that would put Dylan in danger but I can’t say much now ,I don’t want to give a lot of detail because this post is already really long and I’m too tired but I promise that in a future post I will explain about it !!!

This post only had like the main idea of what I want to do with Octobella in the au but in future posts I’ll go with much more detail 😨.

I don't know if I'll ever write something about this AU but I love it more and more. Probably some scenes will be made into short comics, but I'm afraid of spoiling too much of the story that way…

This makes a lot of sense...but only for me. Look, if you don't already agree with a few headcanons that I already have for Queequeg, this won't make that much sense. Those headcanons are based on canon, though, so maybe you'll be convinced?

Envy => Middle. Hex Nail = Envy => Hex Nail is fitting for someone who is related to the Middle. Even in a gameplay perspective, this will give her more Envy Resonance which is especially useful for her. Queequeg also already has themes of Envy? If Heathcliff is John Envy then Queequeg is Joan Envy. She was jealous of an Abnormality.

Bleed: Hex Nail is a Bleed EGO, which I think would synergise well with her canon counterpart? I'm not sure though.

The playroom:

I'm very invested in the idea of making the Middle an abusive family that Queequeg escaped (sort of). It will connect to her childhood, hence the playroom. More than that, though, is the way she prominently lacking agency in her entire life. In any case, there are 2 character archetypes that often portrayed as lacking in autonomy: the helpless maiden and the child. It would be quite difficult to portray Queequeg as a helpless maiden, so I usually go with the imagery of a child to portray her, especially in the context of her relation to the Middle. Infantilisation is also a common tactic in abusive households as well. I think, merely the act of Queequeg running from the Middle is her maturing and making choices for herself. If I ever write a fic about Queequeg's times in the Middle (which I am), I will write it to be something like a coming of age story, but it's the City, so.

By the by, if you look really closely, you can see the shadow on the splash art is a crib, and her raising her arms so can be interpreted as asking for a hug or asking to be lifted out of the crib (because she has grown).

Nails: We use nails to pin things down. Similarly, the Middle does want to pin her down.

Ragged Doll imagery: My favourite interpretation of Queequeg is her being a disgraced golden child of the Middle. She was loved and respected there, hence a pretty doll for show. But at the same time, she ran away, got punished, beaten and tortured for it, hence a ragged doll.

Affection:

In my interpretation, one of Queequeg's core theme is affection, not necessarily romantic, just affection in general. It is because one of her source material is The Little Mermaid by Hans Christian Andersen. Other than that, Queequeg already stated her motivation for all the atrocities she committed under the Middle is because she wanted respect, which we could argue is also a type of affection. The Middle is quite um...affectionate with each other, anyways?

How does this relate to Hex Nail and the Hurting Teddy Bear? The Hurting Teddy Bear wants to be loved and hugged too, and it became jealous when it sees other people getting affection that won't be extended to itself.

And, at the risk of spoiling my own fic, my version of Swap Queequeg believes attaining others' affection and approval is the only way to atone (if you think hard enough about it, it makes sense I promise).

By the way, the background of the splash art are toys but they have been messed with or destroyed in some ways. Teddy bear is torn apart, blocks got knocked over, jigsaw puzzle got unsolved. She has ruined everything. Would you still hug her?

Hurting Teddy Bear's Abnormality log (written by Rodya):

On the first log, Rodya said this about the Hurting Teddy Bear: And it's got the gall to ask us for hugs… like, who'd wanna hug this thing? I do think Queequeg initially thought of herself as disgusting (maggot) and not worthy of other people's affection, too, but then, her opinion on herself probably shifted a little bit.

On the final log, when the Sinners finally successfully pacify the Abno, Rodya expressed some genuinely affection for it, which would parallel her dynamic with Queequeg in my AU specifically.

I'm really curious as to, after reading all of my thought process behind Hex Nail Queequeg, what do everyone think is the reason behind the bloodied dress.

And uh...right. It should have been Dieci, shouldn't it? I promised.

I swear that I drew Dieci Queequeg a long while ago, but I didn't like how it looks and the 2 pieces are both stagnating (in truth, I didn't like how Hex Nail turns out too much either, but they are still miles better than Dieci), so I switched to Hex Nail first. I will return to Dieci later.

couple of ladybug redesigns ive been doodling while stark raving mad about how this show for little kids doesnt have more badass outfits for the characters. i basically take a crack at these every couple of months but this is the first time im really pleased w what i came up with!

i def wanna come back to these and tweak them or come up with more designs for the other characters. and i esp wanna do a hawk moth chloe..........

long winded explanation of my design concepts unser the cut

ladybug - this is kind of my brain process here. her canon design (the worst one in the show imo) just kinda looks like a polkadot onesie so i really wantes to give her more bug-like features. i gave her black eyes bc i think its really cool when miraculiur holders change eye colours to something unnatural and i think its pretty neat and comicbook-y, and also insect-like. i also gave her bug-wing hairclips and changed her pigtails to twin buns so they had more of a shape contrast to the clips. for all wing details i added turquoise as a third colour to give it some SPICE.

my first designs (1-4) went off the idea of a short dress/coat with puff sleeves to suggest the shape of bug-legs, and the coat tails serving as her wings. i think its a cute design that fits marinette's girly style, but i wasn't quite happy with it.

i had the idea of her sleeves serving as her wings instead of her skirt or coat tails, and looked a little into chinese styles of clothing with big sleeves like this to lean more into marinette being half-chinese. i found a style called hanyuansu, which is modern clothes modified with hanfu elements and took inspiration from looking at a few outfits, so i tried a couple different takes. i really like design 6 with the big coat, but it seems really impractical for crime fighting :/ maybe its like a formalwear alt look lol.

7 is my final design that i'm happiest with, as it has all the elements i wanted but is still simple enough to not feel overloaded. i made the yoyo black for a little contrast and just bc i think it looks really cool!

queen bee - chloe was robbed of a character arc and a cool design. i will avenge her.

this ddsign came to me muchhh easier. a beehive hairdo seemed like a no-brainer, as well as fur trims both because she's a bee and because she's a bougie rich girl. i wanted the look to scream elegance and be a little retro and 60ies-inspired to go with her hairdo. the shape and tights are like a cute minidress married to a fur coat meets bee stinger, which is the vibe i want! the gloves are full chic and also sort of like black insect legs.

again a light blue wing detail for a pop of contrast and just because wings are fucking cool, and it gave me an excuse for 60ies inspired blue eyeshadow! yellow eyes cause i love weird eye colours, and it just looks a little creepy and jaundiced hehe

no mask because everyone knows its's her anyways, so why bother? plus masks are sort of annoying to design around lol. i kept her feelers because theyre really cute!

queen bee x butterfly - ive wanted chloe to become the new hawk moth since the concept was teased. well now my heart is broken forever, but i can still dream!! so this is like, an au where she has a full epic villain arc, keeps the bee and also gets the butterfly miraculous and becomes the new big bad!

i kept a lot of thw elements from the queen bee design but modified them. the dress changes shape into something less like a stinger and more like a chic mini winter coat to match the giant fur trim she has now! obviously huge moth wings are a must, and more of a staff than hawk moth's cane because, hey. she's royalty.

her queen bee feelers change to fuzzy moth ones, and the colours are a little different to match better with purple! plus a butterfly mask now, and white eyes with solid yellow irises to diffirenciate her from.......

hawk moth - who is a fashion designer and should really have a better look!

i gave him solid white eyes to make him look less human and goofy, and again for that cool comic-booky look.

i based the whole design on wanting his silouette to mimic thw butterfly miraculous, so i kept and exaggerated his canon lapels and added two pointy coat tails for the bottom of the wings.

the long coat is a bit more dramatique and less basic, and i tried to give his mask a little flourish to keep him from looking so much like a silver thumb.

the only place i kept the silver is for the vest, which is segmented to imitatw to look of a butterfly or moth's belly. i spent the least amount of time on this one but i'm pretty happy with it for a rougher draft than the other three designs.

💼Part of the Bad Bosses AU💼

“I think that’s everything,” you smile at Conrad across the table. 

Sy continues to loom and pace around the edge of the room. He’s been doing that. Hovering like a vulture. Even when you try to get him to participate, he only has grumbles and glares. You’re used to his grumpiness but lately, he’s been nearly intolerable. 

“Mm, yes, I think it is,” Conrad smirks, “shall we have a celebratory drink? Seems the old boar could use it?” 

“I’m younger than you,” Sy stomps over, his ears sharp. “So how’s that?” 

“Yes, well, one might not guess it by looking. Do relax, I am merely making fun,” Conrad crosses his arms. “Is there a reason you are so antsy to be away? I was rather happy to receive an old friend such as yourself.” 

“Nice seein’ ya and all but we gotta get back,” Sy crosses his arms. “Izzie’s got friends waitin’, don’t ya?” 

He nudges you with his elbow and you send him a skeptical look. Since when did he care so much? 

“Ah yes, so you mentioned some wonderful ladies back home. Do have a drink in my honour. Such a considerate boss, eh, Syverson?” He smirks. 

You stand and press your fingertips to the table, “thanks. Uh, I guess he’s right. The sooner we’re on the road, the sooner we’re back. It was nice meeting you. And doing business.” 

“Always a pleasure, Syverson, and I do enjoy a beautiful lady darkening my door now and again.” 

Sy growls and you try not to notice. You’re not sure if it’s territorial or what but you don’t need him acting like a guard dog. You prefer his slightly oblivious gruffness to his intense derision. 

“Thank you. You’re a great host.” 

You shake Conrad’s hand and he tugs it up. Once again, he kisses your knuckles and sends you a wink. Sy grabs your other arm and yanks you away. 

“Get on with it, Izzie,” he snarls as he drags you away. 

You stagger with his furious pace, not mentioning that he hardly bothered to give a proper goodbye. The way he’s gripping you so tight, you can’t think of much else but the creak in your bones. You dig in your heels as you get through the compound door. 

“Yow! Sy!” You yank your hand away at last. He takes a few steps before he stops and faces you. “What is your problem? You can’t grab me like that.” You raise your arm and rub the tender skin, “you hurt me.” 

“Ah, I’m-- I’m sorry. I didn’t mean to, Iz. Ya know I wouldn’t ever--” 

“But you did. What’s gotten into you, anyway? Why are you being so rude?” 

“I’m not,” he harrumphs and drops his shoulders. “I just wanna be home. Bein’ out here in all this sand, takes me back. That’s it.” 

“Is that it?” You challenge and stand straight. Even with perfect posture, you hardly measure up to the large man. 

Sy frowns, “I’m sorry, Izzie, truly. Why don’t ya give me a smack then? I deserve it.” 

You almost laugh, instead snorting, “I wouldn’t-- I’m not that sort, you know that.” 

“I do. It’s why I like ya, Iz. You temper me out. I’m a big oaf without you,” he looks away bashfully. “How about you go grab your bag and I’ll go say sorry. You’re right. No way to treat a friend. And partner.” 

You consider him and slowly nod. “Alright, I’ll meet you at the gate then.” 

“Sure thing, sugar.”  

You tilt your head at the pet name but have no time to comment. You move aside as he moves towards you and let him pass. You stare after him for a second then turn back to your path. You know how he feels. You just want to be home in your bed. Oh, and it would be nice to have cell reception. 

You find your room after a few stray wanderings and grab your bag. You head back out, still lost in the maze of the compound. You find the sunlight and walk out into the blaze of the noontime apex. You go to the gate and peer around at the mercenaries in their padded vests and harnesses. 

As you wait, you grow uneasy. You’re still not entirely used to this job. Not always. It’s easier to manage Sy’s grocery list or his forgotten appointments, but out here, in the shit as he calls it, you feel lost. 

He appears with a wave of his large hand. The fingerless glove nearly blends into his skintone from the wear and tear. You face him fully as he approaches and he points behind you. 

“Ready to go for a ride?”  

You follow his finger to the buggy just on the other end of the yard. You squint and turn back to him. 

“Conrad can be nice when he wants to,” he grins, “you wanna drive?” 

You stare at him, deeply considering the prospect. You don’t know if you trust him to make the drive and yet, you don’t if you should trust yourself either. He dangles the key from a thick finger and you roll your eyes. 

“I wanna get outta here in one piece,” you snatch it. 

He chuckles and lets you have it. He reaches for you and you wince. He grabs the strap of your bag and hauls it onto his shoulder next to his. 

“I’ll get these secured, Iz,” he offers. 

You hesitate. He’s being awfully helpful. Not that he can’t be but the last few days have been strange. You guess both of you might be getting a bit homesick.

An ask for hopefully fun distraction purposes: What are your favorite Megop dynamics to read about or play with when you write?

Since I'm an IDW MegOP enjoyer first and foremost, I really like fics that reverse the usual IDW MOP dynamic (Megatron goads, Optimus chases and reacts) and have Megatron be the one that has incredibly strong horny/obsessive feelings towards Optimus, while Optimus is the one that's more reserved and won't let Megatron get a taste of him until he feels the time is right aslkdlfjksd. I think, especially for IDW, it's easy to get caught up in how devoted Optimus is, in the way that Megatron is the center of Optimus' life both in terms of the war and in terms of making him the person he became, and that relentless belief in the best person Megatron can be. But I really, really like it when that dynamic is reversed: where Megatron is the one that's devoted to Optimus, seeks his attention, feels like he's an inseparable part of his life, etc. Compounded by the fact that the fandom as a whole tends to treat Optimus as a flat character and treats Megatron/whoever OP is being shipped with as more of an individual with depth, with OP just being a trophy husband basically

In general, it's really important for me to maintain their relationship with a push and pull dynamic and to be centered on mutual respect, whether that's through characterization, dialogue, or the usual PWP/kink dynamics. Especially when I get to play with it in the last case, fucking around with underappreciated things like dom bottom/submissive top, switching in general. I'm also a big fan (semi related to the first point) of emotionally constipated Optimus with Megatron being the emotional one trying to reach out. So like.... basically the opposite of what the most popular MOP dynamics are aksldfjlksdlkf

I haven't really written this outside of AEFMB (the BATB AU), but I think interactions between miner!Megatron and Prime!Optimus are suuuuper underrated. I know IDW MOP got canon Autobot Megatron + prewar Orion thanks to the Functionist Universe, but how come no one writes the other way around? It's so cool to imagine, especially since IDW is one of the rare continuities where Megatron began as the shy/unimposing/humble one and Orion/Optimus is a confident jock superhero who already has his own squad of outlaws (and, in the case of prewar M + wartime OP, a literal fucking army). Enough casting Megatron as the hardened/jaded veteran fighter with OP as the sheltered nerd. Give me some shit with OP being the more experienced one and M being the one who needs to come into his own to match him. (And yeah, TF One helped satisfy this urge lol)

Megatron being the Optimus apologist/going "I can fix him," whether it's good guy Megatron (a la MTMTE, Earthspark) supporting Optimus/not wanting him to go down a dark path, or whether it's evil Megatron going "I can corrupt him." Actually, MOP has WAY too little corruption arc action going on. I mean, I understand why, but what the hell is a hero/villain ETL ship without at least one moment where the villain goes "Join me, we would be unstoppable together, please we could basically be married and rule the universe." IDW MOP in particular doesn't have that pre-war friendship dynamic that would tempt M into giving such an offer to OP, but I like the idea of some scenario where M wants to offer anyways. Like I said in the first point, literally just give me a MOP story where Megatron is the one who's horny/desperate/longing for Optimus and Optimus is the skeptical, tsundere one that needs to be persuaded into it.

i wasnt really into farcille at first, mostly i was just impressed an f/f ship managed to be the fandom's no1, basically proving that when two female characters in a mostly male dominated cast are allowed to bond with each others and be their own characters people will latch on to them

i can't sleep. i have to think about this. i have to think about how it's their first love and their first relationship and one is going in blind while the other set up her expectations based on a harlequin romance novel. they are NOT in the same wavelength at all and neither of them are particularly good at communicating their intention, with falin who grew up a convenient kid because she thought it was the least she could do for her family and marcille who frankly speaking was used to being treated as someone superior back at the magic school

thank god kabru exists because who else is going to give them a real advice for their very real relationship? chilchuck will be like "okay just break up" while not seeing the mirror to his own relationship with his runaway wife. senshi, wise as he is, is never in a romantic relationship. laios would be like :((( you guys are fighting? and gets stressed out on his own which makes it even more stressful to the girls. namari is like. "i, uh, please talk to kabru."

anyway theres also the bonus comic about falin inviting marcille to watch daltian clan's opera adaptation and while there is something to say about marcille thinking the humans playing elves doesn't fit her aesthetic (and the difference of societal expectations of dressing up as a different race in dunmeshi universe compared to in ours) all i can think of is that in modern day au where daltian clan has a movie adaptation marcille has a tumblr blog where she posts Hate on the daltian clan movie tag and calling it criticism which it is but also not the place, girl, go to rotten tomatoes for that

falin also has a tumblr and she and marcille had no idea the other is a tumblr user. falin made a post like "just watched daltian clan with my gf i get why shes really obsessed with it now" and marcille, against her better judgement replies to the post like "really sorry that you were misled by your girlfriend like that, you should read the novels instead, it's way better."

laios who sees falin looking shocked at her phone asks whats up and then after receiving the answer says "wow sounds like a real jerk! just block them"

Firstly, what inspired you to give the DCA a frozen half mask? I honestly find it to be SUCH a cool design choice and I wanna know your design process! :D

Secondly (DCA related again </3), what’s your interpretation on Eclipse within your universe? Do they exist? Are they a third entity, a combination of Sun and Moon, a security program with no learning AI, or perhaps something else entirely? I’d love to hear your thoughts! (Personally I interpret them as a combination/security program :0!)

Lastly (yes… once more… DCA related…), do you have any fun facts about Sun, Moon, and Chica’s friendship that you’ve been itching to share? Or haven’t gotten the chance to touch on yet? This AU honestly made me grow really attached to the idea of the DCA and Glam Chica being friends! It’s so so SO sweet!

GOLLY HI!!! Sorry, I didn't see this till now! I'm so glad you're enjoying my stuff, thank you!!! I don't have a name for this "AU" since it kinda started as just this series of snippets of the DCA and Chica being besties and then it started bleeding into all the feelings I had about SB's corporate horror subtext and all of the assumptions I'd had about the direction they would take the story after Help Wanted, and now it's kind of a….retelling-slash-one off comics story. If you or anybody else has name ideas for this on-going saga I'd love to hear them so that I could put it all in a dedicated tag! Now that I've got that ramble out of the way I'll answer your questions! (I lied I'm gonna ramble more cuz I'm really good at it ksfdlnlksdfnlksndf)

1) I have a tendency to redesign characters a bit when I make fan art because trying to stay on model to the original design makes my art come out a bit stiff. I'd seen a lot of fan art for the DCA where they had their whole mouth move, but with the way their faces have a "moon" side, it made me think of a Phantom of the Opera mask. Then I heard that in the Pizzaplex books they were apparently a theater robot that was repurposed for the daycare, so I just decided to lean into it! I've been playing with the idea of making the eye holes on Sun and Moon's mask different to mimic the tragedy/comedy masks!

2) Ooooh the security program is an interesting idea!!! So, I don't know how actual programming stuff works. And since I believe that the robots in FNAF have been sentient since Sister Location, meaning that they've been advancing robo sentience in-universe further for years, I tend to play around with the sentience and the programming fighting with each other at times. When it comes to what I think Eclipse is…. I'm actually gonna put that under a spoiler because it's something I've been teasing at and I can't keep story secrets to save my life, so you can look at that answer ~ at your own risk oooOOOooooOOOooo ~ Now. To answer the third point and give you that Eclipse spoiler. I need to add it in a reblog. Because I was writing out this whole thing....and I wrote so much that I hit the text limit. Which I have never done before. Which also freaked Tumblr out and it wouldn't let me post this no matter how much I erased. You weren't entirely sure how you ended up like this. Head pounding from a hangover with two guys on either side of you. All three of your limbs tangled together underneath the sheets of - what you were assuming was - one of their beds in their house.

Your mind raced to the thoughts of the night before. How you let two brothers buy you a drink at a club. Which led to you coming home with them. Which led to you hooking up with them. At the same time.

13 hours earlier

You were dancing with this group of girls in the middle of the dance floor of a club one of your friends had recommended. You were wearing a black mini dress that clung tightly against your body. Its neckline and overall length not leaving very much to the imagination.

Needing a break, you decided to walk over to the bar. You were contemplating whether or not you should buy yourself a drink. You didn't know what you wanted specifically. Your indecisiveness showing in the way you stood around aimlessly.

You were shocked when two seemingly identical people walked up to you. One's demeanor boasted with confidence while the other seemed more reserved, shy even.

“Hey,” the shy one nods in greeting, trying to keep his eyes from dropping down to your chest. The more confident one, though? He didn't even try to hide the way he was eyeing you. “Hi,” he says, his voice oozing confidence.

Your eyes flicked from one boy to the other, a small smile making its way to your face. “What's up?” you ask them, your eyes trailing over their outfits as you wait for their responses.

The more outgoing one grins. He's never not been amused by the fact that people can't instantly tell him and his brothers apart, considering that they're triplets. He's more than happy to get your attention though, leaning casually against the bar as his brother stands beside him.

"Not much, sweetheart," One starts, his lips curving into a smile at the nickname he's already given you. "We just saw you all alone and figured we'd keep you company for a bit," his eyes travel up and down your body before they dart back to meet yours.

Your smile widens at his nickname, the way he was talking to you and looking at you caused your stomach to burn excitedly. Your attention turns to his brother, your smile never wavering.

“What's your name?” You ask, tilting your head to the side as you watch and wait. The guy can't help but feel a little smug and happy when you direct your attention towards him, a smirk making its way onto his face. He can't keep his eyes off you, but unlike his brother, he's at least trying to be a little bit polite and not a complete horn-dog like someone is. He tries his best anyway.

"Name's Matt," he replies softly, his eyes trailing over your body, lingering over the skirt part of your dress. Your eyes follow his down, your stomach doing flips. 'Do they both want me?' you ask yourself silently.

“And what about you?” Your head turns back to who you assume is Matt's brother, staring at his icy blue eyes and the way his lips are still curved into a small smirk. “What's your name?”

He just grins when you look over at him, his eyes flickering over your face for a moment. "Chris," he replies easily, leaning a bit closer to you. "You don't mind if we buy you a drink, right?" It's a question, but they're going to do it anyway. They're already checking you out shamelessly, it would be surprising if they didn't.

Your head quickly snaps to Matt, making sure it was okay with him first. You didn't want his brother, Chris, to volunteer the both of them for something either didn't want to actually do

“Is that okay with you, Matt? Buying me a drink? Chris did say 'we’" you ask with a smile. Matt can't help but smile at how considerate you are, a smirk pulling at his lips as well to match Chris. He glances over at his brother and then back to you, chuckling.

"Yeah, 'course it is," he says, giving you a little nod. Chris grins, his hand brushing against your hip as he moves to signal the bartender. "What'll you have, sweetheart?” You shrug, your smile matching the boys beside you. “Surprise me.”

Chris grins, ordering you a vodka mixer which he knows damn well will get you at least a little bit tipsy. He's got plans for the night, and he's not going to let you get away without being at least a little bit inebriated.

Matt, unlike his brother, looks a little bit more unsure at that. He knows what Chris is up to. The only question was: was he going to do it too?

You happily take the drink into your hands, taking a big sip of the alcoholic beverage as you continue to stare at the boys. Your eyes dart to both of them like a ping pong ball. “Thanks for the drink,” you say gratefully. offering both boys a smile as you continue sipping on it.

The two of them eye the way you take a big gulp of the drink with little thought about the implications of it, watching you carefully.

They both smirk when you thank them. Chris leans against the bar again, looking at you with that cocky grin of his, his eyes trailing over your figure shamelessly again.

"No problem, sweetheart," he replies, his eyes lingering over the skin exposed by your dress. You set your drink down on the counter part of the bar, turning to face them both with your hands pressed to your hips and your head tilted to the side in question

“Like my dress that much, huh?” You tease, your smile is still going strong. Both boys' eyes dart down to your hands where they rest against your hips, their gazes trailing over your thighs. Matt coughs quietly, trying not to seem as outwardly flirty as his brother was being.

On the other hand, Chris grins again, not bothering to be subtle at all. He looks you up and down slowly, like he can't keep his eyes off of you. "Like it more than 'that much,'" he replies, his blue eyes glittering when they look up at your face.

You smile even more if possible, turning to Matt with an eyebrow raise. “And you? Like my outfit, Matt?” You ask playfully, slowly spinning in a circle, your hands falling from your hips, your arms now dangling at your sides. You complete your spin, making eye contact with Matt.

Matt glances over your outfit, like Chris was, but instead of looking over you like a complete perv like his brother, his gaze is a little more subtle, more… shy. His eyes trail over your curves, the way your dress shows your legs and chest.

He swallows, a bit awkwardly, as he looks you over, before his eyes dart up to your face, his hands remaining in his pockets. "You, uh.. you look good, yeah." he mutters. “Just good?” you ask with a head tilt.

Matt can't help but give a sheepish glance at his brother for a moment, who rolls his eyes, before he clears his throat, running a hand through his hair. "No.. you look beautiful," he replies after a moment, his eyes flickering back to the way your chest peaks out of your dress.

You shake your head with a quiet laugh, locking eyes with Matt. “Thank you, Matt. That means a lot, really.”

Your gaze shifts over to Chris who you know is still shamelessly staring you down. “And thanks for liking my dress, Chris. I don't usually go out to do things like this. Or even really dress like this. But I know I gotta play the part if I am out on the town like this.”

Matt smiles at your response, clearly relieved you didn't think he was a creep, though his eyes still dart over the way your dress hugs your body. But he's at least subtle about it, unlike his brother, who grins at the mention of his name, like a cocky bastard.

He leans off of the bar to stand beside Matt, his eyes continuing to shamelessly rake over you. "You should dress like this more often, sweetheart. It looks good on you." he hums.

At this point, you were sure both boys could hear the way your heart was basically pounding against your ribcage. Your skin felt warm under their gaze. The way they eye you up and down hungrily. As if you were a prey of theirs. Like they hadn't eaten in days.

“Yeah?” you ask, tilting your head in question. The two brothers share a smirk between them that seemed to almost say they were thinking the same thing, their eyes on you. It's like they can't bear to look away. You were intoxicating.

The way your body looked in that dress was driving both of them crazy. “Yeah,” Chris replies, his eyes slowly trailing up and over your body. He runs a tongue over his lip as he does.

Chris and Matt exchange a quick, knowing glance, their intentions clear. Chris leans in closer, his voice low and inviting. "How about we get out of here? Our place isn't far, and we could keep this party going," he suggests, his eyes locked onto yours with an intensity that makes your heart race.

Matt, slightly more reserved, adds softly, "We promise it'll be fun. Just a little more time to get to know each other, away from all this noise." His sincerity is evident, and you find yourself nodding, intrigued by the idea of spending more time with these brothers.

The decision feels natural. The club's pulsating music fades into the background as you agree, the promise of adventure outweighing any hesitations. Chris wraps an arm around your waist, guiding you out of the club, while Matt holds the door open, his shy smile reassuring you.

Inside their apartment, the atmosphere shifts. The lighting is soft, and the space feels intimate. Chris wastes no time, pulling you in for a heated kiss that leaves you breathless. His hands roam confidently, exploring every inch of you with a hunger that sends shivers down your spine.

Matt watches, his eyes filled with a mix of admiration and nervousness. He approaches slowly, his touch gentle as he brushes a strand of hair from your face. His lips find yours, the kiss tender and sweet, a stark contrast to Chris's fiery passion.

THE FAIRY DALE POST

Hi what’s up hello, decided to do this separately from the previous question so it would be easier for those who want to avoid it to do so dndbdhdhdjdjbh

to all the Dale fans out there, I’m sorry to admit that I am not among you- as much as I appriciate what an accurate depiction of an emotionally abusive parent he is, I am NOT manifesting a redemption arc for his ugly ass, and hope that Dev gets to stand up to him in a BIG way in the shows future 🥰

Anyway: Is Dale Still a shoddy father in the Fairly normal Parents AU?-

YES. He’s WORSE, actually!! ☠️

Trust me when I say the read-more is necessary here- PLEASE read the content warnings before deciding to proceed- covering fairy Dale and Fairy Devs relationship requires me breaking away from the wholesomeness of the rest of the AU to cover some darker topics-

CONTENT WARNINGS: dalepreg, mild NSFW text, unwanted pregnancy, references to pregnancy termination, emotional abuse, parental neglect, manipulation, unhealthy parental relationships, Dale Dimmadome in general

Okay, with that out of the way-

One important thing to note about my swap au is that, in the time period the ask blog takes place, ALL the faires are adults! Which I point out only to explain why, at this point in the story, Dev has ALREADY had his gigantic falling out with his father (that’s, tbh, pretty similar to the one I like to think HUMAN Dev eventually has in my personal hc timeline for him) SO YEAH, Dev and his father are currently NOT on speaking terms, and he really dislikes talking about him (Perry has never so much as learned Dale’s NAME. He’s that secretive about it after storming out and getting cut off, but I’m getting ahead of myself snsbdbdbd)

SO, TO START AT THE BEGINNING- Something I have yet to discuss in the ask blog bc we aren’t far enough in the plot yet for Dev to openly speak about magic (yes, plot ☠️) is the fact that Poof’s role as the “first fairy baby in a thousand years” actually belongs to FOUR faries in the swap AU- Dev, Hazel, Winn and Jasmyn!

(Aaand maybe some other kids from ANW too, it’s not carved in stone yet how many characters this includes 🤷)

The reason that so many fariy babies were born at ONCE- (inciting PURE CHAOS in fairyworld, I’m sure) is due to an anti-magical comet passing over fairyworld (which I have not yet worked out the name and specifics of, yall will have to give me til Hazel arrives to get THERE sbdbxjshdjdjjdd 😂)

BASICALLY the anti-comet, unbeknownst to anyone, weakened and warped the magic spell in place that prevented fairy babies from being possible-

-go ahead and assume this middle part for yourself lmao-

Once the pregnancies start making themselves know. FOR THE MOST PART fairy couples are ECSTATIC to learn that they’re expecting- and because the comet violated nothing in Da Rules, they were ALL allowed to keep thier miracle babies (don’t ask abt Antony wheeze, I’m still thinking abt it tbh 😂)

So all of fairyworld is abuzz with excitement about all the expecting miracle parents… with the exception of one. Dale ‘Day-breaker’ Dimmadome, owner of the corporation that runs most of fairyworld, and the LAST FAIRY ALIVE that should have been entrusted with caring for a child, has also found himself expecting (don’t ask me how it happened lmfao, let’s just say “partied too hard in fairly Las Vegas” and leave it at that ☠️☠️☠️)

Needless to say, Dale was NOT on board with the idea of being pregnant, giving birth, OR raising a baby, so he has the AU pairs research every possible solution to the ‘problem’ right away, and keeps his pregnancy a secret for as long as possible.

However, all of that changed when the future visions started. They were mild, at first- just strangely frequent moments of Deja vu in Dales day to day life running his company, and strangely accurate dreams every now and then. BUUT as Dev continued to develop and grow, the visions got clearer and clearer, until Dale finally got fed up and went to see a fairy fortune teller, who informed him that his unborn baby must be the source of the prophetic dreams, and they would only get more powerful with time. Even in his fetal state, other clairvoyants Dale went to see could tell- DEV was going to be a VERY powerful one.

Okay so here’s where the “eugh” REALLY starts for me- (if it hasn’t started for u already screams)

Once Dale realized how USEFUL the future visions were, he decided to halt his research, and carry the baby to term, so that he could continue to have the visions, as he considered them an advantage while expanding his corporation.

Much to Dales dismay however, the SECOND the baby is BORN, Dale loses the clairvoyance ENTIRELY, buuuut now that Dale knows he has something to GAIN from doing so, he decides he DOES want to raise this child, so that it can be of use to him in the future (tho by “raise” I of course mean “make the AU pairs raise ☠️☠️)

I don’t have a drawing of them yet, but fun fact, fairy Dev was raised by two au pairs (the AU’s pixie equivalent) that are based on his drones from ANW- their ‘names’ are technically just strings of numbers, but Dev nicknamed his two servants/gaurdians/weird robotic gay dads “silver” and “Gold” 🥈🥇

I’ll infodump on them too if anyone asks abt em, but this is the Dale post wheeze, back to the horrors-

Dev grows up barley knowing his father, but slowly gets more and more demanding of his fathers attention with time, desperately wanting to form a relationship with him. Eventually, Dale relents, allowing Dev to spend much of his time by his father’s side, almost like a teeny tiny advisor or smthn? Baby Dev couldn’t be happier, but Unfortunately, it’s Dale, so ofc he had ulterior motives. basically as SOON as Dev was able to talk, Dale began to constantly ask if he had had any new visions, even getting dev private magic/ fortune telling/ clairvoyance lessons, to try and hone his child’s skills as much as possible as quickly as possible.

At first Dev thinks nothing of how hyper-focused Dale is on his future-seeing powers, and is just happy to be included and close to his dad for once. He’s more than happy to have visions for him, recounting them with excitement, and delighting in the praise whenever his insight was considered “legitimately helpful”

However, as time went on, and Dev gained the context of meeting the OTHER fairy kids and thier families, he couldn’t help but slowly start to question his fathers “parenting methods” - if you could even call them that ☠️☠️

(Hazel Wishingwell heard a rumor about a secret fairy child being spotted on a balcony of the Dimmadome building, so she, Winn and Jasmyn went to investigate! WIP of a comic I’ll finish eventually. maybe. probably.

poor dev lived a very Elsa-esque, isolated life before he made three gremlin friends who started routinely “kidnapping” him from his damn repunzel tower to have fun and hang out 🥺💕)

This ever-growing sense of unease continues to eat at kid Divination, and part of him starts to wonder if his dad really DOES only care about his powers like his friends say he does…

they are all. horrified. To learn how little attention and affection Devs father gives him. ESPECIALLY because the three of them have incredibly loving parents that have been calling them “miracles” and “gifts” thier whole lives, while Dale has basically done nothing but COMPLAIN to dev about how HARD it was to carry him for all those months, especially when he wants Dev to stop questioning him. ☠️

So one day, as an experiment, Dev LIES about his future vision. Since Dev realized there was no way for anyone else to witness and vouch for the accuracy of his vision-retelling, he decides to advise his father AGAINST the deal he was prodding Dev to see a prediction for, despite his vision clearly telling him that the partnership would be extremely profitable. Dev does this for a few reasons, but it’s a decision owed in no small part to the fact that, the more successful partnerships his dad is involved with at any given time, the less time he has to spend with his son (not that his “spending time with” involves much outside of Dev telling his dad his visions and Dale ignoring any non-biussness conversation his literal child tries to start with him 🙃)

This works for a while, with dev estatic to be getting to spend more time with his dad, even IF his mood is consistently terrible from having to back out of so many potential partnerships that he thought for SURE would work and be profitable, but it didn’t occur to him that his son may be LYING until one day, a partnership HE turned down BLOWS UP after pairing with a DIFFERENT company. When confronted, Dev immediately breaks down and comes clean, trying to defend himself by claiming he “just wanted to spend more time with him”.

Dale is BEYOND un-moved by the sentiment, and swiftly bans dev from his office and advisor council, seeing very little of him for most of devs teen years (tho of course they pass by and interact now and then, Dale goes out of his way to steer clear of Dev is his “emotionally volatile state” or whatever)

Once Dev is a young adult however, Dale makes him an offer for how Dev can once again be useful to thier family business: since dev has been continuing to hone his magical abilities even in his fathers absence, by 17/18 he’s quite the skilled clairvoyant, so Dale offers to instate him as an offical employee of the Dimmadome corporation, and have him offer fortune telling services for a Hefty price.

Dev agrees, and it’s fine at first, but dev quickly realizes he HATES his job, and in addition, seeing into the future MULTIPLE TIMES A DAY was really starting to take a toll on both devs mental AND physical health (he started to struggle with migraines -hence the glasses- and near-constant dissociation episodes, to the point where dev often found himself disoriented and unsure if what he was seeing was real or a vision, if that makes sense?)

Dev eventually has enough, and works up the nerve to, at first politely, tell his father that he needs to quit his job. It takes dale and dev quite a bit of back and forth before Dale realizes the EXTENT to which dev is intending to quit (cold turkey) emotions rise steadily, until the attempted professional resignation has dissolved into a SHOUTING MATCH between a father and son

After dev SCREAMS every single thing he’s been holding back for YEARS into his fathers face, he storms off, and hasn’t been back since. Dev also indirectly trashed his office, because Devs magic reacts on its own when extreme emotions are at play (he gets the flaming hair thing from his dad tho dbdbdbendnd)

Current day dev actually isn’t SURE where he and his father stand, but he assumed it wasn’t good after all his credit cards stopped working, forcing him to take a job as a godparent to earn a living himself (Hazel was MORE than happy to drag him to godparenting school tho lmaoo)

SO YEAH THATS PRETTY MUCH IT

I miiiight make it canon that Dev and his dad reconcile and reconnect after Dev saves fairywolrd, but that’s getting into spoiler territory wheeze

wtf oh em gee anon ofc i’d love to chat about her!

for her mutation, she’s basically a blood bender, but with some extra stuff cause i thought just blood bending was a little boring lmao. i'm not the best at explaining things, so hopefully this isn’t all over the place.

in my head, she can manipulate blood that's both inside and outside of the body. she can sort of "possess" peoples bodies by either ingesting their blood or by blood-to-blood contact. if it has a blood stream, she can take it over. it’s not only limited to just the living either, corpses that still have blood in their bodies are easiest for her to manipulate.

she refrains from ever ingesting blood in fear of looking too scary, she only learned and honed the blood-to-blood contact method working with charles and hank. she can also use her own blood (other peoples as well but once again, she doesn't really want to come off as scary) as a weapon by manipulating it into sharp objects once it's spilled.

she hardly possesses living people because it takes a huge toll on her physically and it's still a little too hard for her to execute safely.

i even toyed with the idea of her being able to like...ingest a mutants ability. not forever, but if she takes enough blood from them she can retain a watered down, weaker version of whatever ability they may have for a short period of time, but i'm not so sure about making it 'canon' in my own little universe.

one cause it’s a super similar trait to rogue and two cause i obviously want her abilities to be interesting and powerful in a way, but i don't want to make her too op or a sort of mary sue type character. it's so icky reading ocs that are written to be the strongest mutant ever that body jean and magneto and everyone else under the sun. i don't ever want to give that vibe with this lol please let me know if i do don't spare my feelings like is this cool or is it too extra...

okay so what i have in my head in terms of a backstory is very chaotic and not really fully fledged in any way shape or form! the main idea i have for her is that, as a child, she was sold to a mutant testing lab by her abusive mother. her father left right after her abilities developed, refusing to raise a mutant daughter.

i know i very ominously mentioned the “scientists” and the “experiments” in afilav sort of in passing, but just know she was a mutant before she was tested on! the experiments only affected her mutation. that’s why she reacts more aggressively or viscerally to the sight and smell of blood. however, her enhanced strength and healing are a result of her time in the lab.

anyway long story short she finally broke out of the lab when she was older and started to “work” as like a free agent for a couple years.

killed whoever wherever for whoever for lots of money. she never stayed in one place long. she liked being off the grid, mostly drifting from state to state sleeping in shelters, on park benches, in abandoned cars, but only until she was found by charles xavier.

that's really it! i'm trying to think out some more aspects of her that are only half-baked ideas so i won't bother writing them down lol thanks for the question anon! i had so much fun actually sitting down and writing this.

It took me more than a year to answer this because I was considering how much of my cringe I can put on the internet. Anyway here we go dfkjghdfk

Imma be honest I genuinely don't see Kick and Kendall as a type of people to get married and have a family. Like idk, as adults I see their relationship as pretty casual, they would be more interested to do their own thing and spend time with each other whenever they feel like it.

I did came up with lots of ideas for other characters' kids too but it's a bit outdated bc I don't really see Janther as a thing that much anymore. I dunno if I ever post that but like…. It exists I guess

So this two brats (affectionate) are Chloe and Kennedy.

Chloe is a photographer :) She shares her dad's thrill seeking attitude but doesn't really have a talent for acrobatics and is a bit clumsy. So whenever she sees a potentially cool shot (because it's never just a normal view, she HAS to go down in the gutters or climb a lamp post) she goes straight for it and most likely will get stuck. She is crafty as well, most of her schemes to get the best but complicated picture requires only like, a camera and a stick.

She has a lil quirk of spelling her name with a "K" because she doesn't want to be left out of the family. It annoys Kendall a bit because "My little sunshine, please, you know that's not how you spell it"

Kennedy on the other hand is more chill. He is more level headed than his sister, but still can be emotional at times. He actually likes doing stunts and dangerous stuff but is insecure about it because when your dad is famous daredevil you are bound to be overshadowed in that matter. (Giving fankid daddy issues if fun) Other than that he also enjoys reading and almost a bookworm. Almost. 

Also. Mommy's boy.

Both have their mom's knack for academics so they rarely worried about their grades. Both are actually in the top bunch of their classes with Kenny being straight A+ student. The only reason Chloe isn't like that is because she does her homework right before the lesson.

And because of Kick and Kendall's experience with older siblings, they really didn't want Kennedy to be antagonistic towards Chloe. They kinda succeeded by making them spend more time together, so while they still fight (siblings be siblings) they are more friendly overall, with Kennedy taking care of his sister on his own accord and Chloe frequently asking Kennedy for help with her shenanigans. since you drew him in the western au outfit i suppose ill give a little context for that max specifically!! ok so, maxy is (obviously) a trans man in every different au, and in this one he was the only daughter of a wealthy family that owned a large ranch. in the beginning before the horrors [which i’ll get to in a second] he starts kind of like every other max he’s just kind of an annoying spoiled brat who really only cares for himself and is just generally an asshole. the only person he really likes is his personal butler eden [@\tacticalvulva ‘s oc] who he grew up with. their relationship is kind of like, if eden was assigned to do something else for the day like run errand or something and one of the other butlers was supposed to tend to max for the day he’d be like “NO i want EDEN where is HE? hes the only one that knows how to do things RIGHT” cause hes very particular and also a brat [+ the autissmm… his routine]

anyways, because his parents “had no son” they set up max in an arranged marriage with Richard [ @/grfld101 ‘s oc] max was, well, furious when he found out and had a melt down. he thought it was unfair and was mortified by the idea of having to just be someone’s wife for the rest of his life. a big reason why this freaked him out asside from obvious reasons is that max has a very big complex surrounding control, he likes having everything and everyone around him EXACTLY how he likes it and the thought of losing any form of control/ having to sort of have his life dictated by someone else [EX: Parents, a husband] makes him want to die.

anyways fast forward to him actually meeting richard, he fucking HATES this guys guts automatically and is genuinely just incredibly rude towards him/ doesn’t give him the light of day, and will even order eden to do stupid shit like poor a bucket of water on him. anyways this goes on for awhile and one day max and rich are told to go on like a leisurely horse ride together to “get to know your future spouse” or whatever and he is NOT pleased. after maybe 20 minutes of silence he would say something along the lines of this in a very haughty voice,“you know im only out here because my PARENTS forced me to. if it were up to me i wouldn’t even be within one mile of you” really annoying turns up his nose. anyways long story short while they’re out in the woods he accidentally falls off his horse into a river/stream and is like AAAAA so rich goes down to help, and max who is incredibly embarrassed, instinctively shoved richard into the water aswell. this ends up with them like tousling but then they start laughing and just throwing water at eachother and shit. they have a “we have to dry our clothes” moment and so they end up sitting out in the woods for awhile, and after a bit of silence i imagine him being like “yknow ive always been jealous” “jealous?” “of men. you get to do whatever you want go out be free and take charge and i get to be, a wife.” and voz said richard would say something along the lines of, “ I never really saw you as a wife. generally, i mean. Not as wife material, just i don’t see that life for you”

LONG STORY SHORT after that max actually starts to develop feelings for him. rich already had sort of a budding crush on max before that but max entirely disliked rich before this encounter. along the way they DO fall in love and richard, knowing that if they stayed that their parents, (especially richard’s parents) would never allow max to live the life he wants he asks max to elope with him and gifts him his pearl earrings as sort of his own form of engagement. max agrees and both of them are sort of giddy with excitement/ anticipation the night they planned to run, but that was cut short by them being caught. they’re forcibly pulled apart and max watxhes as richard gets his eye slashed, but he’s dragged away before he can see what happens. in his mind they have killed richard. has soon as he can he runs hysterically crying to find eden screaming his name and he BEGS him to help him escape to anywhere that isn’t here. his one chance at genuine happiness and the love of his life lost in the same instant he is more distressed and traumatized than he has ever been in his entire life. eden, who would do anything for him, instantly agrees and gathers all the necessary things to get out of there on horseback as soon as possible.

on the first night they managed to find an in to sleep in Eden vows to never leave max’s side for as long as he lives. they already had a sort of codependent relationship before this but it becomes much more like, extreme(?) after this point. (there’s also the matter of eden’s unrequited love for max but i wont explain all that here…). max for the first few months has sort of extreme mood swings of being catatonic and then hysterically crying the next night until eventually it sort of simmers into his constantly pissed off/ on edge ticking time bomb default current state. at some point not to long into their escape eden ends up having to kill someone for max. and max, who on top of already being kinda fucked in the head now has experienced the huge trauma of the night of the slash+ escape, instead of being distraught at this he just kind of, laughs. it has to do with his weird thing with control/ coping, he sees how kind of easy it is to just, take someone’s life and the rush kind of goes to his head a bit. not saying he becomes kind of a serial killer but i’m saying he becomes kind of a serial killer.

years later he confides in eden that he’s TIRED AND BORED of being a vagabond and he wants to MAKE something of himself. there’s a period of time we haven’t really cooked on here in which he transitions [clothes hairstyle starts going my maximillion] and ends up becoming the evil ass mayor of a town. he gets a sort of high from being in control of the lives of all these little townspeople it’s like a fucked up dollhouse to him
