like okay. look. there is in fact zero evidence either way that buck liked or disliked the fact that tommy called him evan. as in, it was never specifically stated. but "buck never corrected him" is not a convincing argument for "liked it" or (even more of a reach) "loved it" on account of literally everything about buck. not just his tendency to fall into the same people-pleasing patterns and identity problems. but everything that the show has established about buck as a name. as a chosen name. as one of the few things that is his. like. buck as an identity is so central and important to buck as a character. because it's one he chose for himself and no one else. and significantly it's what the family that is his that he chose for himself call him. and the thing about buck with tommy is that. well. buck lost his grip on his identity somewhere in the idea of tommy. he hinges his sexuality on tommy. doesn't examine it any further than tommy. he also just, doesn't correct tommy on his interests. lets tommy keep believing they're into the same things. even though he is Not interested in the things tommy is. which in part leads to. the lakers tickets. six months later and tommy still thinks buck loves basketball. which he Hates btw. and well, he lets tommy call him evan. and like, also throughout all of this, tommy is on the fringes, shown consistently to be on the outside of the family buck chose, at odds with who buck is. buck never lets him in. because there is a part of buck that knows that there is something not right here, that tommy is dating a version of him that doesn't even really exist. and well ultimately tommy realises this too. when he calls him buck only when breaking up with him.

while i'm talking about sarah j mass, actually the most offensive story beat she ever wrote was turning dorian into manon's dom daddy. like why did she do that. they were like the best characters until the first time they were in a room together, in which both of their personalities just disintegrated into a fine dust so they could fulfill the Male and Female roles they were assigned. one of the most bizarre story choices i've ever witnessed in my life

ANDREIL BIKER AU - SELF INDULGING ALTERNATIVE VERSION

Neil waits for Andrew to pick him up from university. The December air is freezing, and snow is gently piling up on the ground around him. He thinks he can feel the cold down to his bones. After a few minutes, Neil finally hears the familiar sound of a roaring engine and looks up.

Andrew pulls over and leans in for a quick, passionate kiss. Neil knows his boyfriend can taste the ice on his freezing lips, can taste it on his tongue. Andrew wordlessly pushes a helmet on Neil’s head and waits for him to climb on the motorbike.

Without turning around, Andrew reaches for Neil’s hands and removes his gloves. Andrew gives his hands a squeeze before roughly guiding them into his own pockets. Neil just hugs him tighter, and snuggles his head into Andrew’s scarf, finding comfort in the familiar smell.

Neil’s mouth meets uncovered skin and he smiles against Andrew’s neck, before gently biting him. Andrew does not need to ask, they don’t need words. This is their language; Thank you, I love you, I want you (even if I don’t want to).

They stay like this for a minute, locked in the intimate embrace, their hands intertwined in Andrew’s pockets and Neil’s mouth at his boyfriend’s jaw. It’s only when Neil’s body is racked by an uncontrollable shiver that Andrew steps on the pedal. The engine revs and then they’re gone, only leaving behind a cloud of soft snow dust.

Thinking about DP x DC Jason Todd being a revenant again. Here's my scenario. Jason gets called that by some ghost. He's like "what the fuck is that supposed to mean?" He's heard the term before but he doesn't know any actual lore. He googles it. He scrolls past the Leonardo DiCaprio bear movie. He opens the wiki. Sees the words "animated corpse" and gets a chill diwn his spine. He starts reading the first section.

He closes Wikipedia.

That night he has a nightmare that his family buried him, again, this time with precautions. He wakes up in his own grave, full of stones, too heavy to move, to scream.
