Ouh. I really like how out of all the antagonists in the series, Prism's motivations (and her turning to Zoraxis) are directly influenced by Phoenix's track record. She has the most personal beef with the agent, though it's a little ironic that her TK implant helped the agent's success. If it weren't for Prism, Phoenix wouldn't be the legend that they are known for.

...Except...That's minimizing Phoenix's own ingenuity and skill with the implant, isn't it? It's a useful tool, yes! But in the end, it's just a tool. Phoenix was able to use it in unique ways, and that's not counting whatever else Phoenix has to do in the moment without TK. If it weren't for Phoenix's own efforts (and their strange ability to not Die), Prism wouldn't be forced to take revenge.

They're their own self-made people, but inevitably they left such a huge impact on each other before the third game...and if Prism wasn't the one who personally added the implant in Phoenix's head, then they haven't even interacted in person!

It could be seen as a little tragic, and it sorta is--Prism's desire for revenge is a little misplaced (and, yes, it is bolstered by Zor when she switches to their side). For all we know, Phoenix never intended to be the villain in Prism's story. But Prism's frustrated and angry and devastated about being reduced to the One Project she made. She just wanted to make something bigger than herself.

And it's really nice to see Phoenix help her once she recognizes that Zor's been using her all this time...even if it takes some time for Prism to really let them help her.

It takes the combination of their unique skills, brainpower, and their eventual trust in one another to destroy Zor's volcano kinesium base. Prism gets saved by the person she thought made her dreams impossible, and in return, Phoenix gets saved in the one IEYTD ending where they're not declared legally dead. I feel like that's something interesting? Because this is also the one finale where Phoenix has an active ally working with them close to their side (...as close as Prism and Phoenix could get, anyway).

Well. Anyway. What was I talking about? Enemies who are closely intertwined with one another's journeys end up becoming each other's most important allies? Okay, yeah. Let's go with that.

Bat Feeder

AN: I keep seeing those rich people social media posts where people fill Dollie’s up with snacks and leave them outside for delivery drivers, and imagining doing something similar for the bats. Bat-Fam/Reader, 1K words (Batman, Harley Quinn, Nightwing, Red Hood, Robin, Signal, and Spoiler) CWs: None, just a silly little fluff fic. GN! Reader

It starts small, just a tray with some water bottles, packs of gum, maybe some protein bars and a multi-pack of chips you bought but didn’t like. You write ‘For Batman, Robin, and other vigilantes; Thanks for what you do :)‘ in Sharpie on the front of the tray and leave it on your balcony, not really expecting much, it was just a silly thought after too much doom scrolling.

It goes untouched for weeks, you’ve almost forgotten about it until one night, at like 2 AM you hear the sound of heavy boots walking on metal grate, so faint you would have missed it if you’d been asleep. Curious, you peek through your curtain and there’s Red Hood!

He stands there for a long time, motionless as he seems to stare at it, helmet hiding any real emotion until he pockets a pack of gum and water before leaving, dropping down into the street.

News must spread amongst the other heroes cause within a few days the basket is nearly empty. Enthused, the next time you go to the store you pick up some new items, just a few extra bits that are within your budget; chips that don’t taste like cardboard, candy, and energy drinks.

Your efforts are clearly appreciated as you wind up having to restock every couple of days. The energy drinks are the biggest takers, and you worry you might be supplying the younger ones with high amounts of caffeine that they shouldn’t be having.

One day you’re scrolling through insta during your work break and see Spoiler has posted a masked selfie of herself holding up a chocolatey protein bar with the caption ‘Perks of the job! 💜⭐️ #thankyoukindcivilian’ or something like that. In the back of the photo you see your basket and you’re elated.

Another day you wake up to a note wedged halfway through your window, it’s from Robin, stating that he’s a vegan and if it’s not too much trouble could you cater to that. The same day you dump a bunch of fruit that you were never gonna eat anyway into the basket and hope it will hold over until your next trip to the store where you spend ages examining the dietary information of everything you pick up, eventually finding a couple of items you hope he’ll like.

Your efforts are appreciated because the next day you find another note from him offering his gratitude.

After the novelty has worn off it dies down, you fall into a routine; they never take too much, so you only have to top it up every few weeks. Until one morning you wake up to find it completely ransacked, your sign has been scribbled out, replaced by the words: ‘THX 4 THE SNACKS’, and a bunch of doodles. You suspect Harley Quinn since one of the drawings is her trademark 3 of diamonds.

Unsure how to proceed, you clean up the mess and bring it inside. You don’t want to attract danger, but you did enjoy doing it. The graffitied tray sits by the door for a long time while you consider what to do, more and more forgotten with each day.

That’s until there’s a knock on your balcony door in the middle of the night. Seems ominous, risky in a city like Gotham, especially after what happened with Harley, but just like that night with Red Hood, you can’t help but investigate.

When you poke your head around the curtain you find Nightwing staring back at you. He smiles and waves to you like you’re long-time friends and it does a lot to ease your shock.

“Um, hi. Can I help you?” You ask as you open the door.

“Uh, maybe, see, I came all the way from Blüdhaven cause I was told there would be snacks.” He replies, dramatically looking around your balcony as he speaks. “But there’s no snacks.”

“Yeah. I stopped after Harley Quinn vandalised it.” You gesture to the now discarded red and black tray. “But I have some chocolate, if you want some. Or do you like Cheez-Its?”

“You don’t have to do that.” He sounds disappointed.

“No it’s fine, it’s no trouble, wait here!”

You raid your kitchen before returning with a handful of snacks and drinks from your own supply and offer them Nightwing.

“Oh wow, Thanks!”

You didn’t have to, but you’re glad you did. He has such a genuinely giddy look on his face.

“Really though, we don’t do it for the free stuff, we appreciate it a lot.” He speaks between mouthfuls of M&Ms. “If you ever wanted to do it again, I wouldn’t worry about Harley. She's mostly harmless to civilians these days.”

He thanks you a few more times before leaving to finish his patrol, but not before warning; “Hey, don’t open your door for any more strangers in the middle of the night, yeah? Well, unless they’re as handsome as me.”

Harley being mostly harmless doesn’t fill you with confidence, but you figure if those guys are brave enough to risk their lives fighting crime, you can be brave enough to put a box of treats outside. This time with a new sign that reads “For Bats, birds, other vigilantes, and Harley Quinn ♥️”

You hope including her might make her less likely to lash out.

From there everything falls back into normality for a while, you even start adding seasonal treats for special occasions, until eventually, they seem to stop by less and less, perhaps they grew bored or maybe you’re not a convenient stop on their latest patrol route, you don’t really mind, you persist.

Every now and again on your days off you’ll spot signal stopping by, he always gives you a smile and a thumbs up when he sees you watching him.

After months and months, maybe a year or so it happens. The big one. You’re struggling to sleep one night, the flat just feels too hot, too claustrophobic. Overwhelmed by it you storm outside, needing the night sky and its cold air but when you get there you’re greeted by an imposing shadow of a man, Batman. He’s holding a half-drunk bottle of water and his entire body is so stock still, you’re not even sure if he’s real or a statue. After a solid minute of silent staring you quietly step back inside, count to 30, and re-emerge. He’s gone, completely dissolved into the darkness of the night with half a bottle of water and a snack pack of mint Oreos.

Man, time felt like it has gone too fast this year and I’m still not fully ready for 2025. I have been anxious just thinking about it this whole time, not knowing what to expect next as this now past year has not really been that crazy good…some bad stuff here and there, my self esteem and thoughts of myself still down in the dumps and all.

But hey, at least I’m still alive and well! Surprisingly. If my younger self got to hear how far she has gotten without a single thought of just finally ending it all like she almost thought she would end up doing back then due to the harsh reality she had to deal with, she wouldn’t believe it at all.

Anyway, no time for going through folders of the past of little me. Let’s for now just hope that this year will at least be bearable and not too much and overwhelming…. Tho i probably shouldn’t be getting my hopes up just yet.

The whole premise is that people have slowly gone missing in this town (gardenveiw)

starting with dandy (when most of the cast (?) were children) and ending with sprout and Cosmo, at least thus far in the timeline I’ve made up in my head. though it should be noted that the disappearances have happened years apart, the only two that are weirdly close together are sprout and Cosmo (specifically by 3 months)

The mains (and a few others) are these creatures called twisteds 1 because they are like a twisted version of a normal toon (ex: weird anatomy, voice, appearance… they are like the creepy pasta of the toon world. 2 because I’m not original.

- In a way these beings have grown to be a sort of spread around myth on the small town, so towns people know about them. Somewhat. The most they know is that twisteds can be dangerous. (A Little context behind the Ginger and Cosmo image)

A lot of Toon’s do obviously just assume it was some story that was passed around to simply make your kids go to bed on time though, so not many of the present toons actual believe in it. —-

anywho here’s some things about the town:

it’s half surrounded by forest. mysterious black liquid has been found in several parts of the woods and in town, often in decaying and dying things. No more croppps. pretty small town. It is somewhat in the middle of nowhere after all one of those towns where everyone knows everyone and they are weird about new people I’d call it a toon’s version of a boom town that somehow didn’t turn into a ghost town really weird history, may or may not get into that. Currently has several cut off areas, luckily not near peoples houses, but no one will really explain what’s happening to any of the toon’s

they can shapeshift in the sense of seeming taller or having sharper nails. Most of them can’t entirely change identity just physical attributes. Their ichor seems more poisonous. Can and will hide out as normal toon’s. Don’t ask why, it depends on which one you’re talking to. if your friend goes missing and you see them again after like… a month. run. (Don’t be like cosmo, he’s not dead but he’s also not safe) what do they even want? Where did they come from? who knows?? They won’t answer that. some have different abilities (ex: Astro can make people hallucinate). don’t shoot them, it won’t work they seem to find missing people or are the reasons for a toon’s disappearance. most twisteds don’t look entirely alive, but they are. it’s hard to tell if they can turn people or if certain toons have always just been weird creatures. Eyes look different from a normal toon, but it’s really hard to tell. Also here’s some random little blips about characters:

Rodger technically isn’t a detective, more like deputy, but hey he’s trying his best. Single father yhe entire case is kinda driving him insane. rodger is also the only person who can really help that cares rn, but even that realization takes him more than a moment. Sprout went missing and was presumed dead r sometime after Cosmo came back to visit the town and his family. cosmo is now sticking around to help Ginger and some of his other family members with their like family owned bakery. That and he can’t fathom how sprout is actually dead and wants to figure out what happened to him. (After which he goes looking and starts to feel like he’s insane) sprout learned to cook and bake from cosmo’s family, so he’d also initially been helping out with the bakery too. prior to everything he seemed normal. Ginger is trying to convince Cosmo to let it go because the last person who went snooping did not come back. she’s just trying to move past the whole situation, she’s seen enough to know that interfering was stupid. dandy went missing when he was around 9. along with pebble whi quickly followed his owner off into the woods. after that is was Astro (3 years after dandy so he was like 12) then it was Vee (5 years after Astro, so she was 17) and then Shelly (2 years after Vee so she was 19) and sprout’s disappearance was random, years after all the others, but he may not have been a normal toon in the first place.

anyway I’m planning to draw something of a comic for it, name it, and make am actual organized post about it. It may take me a bit though (like a month) due to my life being kinda messy right now.

whoops had a dream about this au where sonic.exe was there for some reason and doodled them again. some notes:

sorta vaguely still takes place in the sonic universe just very au. the main divergence is both shadow and maria escaped the ark, lived in hiding for a long time, and while shadow eventually obviously got in touch with his relatives (since eggman is dumping his kids on him) but he faked maria's death after the Portal Incident. so like vaguely the sonic plot is going on in the background but stuff like sonic adventure 2 never happened and characters like rouge and shadow never really got involved with stuff.

sage and metal obviously aren’t twins, but they’re both vaguely on the level of 11-12 year olds. metal isn’t really past the mental state she was created at bc she was neglected so much, sage is only a few months old but she had to mature too quick bc. look at her father and her sister.

sage is generally the more rational of the two (bc she isn’t instantly killing people bc she’s bored mostly), though she's absolutely not as cold and logical as she appears. she's very driven to be “useful”, because she’s terrified that she’s been abandoned and that she wasn’t “good enough” and she doesn’t want to lose the few things she still has, which drives her into her intense investigation of anything abnormal she can find. her lil hat has a sage on it 💚

metal is. metal. she's a tiny whirlwind of anger and hate. she's the emotional sister, but not in the excited and enthusiastic sense she’s just extremely messed up emotionally and reacts with violence towards the slightest provocation. she does open up a bit after time with someone who treats her as a person (which makes her become extremely clingy towards shadow which he’s. concerned about) but even when out of her shell a bit her joy is violence. she's recently realised she’s a girl and is experimenting by going full 12 year old girly girl bc she hasn’t realised she’s a goth yet (and is honestly kind of having fun with glitter and sequins, especially after she learnt you can take peoples eyes out with them, but she will Not admit it ever)

shadow is fucking Concerned bc like. all he knows about these two at first is that they’re his nephew who’s trying to take over the world or somethings kids and he doesn’t want to have to deal with robot invasions into his town bc he’s fucking tired of life. he did Not expect the two most traumatised robot kids known to man. he’s still laying low in a small town where interpol won’t find him, but he’s aimless as shit and has like 0 friends. his protectiveness over maria lead to the argument that caused the Portal Incident, and in his guilt he’s lost sight of what he once promised in a singleminded quest to get her back. yes he runs a scam ass tourist trap. he hates every second of it it’s just good business when ur kind of a passive beacon of chaos energy and you cannot avoid weird shit.

maria robotnik inherited the genius in most of her family and wanted to use it for good, but due to her nids she knew her time was running out. blood transfusions from shadow kept her alive as an emergency treatment, but as her disease progressed she sunk more and more into her research and eventually felt like she was trapped and unable to spread her inventions before she passed, leading to her and shadow's falling out. also demon consorting. she managed to find a somewhat of a cure after the Portal Incident but at a high price, she still suffers with the majority of symptoms even worse than before and is very sickly and weak but won’t die from it progressing. she’s grown rather jaded and bitter, a far cry from her innocent self as a child, but she’s still optimistic and wants to help the world. starting with the murder children her lil baby cousin ivo built for some reason what the fuck she is getting those two therapy immediately.

since sonic adventure 2 never happened rogue never ended up involved in the plot but she did eventually meet shadow anyway, when she was still a teenager looking for gems Very Illegally (shadow gives off the same readings as a chaos emerald, unfortunately for her). he's kind of become a very grumpy mentor figure to her bc she still hangs out around him bc she finds him very funny to tease when she’s not out stealing gems. sage finds her cool (and has a bit of a crush, but she’s unaware bc she doesn’t really know about romance let alone lesbianism) and she lets metal stab things if he gives her jewellery to make her look the other way, so she kind of ends up becoming a cool older friend to the robotnik sisters tho she does think they’re kind of weird.

sonic.exe is here bc it’s funny for him to be bill and that’s the only reason. but that aside he's a demon fucking around before he implements his plan to turn the world into his playground. he's barely more mature than the siblings, roughly on the same level as a teenager (which was also the age maria was when she did her consorting with demons) but he’s also completely sadistic and an absolute asshole (which… is kind of true for metal too but she's vaguely developing a moral compass and a sense of humanity after having a semi decent guardian) and likes hurting people for fun. his form is edgy sonic bc he takes the form of something his targets recognise to fuck with them.

big literally just lives here. he moved back in after adventure 1. he's literally just chilling. good for him.

Alright alright I should probably post this, sorry for a sudden disappearance! My phones been in repair and I only have my iPad to do all my socials and idk for me I just don’t like posting on my iPad it’s purely a me thing 😭…. Anyways! Then a major jump into Zoey and garroth with Child (zenith) and before you say “why does she have her dogs out 😭😭” WELLL ELVES WANT TO FEEL THE EARTH TO ABSORB THE NATURAL MAGICCC while they’re expecting :3, I’m gonna say some things about elves and their pregnancy!

Elves carry for about 10-11 months

They have cravings for magic induced fruits

Within the culture elves embroider on a blanket for their babies , not just for fun but for a spell that’s woven in the blanket for protection (this practice is now banned in Yggdrasil due to the law of using magicks )

Usually in Yggdrasil there’s a garden for expecting mothers, young children and their parents , and new borns and parents to soak in the nature magic’s . It relaxes them and it’s a need for children and new Borns to walk around the garden. Since Zoey is banished from Yggdrasil she’s kinda just walks around a neighbors garden , but garroth makes their own private garden with the help of Travis and Lucinda for magical plants!
