First Line Game
tagged by @ferrame thank you very much 😘 Reading your first lines was a pleasure!
Rules: List the first lines of your last 20 stories (if you have less than 20, just list them all!). See if there are any patterns. Choose your favorite opening line. Then tag 10 of your favorite authors.
Most of these are posted fics, except for the last two which are seriously in progress :)
Oh and I'm only including one of the kink bingo ficlets, or that'd be all there is 🙈
1. Dressed (Theon hosts a costume party)
“Let me see what you’ve got so far,” Robb says, curiously peeking over Theon’s shoulder.
2. Lights, Camera... Eggnog (A nude calendar shooting and the consequences)
The crisp December air smells nicely of wood fires and snow, and Jon takes a deep breath as he makes his way over the slippery cobblestones in the main building’s yard.
3. Winterfell Night (A Jaime/Brienne ficlet)
The sounds of light footsteps on frozen snow have Brienne’s shoulders hunch around her ears.
4. Another Christmas Carol (Theon, three ghosts and an eventful christmas)
The house looks just the same as it always has.
5. The Office (Shenanigans in a corporate setting)
Theon leans back in his chair, letting his gaze sweep over the view outside the window.
6. Persimmons (Dany/Yara mini ficlet)
Cities have proved easy to conquer.
7. Tuesdays (Uh... well. This is. Um. Shameless porn is what it is)
Evenings have become the bane of Theon’s existence since he’s moved to the capital.
8. True Love's Kiss (the Tangled Greysnow AU no one asked for but I did it anyway)
A long time ago the Lord of the North, whom people called the Wolf, went to war, leaving behind his newlywed bride.
9. Lie on Your Back and Take It Like a Man (PWP. OT3)
“You look scared.”
10. Greysnow Ficlets, Chapter 15: Steve (purest crack)
The box is huge, and Jon can’t contain his nervosity at what might be inside.
11. Law of the North (Theon is sentenced to die, Jon saves him, Theon isn't amused. Stuff happens.)
The day dawns as bright and beautiful as only a summer day in the North can.
12. Keep Following (Theon kink bingo, OT3, basically Jon and Robb bickering about who gets Theon)
“It’s my turn, you had him for the whole weekend!”
13. The Horny Kraken Prince (A Little Mermaid AU, only with tentacles and NSFW)
Impatiently, Theon lifts a tentacle to shove a strand of wet hair out of his face.
14. Let it Greysnow, Chapter 7: Mulled Wine (Seasonal ficlets. Jon wants wine, Theon wants to annoy Jon)
“Give me that damn wine.”
15. The Kraken Prince and His Horny Husband (a tentacly wedding night)
“Are you telling me where we’re going now?”
16. I'll be whoever you want me to be (Law of the North verse: Theon visits the brothel and picks the wrong whore. Theon/Satin)
Theon blames the lack of lights downstairs.
17. Tighter (Theon-in-a-corset mini ficlet that took on its own life)
Theon braces himself against the wall, the warm stone like a living thing under his palms.
18. I Do (I Really Don't) (Fake Marriage AU, currently posting that one)
Jon hadn’t thought about his wedding day too often.
19. The Superhero AU (WIP I'm going to focus on next)
The cold, wet air hits Theon’s face like a damp cloth, making him shiver in his fashionable but sadly impractical coat.
20. As of yet untitled WIP that tells the whole story of Tighter. If I can think of a title soon, I'll post the first chapter ^^'
“What a long day!” Sansa lets herself sink into the large chair by the fire, exhaling a grateful sigh.
Tbh I don't see any other pattern than the sentences being short and relatively uninteresting. I'm more of a last-sentence-gal lol
Tagging @salty-wench, @evax3, @attaining-fic, @selkiewife, @florentium, @callmejude, @capraiaso, @littlerockerao3, @northernfieldsforever and @estrangedandwayward if you like!
#tag game#greysnow#(mostly)#my writing#ao3 fics#long post#yay for tumblr games that keep me busy during my boring work

Gendrya FanFic Ideas
So, since I’m taking forever to write the current Gendrya fic I’m working on, I thought I’d post some ideas I’ve had and see if anyone wants to take them up. If not, cool, if yes, let me know, I can help with plotting. I’ve posted these on r/Gendrya already, but figured there’s more who might be interested her on Tumblr. Anyways, here they are, up to what I have. You can certainly change things and/or continue from what I have: 1. A Prince Gendry AU Everything the same at beginning of series, except Gendry is the eldest son of Robert and Cersei. Robert and family journey to Winterfell to ask Ned to be Hand, and to betroth Gendry to Sansa. Sansa does not like Gendry because he doesn't conform to her ideas about knights and princes (his hobby is blacksmithing which she thinks is dirty and unbecoming a prince), but likes Joffrey, because she thinks he is an ideal prince. Gendry thinks Sansa is shallow and stuck up. Gendry becomes friendly with the other Stark children, and Arya is particularly taken by him, especially when he makes her a sword at Jon's request (he makes Needle!). They bond over not pleasing their mothers (Cersei is not fond of Gendry as he looks like Robert).
Gendry doesn't want to marry Sansa because they'd be miserable, but Robert insists his heir marry a Stark daughter. Gendry suggests Arya because they get along and perhaps a good marriage should start with friendship. Arya is reluctant at first, but Gendry tells her he doesn’t want a queen like his mother, supposedly a perfect lady, that he wants a queen he could trust to lead an army into a battle. He tells her they could rule as equals, so she agrees. Cersei dislikes the idea of Arya and Gendry together, and insists that Sansa and Joffrey are a better match. Two betrothals are then made, Gendry & Arya, and Sansa & Joffrey, with it acknowledged that Sansa and Joffrey's marriage will come first since Arya is so young.
Privately, Gendry tells Ned his concerns about Jon Arryn's death, as he had started Jon Arryn on his investigation by asking about his bastard siblings. Gendry also tells Ned Joffrey is a cruel and the betrothal with Sansa should be set aside as soon as possible. Ned isn’t sure what to make of all this, but thinks well of Gendry so far, and tells Gendry he will look into these matters.
Everyone journey's to King's Landing as before, and everything happens as it did, just with Gendry involved. (For example, he’s not there when Nymeria attacks Joffrey, but went looking for Arya with Ned. He gets into an argument with Robert over cowing to Cersei’s demand that Lady be killed. After he comforts Arya when she’s upset about losing Nymeria.) Catelyn still arrests Tyrion, starting the war.
After Robert dies at the hunt, for which Gendry is present, Cersei accuses Gendry of conspiring with Ned to kill Robert. During an attempted arrest of Gendry and Ned, Ned is killed. Gendry rides out of the city with Arya sharing his horse (he fights gold cloaks with a war hammer, she gets one with Needle), along with Renly, Renly's men and Barristan Selmy, the only member of the Kingsguard to follow Gendry. Joffrey is proclaimed King by Cersei, and Renly and Stannis both declare Gendry as king.
The two uncles fight to control him and Gendry has difficulty getting things going because of it. Renly pressures Gendry to set aside Arya to marry Maergery Tyrell, while Stannis insists the betrothal be honored. Gendry and Arya marry a la Jaeherys I and Alysanne, and Brienne of Tarth is offered by Renly as Arya’s sworn shield and sword instructor. Meanwhile, Robb Stark has some successes fighting the Lannisters, as before, and is declared King in the North. Catelyn Stark rides to the Baratheon camp to make an alliance, but is met by an angry King Gendry and Queen Arya, who feel like the North has betrayed them and blame Catelyn for starting this war and getting both of their fathers killed. 2. Ned sends Gendry to Stannis AU
Ned sends Gendry to Stannis to keep him safe before shit goes down, so he and Arya don't meet when she goes with Yoren. Since Gendry is not with Yoren and Arya, the gold cloaks never come looking for him, and Yoren is able to bring Arya to Robb and Catelyn with little incident. Robb still abandons the Frey alliance for Talisa. But instead of going back to the Freys, Robb goes to Stannis, reasoning that since losing on the Blackwater, Stannis will be more willing to accept the same terms that Renly had agreed to. Stannis, at Melisandre's prompting, proposes a marriage alliance between a legitimized Gendry, and Arya. Robb accepts, assuming Arya agrees, and Stannis, his family and Gendry and Melisandre come to Riverrun. Arya eventually agrees, after her mother talks to her about duty and how they are only in this situation because Robb didn’t do his duty. Once the wedding is held, Stannis's men will come over from Dragonstone.
Stannis and Melisandre are super obsessed with Gendry and Arya having a son - they have plans for it, but only keep saying that House Baratheon needs male heirs. But Melisandre keeps talking about their children having king's blood from two different sources, Arya as a King's sister and Gendry as a King's son - take of that what you will.
Arya and Gendry try to deal with all this the best they can, both before and after the wedding. They bond over their love of weaponry, being outsiders and feeling like nothing more than pawns to their family. They begin to fall in love and do consummate their marriage. Aged up Arya to 15-16, because she'd be like 13-14 during all this otherwise. Gendry would be 18 still. Arya and Gendry have about a month together as a married couple before Stannis’ men make it from Dragonstone and the war must continue. 3. Viserion Lives AU (this is my least developed AU)
Viserion does not die during the wight hunt, but no one else does either. At Winterfell, after Rhaegal takes Jon as a rider, Viserion ends up taking Gendry. Why, since he's not a Targaryen? Well, he's the male line descendant of Aerion Targaryen, father of Aegon the Conqueror. That makes him and Jon the last male line descendants of the dragonlords. He (Viserion) takes to hanging out by the forge a lot, scaring most people, but Gendry and Arya. Dany begins to think about marrying both Jon and Gendry, as the dragon has three heads*. Arya does NOT like the idea sweeping up the two men she loves most (though in different ways, this is Gendrya, not Jonrya)
* @gizkasparadise (nymja on AO3) introduced this in her fic "Fury" and I love it because it makes so much political sense for Dany, especially after she learns Jon is Rhaegar’s son.

yup so this is going to be me talking about all the jonsa moments.
because i can.
so yeah
enjoy! <3 under the cut because LONG.
so i’m going to start with their reunion. i’m going to try to keep this in chronological order but if i mix things up, sorry! im really excited to talk about a few of all of these moments!! anyways... yes. the reunion scene.
i love this first shot so much.
we get both of their faces as they see each other for the first time. jon is so surprised he lets go of the railing and takes a step back. look at his expression, its like he’s seen a ghost. he can’t believe that sansa is actually standing there in his own courtyard. hundreds of thoughts must be running through his mind at that point but im sure they all go back to just her name, over and over again.
sansa is still taking in her surroundings but as her eyes fall on jon, you can see her face change (below gif) and you can see how relieved she is. im sure she didn’t dare believe to find him here, even though he was (at least, to her knowledge still) the lord commander. why wouldn’t he have been there?
what i love about this first shot of sansa is you can see her catch her breath. her shoulders come up as she inhales and you can hear her exhale a moment later. her eyes are on him as he sees her standing there. she’s so relieved to see him there. at this point, she isnt sure she has anyone else left to her. arya is probably dead and yeah, theon said bran and rickon were alive, but who knows now? she’s been used and abused for SO FUCKING LONG at this point and all she wants is someone who’s going to take care of her and remind her that there’s still some good left in the world. at this point, i dont even think she’s thought about what comes next. there’s no thought of fighting ramsay or taking back winterfell. all she’s thinking about is the fact that he’s standing right there in front of her now. he’s the same jon she remembered from childhood.
and i wonder too how nervous is she, or not at all? she makes him accept her apology later on and i wonder if she’s afraid he doesnt even want to see her. or maybe such a thought doesnt cross her mind because this is jon and she already knows thats the last thing he’s going to be thinking about.
this is jon after he’s seen her for the first time. she’s slipped off her horse and it cuts to the first gif of her staring back at him. i cant even begin to imagine what jon must be thinking right in this moment. he’s seeing her for the first time in how long? how many years has it been since they last saw each other? and wow, this isnt the sister he knew from childhood.
she’s pale and shivering, she looks so frightened. her clothes are messy and the sansa he knew never had a hair out of place, let alone dirty, messed up clothes. but he cant get past the fear in her eyes or the dirt (bruises?) on her face. she’s not the same girl he once knew. and at once he’s guilt ridden. what’s happened to her? im sure he’s asking himself this over and over again as he comes closer, im sure he’s afraid to allow himself to wonder. he might even be afraid to think its really her. how could it be? and why is she even here?
and my god, he’s only just come back to life. he’s just been betrayed by those he called brother, comrade. he’s ready to run away from all of this. he says he’s going to go south and get warm because what was left for him here? everyone he’s ever loved is dead or tried to kill him.
or so he thought.
and watching him walk towards her is just incredible.
he’s got such a look of disbelief on his face. i cant even handle it. and you can hear sansa’s breathing as he stands in front of her, little inhales of breath as she tries not to cry. it’s literally too much for me.
what i love about that is how sansa just opens her arms and runs for him. and jon takes maybe, two or three steps forward to meet her. he takes hold of her so fast it takes my breath away every single time i see it. sansa lets out this little breath, almost like a muffled sob, its so quiet but its heartbreaking. she’s throwing herself at him then, already knowing he’s opening his arms to her.
AND LOOK AT BRIENNE IN THE BACKGROUND. she literally looks away. you can see it even clearer in the gif below, but she looks down like she knows this is a private moment and she shouldnt be watching.
what i love about this is look at sansa’s face. she’s almost distraught, but you can see the relief washing over her as jon takes her into his arms. his embrace literally sweeps her off her feet. her breathing catches there at the end and you can see her tighten her grip on him, as if he’s anchoring her to the world. his arms are around her waist, he’s LITERALLY picked her up off the ground and is holding her close. he can feel how cold she is and can feel her shaking. i know its not portrayed this way in the show, but i always imagine her having thinned out quite a bit with ramsay and i imagine him thinking why is she so small? why can i lift her this way? why is she so cold?
at this point, jon knows nothing. he doesnt know what happened to her with ramsay. he doesnt know about king’s landing. he cant even begin to IMAGINE what she’s gone through. all he knows is he’s so happy she’s there. he’s so happy to be holding her in his arms.
were they ever close as children?
no.
but this scene alone solidifies their close knit relationship as adults.
i mean just look at him.
he’s closed his eyes as she sinks into him. he exhales softly at the end too. jon has gone through a lot too and you know he misses his family dearly, even sansa. they had a rocky past but thats just it... it’s the past. he must be thinking about her right here and vowing to himself he’s going to protect her from whatever will come. he’s not been there to protect her from whatever she’s already been through, but he’s here now and he already knows he’s never gonna let anyone hurt her again.
in the opening scene, he had nothing left to live for. his brother’s killed him, his family is gone, what else is there? but then... she shows up just hours after his rebirth and in the span of less than a minute, he’s got something new to live for. something new to protect.
yeah, so thats how everyone’s brother looks at them, right?
also, she’s wearing his furs. i didnt even know how much i needed that until i saw this scene for like the tenth time.
i love how as soon as she realized he was looking at her she turned and he gave her the smallest smile ever. like literally, it was barely a twitch of his lips. but it was for her. and it got her smiling as well, got her talking. good soup, she says before asking him about something from their childhood. its very light hearted conversation at this point and it makes you wonder all that they’ve talked about so far.
clearly some time has passed because sansa is clean and changed (and jon i know, she looks beautiful, id be staring too). but what have they talked about so far? has she told him about kings landing... about ramsay? has she opened up about their father’s execution and cried when she told him she still blames herself? does she talk about what ramsay did to her? to theon? we know jon has told her what happened to him already because he mentions it in a moment, but how much as she told him yet? a lot of what happened with ramsay is “private” or things that’s not at all easy to talk about, but i feel like with jon she would find herself talking and talking until all of a sudden she realizes she hasn’t stopped for hours. finally, someone is listening to her.
do you forgive me?
there’s nothing to forgive.
forgive me!
alright, i forgive you.
this little exchange is broken up with smiles and little laughs, but i can tell you that sansa needed it. and honestly, he probably did too. sansa spent all her time in captivity (because yes, thats what it was, both times) thinking about what she’d lost in her family. she’d been awful to jon back then and now he was all she had left. im sure there were many times where she told herself these bad things were happening to her because of how terrible she was to jon. and to arya too.
once they were all gone from her and she was alone in king’s landing, im sure she cried thinking of how she and arya spent their last bits of time together. arguing and fighting over what, a stupid boy prince that ended up abusing the hell out of her? yeah, not her best moments. but, she was a kid, none of us know shit as kids. thats one of the reasons i hate when people cite season 1-2 stuff as reasons they dislike sansa. she was a child, she was scared, and she was only doing what she was told or taught to do. and then she learned that the only way she was going to survive was by giving in. how can you blame her for that?
anyways, thats a whole other post for another day haha
i love this because it shows how easy it is for jon to laugh with sansa. his smile is so pure, so easy going here. its REAL. when was the last time either of them smiled, let alone laughed? but here, together, even just for a moment they can laugh at each other over how much of an asshole sansa was to him or how the night’s watch still make shitty ale.
and then we get one of my favorite sets of dialogue ever.
where will you go? sansa looks scared when she asks this, as if all along she’s been preparing herself for jon to leave her. that maybe he’ll take her somewhere and then he’s gonna go off on his own. part of her doesnt blame him, she wants to run away too.
where will we go? jon says looking almost surprised by her question. if i dont watch over you, father’s ghost will come back and murder me. sansa almost smiles then, as if she’s realizing it then, jon wasnt ever going to abandon her. she never had to worry that he would leave her side.
where will we go, she says back, still with that half sort of smile. by now, the wheels are turning in her mind. jon says they cant stay there and thats when sansa says it. there’s only one place we can go, home. it’s jon’s turn to look at her with disbelief, like he’s surprised to hear her say such a thing. this is where we begin to see how their relationship is going to work. jon is going to be the doubter, the one who says “well....” but sansa is the fighter, the pusher. she’s the one who says they’ll take back winterfell. when jon says he cant make the wildlings fight, sansa doesnt care. she tells him if he wont help her, she’ll do it on her own. i want you to help me, but if you won’t... ill do it myself.
and jon knows she’s telling the truth. she’s always been an awful liar. jon knows she’s telling the absolute truth when she says that. he knows she’ll find a way, one way or the other, to take back winterfell. but he cant (and wont) let her do that alone. of course he’s going to help her. she does that to him. he just said he was tired of fighting, that he’d lost... but as he’s staring into her eyes, he knows there’s no turning back. there’s no way he’d ever let her walk away from him to fight a battle or negotiate with anyone. he’s gonna stand by her side forever.
id also like to mention how i didnt even think about them as a ship the first time i watched this scene. i wont lie, i probably rewatched it twice right then and i made a lot of hmmmMMMMmmsss
like this was literally me the whole time
🤔 🤔 🤔 🤔 🤔 🤔 🤔 🤔 🤔 🤔 🤔
anyways LETS MOVE ON.
the next scene i want to talk about is when ramsay sends jon the letter.
there’s a lot to unpack here, honestly.
(id also like to point out that brienne makes the best faces ever, her face as the men are all eating kills me every single time i see this scene.)
so jon gets a letter & of course we all know who its from.
To the traitor and bastard Jon Snow,
You allowed thousands of wildlings past the Wall. You have betrayed your own kind and you have betrayed the North. Winterfell is mine, bastard, come and see.
Your brother Rickon is in my dungeon. His direwolf's skin is on my floor, come and see.
after the bit about rickon, jon stops reading and he looks at sansa. she’s horrified and you can see it on his face that he’s worried too. he couldnt even finish the word dungeon.
i feel for sansa in this moment though because she alone knows what ramsay is capable of. she knows what he did to theon and what he did to her. she knows firsthand what kind of violence he’s capable of and to think her baby brother is in his hands? no. it’s unthinkable. at this moment, im sure she’s thinking to herself its over, rickon is dead. but she cant and wont give up that easily.
jon continues to read the letter out loud & it pans to sansa’s face. it’s like regret washing over her. she’s the cause of this mess, of all this violence that will happen if jon doesnt give in. but this is what she asked for, isnt it? to fight for their home and their family? sansa isnt a soldier, she doesnt know what war is like. sure, she’s suffered, but not on a battlefield. she doesnt know or understand what happens in war out there on the front lines. this is her first glimpse. and again, she KNOWS ramsay, so she knows he isnt lying about what he’ll do to the wildlings. jon’s reading is strong but he fumbles and stops entirely when ramsay mentions sansa. she tells him to keep going but when he doesnt, she snatches the letter and reads it out loud herself
she’s close to tears, you can hear it in her voice. she’s probably thinking about everything ramsay did to her previously and how it would be so much worse if he ever got his hands on her again.
jon’s first words are lord of winterfell and warden of the north. sansa tells him that his father is dead & that ramsay was the one to kill him. it cuts back to her and thats when you can see her eyes are wet, she’s trying to hold it together here. she says that he has rickon and jon says they dont know that. but she knows he does. yes we do. thats when jon knows it too. he turns to tormund & they talk about the army numbers. jon looks back at sansa and you can see he’s torn. he wants to do this for her, he wants to do it for himself and for rickon. but he is a soldier and he knows there’s not enough men to fight ramsay’s army. not nearly enough.
he’s on the edge then, he knows it’ll never be enough. and what happens when he loses? what happens to sansa? he cant risk leaving her alone, without any form of protection. he doesnt want to disappoint her but he knows it can’t be done. all her pretty words about being the son of ned stark and northern loyalty cant change his mind.
except... well sansa.
a monster has taken our home and our brother. we have to go back to winterfell and save them both.
she’s right and he knows it. jon snow is too good a man to walk away from his family when they need him most. and even know he knows the odds are against them... even if the northern houses pledge to him and their cause, the odds are against them. but he looks into her eyes and he cant look away. she’s silently pleading with him to help her take back whats rightfully theirs. she’s asking him to help her save their little brother, maybe the only other family they have left.
and man he was so close. he had one foot out the door and now she’s trapped him with those beautiful blue eyes. he cant look away and its like, looking into her eyes makes him see the truth. they can win and they will. he’s not going to let anyone take her away from him. and he’s not going to let her abuser sit in their family home. he’s not going to let him kill rickon. he’s not going to let him have winterfell.
he’s going to take it back.
so he nods. thats all it takes, just a nod.
OKAY MOVING ON TO WHAT HAS TO BE ONE OF THE BEST JONSA MOMENTS only because its so light hearted and so fucking obvious. like jon here kills me
(gif credit @stark)
what i love is jon is the one to ask about the new dress. like seriously, its the FIRST thing he says. there’s no “hello” no “good morning” no “are you ready to leave?” nope. its just OH HEY NEW DRESS I SEE.
i mean, its what every brother asks a sister, right? its the first thing they notice, those highly attentative brothers! mine always noticed when i got new clothes. its normal, right?
anyways she tells him she’s made it herself and asks if he likes it.. mind you, jon hasnt taken his eyes off of her ONCE at this point. and he never does. id also like to point out that sansa literally POSES for him, like “no really tell me if you like it. are you looking? LOOK AT MY NEW DRESS JON.” and he stammers over his answer (which is adorable) his eyes arent on her face anymore but right at her chest (yes we see you jon) and her “wolf bits” which im sure he’s internally screaming at himself for saying.
she gives him the cloak then and its cute because you can tell she worked really hard to make it for him. its a copy of the one “their father” used to wear and i love that. she knows jon struggles with his identity and this is her way of reminding him who he is. and you can tell he’s touched by it. for the first time in this scene his mind changes from “wow my ~sister~ is hot” to “wow my wonderful sister that happens to be quite attractive just made me this thing like our father used to wear- right, our father. right.”
but on a serious note about this moment
really, i love it because it IS sansa reminding jon who he is and where he comes from. sansa is always the one reminding him he’s a stark despite what he thinks or what people say. its always her reaffirming it for him. this was the first time we get a glimpse of it and its really touching.
and when sansa walks away from him, jon smiles to himself and honestly its cute as fuck.
like look at this man. this is the face of a man who knows he’s falling in love. we all know this feeling he has right here- that giddy moment where the person you love has given you something or done something cute or just you know... exists. this is a man who is without a doubt in love. and he knows it. he knows what’s happening here, he knows what these feelings are.
now lets move on to some bad ass stuff.
you dont have to be here. yes i do.
this is a defining moment for me- and not just because of the jonsa stuff. for me, this is proof of sansa’s strength. everything that happened to her with ramsay is still fresh- im sure she still has injuries that havent fully healed, but here she is ready to face him. she’s going to look her abuser in the eye and make sure he knows he isnt going to win this fight.
and she knows what to expect. she knows he’ll say some nasty things, he’ll try to screw with her (and jon’s head) but she isnt going to let him get under her skin. he cant hurt her anymore, not only because jon wont let him but because SHE wont let him. she’s taken control back in her life and she’s going to rise above what he’s done to her.
but i also love the way jon glances over to her- he’s worried about her being there. he doesnt want this to send her backwards in her healing process or just totally break down. i think this is the moment jon also realizes just how strong sansa has become. i dont think she’s ever told him EVERYTHING ramsay ever did to her, but im sure he can imagine it and he knows it must be awful. im sure he’s seen her bruises in the beginning, has caught sight of her cuts and burns and whatever else he did to her before she escaped. jon wants only to protect her but seeing her now, with her determined face he knows she needs this. she needs to face him one last time. and how proud he must be of her!!!
this shot is amazing here, they look like such an amazing power couple. i fucking love it. it screams King and Queen in the North, doesnt it?
ah yes okay
the tent scene
the sexual tension in this scene is fucking FIRE and any other couple would have 100% had sex after it. no doubt. they’re both panting, literally out of breath just from arguing (and ~staring~ at each other). they both got so heated in this moment, as they seem to do when they disagree.
and yeah, this stuff is great, but its what comes after that i cant handle.
sansa says before leaving that she wont go back to ramsay alive. do you understand me? she’s literally telling him that if he loses, that if ramsay wins, she will kill herself. jon’s kind of struck by her words and he again tells her that he wont ever let ramsay touch her again. and then sansa says some real sad shit that just.. hurts. you cant protect me. no one can protect anyone.
those are the words of a girl who’s been let down all her life. she knows deep down that rickon is gone at this point. she’s forced herself to believe it now so it hurts less when it comes true. those words are spoken from her heart. over and over again, sansa tells jon that he cant protect her and its a defense mechanism for herself. she cant be let down again, she wont be let down again. so she constantly thinks the worse so when it happens to her, she’s not surprised, she’s not hurt. this is a girl who has been used, abused, and thrown away like trash over and over again. this is a girl who truly believes there’s no safety in the world. even from jon. at this point, she hasn’t come to realize what jon will do for her (even though hello, honey he’s going to war for you) and she doesnt realize the depths of his feelings.
and neither do we as the audience. not yet, at least. the next scene jon goes to see melisandre and he literally tells her that if he falls on the battlefield, he doesnt want her to bring him back. its because of sansa. he knows that a) he’s failed her and b) she wont remain alive long. he cant stand the thought of living in a world without her, nor can he stand the guilt of living if she were to take her own life.
i remember on my first watch through of season 6, i wasn’t shipping them quite yet. i had a lot of thoughts and feelings about their relationship, but man this was the moment where i went “yup, he’s in love.” there’s nothing more dramatic than the “i cant live without you” trope and i live for it. jon cant live without sansa and he cant live with himself if the battle is lost. he’d never forgive himself for losing sansa to ramsay or to herself. he’d rather be dead than fight the fucking night king or anything else. nothing else matters if she’s not there at his side.
this next moment isnt so much of a jonsa moment but i enjoyed it all the same. jon was so worried, he knew they couldnt & wouldnt last much longer. but then came sansa and the knights of the vale. he’s so SHOCKED and i think this is when he realized what she meant when she kept insisting he listen to her. that she wouldnt go back to ramsay alive.
it wasn’t because she didn’t trust jon but it was self preservation. she wasn’t going back to ramsay without a fight and she isnt stupid. she knows they dont have the men for this fight- jon told her that himself- and jon wouldnt listen to her. so fuck it, she did it herself.
we stan a badass queen.
next up on the list is the infamous scene of jon beating the living shit out of ramsay bolton.
all of jon’s rage comes out full force here.
he takes on an onslaught of arrows, blocking all of them with a spare shield he picked up. he gets closer and closer to ramsay with fire in his eyes. every ounce of hatred that he has for this monster comes out the moment he knocks him onto the ground.
jon punches him and punches him and punches him some more.
this scene is so incredibly satisfying because as an audience, we fucking hate ramsay (or love to hate him? he’s an incredibly awful character, isnt he?). he deserves everything he’s going to get from jon. watching him get beat to a bloody pulp was one of the best scenes of the whole show, imo.
i thought jon really was going to kill ramsay, too. his punches just never stopped. he had so much anger inside of him- for all he’d done to sansa, for taking winterfell, for killing rickon. i think jon WOULD have killed him too, had sansa not shown up.
she’s the only thing that could have stopped jon from beating ramsay to death. he almost didn’t look up either, but he did and then he stopped- he actually stopped midswing all because he couldn’t look away from her. and in that moment he knew it was not his kill to make. it was sansa’s. this was HER abuser, HER tormenter, she deserved to take his life if that’s what she wanted. if she told him to go ahead, he would have. but he knew she needed to face him on her own. and that i love. despite how caught up he was in the moment, he stopped full force as soon as he saw her.
now, moving on to the forehead kiss.
there’s a lot to unpack with this moment for me so i want to start with their conversation leading up to this moment. sansa joins him on the battlements and he tells her he’s had the lord’s chambers prepared for her, which is really touching. she tries to tell him they should be his but jon says no, they were only standing there because of her so they should be hers. that she was the lady of winterfell.
and then he says it im not a stark. you are to me.
that does a lot for me, honestly. all jon has ever wanted was to be a stark, to be anything but the bastard of winterfell. and all his life he’s been told how much he looks like ned & the stark’s, but he’s never told he is one. sansa is the one to tell him he is a stark, even if it’s just to her. and thats honestly all he needs right then. its the reaffirmation that she thinks he’s her family and part of them.
jon then comes closer to her and there’s a lot of ~longing stares~ happening, especially on his part. he mentions that they have a lot of enemies and they have to trust each other. sansa looks SO sorry in this scene, like she knows she should have told him the truth about LF and the KotV. but jon understands, he doesnt blame her.
first of all im a HUGE fan of this in general (anyone who reads my fanfics knows this, haha) jon reaches out and puts his hand against her face, with his fingers wrapped around to the back of her head. they’re staring back at one another, though jon’s gaze definitely is on her lips here
he draws her in to kiss her forehead and its really sweet, a really honestly touching moment. but wow. his kiss lasts a LONG time. jon closes his eyes as he presses his lips to her skin and the moment feels very intimate.
when jon does pull back from her, there’s still some more stares. thats something i love about all of jon & sansa’s scenes together... they convey so much emotion with such little words. you can see how jon feels just by the way he looks at sansa. i know its kind of a running joke about how different it is when he looks at daenerys than her, but thats because its TRUE. all of these scenes are supercharged with emotions and it all starts with the way jon looks. his features get soft, especially his mouth and his eyes, when he’s looking at sansa. gone are his harsh lines, his brooding stare, replaced with a soft, tender gaze that i just fucking live for.
i also want to talk about the meaning of forehead kisses.
“A kiss on the forehead is a gentle expression of admiration. Usually it is a kiss of friendship or a starter kiss for something for romantic later.”
“ Depending on how it is planted, it can also be used as a means of showing deep affection to a loved one. Most people use use it as a starter kiss when they meet someone new, to express that they like them.”
“ Brushing your lips gently against someone's forehead is a sign of trust and comfort. The forehead kiss is a nice way to show affection, whether in you're in a new relationship or celebrating your tenth anniversary.”
while they can reflect friendship or a close bond or even protectiveness, typically speaking a forehead kiss is quite intimate. there’s a reason its one of the most common engagement photo poses.
lets really just take a moment to enjoy our King and Queen. note that sansa is to his left, much how a queen would sit to the king (or vice versa).
& that wraps up season 6 moments. i think? i hope.
now lets talk about season 7.
the first moment is when sansa & jon are walking together, they arent quite arguing but rather having a bit of a heated discussion. jon is a little miffed about her calling him out in front of the lords (lol) and sansa reminds him that joffrey never let anyone question his authority either.
this really offends jon & thats a testament to his character. you think im like joffrey? he asks her, quite shocked. sansa’s features soften a moment after she looks away, knowing she said something she didn’t mean. you’re as far from joffrey as anyone ive ever met. of course he is. no one is like joffrey.
they continue walking & talking and then the arm grab happens.
i honestly love this gif, lol
anyways.
what i absolutely LOVE about this moment is jon looks down at her hand, clearly showing she doesnt let go of him. she grabs his arm to make him turn around and face her, to listen to her. jon has a bad habit of not listening to her and she’s fucking tired of it. she lost a lot of people she loved because of stupid mistakes they made, she cant lose jon too. she’s just trying to get him to understand that.
there they go again with those longing stares, eh?
we’re almost there guys, seriously if you’re still reading... thanks!
the next scene is when jon says he’s going to go to dragonstone.
i want to point out sansa’s face as she listens to jon speak
she’s genuinely worrying about him in these 2 panels.
her face changes as she listens to him talk- she’s thinking about what happened to their grandfather when he went south, she even says it to him. she’s thinking about how he cant go, he cant leave her there alone. its not about jon leaving the north, its about jon leaving her.
she says to him youre abandoning your people, you’re abandoning the north- and you can hear those unspoken words, the ones she cant say in front of everyone there. you’re abandoning me.
in jon she finds safety. as much as she’ll try to say no one can protect her, she knows jon does. being with jon has helped her to heal. he’s protected her from ramsay and reclaimed winterfell. he’s her armor, her shield. and he’s all she has left. how can he just leave her? how can he walk away into a dangerous situation and potentially never come back?
of course she plays it off as saying he’s abandoning the north, but read between the lines and you know what really has her upset.
then, jon gives her winterfell to rule over while he’s away.
i think he knows the truth of her heart (and i 1000% believe there’s an offscreen conversation about it) & knows she’s more upset about him leaving her than she is him leaving the north. he knows that he’s all she has left and same for him, she’s all he’s got. but thats why he’s doing this. he’s doing this to protect her and the home they’ve only just got back.
if he doesnt defeat the night king, there wont be any winterfell or life. he would do anything in his power to protect what he has now, even sailing into a potential life threatening trap. if its for sansa, it’s worth it.
next is one of my favorite jon moments.
jon and littlefinger are down in the crypts
they talk about ned and jon tells him he doesnt belong down there.
when jon walks away, littlefinger continues to talk, causing jon to pause. you can literally watch his face turn from annoyance to pure hatred. look at him here. he turns his head slightly, scowling, his eyes narrowing just slightly. just hearing him say sansa’s name sets him off, its what makes his lip curl with that scowl. but as soon as he says he loved her like he loved her mother, jon whirls around and lunges for him.
look at all that emotion in his face.
there’s so much anger and disgust. talk to my sister and i’ll kill you myself.
he cant stand the thought of lf making a move on her while he’s away. he cant stand the idea of this man looking at her wrong or saying one damn word to her. jon doesnt trust lf & he knows that sansa doesnt either... but that doesnt stop him from worrying. he’s not going to be around to protect her for a while so he has to make sure she’s safe somehow.
hence the ghost scene that got cut and im NEVER NOT GOING TO BE UPSET ABOUT THAT.
anyways
next we get this little moment when jon’s leaving:
he raises his hand a moment before this and it cuts to sansa watching him go, looking forlorn. jon looks sad too. you know they’re going to miss each other a lot while he’s away.
but what’s so telling is how jon looks back. he turns to go, but looks back at her and offers her a quick smile. as if to tell her everything was going to be okay. remember who he doesnt look back at when he’s rushing off to what could possibly kill him? yeah, you do.
last but not least... jon seeing theon again.
what you did for her is the only reason im not killing you.
here’s another moment of jon resorting to physical threats because of sansa. much like little finger, the moment theon mentions sansa’s name, jon lunges at him. he yanks him close and you can see the anger on his face, you can see it in his eyes. he’s not lying either. theon caused a lot of problems for the stark family and his only redeeming quality is what he did for sansa. im sure sansa told jon about escaping winterfell and how it was thanks to theon. that’s enough to keep him alive in jon’s eyes.
(gif found via google on gfycat)
im including this shot because right here you can tell Davos knows whats up. he knows this isnt a typical reaction of a protective brother. he knows jon pretty well at this point and i think he’s sort of known all along how he felt about sansa. this is the moment he’s positive, like zero doubts. i also think thats why he somewhat pushes the thing with dany later (i see you staring at her good heart” or whatever) because he knows jon can’t be in love with his half sister. he just cant be. there’s a perfectly good woman right in front of him (lol) and davos thinks pushing him towards her will make jon forget sansa. fat chance, my friend.
i love seeing jon react to men mentioning sansa. he gives tyrion quite the glare earlier on, when he mentions their marriage. its clear how jon feels about her at this point. he loves her. there’s no going back, there’s no changing it. jon loves sansa and there’s nothing he can do but keep going. from here on out, everything he does is going to be for her.
okay guys
well i think this is it!
thanks for reading and i hope you’ve enjoyed my ranting and raving about these two lovebirds. <3

Fic: Well those passions read
Title: Well those passions read
Author: lainelannister
Ship(s): Jaime Lannister/Sansa Stark, Jaime Lannister/Cersei Lannister, Jaime Lannister/Brienne of Tarth, implied Cersei Lannister/Sansa Stark
Rating: Explicit
Trigger Warning(s): None (that aren’t present in canon)
Brief Summary: “I always wanted to be there when they execute your sister. Looks like I won’t get the chance.” She swept from the courtyard after that declaration...but Ser Jaime Lannister still wants another word.
Notes: Show-verse, just some shameless smut (with a hearty side-order of angst). Title comes from “Ozymandias” by Percy Bysshe Shelley.
Lady Sansa sweeps from the courtyard in high dudgeon, spine straight and chin elevated. Brienne swivels her neck to blink at her lady’s retreating form with concern and confusion…
...but Jaime Lannister feels nothing but pure, seething, invigorating fury.
“Jaime,” Brienne calls after him, caution and apprehension coating her tone (just as they had the previous night, when he nearly spent himself inside her, too unaccustomed to her body to recognize the warning signs as he would with his sister-).
But he pays her no heed, eyes trained on the red banner of Sansa’s hair as she proceeds down the breezeway. The rigid alignment of her posture, the imperious hauteur- he feels suddenly reminded of Cersei presiding over her “map room”, practically drunk with the sweet nectar of her own power (among other things…).
The recollection propels his right arm forward, and he’s as astonished as she when his golden hand makes hard contact with her shoulder.
She turns on her heel to face him, cerulean eyes blazing, jaw tense and lips pursed. HIs hand still presses forcefully into the cap of her shoulder; he thinks he can hear the bone scrape against the metal, even through the thick fur trim of her cloak. She inhales sharply through her nose, and he wonders for a moment whether she’ll turn her guard on him-
-and then he recalls that her most senior, most trusted sworn shield is Brienne, and he allows his muscles to relax just a little.
“Was there something else, Ser Jaime?” She clips her consonants and narrows her eyes...but there’s a flush rising on her cheekbones, an exhilaration shimmering in her irises. He thinks for a moment of Littlefinger, wondering whether Baelish would lament his ultimate failure to turn his pupil’s exquisite face into a virgin scroll, wholly blank and placid and vacant.
He’s been silent for several moments now, and he hasn’t yet moved his golden hand from its perch. She remains in place without the slightest withdrawal, eyes singeing into his, and the air between them feels thinner and thinner with each passing instant-
“You wish to see her dead so badly?”
A peculiar half-smile curves the ends of her mouth as she takes a half-step closer. Her fingers- short, slim, quick, sure- brush the sides of his face; she’s never touched him, scarcely even looks at him, so he’s entirely unprepared to handle this bizarre behavior shift.
Her fingertips trace his cheekbones, thumbs curving over his jawline- they halt there for a moment, and her smile widens in a way that looks nearly deranged (so similar to the way Cersei smiled, when she’d instruct her hulking, reanimated “knight” to demolish an enemy by the most gruesome possible means…)-
Her voice rumbles low in her throat when she speaks at last. “You still look very much like her, you know-” her nails scrape over the portion of his face covered by his silver-and-gold beard- “-for all you’ve tried to change it.”
A part of him will always be glad to hear of his continued resemblance to his sweet sister...monster though she may be (but if she’s a monster, then what does that make me?). A pull to the coarse hairs on his cheeks, and her eyes shine more radiant than ever- blue as Brienne’s, but brimming with a wordless challenge, the like of which he’s only seen in eyes verdant as emeralds-
“Since you’re doomed to miss her...execution…” - the word stumbles from his tongue, and he swallows hard to remove the bit of bile rising in his throat- “...will you order mine in its place?”
Her hands haven’t budged from his face; he feels them clench as she hisses a response through tight lips, her color fanning higher and brighter- “I’ve already protected you from dragonfire, Ser Jaime. You aren’t meant to perish…” A pause, and she continues: “...not here, anyway.”
Something suggestive lingers in her tone, something he can’t read, can’t interpret- I’ve never been the clever one, after all. But he has little care for meaning as their bodies sweep into the empty stable, landing hard on a bale of straw.
He’d been surprised to discover his own ability to bed a woman who isn’t Cersei, when he lay with Brienne the night before. But then, that entire experience had felt so utterly different- all gentle kisses, warm embraces, uncertain gestures, everything achingly pure and clean.
Perhaps those differences made it all possible...but that wouldn’t explain the stand of his cock in his breeches now, as Sansa Stark grinds into him, wolf claws slashing at his neck and face and shoulders, sharp teeth sinking into his wind-chapped lips.
(‘It’s nothing...only a cock in a cunt, no more than that-’ the words his sister whispered to him the day after her wedding night, when the thought of Robert Baratheon’s body connecting with Cersei’s threatened to drive him mad…he’d heard her phantom voice in his head last night, too...and he’d felt a pang of guilt at his need to reduce that coupling so far...Brienne wants more, Brienne deserves more…)
But Lady Sansa seems perfectly willing to accept what little he can offer. All she demands of him is the pressure of his good-and-gold hands on her skin, the indentation of his teeth against her collarbone, the ability to tear her fingers through golden hair and to press her brow to a forehead directly above a pair of green eyes-
He’s barely aware of her hands lowering to unlace his breeches and shove up her skirts, and when he feels the slick of her cunt sliding over him, he gasps, biting down on her lip hard enough to make her cry out.
She lifts her hips and lowers them again, moving in a quick and pulsing rhythm- so familiar, so intoxicating...he clutches her to him, using the strength in his arms to pull himself even farther into her, feeling as though he’ll never be deep enough-
(He’d done this with Cersei, trying to bury himself inside her body, always striving to touch a part of her he’d never touched before…)
And the way her hips swerve in circular motions, her tight cunt contracting with each plunge, her nails sinking deeper and deeper, clearly desperate to draw blood-
(He thinks on what little he’s heard of her most recent marriage, of the vicious beast who brutalized her in every conceivable way...perhaps there’s a bit of vengeance to the gravity with which she responds to his thrusts, a desire to hurt, to claim, to dominate- you’re twenty years too late for that, sweet lady).
She shudders around him, and he feels himself swelling and tightening- he’d restrained his impulses just in time the night before...but with Cersei, he’d so rarely needed to bother...and the lines of this girl’s body, the fullness of her breasts and hips, the savagery with which she scratches and tugs and presses-
He allows himself to spill into her, justifying the choice with one thought- I may never have the chance again. Not with her...not with anyone.
Her small palms glide across the burrs of his short hair, and he nearly feels that he’s being mocked when she softly, sweetly, tenderly whispers her lips across his sweat-slicked brow.
But then she closes her mouth over his, her tongue combative, her teeth ready to pierce and tear and maim- she sees it, then...that there’s a bit of fight still left in me.
She parts from him, bracing her hands on his chest as she seeks her footing on the hay-strewn floor of the stable. Her tongue pushes into her cheek, but her bowed lips curve into a grin as she nods her head and trills:
“Safe travels, Ser.”

Basically a mildly funny, delusional therapy session!
Ok, I can't anymore I just need to let it out.
I've been in bed since this morning as I got food poisoning/stomach flu and I'm quite sure it's because of D&D and not the T/A.
So anyway let's rant...also my nimble fingers might make typos as I'm super dehydrated (feeling like Ghost after fighting with WWs and being abandoned by Jon the Dumbest).
So we start with the funeral.....and its sombre as shit. Well done David Nutter btw. And we move on to eating food 🤮.
Here we go: Dany! I love(d) her so much, but lately she's all over the place going from crazy to crazy in love. Now don't let my lack of detecting any chemistry between her and Resident Emo Boy confuse you BUT are we just all going to sweep the incestous undertones under the pelts? Here I am watching another make out scene???.....but ok I shall resurrect and go to Kings Landing where Cersei is hosting a party (Wall themed I see). After losing her baby (also wth how did she not see them?why didn't she dracarys Eurons ass?), her Sir Friendzone and her BFF once again Dany is made to seem BAD for mourning in a murderous way (ah I guess it's ok if Arya does it....or Snow?), Being held to higher standard .....JUST BC SHE HAS A VAGINA??? ( Dios Mio, Olenna please).
Next up on my list Arya who went back to her old cuddle buddy The Hound.....Kind of digging it. Gendry you dumbass (❤️) offer her to go on a round-trip of murder (Bonnie & Clyde style) not a marriage. Also mad love for making her an honest woman with those puppy eyes.
Brienne & Jaime ....and this is where we go cray-cray. Dear fellow citizen of Tumblr, if you still reading brace yourself....by the end of the next 2 episodes (if U ARE a BRAIME shipper) you be losing golden hands, legs, basically everything that you can rip off (like Miss Vanjie did when singing No More Pain). So after reading countless (!!!!) posts about how people interpreted that scene (remember dear reader I was ill today so it was a lot) I think we can settle on Prince Charming Now Turned Old Guy Because Of International Incestous Relations is a dumbass with a death wish. BUT is he a good dumbass or a bad one.Now here I'd like to point out two things I didn't see considered:
Jaime already killed a king to save the population of Kings Landing.
Jaime said to Brienne he would have done the deed at Riverrun....but he didn't cus of Brie-Brie .....I'm assuming we all saw the things he did for her that went against Cersei. He went back to rescue her instead of rushing to KL, he arranged for her to leave as soon as Queen Should Have Been Thanos' Wife even breathed in her general direction, gave her instructions and means to protect Sansa even though his sister wanted her dead, took Riverrun in piece BC Brie-Brie asked !!!!! Come on guys after all that you can't believe he would put Cersei before her (or maybe I'm fuckin wrong since D&D don't even seem to know correct details in their behind the scenes cuts). So yes I believe Jamie wants to kill Female Jaime because....if she defeats Dany she is coming for them in Winter fell (also Brienne and Sansa are in WF).
No I don't ship Jaimsa (because hello fuckin weirdos ), but Briennes oath means something to Jaime.
BUT I hate...hate...hate how Jaime left her (the 🍑). He broke her heart after she finally opened it ...and this (D2 will burn in hell, the crossroads demon is on it).
Also my two weirdos having the most relatable and clumsy copulation (yes I said it, someone had to) moment. Like don't we all just flirt like Jaime...so smooth: it's hot in here bitches breeches off. Oh look my poor hand doesn't work I guess I will need your help...🥺🥺🥺
Brienne will NOT die. I can't believe otherwise. There are some characters you don't touch (Juliet from Lost, Clarke from The 100, Castiel) and she is one of them. I love that Gwen was real about her arc of being a woman this season.
I do think I have an unhealthy obsession with Braime as this episode actually made me sick(no it wasn't the take away) and now I will forever remember this as the night Braime became canon and the day when I felt like The Prince of Dorne when his eyes were popping (oh Oberyn....Pedro Pascal I miss your holiness sexiness).
And what with all the articles/YouTubers predicting pregnancies? We watched (with my friend, I'm not hallucinating from dehydration) people predicting a pregnant Dany, Brienne, Arya (?)....basically everyone with boobs. Chill guys if you worried about repopulating Samwell is on it!
And Tyrion best wingman in Westeros. What even was he doing showing off to GingerBain (btw good for you, tap dat rebound ass babe....and have fun going back to the land of the lost....you could have taken Dumbass Emo with you 🤫). Btw guys how many versions of the Two Dudes Just Hanging And Discussing The Fate Of The Iron Throne While Demeaning Rulers (mostly women) As Incompetent do we have to sit through? Can I like request to see actual things like Two Eyed Robot telling the sisters about the heritage or Sansa telling Tyrion instead of cutting away? That Tyrion and Sansa scene was having me on the edge.
And we come to Sansa. My queen, my sunshine and..... apparently my New Little finger ( is it only me who hates this comparison that reduces her to a power hungry, brothel-less creepy dude even thought she's been doing everything for her family????). I lost it when I heard them bring this up in the Untucked Uncut vid. Like maybe give us some actual scenes with Sansa where we get to see her contemplating her goals and wishes and not just her looking pretty up into the sky (compulsory shot of season 8). I've been feeling so far away from Sansa since season 7 (worst season ever....but this one is a contender).
Also from now on I'm believing in Bronn. He foresaw the Bang and said he will collect later. There will be a later for the boys! Bronn gave up on the castle he's now gone to take over for the Witchy Woman who talked to frogs and Cersei. Big ups for the resident Reversed Three Eyed Raven!
I have read the interview where GRRM said he doesn't agree or like some character fates. I agree GRRM so can you give us a book ....I mean God's it takes me ages to get started on my coursework, bit at least I submit it 10 min before the deadline!
Also the total lack of any mention of Braime in both behind the scenes....??!!!...Might be good news.
#Bonus Fun topics you can bring up at Thanksgiving:
Podrick and the 3some - u go girl!!!
Tyrion and his lack of sex - we've all been there and that's why I need spoilers to satisfy my craving....just like you needed to know about the magic vagina!
Wtf is a Varys anymore? Also Yara?
Ser Dadvos without kids and Red God's is super depressing. Give the guy an orphan!
Greyworm -which shot of his face was more intimidating. Rate from 1 to Dracarys!
Global warming? Dragons near extinction?
*Disclaimer: I love all GOT characters (well, maybe except for I Have One Facial Expression And It's Emo Jon), but I just needed a good rant cus the ones aimed at my friends didn't do it for me 😄

I go off on GOT
[NOTE: I keep trying to add the Jon-Sansa hug GIFS but Tumblr REFUSES to let me save or post with them. It’s fucking annoying]
*Rubs face*
Auntie LK is annoyed and she is going to take it out on y’all. I’m gunna go ahead and go off on Sansa hate, Jonsa, Dark Sansa and all that shit so hang onto your assholes.
SO. The new promos. There’s been the idea for a long time, since S6 really, of the idea of Sansa plain murdering Jon or Jonsa becoming canon since, well, Jon and Sansa are now maternal cousins rather than agnate siblings (as in, siblings with the same father but different mother).
S6 had Sansa and Jon reunite for the first time since S1. A lot of heavy shit has happened, some of it they share (like losing their father and brother Robb, Winterfell getting a bad squid infection via Theon being a little bitch) but also stuff they didn’t share (an absolute battering and rape for Sansa, literally being stabbed to literal death for Jon). For Jon, who just came back from the motherfuckin’ dead 10 minutes ago and decided he had enough of this shit he’s out, this is pure shock.
For Sansa? This is pure RELIEF. Remember, Jon is the FIRST family member she has seen since the death of Ned. She hasn’t seen her mother (who is dead GOOD LAWL god I hate her), her eldest brother, her brat little sister, or her two littlest brothers since either leaving Winterfell or since Ned’s beheading. Not only that, he’s the Lord Commander of the Night’s Watch as far as she knows, so he’s in a position of power that is untouched by machinations of the South. Who is in power? Who cares. The Night’s Watch doesn’t deal with that shit and Cersei can’t follow her up here. And if Ramsey decides to give chase, it’s more than Jon to fight back.
Look at the hug. She almost cries, listen to the shuddery inhale of breath as she fights that back, she practically falls into him, and once they hug she looks for comfort and support. For Sansa, this is absolute relief. Her ordeal, for the moment, is over. She escaped Ramsey, the rape, the torture. She survived the snow, the river, the chase and being hunted. And now she is safe in the arms of her older brother.
For Jon, he is absolutely stunned to see her. For as much as they didn’t really get along, she’s still his sister, and he said goodbye to his family in Winterfell years ago. Only Benjen went to the Wall, and he disappeared, so Sansa is the first he’s seen in a long time. Hell, Jon almost ran to join Robb in his rebellion, and only just resisted and came back.
Family came for Jon after his resurrection.
After this comes a really important talk. Sansa and Jon’s relationship was never really touched on; Jon and Robb hugged and treated each other as peer-brothers (and it’s fucking CUTE I would CUT SOMEONE to see more bro Jon and Robb!!), Jon and Arya were cute-as-buttons older brother/pint-sized sister, and Jon cared so much about Bran that he bore Catlyn’s cunty comments in order to say goodbye. The only two not explored were Sansa and Rickon. It’s really important to note that Sansa took after Cat. And that meant absorbing her loathing of Jon, something that is talked about. Sansa gets to brass tacks about it:
Sansa : I spent a lot of time thinking about what an ass I was to you. I wish I could change everything. Jon: We were children. Sansa : I was awful, just admit it. Jon : ( chuckles ) You were occasionally awful. I'm sure I can't have been great fun. Always sulking in the corner while the rest of you played. Sansa : Can you forgive me? Jon : There's nothing to forgive. Sansa : Forgive me. Jon : All right. All right, I forgive you.
Sansa knows she was wrong, wants to make it right, and does not allow Jon to sweep it away. She is determined to make sure he knows she knows she was wrong. It can be interpreted that she wants to secure his forgiveness and is in fact ordering it out of him, but I don’t see it that way. She knows she fucked up, and she wants to make it right. The following conversation re-enforces the fact they’re family. Jon even says ‘ If I don't watch over you, Father's ghost will come back and murder me’ (I’d pay good money to see Ned come back and give Jon a bollocking actually). Sansa brings up Winterfell, enforces it’s THEIR home and it’s for their family. She wants the Boltons out, but Jon came back from the dead 10 minutes ago and has Had Enough Of This Shit And Is Very Tired. Sansa lets it go temporarily.
Throughout the ep, and into the next, the idea is enforced that Jon and Sansa are brother and sister, and that Jon is Ned's son. Sure, currently that's kinda funny considering he isn't by blood, but the sentiment is true; Jon is every inch Ned's boy, and Sansa clearly feels safe with him, she even says so to Brienne:
Sansa : Jon isn't Davos, the Red Woman or Stannis for that matter.Jon is Jon.He's my brother. He'll keep me safe. I trust him.
Here is a thing I think a lot of people are missing. Yes, Sansa trusts Jon. She says it herself. But why, as Brienne countered, did she not tell Jon about the Knights of the Vale? Why did she outright counter Jon publicly? Why not wait?
The thing is, Jon is Ned's son. AND NED STARK IS FUCKING SHIT AT KEEPING SECRETS. Ned Stark is honourable to a FAULT, it's what got him Mcfreakin' killed. Jon is the Starkiest Stark that ever Starked, and Sansa KNOWS that letting him in on critical plans is a bad fucking idea. She's already learned from Pety 'I would honestly tongue a cat's asshole for fun' Baelish that one never shows all one's cards. But sharing a card with someone as upright and see-through as Jon? Might as well cut your own throat and be done with it.
Why publicly confront him? I never believed for a second that Sansa was displeased at Jon's sudden elevation to King in the North. When it was announced, he was stunned, and to me it looked like he was looking to Sansa to see if a) it was real, and b) wtf Sansa what do I do.
He's been suddenly promoted before, but the Night's Watch was different, and perhaps he's having flashbacks as to how THAT went. Hell, everyone was pissed before Lyanna Mormont straightened her big girl knickers and said 'Listen up you lil shits Jon is good King Jon 303AC 4lyf'. This is all good for Sansa. She has Winterfell back, Ramsey Bolton is more than dead, Jon has the support of the Northern lords firmly when they told them to eat a dick not too long ago. Everything feels great. Plus, in the North, she doesn’t have to deal with backstabbing political shit.
And then she remembers Littlefinger is there.
Oh fuckbastards.
What to do? While it looks like Littlefinger is getting to her, it’s VERY important to note that, despite being King In Da Norf, Jon is still as humble as ever. Before that, when Winterfell was first reclaimed, Jon noted that Ned and Cat’s room was prepared for Sansa.
Jon : I’m having the lord’s chamber prepared for you. Sansa : Mother and Father’s room? You should take it. Jon : I’m not a Stark. Sansa : You are to me.
Damn right he is, Sansa. Jon mentions they need to trust each other more and kisses her forehead. I think this, after the conversation about Littlefinger, really planted it in Sansa’s mind she’s got to protect Jon from this bastard. Jon can fight the physical and commend men no problem, but psychological shit he has issues with. Hell, Sansa told him outright not to fall for Ramsey’s shit in BOTB and he did anyway. There’s a gulf in Sansa’s Southern-trained psychological way of things and Jon’s straightforward hit-it-until-it-stops Northern mind. Both have had their ways beaten into them, so they can’t unlearn, but also can’t see the other’s view.
Okay okay okay. where is Auntie LK going with this? From what I see, Sansa was publicly denouncing Jon’s plans BUT doing so to keep him safe. The plan to give the Last Hearth and Karhold to loyal Lords? That’s a Southern tactic AND good sense. HOWEVER ... in this instance, Jon was right. The important think to note that both holds HAVE a new Lord and Lady waiting for them. And they are children.
These babs!
If anyone knows about a child having to bear the supposed sins of their parents, it’s Jon. He felt the weight of Ned’s supposed infidelity, even if it was absolutely no fault of their own. These children are terrified, Alys visibly swallows and tries to breathe properly. Hell, it’s scary when Sansa was all for taking their homes and Jon mentioned executing people, they probably worried they were next. However, Jon simply asks for allegiance. And that was a wise call; the idea of redistributing at first got a high then got a mixed to low response, given the chatter in the room and Davos looking down.
Don't for a second think I'm shitting on Sansa. From her point of view, this absolutely makes sense; if people stab you in the back, GITFO bitch. But that Southern way of thinking just will not work as well in the more traditional North. In this instance, Jon was in the right, and it's understandable how he is frustrated with Sansa openly challenging him. I think Sansa was trying to shore up any potential future betrayal, and simply didn't make the right calculation. She looks at Littlefinger in this scene, who likes the argument.
In this instance, Jon is right. These are children, and he rules like a good King; with a firm but gentle hand. He makes these kids feel like important grown-ups, spares them, and gives them this sense of awe and majesty. If Daenerys rules with terror and awe with her dragons, and a kind heart for the underdog, Jon wants to rule with practical kindness. They thought they were going to lose their homes, or even their heads, given that Sansa mentioned taking away their Holds and Jon mentioned executing people. Instead, King Jon asked for their word, and they gave it.
Look at what happens after; Jon tells Sansa to stop openly undermining him, Sansa points out that she should give advice and compliments his leadership skills. She tries to get him to see she has advice worth listening to, and he is clearly frustrated and tries to walk away, but she will not let him. To the point of GRABBING him.
She will not let Jon walk away from this. He tries to walk, but she physically makes him stop, and emphasises what she is trying to get through to him:
Sansa : You have to be smarter than Father. You need to be smarter than Robb. I loved them, I miss them, but they made stupid mistakes, and they both lost their heads for it.
To me, this clearly says one thing; Jon, for the love of fucking Old Gods and New Improved Ones, I am trying to keep you safe. She can’t outright say ‘Littlefinger wants to park his thirsty asshole on the Iron Throne and wants me on his lap because I remind him of my mother and he is willing to slaughter you like a sheep to get it’, Jon can’t be trusted with that sort of info. She wants to publicly make it look like she’s plotting against Jon in Littlefinger’s eyes ... but at the same time, make sure that her public outbursts aren’t ACTUALLY damaging her relationship with him. He is too precious. She needs him, and his abilities, but also needs to string Littlefinger along to ensure he doesn’t do something without sharing it with her first. She was dead set against Jon going South. That’s where Cersei can get her mitts on him, that’s walking into the mouth of the dragon and hoping it doesn’t eat him. The only positive for this was suddenly getting Bran and Arya back; she outright hugs Bran, her little brother who was in a coma when she left Winterfell, and even Arya gets a hug despite the pair being the most antagonistic towards each other.
Now. Arya and Sansa had issues. They had issues before Littlefinger littlefingered all over the place. Arya, despite her Southern training, is pretty much a hardcore Northerner, and seeing Sansa’s betrayal letters would have set her off and Littlefinger was banking on that. But when you have a family that TALKS, that has a legit psychic on staff to divine the truth (and Arya literally heard Bran recite the truth), that plan falls up the asshole. Did Sansa truly plan to ever murder Arya, and vice-versa? Honestly, who hasn’t entertained thoughts of murdering their annoying sibling, especially if one thinks the other has fallen to the Dark Side. However, Sansa and in a way Arya’s arcs have been about family. Only family can be trusted. Family will be there when you need them. Family will keep their word and protect you. For Sansa, this is in Stark (heh) contrast to the Lannisters and Baratheons, whom she was so eager to join as true Lords and Ladies. The Lannisters are at each other’s throats when not fucking each other, and the Baratheons tore themselves apart with infighting and backstabbing (and vagina shadowmonsters). The Starks bicker, but they have each other.
If Sansa wanted Jon dead or out of the picture, she wouldn’t have gone to the trouble of making him a cloak that is very similar to Ned Starks’ own. The man she literally saw beheaded in front of her.
Sansa : I made it like the one Father used to wear. As near as I can remember.
Sansa near panics when Jon decides to ride for Dragonstone, she keeps glancing to her right, either in Littlefinger’s direction or directly at him. All the Lords don’t want Jon to go, even his most hardcore supporter Lady Mormont, and Sansa is dead against it. Even when Jon names her Wardeness of the North in his absence, she is still wearing a face of panic.
Me? In charge? Oh. Uh.
Does Sansa enjoy being in power? Who doesn’t. Do I anticipate trouble when Jon returns? If he returned himself, I think the transition would have been smooth. Jon will be impressed by how well Sansa is preparing the north, and she will pretty much still be Wardeness while he is King; think of Sansa as the Prime Minister that gets shit done while Jon is the figurehead and commands the armies and does power deals. The addition of Daenerys is a biiiiiiig complication, especially with Jon boatsexin’ her all the way.
Which brings us to the hug. While I do believe Sansa is relieved to see him back alive, the arrival of Dany is a complication and now she has someone she needs to suss out and see if this person is a threat to her or the newly reunited Starks.
Do I think a Starkbowl is coming? Hell to the fucking no. The ENTIRE POINT of Sansa’s arc is that FAMILY CAN BE TRUSTED, FAMILY IS THERE TO PROTECT YOU. The biggest point for her is that Daenerys is not family. She’s Jon’s girlfriend for the moment, sure, but not family. She’s Essosi-minded, she’s not a Northerner for fucking sure. At this point, the issue will be the outing of Jon’s heritage.
But what does that really mean? Sure, Ned isn’t his blood father. But Ned raised him, he was raised with all the Starks as a sibling. Cunty Cat made him feel lesser, but everyone still treated him like a brother. Even Sansa. Everyone is zero’ing in on the father aspect, but A STARK IS HIS MOTHER. HE STILL HAS STARK HERITAGE. As Lady Mormont rightfully pointed out, ‘He has Ned Stark’s blood in his veins’. And he does; Ned and Lyanna are full-blooded siblings, and share the same wolf blood.
I hoep to hope, and I think it will happen, that Sansa will silently recalculate what the news will mean when others react, but as far as she and most certainly Bran and Arya are concerned, Jon is still their big brother. The big brother that said goodbye before Winterfell despite the coma, the brother that came to take back Winterfell despite the Bolton’s vile threats, the brother that choke-slammed a snake for wanting to bang them because they reminded them of their mother, the brother that rode out to save his little Rickon despite the odds, the brother that gifted them Needle, the brother that was willing to overlook past nastiness.
Jon Snow, the King in the North, the blood of Ned, the White Wolf ... he is their brother, and always will be. The gold/silver of Targaryen yielded to the coal of Stark, and Jon is the fucking Starkiest Stark that ever Starked.
Sansa is not going to backstab her brother. Fuck outta here with that shit.
LK out.

(pt1)Everyone saw Jonaerys coming. Every normal viewer I know was happy about them, they're the heros™ ice and fire™ they can afford to go from 0 to 100 in 5 episodes. Season 8 is even less episodes and if Sansa x (insert male character) went THAT fast, people would truly feel the weight of it and we'd never hear the end of it. And what's the point of pairing her with a character she already knows if they don't give it proper build up, make it romantic and climatic instead of accelerated romance
(pt2)I really had my hopes up for Tyrion. After he was finally safe in Meeren I was waiting for him to drop her name at least once to show if he in anyway thinks of her or wonders of her whereabouts. Or Varys tease him about her. I was especially disappointed when Melissandre told them about Jon, he didn’t ask about Sansa if she heard of her, if she’s home. They completely disassociated him from her. They made it look like he only cared because he felt sorry for her at the time and merely that
Jon and Dany can afford to go from 0 to 100 in 5 episodes because they’re both very attractive, and their attractiveness has been established and extensively remarked by the narrative (by characters falling in love with them, by constant mentions of how beautiful they are, by specific filming choices like the camera gaze lingering on their naked bodies even in non-sexual contexts). Remove the fact that they’re biologically related (in a way that the general audience has trouble understanding without looking to a family tree), and it’s really the safest, most ordinary fantasy romance ever. It’s not surprising that they didn’t feel the need to pave the way for it. In their minds, they already did by making the audience fall in love with them individually, so it’s only natural that the characters would feel the same way towards each other. (which is something they should have taken into account when they wrote Jon/Sansa, too.)
Sansa is still recovering from a horrific story of rape and abuse (which I’m glad the show isn’t sweeping under the rug as if it never happened, for once), and Tyrion isn’t your typical conventionally attractive fantasy hero, so it’s much more complicated. In addition, the show has been denying Tyrion any sexual or romantic feelings of his own since Shae, relegating him to a wise sidekick role, like Varys but more sarcastic and burdened by family issues. Whether this changes with whatever they’re doing with his feelings for Dany, I can’t say.
But ironically this is also the reason I think the show could go for a Sansa/Tyrion endgame. It has been established that Tyrion respects Sansa’s boundaries and that she trusts him not to hurt her, which is something you can’t say for many other male characters on the show. They have known and been involved with each other’s storyline since season 1, and really the only other living male character who is is Sandor. More importantly, the audience trusts Tyrion, too. It wouldn’t be a big epic romance like j0nerys, and especially if Tyrion does indeed have feelings for Dany it would be them deciding they can be good for each other but without any burning passion on either side. But it would be something.
And what’s the point of pairing her with a character she already knows if they don’t give it proper build up, make it romantic and climatic instead of accelerated romance
And pairing her with a character she doesn’t know yet? That would require an even more rushed romance, and would really risk to come across as giving her a romantic endgame just for the sake of it. Sansa and Tyrion (or Sansa/Sandor for that matter) didn’t have a properly romantic build up on the show BUT they have history together nonetheless, which is a better basis to build something upon than nothing. And I get what you’re saying about the lack of build up and how they failed to maintain a connection between the two after they were separated, but the show tends to be really inconsistent in that department. Even with Jaime/Brienne, which is evidently geared towards romance, we had three seasons of almost nothing in between season 3 and 7, only rarely interrupted by sudden flares of very meaningful interaction like in 6x08 or 7x07. The show struggles to capture the internal voice of the characters and how they feel inside, and Tyrion had no particular reason to discuss Sansa with anyone in Meereen.
I don’t know. I don’t really have a dog in this fight, and I still think the most natural endgame for show!Sansa is not ending up with anyone but enjoying her family and her home and leave possible romantic developments to the imagination of the viewer, but I wouldn’t rule anything out by default, especially not Tyrion.

Game of Thrones Season 7 Episode 5 Recap Pt. 3
WARNINGS: SPOILERS; not a D@€n€r¥$ fan; Jonsa shipper.
————
8.- Back in Winterfell Lord Royce and Lord Glover are the North’s Mean Girls, talking shit about Jon to his back and regreating not naming Sansa QitN when they had the chance (OK as a Sansa fan I saw lot of my fellow fans were pissed that she got no credit whatsoever for retaking WF and that she should have been queen, I agreed that she deserved to get recognized but didn’t feel she wanted to be queen, but nevertheless it was good to see she has won her people’s respect after all she went through) Sansa thanks them but defends Jon’s claim in a very polite way. Arya watched all the scene, and she walks with Sansa to her chambers (Jon won that argument, good to know) that are her parents’s chambers while Sansa is like I warned Jon the North wouldn’t wait on him like Ghost (my shipper heart is pleased that they disscused this sort of things), Arya is clearly not happy about how Sansa managed things and Sansa being the observant girl she is immediately picks up on it and prompts Arya to speak her mind about what’s bothering her, because that’s what she did with Jon: she talked things through even if they didn’t agree on everything they were never afraid to speak clearly about it they loved and appreciated the other so much mere disagreements would never come between them. Arya is very different though and she is very harsh and unfair to Sansa,I understand her personality is different from Jon and Sansa, she is a more action type of person, she has taken revenge and now she is at home she can’t bear the thought of this people disrespecting her beloved big bro and her sister, the one she had a lot of friction with, just standing there and listening without screaming or hitting them, but Sansa is right she can’t do those things without repercussions, Arya is like there won’t be repercussions if you kill them (tell that to Robb) and Sansa (bless her soul) tries to explain the situation they are in, and how much Jon and the North need this people and that is much better working together than killing everyone (gosh now I really want Sansa to meet D) she gives Arya a reality check on how WF wasn’t just handed to them. Honestly Sansa Queen of everything 2kforever. Arya retorts in a very childlish way about how Sansa just wants to make sure people will accept her in case Jon dies, and Sansa is horrified that her sister would say such a thing (also I think she is horrified by the thought of Jon dying) and Arya keeps taunting her. No fuck I’m out of here, never wanted this Starkbowl stuff, didn’t wanted it with Jon don’t want it with Arya, why do the writers make her Sound like every Sansa hater ever???? Sansa does not deserve this (Dickon come back pls and sweep my baby off her feet in those amazing arms of yours) I understand Arya hasn’t still procesed Sansa’s changes and she loves Jon and hates to see people trash talking him but no sorry, Ned already had told her she and her sister needed each other even if they were so different, and Arya said she didn’t hated Sansa Back then, I just hope this nonsense is over quickly because I Love the Stark Sisters too much.
9.- So the magnificent plan of Tyrion starts with convincing Jaime to tell Cersei to grant the Suicide Squad an audience so they can show her the WW, and they will need to go to KL, Davos smuggles them and then goes off to find my boy Gendry.
My boy is Back on the blacksmith business, and Davos makes a joke about rowing (he is the daddiest dad of the 7 realms) and he is trying to explain their super amazing mission but Gendry is like dude idc I just wanna go away from this shit hole and fight some Lannisters on the way with my magical Baratheon Hammer like the one my daddy had.
#AtrueBaratheon.
Tyrion apparently convinced/payed to Bronn so he would take Jaime to creepy dragon basement, Jaime is clearly conflicted at seeing Tyrion, but still he listens.
Back on the boat some gold capes found their boat, Davos is a Master of manipulation and manages to fool them ‘til Tyrion shows up, fear not cuz Gendry puts that Hammer to use (he is epic guys) and Davos is practically signing those adoption papers.
10.- Jaime goes to Cersei’s chambers, she was talking with Qyburn and sasses the heck out of Jaime when he asks what was Qyburn doing there, anyway Jaime tells Cersei about his talk with Tyrion and the WW, Cersei is very dismissive (must be real easy when she hasn’t seen the Dragons or the WWs) but she thinks she can use this in her favor, also she is preggo (oh god why do I feel this is emotional manipulation or she is reaching menopausia?) they kiss and god Jaime stop.
11.- Our boat buddies are back on DS (traveling doesn’t make any sense what is time? What is distance? Who knows? No really jokes aside I understand they have to advance this plot fast as possible cuz they have only 2 episodes left this season) and Davos warns Gendry not to mention his dad or real name to King Jon, and that’s the first thing Gendry does!!! LMAO, this friendship is epic already (RobertxNed2.0) and Jon smiles for the first time in the south (dude he was almost dead all his time in DS but his bastard buddy shows up and he immediately jokes and laughs) this is my favorite bromance, and Davos is worried for this unruly sons of his (so he is Jon Arryn 2.0 right???)
So the very next day? Week? Who knows? They depart, Jorah gets a sad goodbye with D, and Jon a very awkward one, for real D is tryin to flirt and Jon says 'good fortune in the wars to come’?? Wasn’t it the same thing “The Sword of Morning” told Ned before they fought to death??? I mean one can clearly see Jon can’t wait to get the fuck out of Dragonstone, D makes goggly eyes at the boat (Jon) while Jorah turns back makes puppy eyes at D, and Jon is pushing harder to go as soon as possible.
11.- Back on the Citadel, Gilly is reading (I miss Shireen so much, she would have been so proud) some stuff of a Maester obssessed with registers, and discovers a prince Ragger (Imma call him that forever, thanx Gilly) got an annulment and married someone else in Dorne. We all, know this is about fuckboi Ragger Tupperwere and his rightful wife Elia Martell princes of DORNE, so you tell me this fucker not only humilliated her publicy on Harrenhall’s tourney but also re-married in her homeland?? And made her children bastards???? Seriously most of you don’t know how hard it is as a PoC and specially a WoC and watch this stupid bullshit where a woman of color’s suffering and humilliation just serves to further a white character’s (Jon Snow) storyline, while Raggers gets this beautiful memory lane stories about him singing the Poor, and people justifying his selfish bullshit with OMG he didn’t Love Elia he did it for true wuv!!! Miss me that bullshit who said Elia loved the bitch??? Yet still beared with dignity all the awful stuff he did, not only that but her and her children died (awful, awful deaths, not in a battlefield glorified as a song ones) scorned and set aside by Rhaegar while he was protecting new wifey and his new white super speshul babe.
I am beyond angry at this.
Anyway, Sam doesn’t care (nobody does really, they don’t even say her FUCKING name) cuz the maesters just won’t listen, so he steals some books and fucks out of the Citadel with his family.
12.- Yeah so in WF Arya is the worst spy ever following LF around, and he is purposefully as shady as he can be, Maester Wolkan gives him a copy of a letter and LF very loudly thanks him in Sansa’s name, he get’s the letter inside his chambers and goes away, Arya enters his chamber and finds the letter you know that one Sansa was manipulated into writing to protect her dad and the rest of her family, and Arya buys it. Honestly I am too empty now to care, Arya got played by a obvious stupid scheme but I can’t find the enrgy to care about all this drama.
13.- On Eastwatch, Jon and co. Talk with Tormund, who talks about the Dragon Queen and the one who fucks her brother (tha made me laugh a lot cuz Jon’s uncomfortable expression and Gendry’s smile) and he is frustrated cuz why didn’t they brought Brienne??? Jon’s smile is amazing and I am glad he is among people he is comfortable with. The moronic plan is laid, and Tormund is like well we are not the only ones who wants to go beyond the wall Tormund takes them to the cell, the Bannerless Brotherhood is there, and everyone hates each other suddenly, but the Hound hates everyone and makes them shut up, Jon frees them and they go to their stupid ass mission.
———– *sigh* Yeah so this is all, next week (May the gods help me) I’ll try to stop being so repulsed so I can Watch the next episode.

In a crowd of thousands (JxB)
AN: I don’t think I’ve ever written anything for those two. Not that I’ve finished anyway. But after reading through so many fics on AO3, I just had to. That and the Anastasia soundtrack reminded me of how I’d bang Dimitry like a screen door in a hurricane. WHOOPS?!
...
Brienne of Tarth had no problems going unnoticed - in fact, she really did prefer it. Anyone who noticed her would only point and laugh - there was always laughter when the audience finally noticed that she was actually a woman.
She was aware of her unfortunate looks, and she’d learned to accept them. She knew her height made it even more impossible for her to stay unnoticed, was aware that her figure was not particularly womanly. But she was also aware that her lips, although chapped, were full and kissable, and that her clear blue eyes reminded of the ocean hitting the coast of her homeland.
Her self esteem had been difficult to gain, but she’d grown with every perfectly spiked ball, with every compliment from her coach, and with every perfect grade keeping her on her scholarship.
Still, those things also made her stand out, and led to unfortunate nights such as this one, attending a gala for King’s Landing’s best college athletes with the other girls. Their coach, the incomparable Catelyn Stark, had made them, reminding them to behave because “opportunities like these come along so rarely for women’s sports”.
Sansa, the coach’s daughter and their libero, had nodded before pleading with Brienne to please let her and Margaery (their flirtatious setter) do something about her Look. Yes, the capital L had been audible even then.
And that was how Brienne had come to wear a gleaming gold dress that, while accentuating her long muscled legs, made her afraid to bend over for fear of being even more noticeable than she already was.
Wearing GOLD, at a party in King’s Landing? When one wasn’t associated with the Lannisters, it was sure to get one noticed. At least, according to Margaery, who kept up with the Kettleblacks and the Lannisters and everyone in between. Brienne? Not so much. Not at all.
“It must be!” an excited voice behind her. “Who else is that tall?”
Oh no. Oh no. She did not expect the mocking to begin just minutes after she walked into the expensively decorated ballroom.
“Brienne of Tarth,” the smirk was almost audible. “I would recognize you anywhere.”
First, she took a deep breath. Sure, the voice sounded vaguely familiar, but since she could not place it, it could just as easily be a Red Ron (high school nightmare) instead of a Renly (high school crush). She had to be prepared for the mocking, even though she actually felt kind of pretty in this getup.
The man was beautiful - there was no other word for him. He wore his dark grey suit well, his hair longer than was fashion, but it suited him somehow. His facial hair somewhere between just scruff and a beard, mouth pulled into a smirk that reminded her of times long forgotten, when Mother and Galladon... No.
“Even in a crowd of thousands, I’d know those eyes,” the man did not seem to see her confusion.
He lifted her bodily - he was just a few inches shorter than she was in her heels - and twirled her around the crowded room, roaring with laughter all the while.
“That used to be much easier,” he put her down, barely breaking a sweat. “I guess you were right about me being old.”
Even now there was something in her that wanted to laugh along, to remember a joke long gone from memory. Another part of her was just concerned about how many people had been able to look under her skirt as he twirled her like a child, and a third part of her was still stuck on how solid he had felt, so close to her.
“You,” she stammered, trying desperately to connect the dots with her brain still so frazzled. “Old man?”
Another laugh - how was it that he was so happy to see her and she still had no inkling of who this man was? She had met him before, she could feel that. But how, when and where? There was just nothing.
“Don’t tell me you’ve forgotten all about me,” he pressed a hand against his chest, feigning pain. “All those summers in your palace by the sea? Surely you are still as smart as ever, my lady knight.”
Oh! It all hit her in a flash, the teenage boy chasing her with a plastic sword, her giggles as she tried to keep up with a young man eight years her senior.
“Kingslayer,” she happily exclaimed, the old nickname coming to her lips too easily after years without it.
He had fought the mad King and freed her so they could fight together, so they could save the innocent. He was the only one who indulged her love of sword fights and heroic tales - he didn’t even mind being saddled with this kid when he could be out with people his own age.
“Brienne the Beauty,” he bowed.
It still looked so regal, as if his father’s tales of them being descended from royalty had actual merit to it. Her responding curtsey was much less fluid - she hadn’t done this in a decade, ever since The Accident, when his father had forbidden him from returning. God forbid something would happen to his precious favorite son.
“Jaime,” she leapt at him, and he caught her as always.
“I always wondered where you’d end up,” he spoke, voice low and tickling her ear. “I hoped I’d find you here. You were always better than anyone else on the Island, in this city.”
Wrapped around him, she was fully aware that it was probably unseemly that she had pressed herself against Jaime Lannister. But it had been ten years at least since she’d last seen him, half a world away on Tarth.
“I have missed you,” she said the words and realized just how very true they were.
“No other knights willing to fight for you?” Jaime was still teasing her, much as he used to once upon a time.
There were no more knights left on the island after he left, no true knights in the Stormlands where she’d gone to high school, and no knights in King’s Landing until now. Not like her childhood friend and idol.
“No one like you,” the admission came so easily.
“There are no men like me,” he boasted, the words familiar as an old song she used to know. “Only me.”
She huffed like she used to, rolling her eyes at his words while she knew they were truth. He had his flaws, even as a child she’d known that, but he’d never looked down on her even though he could have done so very easily. He’d been so very dear to her then, and his response to seeing her again after all this time told her that he’d held her in his heart all this time as well.
“By the Gods, this dress,” Jaime took her in, eyes dark. “Do you have any idea what you’re doing to the poor athletes tonight?”
Sure, it was a jape, but certainly not at her expense.
“What you’re doing to me?” he continued. “I’m just an old man, Brienne. Have mercy on me.”
The look on his face was new - she’d seen it directed at Margaery from a whole host of boys, seen it sent in Sansa’s direction until Brienne had scared them off, but she had never seen someone look at her like this. And now someone was, and it was Jaime. Vain, proud, stubborn, insecure Jaime, who was never sure if he had friends because of his family and wealth, or because of the hero lurking underneath.
“I’m sure you can handle it,” she brushed it off, smiling all the while.
His hand has made its way around her waist again, and for a brief moment she remembered the summer he’d broken his wrist so badly the doctors had worried about him ever using it normally again. But the vision from the past was brief - they were adults now. Jaime seemed ever so aware that she was all grown up now, old enough to purchase her own mead or wine.
Not that alcohol appeared to be on his mind when he looked at her.
“You made a friend,” Sansa disturbed the electric current running between Jaime’s eyes and whatever part of Brienne’s body they could reach. “I was worried you’d snuck out and left us!”
Jaime’s response to the intrusion was to pull her even closer to his side, reluctant to share her with anyone after all the time spent apart.
“Jaime’s an old friend,” she almost winced at how similar she sounded to some vapid socialite. “He used to visit me on Tarth every summer.”
Sansa knew the stories, had idealized and romanticized them all until it led to some magical, enchanting reunion that in turn led to a happily ever after. It was why her friend’s eyes were wide and almost teary.
“Sir Jaime,” Sansa smiled tearfully. “I’m so glad you found each other again, after all this time.”
There was swooning in Sansa’s future, and Brienne was happy to let her friend have those fantasies. In her worst moments, after the bet, she’d dreamed that Jaime would return to set everyone straight and to sweep her off her feet. She couldn’t blame Sansa for doing the same.
“Have you been telling your friends about me, Brienne?” Jaime practically purred, and she shivered.
He appeared pleased at the effect he had on her, and that lit the flame of competitiveness that had gotten her in so much trouble as a child. She was not going to let him pretend he was not all that affected by her in return.
“Sansa, please excuse us,” Brienne smiled to make the message seem kinder. “It seems I have to curtail the old man’s little fantasies.”
Her words would not offend Jaime - but he was ready to rise to the bait, muttering under his breath about how there was nothing little about any part of his fantasies. It made her flush all over, still getting used to this new awareness of him that seemed to exist inside her.
“It was nice meeting you,” Sansa, ever polite, chirped before she ran off in Margaery’s direction for a good gossip session.
She’d be hearing about this for the next few years, she was sure of that. She was also sure that she wouldn’t mind it at all.
“I dreamed of you,” Jaime pulled her close again, whispering the inappropriate words in her ear. “And I will dream of you in this dress.”
Oh, she had to learn to grow immune to his words, to his voice, or she’d be blushing for the rest of her life. If only she would be around him often enough to be flushed red for the rest of her days.
“Dance with me?” he pleaded, unwilling to let her go.
“Don’t step on my toes,” she teased, remembering footwork exercises gone awry.
Not even Jaime Lannister was graceful all of the time - but he was ever so graceful now.
“I wouldn’t dare, my lady,” he led her onto the dance floor and held on tight as the one-two-three of the waltz began.
They would not get lost in the crowd, they stood out too much. And as a thousand people mixed and mingled, theirs was a perfect beginning.
