I've been having a delightful time stumbling over my emojis being used in random servers, so here's more

#It's seriously so funny to see an emote of mine in random conversation from a private server #emojis #art #rain world #Some people went even farther and apparently started using other art of mine as emotes #Which is fine but absolutely buck wild to stumble over #Since some of the art they chose is literally wip versions of my current pfp #??? Sure I guess 😂#rw survivor #rw monk #rw saint #spearmaster #Most of these were requests. The rest were just the emojis I use the most turned into scugs lol #You get to decide which was which lmfaoooo #Also here's some lore: a while back I made 'hunterwheeze'#and the bit was everyone liked it so much they wanted it in the server #So I said bet and threw a bunch of emotes to the staff to hear their thoughts #And way more than I thought got added!#Except for hunterwheeze 🤣🤣🤣#Instead they chose a super edited screenshot of some animation frame I made a few months ago I added last minute for giggles #Which I was DELIGHTED by. It's perfect #Also the only instance of the emote since it's technically not on this blog 😉 not transparent anyway #Oh and here's my favorite 'wild' emotes I've found:#1) that person that dmed me to reveal there was an animated emote for every variation of rivulets face I made that one time #(I was not allowed to join the server)#2) discovering an emote has been in use for months in a server swathed in drama and in the throes of being orchestized from the community #3) that one nightcat-saint emote appearing on a random server announcement (it's so niche I was astounded anyone used it lmfao)#Most sightings are totally benign but these were just hilarious

#daniel ricciardo #dr3 #went on a hike the sunday after the official announcement and listened to this song on repeat for probably 3 of the 8 miles #POV: me in the middle of the woods telling myself to get it together #while crying about a 35 year old millionaire before I end up passing someone on the trail and they call the police on me #so song is about how female stars are treated overtime and when they first arrive they're praised for being authentic and refreshin #but once the shine wears off and they're a little older and reveal imperfections or they struggle they become a target for ridicule #and then they're discarded for the next new thing in town and the cycle keeps repeating itself forever #which to me so closely mirrors daniel's trajectory in F1 in the eyes of the media #but also when you take the lyrics at face value they are just so daniel...#the f1 ecosystem and more specifically the redbull “family” are fake as hell #and yet daniel is one of their most genuine products who actually can't be easily reproduced (but by god they'll try)#he showed a great deal of promise despite coming from a place that really never should've produced a successful f1 driver #because the cards were stacked against him and nobody really thought he would make it #but he did and he gave us 13 brilliant years (and he has SO much more to give and do and succeed at and he will)#but the wheel of time keeps spinning and the cycle continues for the next shiny new toy that they can nurture and then destroy #anyway i'm not totally in love with these gifs but I need to be done w/them and I had to exorcise this demon that was making me sad

they have now revealed another character for ride kamens, hayate, and it looks like he's a kr jin homage? glad they confirmed that it's not only titular riders getting representation, but still, a pretty off the cuff surprise for me

yeah, Jin is a welcome pull, but a pretty weird one! I saw the post when it dropped (don't ask why I was looking at twitter at 3 AM) and the replies were. very confused. :') nice to see some Jin rep though! and if this opens the door to characters based on more deepcut riders, all the better!

of course, if they really want to stay true to the spirit of Jin, we know what he'll be like

#Handsome Solas #“Well better go greet the commoners."#Lavellan holding the door ready to slam it into his face like Spongebob #the entire muffled argument with Varric was just them arguing back and forth about what work he had done #tldr: he looks great but he's too handsome #he lost a whole lot of character in his face with this game imo #part of his charm was that he was just this guy who was super passionate about the fade and history and spirits #that was what made him compelling/attractive even before the big reveal at the end - until trespasser he was just Solas to our character #he wasn't super handsome - don't get me wrong he's attractive but datv took some liberties to make him *more* attractive #and i feel like they made him wayyy too conventionally handsome in this game and he lost out because of it #*he* was attractive by himself - he didn't need the face lift #he had a really unique face and simple outfits to sell this 'apostate hobo' persona / before switching to the cool trespasser armour #but it was still *his* face and its his face in a game in which your own character kind of loses their own as head of the inquisition #and that mirrors Solas and to me making him so hot does his character a disservice?
