My 10 year old nephew just failed his first Spanish class, but unfortunately the school that he's in is going to pass him on to Spanish 2. Can you recommend any resources for children to learn Spanish? I'd like to help him over the summer. Thanks.

I feel like Duolingo or something like www.studyspanish.com/grammar help the most for total beginners with some guidance. Duolingo in particular helps most when you already have some knowledge of the language/grammar/vocab

There are also podcasts like News in Slow Spanish which can help as far as grammar examples for more beginner-intermediates

(Can I also just say I'm surprised he got into Spanish 2 if he failed? I mean I guess maybe he knows the words but still Spanish is just going to get more difficult if you don't have the basics - idk I know I'm preaching to the choir that just seems like setting someone up for failure)

OMG i love this request, I LOVE THEM SO MUCH TOO. All my other Azriel fics involve some kind of angst, but these two just exist in the fluff world of my brain. Nothing bad happens in their universe (well nothing too angsty hehe)

But yes pregnancy discovery would be so sweet!! And just birth and parenting in general would be fun to explore with these two. I also haven't written those things yet, so I'll add it to the list for sure.

How cute would it be though if they had kids and they had little boys who all had lovely pink wings hahaha

Also I've just recently read @writingcroissant fic that is this kind of premise so you should definitely give it a read if you're wanting that kind of fix asap as it's brilliant.

Trying to figure out how to get better at eating lunch when I'm autistic adhd and food is a minefield on a good day. Here are my limitations

1. Can't snack, never been good at it and I never eat enough

2. Bread is very hit or miss, so sandwiches are risky

3. Lactose intolerant

4. Don't like cold foods

5. Don't like crunchy foods

6. Pasta is very hit or miss, sometimes too heavy and I don't like it cold so pasta salad isn't always good

7. Don't like salad, it's just a plate of veg and never filling enough

8. Needs to be something fairly quick to prepare because the point at which im thinking about lunch i'm likely already very hungry

9. Can't be too heavy of a meal, but can't be too light either

10. Can't eat things that are too dry, gotta have some sauce or something on there

I've recently found I can eat wraps easier than sandwiches, so i've been doing wraps which is nice but there's a lot of vegetable chopping and prep work which I don't always have the time or energy for, but just ham or something in a wrap won't cut it, gotta have some more filling in there or it's not enough food. I rely a lot on breakfast foods for my lunches tbh, scrambled eggs and such, but I need more options.

If there's one thing I've seen over and over again in the Dracula Daily + Re: Dracula fandom, it's the desire for an animated adaptation. Not of media-inspired-by, but of Dracula itself. And so, I've made:

...something that is decidedly not animated.

Yet.

I'm hoping to get Dracula Reanimated (tentative name) in exactly 1 year from now, by the end of DracDaily's 2025 run, perhaps even the beginning of it if I'm really good. But in all honesty, it could take till 2026 given the teeny complication that 1) I've no animation skills whatsoever 2) fulltime job.

So, I hope you'll stay around for the next 2 years at least to see this completed.

In the meanwhile, if you'd like to support a project by actual professionals, try @theholmwoodfoundation .
