Alright, I know things aren't looking good. Horrible even, but you can't break down yet Pepper. I know it's not fun. Whumpee who, through some stroke of bad luck, got their bank info stolen. It was an awful experience sure, but not that hard to deal with. They called the bank, got the card frozen, lost maybe a hundred dollars at absolute maximum.

Still, that came with that sense of uncertainty. What if it happened again? What if it was worse this time? What if no one listened?

It started small, changing passwords more often than they did before. But that didn’t feel certain enough. Whumpee starts paying for everything in cash and deletes any and all forms of social media.

Their friends start to notice a change in behaviour, but don’t think about it too much.

But then the worst happens. Some other piece of information gets stolen.

This time, the fix isn’t so easy, and Whumpee stops trusting even those around them. What if someone stole their friend’s identity and replaced them?

Anything could be malicious, and paranoia is a dangerous spiral.

The blog/story will be going on a (for now) temporary hiatus. I do hope to return to it at a later date but adjusting to a child is a whole process that’ll need my full attention so until some kind of schedule comes of it Mini Q gets all my attention (she deserves it anyway tbh)
