Yayy hi sivis !

i picked up anu just for something to chill as without worrying about being super competitive or attracting combat to myself (like my other two mains in valky and geor tend to do) but anu's surprisingly capable? i wouldnt seriously choose it in a real fight, especially not with things in its tier, and there are lots of things that does its job better than it, but considering i wasnt really expecting anything from it i am pleasantly surprised. i spent a lot of yesterday terrorizing oasis with it and even took down a geor which surprised me. it was a bit of an impulse purchase on my end but id say it was 2k mush well spent and im having a lot of fun with it

ANI

“The Ani are an exotic species that do not seem to originate from this world. Something about them renders them completely incapable of causing direct harm, but in exchange, they specialize in the well being of others and can even directly heal those they choose to assist.„~ In-game Description

The Ani is a tier 1 herbivore that takes 10 minutes to grow. It looks somewhat like a spirit from Ori, and is one of the few healers of the game. Ani’s are naturally gentle and will heal anyone in need. The Ani has a couple notable traits, including:

Heal Touch, which, when hitting another creature, heals status effects such as bleed, poison, and sickness. This amount of status healed is increased if the target is outside of battle.

Keen Observer, which allows you to see the health bars of all nearby creatures. This is especially useful for it’s place as a healer; you can know who to heal when necessary.

Negative Attack, which, while not exactly a ability, is a trait where the user’s attack values are negative, where you heal targets rather then hurt them. Ani is a amazing healer and has some of the highest healing in the game, and if you grab on to a friend correctly can even be used as a pocket healer!

Restoration Beam, a ‘breath’ exclusive to Ani that heals targets, including yourself if directed towards you. The healing from the beam is so high that, even if you overuse the beam on yourself the healing is high enough that you won’t even die from it!

Ani makes for a great healer, as it’s extremely fast. Many players won’t attack Anis (and all healers, in fact) because they can’t fight. However, inexperienced players may attack the Ani anyway, which is unfortunate because of a lack of a way to fight back. Ani’s health pool is also ridiculously low— most creatures can kill it in one hit.

ANUTILL

“Despite their regal appearance, Anutill are natural tricksters. Collecting hoards of shiny objects and thriving off of smaller creatures, their speed puts them one step ahead.„~ In-game Description

The Anutill is a tier 4 all-terrain carnivore, taking 32 minutes to grow. It looks somewhat like a mix between a dragonfly and a lizard. Anutill are ‘grubby thieves’ and like to horde shiny objects. The Anutill is a Developer Creature, making it rarer than most, and has a few abilities:

2 bleed, which, while somewhat low, is enough to hinder most creatures the Anutill may try to attack. It stops regeneration, making any fleeing targets at risk of slowly bleeding out unless they stop moving— leaving the Anutill to strike.

2 toxin, which decreases stamina regeneration from 1-10 poison, through 10-20 actively depletes stamina, and after 20 deals 3% damage per tick. This in combination with bleed makes fighting Anutill quite nasty, as not many creatures have both toxin and bleed.

15% bleed defense, although low compared to some creatures, is high enough to survive some significant bleeding from deadly bleeders such as Syroudon and Magnarothus. It nullifies a portion of bleed recieved by offensive attacks.

Dazzling Flash, a ability used by pressing Q that emits a white flash that causes tunnel vision and confusion(AKA inverted controls every pi seconds) and a slight boost of speed for the user. This can be extremely useful when being attacked suddenly— Anutill has somewhat low health for it’s tier, and hindering potential attackers can give this dragonfly the advantage it needs.

Streamlined, a passive that, when submerged in water for more than 15sec, grants the user 25% more speed, 100% more stamina regeneration, 100% more total stamina, and 25% slower hunger drain. Streamlined can be useful in preparing for a battle.

Anutill’s ability to be in all elements makes it’s status as a carnivore not a problem at all, being able to survive off crabs, fish, or carcasses regardless of where they are. While it doesn’t have wings as a juvenile, you grow past this stage fast enough, and compared to other creatures without wings as a baby (Momola, Shiyaro) you have access to water to escape predators. Anutill also has fantastic night vision. However, it’s weight and HP are low for it’s tier, and attacks from heavier creatures or nullifying abilities such as Bone Break can hinder a Anutill and leave it a sitting duck. Or dragonfly.

they rename anutill to anthill and dont tell anyone abt the change.

context i met anutills dev in a server and we vibed (they were a kavo at oasis) and when talking to them my dyslexia reminded me that i dont type correctly and i said " i love anthill so much" while sitting as a valk right next to them.

yes i still want to die in a hole bc of this. (this was in legacy)
