On April 11, 1930, a man was born who once introduced the concept of Satanism to the world. He was unafraid of millions of sideways glances, words, and even threats.

He became an example to many, and to this day, even after his death, he remains a terrifying nightmare to religious communities of that time.

Today would have marked the 94th birthday of the High Priest Anton Szandor LaVey, the founder of the Church of Satan, and the author of many books.

Сатанизм не стремится распространить свое мировоззрение на весь мир, как это делают различные массовые религии и идеологии. Потому что сатанизм – мировоззрение Личности, а не толпы. Далеко не каждый способен стать сатанистом.

Сатанист – это особый тип личности, который не приемлет массовые религии, массовую культуру и вообще "народную массу" со всеми ее представлениями, комплексами и традиционными идеалами. Если под "людьми" понимать толпу, большинство, то сатанист – это "нелюдь", это личность, для которой неестественно то, что считается обычным и нормальным для человека толпы. Поэтому последователи сатанизма никогда не будут составлять большинство в мире, но это и не нужно. В сатанизме главное – качество, а не количество.
