Miya had asked Areum for backup on a vamp case even though she knew damn well that Areum wasn't the hunting type. Reassuring her best friend that she would keep her safe, Miya managed to convince Areum to come with her. The first half of the hunt was a breeze, able to kill vamps with ease. It wasn't until the two of them let their guards down that it almost ended up with Areum being bitten. Pulling out her katana, Miya spun around and basically sliced the vampire in half, huffing when blood splattered on her clothes, turning her head quick so the blood didn't get on her face.

“─I can see that.” Miya breathed out with a small chuckle.

“NO!” - minah

If there was anyone that Sam couldn't let die, it was Minah. There was no way in hell that he would let anything happen to her. After all, he had sworn to protect her and that was something he intended to keep his word on. She had accompanied him on a hunt that was more than a little risky. Riskier because it wasn't demons or supernatural beings they were up against: it was other hunters. Hunters who had figured out that he and Minah still had abilities. They had been on the run from these hunters for a little while, but now was the time to strike back. Or, that was what Sam had thought until they found themselves cornered by a pair of strong looking guys. One had thrown Sam to the ground, leaving him immobile for a second. The moment hazel eyes focused on the knife in the mans hand, Sam jumped into action quicker than they could respond. The knife plunged into his chest, producing a steady flow of crimson that stained flannel clothing. But even as Sam knew he was dying, he used his powers to send the pair of men flying and into the nearby wall. Tired legs gave out and the hunter found himself sitting on the ground, leaning against a nearby wall. Glazed hazel optics looked for Minah, a weak smile forming on his face. "Minah...I need you to get out of here. Go...Go find Dean. He'll know what to do. How to keep you safe. I'll catch up with you later. I - I'll call Cas. Just go." That was a lie. A bold faced lie because he knew that there wasn't any surviving this. He was already fading fast. Only when Minah grudgingly agreed to go and turned away did his smile finally falter, crystalline liquid brimming in hazel hues. Not because he was sad for himself, but sad for Minah because she'd eventually find out the truth. He didn't have long to think on it however...By the time Minah had exited the building they were in, Sam Winchester was dead.

With 2023 coming to an end I thought I'll bring this back, as I know the year hadn't been the best for a lot of people for a lot of reasons, myself included. The more reason to leave some love to all of you amazing people on my dash and everyone who has followed me through out the year. Of course, not everything was bad. I have met some wonderful new people and I hope to get to know more of you in the new year. So, celebrate today or keep it as comfy for you as you like. May 2024 treat you well and I'll see you on the other side! For everyone who's already made it to the new year, HAPPY NEW YEAR!
