during  the  holiday  months,  sonny  knows  how  hard  it  is  on  hunters.  especially  considering  majority  don't  have  a  family  or  a  home  to  go  to.  which  is  why  during  november  to  december,  she  prepares  for  all  of  it. 

thankstakinggiving  she  and  owen  prepare  an  entire  feast  for  any  hunters  that  come  to  the  safehouse.  she  even  grabs  all  the  names  in  a  hat  and  chooses  who  gets  to  cut  into  the  turkey.  sonny  makes  the  entire  day  about  being  together.  letting  hunters  enjoy  themselves  with  a  good  meal  and  some  company.  and  with  the  leftovers?  she  and  a  few  hunters  go  to  the  town  shelter  and  offer  the  rest  along  with  other  necessities.

and  for  christmas?  it's  a  big  celebration.  everything  is  moved  from  the  safehouse  to  the  shed.  a  giant  christmas  tree  stands  tall  in  the  center,  tables  are  set  up,  and  sonny  even  preps  a  secret  santa  since  she  knows  not  many  hunters  can  afford  gifts.  so  during  thanksgiving,  they  actually  get  their  secret  santa  and  it  continues  throughout  december  until  christmas  day. all  the  fesitivies  are  set  up.  same  as  every  13th  of  the  month,  gizmo  the  mechanical  bull  is  out,  music  is  blasting,  dance  floor  is  open,  games,  drinks  and  food  are  served,  karaoke  stage  open  to  anyone  who  wants  to  sing,  live  band  comes  to  perform,  except  in  the  christmas  theme.  not  to  mention,  she  always  has  a  hunter  volunteer  to  be  santa  for  hunter  kids  that  come  along.  even  the  adult  hunters  get  a  kick  out  of  it.  there  are  also  hidden  mistletoes  that  sonny  sets  up  to  watch  hunters  either  laugh  and  walk  away,  smooch,  or  make  fun  of  each  other.  then  at  night,  that's  when  the  secret  santa  commences  and  everyone  exchanges  gifts. 

as  for  new  years  eve,  it  is  celebrated  back  in  the  safehouse.  hunters  gather  to  listen  to  the  radio.  eating,  drinking,  everyone  with  a  sparkly  headband  and  holding  streamers.  a  little  thing  that  sonny  does?  she  has  everyone  write  out  their  resolutions  anonymously  and  places  them  on  a  board  that  she  brings  out  so  she  could  hang  it  up  on  the  wall  for  the  entire  new  year.  for  when  someone  needs  a  reminder  of  their  resolution.  and  when  midnight  hits,  everyone  cheers  and  it's  a  whole  new  year  to  start  again.

it's  that  time  of  year  again  where  sonny  puts  up  a  mistletoe  by  the  front  door  of  the  safehouse  and  fucks  with  the  hunters  to  see  who  will  kiss  each  other  for  funsies
