Sure, it was so not a big deal as a spell like that gets created practically every other day. Alas gaze reflected exactly that. The silent question if Nick actually believed he could take him for a fool. Both knew Nick was anything, but a common warlock. "Sure thing. It all depends how you look at it. — But if you think this is the right call I have not the means to stop you anyway." If anything he could not assist in carrying out the spell, but this really was about it and wouldn't make much of a difference as the other had the power to do it by himself and due to the contract between them, even force Alas to lend his magic.
