This is an idea I had a while back of "what if other doctors had 963s?"

Top left: SCP-963-AHC, belonging to Alto Clef. Maybe it was made in a moment of grief and panic after a sudden passing to keep a lover alive for eternity.

Bottom right: SCP-963-1C3, belonging to Iceberg. A good worker shouldn't be lost. A friend will return. (feel free to use these concepts but please credit me if you do)

English is not my main language, so... I will most likely make some mistakes (grammar etc.) but I will try my best. :>

I'm really nervous about this whole thing. I don't know how people will react to this blog. But I'm just going to yeet myself into cold water and see what happens.

Anyway, I created this blog because I wanted to see what it would be like to have my very own centered around a certain topic. This little blog will be focused on my own SCP canon plus the ocs in it. This includes the O5 council, agents and members from other GOI.

WARNING!! This blog will mention serious topics!! Some characters have dealt with bullying, homophobia and more!! Please be careful. I will try my best to tag posts like that include triggers.

Also I won't reveal my exact age but I am over 18 years old. So I would prefer that everyone who might interact with this blog is also an adult.

First things first: This blog is indeed inspired by other similar blogs. Tumblr has some really cool blogs focused on SCP content.

Let me finally start talking a bit more about my canon:

1. The veil is NOT lifted.

2. The Foundation has a pretty chill relationship with the GOC and Serpent's Hand.

3. Their relationship with the Chaos Insurgency... well, it's complicated.

4. There are different humanoid species. This includes the Saints, Starborn and Stareater.

5. Most characters you might know from the wiki do not exist in this canon. However, who knows? We might actually encounter a Clef from another canon.

I... I'm going to drop a character list. Because I have a bunch of them, and a list might help you all keeping track. Also, all of the characters are adults.

In 1939, Columbia Records refused to let Billie Holiday record the anti-lynching protest song "Strange Fruit". Milt Gabler invited her to record it for his small specialty label Commodore Records, and Columbia granted her a one-time exemption from her contract to do so, in which she recorded four songs (material for two 78rpm records). "Strange Fruit", backed with "Fine and Mellow", turned out to be the biggest selling record of her career. Although she continued to record for Columbia, in 1944, following the musicians' strike recording ban, Holiday permanently left Columbia for Commodore. Small labels like Commodore had been quicker to settle with the musician's union than large labels like Columbia, thus Holiday was able to return to recording quicker by switching to the smaller label. The Commodore tracks were more dominated by torch songs and dramatic ballads than her swing oriented Columbia material had been, although her later Columbia sides (e.g. "God Bless the Child") show she had already been evolving in this direction.

Later the same year, Holiday then followed Gabler to Decca Records, to record Lover Man. Decca had allowed Gabler to keep his own label, while also being employed by them, so long as he directed all potential hits to Decca. Both Holiday and Gabler suspected Lover Man had the potential to be a hit, thus it became her first Decca single, and indeed another of her biggest hits. Lover Man was notable for featuring a string section, and all her Decca tracks typically featured string arrangements and even choral backing, rather than jazz combos. This was Holiday's choice, as strings were often used in the white pop records of the day, and when she recorded Lover Manshe wanted the same sound offered to artists like Bing Crosby, and specifically her friend Frank Sinatra. During this same period, Holiday began performing in concert halls rather than nightclubs, and her live performances became more theatrical than jazz, with many of these dramatic songs becoming centrepieces of her set. Holiday continued to record for Decca throughout the 1940s, before again switching to Norman Granz's Clef label (later Verve) in the next decade.

The orchestras Holiday recorded with while at Commodore and Decca were variously led by Toots Camarata, Bob Haggart, Bill Stegmeyer, John Simmons, Buster Harding, Sy Oliver, and Gordon Jenkins.

Big Stuff was a Leonard Bernstein single, with Billie doing a new vocal to a song Bernstein had written as the prologue to his 1944 ballet Fancy Free. The b-side was another Bernstein song from the ballet, without Holiday: Fancy Free (Galop Variation And Finale) performed by the Ballet Theatre Orchestra Under Direction of Leonard Bernstein.

You Can't Lose A Broken Heart and My Sweet Hunk O' Trash were collaborations with Louis Armstrong.

Guilty was the only track not originally released as a 78rpm record, first appearing on the much later compilation LP The Blues Are Brewin' (Decca – DL 8701) in 1958.[4]

Death Certificate

I finished the first part of what's gonna be my Clef rewrite! This is his backstory. I'm excited to keep working on him and happy to be writing again!

Some things happened recently and I wanted to reblog this and go into more detail on the things I mentioned briefly. TW for mentions of R*pe, SH, stalking, misogyny, predators, cults and slurs, just a whole shitshow of what's not being mentioned during the rewrite issues.

Let's start with AdminBright/Mitch/Duckman.

They hated people using Bright in ways that didn't specifically fit how they wrote him, and they hated when people kinned their character. They have also stated that they're not similar to Bright in any way. They're a known pedophile/predator, they used to have a page on the wiki asking people for nudes, they even asked someone for topless pictures in the discussion on SCP-231 after that person had said they were female. They were on the wiki for way too long, only being actually banned twice recently, once temporarily, and the second permanently. (Note, the wiki leaves out the fact that they were interacting like this with minors)

Now for AuthorClef

His character is written to be a predator. It's even still in his personnel file. He writes most things into r*pe jokes or bad SA. Any female characters he gets his hands on, he writes into young (scarily young) victims of horrible things.

He takes files and changes them to involve cults or SA. He's credited with writing SCP-166, SCP-231 (massive tw for this one since it mentions cults and CSA), and SCP-031 (which originally belonged to a user known as PixelatedHarmony, he rewrote it)

I'll start with SCP-166. He didn't originally write the article, a user named far2. Here is the first version of SCP-166 by far2

And here is AuthorClef's "total rewrite" of SCP-166. TW again for mentions of SA. He entirely changed the article, took away her power of willingly controlling men (while the first article is still gross because she's a teenager, AuthorClef made it much much worse)

And here's what he said about the Teenage Gaia version of SCP- 166. After checking the articles linked, they're articles where she's still written to be a Teenage succubus. Articles where they're still creepy with an underage character.

Author Kondraki

He was banned for stalking and harassing someone because they were a furry. He also mass-edited/deleted many wiki articles. TW for slur usage and stalking.

And now the misc stuff.

Iceberg supposedly isn't around anymore because of his misogyny, Harmony isn't around anymore due to doxing and harassing people, numerous people on the wiki use slurs openly and even ban people out of nowhere. The wiki has been like this since 2008 and even before that when it was based around 4chan. There've been several accounts of wiki members stealing art for their SCP files in the past because that's what the wiki did, people would take random pictures they found and write it into a scientific take on an entity without crediting the artist. People have been banned from the wiki for "being stupid".

We can't just rewrite Bright while not caring about the long, long list of things that have happened on the wiki. Why aren't we rewriting anyone else? Why are we pretending no one else on the wiki sucks?

Bright belongs to the community now. If you're going to rewrite Bright, you need to acknowledge that he's not the only thing wrong with the site, otherwise it feels performative and like you're being hypocritical.

Probably the only post I'll make about this

Howdy! I don’t really make posts like this very often but I’d love to spread some awareness of things and just get my thoughts out there!

 Recently in the SCP fandom, there’s been a very heated debate on renaming the character Jack Bright to Elias Shaw along with a total rewrite of him to what is essentially a completely different character and not just a remake. 

 I feel like this rewrite is more of a cover-up and a chance to make the wiki look better than anything and that’s not mentioning the various issues there are with the creators of it. It’s painting the issues with AB in a way that makes it as if they’re the only issue when in reality, the entire wiki has a history of corruption, grooming, doxing, racism, misogyny, etc. Wiki members have been banned for just speaking out against other members or spreading awareness of what goes on with wiki staff. I would like to believe that some of the actions of Shaw’s creators are just ignorance but that can only go so far before it’s intentional and actively harmful.

 Some users have made their own rewrites and I support that as long as they acknowledge the origins of Jack Bright and spread awareness about his creator in any way they can without just covering it up and hiding it further. It’s important to learn from the past and not repeat it.

 If you don’t like Bright and prefer Shaw, that’s fine, but do not attack people that prefer him and vice versa. Don’t send hate, don’t send death threats. I would like it if people could just be civil about this but unfortunately that’s not always the case and some people just don’t know how to have calm discussions or step away to continue something when they’re in a better headspace. It’s irritating.

 I personally am going to continue using the character Jack Bright in my SCP fics, art, and other things. I believe the character belongs more to the community than anything and other writers have done far more for the character than AB ever did. Covering up the character and removing everything relating to them would only stop more people from learning about AB and the wiki’s issues.
