Oh yeah. A 14 y/o girl who decided to hunt has indeed been through much worse than her being forced to be kissed, touched and drunk by a man. Her hunting it's so much worse than her being forced to dress in a way that made her very uncomfortable and to dance on the crotch of a man until she threw up.
#“she was kissed - she's gonna end her life for that”#wow...#I am sick again#hunting is worse than s/a now#by their logic#and for the people who are saying the age gap in a fantasy story doesn't matter because rhysand is the same age as Feyre in Fae world.#Tarquin is in his 80' and he is considered a young adult by the Fae.#Rhysand is 500 y/o.#He's not young like Feyre by Fae age.#anti sjm#anti rhysand#feyre deserves better#feyre archeron deserves better#anti fake feyre stan#anti rhysand stan

I think it’s very interesting that “Feyre stans” (antis in disguise), defend Nesta and Tamlin’s actions, then use their “love” of Feyre as a manipulation tool against anyone that calls them out on their hypocrisy. You’re not a Feyre stan if you defend Nesta and Tamlin’s abuse of her, and still ship her with her abuser.
And the fact that these people spend majority of their content criticising Feyre’s character for no longer accepting her abusers abuse, than they do for Tamlin and Nesta’s treatment of Feyre, is very telling. And when they’re called out for this, they try and switch the argument and make it all about how horrible Rhys and the IC are…Love, we know you’re not a Feyre stan and we know you love Nesta and Tamlin bc of their treatment of Feyre. You don’t have to hide it anymore 💀

Rhysand stans:"nobody wants to talk about how Rhysand is a SA Victim"
Girl, I see constantly posts/tiktoks/content about how Rhysand is a SA Victim and 99% of the comments are always super supportive, but every time a Nesta post is made about how she was SA'd by the Kelpie and/or Thomas there are always some Nesta antis in the comments being like "her trauma, doesn't absolve her of being a horrible sister!!!!" even though the post has nothing to do with feyre
or than god forbid people point out that feyre is a Victim of SA in the hands of Rhysand all hell breaks loose, and instead of acknowledging what rhysand did was SA , most of the fandom is out here trying to justify it with the same old tired phrase of "he did it to protect her" or even worse out right denying it by being like "rhysand touching feyre's waist, arms, making her sit on his lap and kissing her against her will isn't SA because only certain circumstances need to occur for it to be classified as SA"
Don't even get me started on the people who believe that gwyn faked her SA and is secretly an evil lightsinger
And the one who rarely gets any recognition of being a SA Victim (besides from his fans) is Lucien. I saw a handful of posts/tiktoks from lucien fans that bring this topic up but those are not nearly as popular as Rhysand's posts and where are almost always some people in the comments of lucien's posts who are asking "when did he get SA'd?"
The majority of the fandom always talks about Rhysand being a SA Victim
#I don't understand why rhysand stans need to always attach this label of rhysand's trauma never being acknowledge by the narrative or fandom#since his trauma is literally constantly talked about be it in the books and in the majority of the fandom#nobody says that was rhys had to endure wasn't horrible#but why are his fans of constant need to make him seem like an underrated character in the series/fandom#when he is one of the most popular mmc characters in regards of the romantasy genre and is constantly seen in top 5 book boyfriends list?#anti acotar fandom#acotar critical#rhysand critical#anti rhysand#though not really more anti rhysand's stans

Hi LB, I woke up this morning and read another one of your recs which I fell in love with and I wanted to express my gratitude for all you do.
So here it is. Thank you for everything you do for this fandom, not just the beautiful and inspired work you create, but how you never miss an opportunity to uplift other artists as well, how you seem to take note and remember work from even the smallest artists, how everytime someone compliments you you never fail to redirect part of this love to shine it onto someone else and their work.
Becoming a good writer is something that can be honed but the kind of goodness you have it cannot be taught or faked and I may not know you personally but I'm absolutely certain you are a gift to everyone lucky enough to be in your life as well. Thank you for spreading some of your light to this corner of the Internet and thanks you for all the wonderful writing you have shared and will share in the future.
Enjoy your bank holiday and Easter weekend.
Goodness, Anon 🥺
I've reread this so many times and I've been at such a complete loss of how to properly articulate what this meant to me. I came into this fandom very soon after ACoSF came out, when the ship war was really starting to take off and the Feyre/Nesta stans were vicously at each others throats. It felt impossible to be in any space that wasn't rampant with hate for some other group of fans. And very early on I decided I wanted to be intentional about fostering a positive space in the fandom.
I've by no means been perfect, but I've made a very deliberate effort to keep my blog void of anti content for any ship or character. And as my account has grown (which has been a very humbling and mind boggling experience), I've tried to use it to spread positivity in a fandom that feels so intent to tear at each other's throats. I wanted to contribute to a community that focused on uplifting each other.
This might be the first time I've been transparent about that goal, I guess because I'm concious of patting myself too heavily on the back and/or subjecting myself to scrutiny. But it was really lovely to see this message, because it's gratifying to feel like the concious effort I'm making is recognized. It's also been an extremely rewarding way to make fandom friends!
I'll also say that I'm definitely not the only blog who's taken this approach. So many of my good friends also curate uplifting spaces, and I've been so fortunate to fall into a community of writers and artists that support and hype up one another 🥰
Then there's the wonderful blogs like @acourtofkindness and @elainsflowergrams that go out of their way to spread kindess and positivy - thank you both for all you do 💕
And thank you, anon. This was such a lovely message. It made me feel seen in my silly, little efforts to make this fandom a brighter place. And I hope you know that it's also the work of people like you, who take the time to send such kind messages to others, that contribute to making this little corner of the internet feel like a happier, more positive place. I hope you're having a wonderful bank holiday/Easter Weekend as well!

The number of people who hate Nesta while being the IC's hardcore stan is astronomical.
There are those Fayre's stans who are jealous and irritated by the fact that Nesta exists outside of her mate—her life and story are vast and don’t revolve around Cassian alone. In fanart of Feyre, we rarely see her depicted without Rhys. The traits most often associated with Feyre are her glorified fake consort title and her identity as a painter. Meanwhile, Nesta is frequently shown in fanart wearing her leathers, reading, as a Valkyrie, with her Valkyrie sisters, or as a badass Lady Death. People tend to talk about Nesta and Cassian on more equal footing, while Rhys is more popular than Feyre, even though Feyre has three books centered on her and Nesta has only one.
And that’s the fault in these so-called Nesta antis. They hate Nesta because they’re angry she gets more love than Feyre. They’re mad that Nesta’s character is unique, not something you often see in romantasy's FMC, which makes her stand out more. Of course, they’re also angry at Nesta because to them, the IC’s and Rhysand’s words are law. They made Rhys more popular than Feyre because they love him more, way more. And they hate that most of Nesta’s stans don’t glorify Cassian the way they do Rhys. They can’t stand that SJM chose Nesta to be that powerful and that happy with her chosen family, while Feyre is stuck with her husband’s family, whose loyalty is first and foremost to Rhys.

Maybe its just me but I never liked how Rhysand thought materialistic things was the best way to make amends with Nesta. Nesta didn’t even like the things he sent, which shows how sincere his actions were anyways. Didn’t even take the time to figure out the best way to show his regrets over his bullshit behaviour.
According to the High Lord, nothing says “I’m sorry I tried to murder you” like a ruby necklace or “I shouldn’t have kept knowledge about your powers from you” like a fancy dress.
Rhysand was really out here replacing “Sorry I wasn’t supportive of your relationship with Cassian, abused my power and authority against you and made you feel like shit”, with a decorative pillow. Like what?????
This whole insta-love between Rhysand and Nesta needs to die a quick and horrible death. I still don’t understand how Nesta was able to view Rhysand as a brother after all he did. That’s a title he needs to earn. After all the apologies and complacent behaviour Sarah J has Nesta showing all through ACOSF, there better be serious atonement within the IC towards Nesta in the next book.
