Parcial 2 - Anthony Blunt: Manierismo. Grupo 4 Experiencia Personal

La evaluación se basó en grupos previamente determinados en donde a cada uno le fue asignado una lectura de un autor especializado en una de las temáticas vistas en clase. Se debían investigar la vida y obra del autor, las obras y arquitectos mencionados en la lectura y elaborar un glosario de términos. Toda esta información se debía exponer concisamente el día del parcial en un rango de 15 minutos.

Al igual que con el parcial 1, esta dinámica me pareció efectiva, puesto que lleva a los estudiantes a retener la información necesaria, desarrollar el pensamiento crítico y sintetizar la información para luego exponerla en un corto lapso de tiempo donde más que dar análisis detallados, se deben apelar a los puntos claves. En general, me pareció una modalidad evaluativa práctica para el aprendizaje y para aplicarla a las demás áreas de la carrera.

Known as Sir Anthony Blunt KCVO, from 1956 to 1979 was a leading British art historian. Blunt was a professor of art history at the University of London, the director of the Courtauld Institute of Art and Surveyor of the Queen's Pictures.

 With the invasion of Poland by German and Soviet forces Blunt joined the British Army in 1939. During the Phoney War he served in France in the Intelligence Corps. When the Wehrmacht drove British forces back to Dunkirk in May 1940 he was part of the Dunkirk evacuation.  Blunt's role as a Soviet spy was known long before his public exposure according to MI5 papers released in 2002, Moura Budberg, adventuress and suspected double agent reported in 1950 that Blunt was a member of the Communist Party but this was ignored

side note, thank god they let Alex actually swear in the tv show (bestest boy has earned it)

also i do love the Alex/Tom dynamics so much. i think Tom is portrayed really well

also Mrs Jones saying "i thought Alex was with you" and the immediate cut to him singing over the torture SOOOO GOOOOOD

female K unit slays. so glad we got to see them (K unit) in some capacity (and the torture scene is so good omg). also i lowkey like this iteration of them better (though i am fully witholding opinions until i see Snakehead Ben Daniels down the line)

AND ALEX ESCAPING??? i will say that the vibes are spot-on so far even tho the plot is a mess

At least five to six shots of her lurking in the background, murmuring in Alex's ear... For a 2 minute trailer, that's a lot. They're clearly not shying away from the creepy predatoriness of this relationship and I am so here for that 🙌

But yeah, post-SCORPIA Alex is going to be the death of me (haha, geddit?) LOOK AT HIM. He looks so fucking tortureddd 🤐😩

I have such high expectations for this season and I can already tell it's not going to disappoint. Just like season 1 and 2 never did. Especially not with shots like these:

I don't know what we did collectively as a fandom to deserve this great an adaptation lol. I am simply filled with so much joy that, whatever happens, I can safely get excited about a story so close to my heart 🙏💘🙃

I love how while only 3 series into Alex Rider TV we really see the jaded, angry Alex we get by the end of the entire book series. The realities of a child spy are much more obvious in the show and something I really enjoy seeing explored
