Hey I was wondering, are there any bl characters from any show you would date, if yes, why? Also, if you are up for sharing any bl actors, you find attractive irl?

I mean, I don't know if there's anyone I would date in general so that's... that's a big part.

But also, like... if I do date, if I did, it wouldn't typically be the type of person that gets to star in a BL. I like dorks and nerds and, like, the closest you get are the SCOY boys but even them... no one who cares about fashion is my type for real world dating.

So... is there a BL character I would actually date? Not... not really? Maybe Mawin from 23.5. He's a real cutie and I could see him playing enough board games in his free time for us to have fun. But his friend group... not so much.

Actors? I mean, there's a question of attractive being such a strange term for me so... I guess?

Anson Chen from History 4. Anson Chen is adorable and fantastic and I would just look at him forever, frankly. Bonus is also a real cutie. But, like, attractive IRL is a very confusing concept to me. They're mostly all cuties, of course, and there's no one that I'd say just... isn't cute? I lean in towards longer hair and that tends to be temporary or for a role so... it's harder to judge?

I dunno.

ON THIS DAY DECEMBER 28, 2022 was the premiere of HIStory 5: Love in the Future

HIStory 5: LOVE IN THE FUTURE (2022, TAIWAN)

(December 28, 2022 - March 1, 2023)

Tai Che Ni known as Johnny (SEAN CHANG) is from the year 2000 where he lives with his precious grandmother and works as a delivery driver. He is given a delivery for a man named Hai Yi (LINUS WANG) and is propelled into the year 2022. He finds Hai Yi the heir to a massive group empire.

Johnny wants to return to the year 2000 and his sweet grandmother but as he spends time with Hai Yi he begins to like Hai Yi and vice versa. Johnny also meets Wynn (JASON TAUH) a sweet orphan that falls for new boss Vincent (ANSON CHEN)

Both these burgeoning couples have a connection from the past into the future.

HiStory 5: Love in the Future was... um, average I guess? Was fairly meh about the main couple but loved the sides until Wun-sen just buggered off without a word. Couldn't he have made some excuse rather than just up and disappeared on the boy he's been crushing on for TWELVE YEARS? Anson Chen is rather cute though and I spent the entire show thinking of Huai-en as a baby Shao Fei - something about his expressions, eyes and mouth.

Couple of decent sex scenes but the handheld camera swooping around was intrusive (and not in a good way).

Still, not the worst thing to spend 10 hours on although I don't think I'll be doing a rewatch.

HIStory5: Love in the Future Ep 7 (MDL 13-14) Stray Thoughts

Last time, Hai Yi's father died, and now the department store board is in a succession struggle about whether Hai Yi should become the new chairman. This has immediately put him in beef with Vincent, who I think is actually on his side. Hai Yi is now avoiding Bo-wei, who is not thrilled about this.

Hai Yi should at least apologize to Johnny for not giving any explanation.

Lin Wynn is the best boy, and I love him.

I don't think I'm really interested in this corporate pissing match.

I always struggle with non-communicative plotlines. It's a bit tedious.

Maybe Anson Chen is just doing too good of a job with Vincent, but I don't believe he would betray Hai Yi or Poseidon Department Store at all.

Everyone is being so grumpy.

Even if I'm feeling a bit uncertain where to land on this fight/reconciliation, I can appreciate how pretty this little park is.

There are a lot of complicated feelings in play between Bo-wei and Hai Yi, and I don't know if I want Bo-wei to go back or stay here.

Hai Yi has probably the most impressive jawline in genre right now.

At least Bo-wei appreciates all the spying going on.

Oh, Lin Wynn, have a little faith in your man.

I hope no one did something horrible to Hai Yi's house staff to free up this position.

Man, it did not take long for Bo-wei to become jealous once he and Lin Wynn started working together.

Gosh, I haven't been this frustrated at the end of an episode in a while.
