Part two to this

Gonna start of with the name list again- Cackling Cannoneer = Thane, Anxious Angler = Fern, Abyss Guide = Abby, Ceasing Commodore = Alemez, and Bumbling Boatswain = Ismael

The whole crew has a slew of different accents- Thane is scottish (as said before), Fern is English, Abby is Iris (she got it from her mom!), Alemez is Welsh, and Boatswain... Doesn't exactly have one, since they are selectively mute :)

I like to believe that Alemez is, in fact, Abby's dad based on the concept notes!

Abby, as the Guide of Abyss, has more of a leeway than most guides since she ALSO has to look after the Beast for it to not escape.

By leeway, i mean that she's more grumpy now than she was alive because she has a constant flow of telepathically transmitted information of what's approximately happening in Treasure Reef

That does make it easier for her to relax a little though, because she doesn't actually have to be on the lookout. Still means that she has a constant tiny headache. Poor child :(

She doesn't ever tell anyone this.

Alemez and Ismael are longtime friends that trust each other's back. While Alemez is the captain, Ismael is first mate

Everyone has at some point used one of Thane's guns. He always fusses over their safety with them whenever he finds out but prefers to not admit it

Alemez has emotionally adopted everyone in the crew. No he doesn't care that you're not blood related you're part of the crew and thus the family

(kudos to @doppelneer for this one!) the whole crew has at least one gem on their body, which signifies them as part of the crew. but! That's not their only function. Since the gems are actually darkstones, they're used as emergency batteries if needed!

If they would ever accept another crewmate, you'll know you're like actually part of the crew if they give you a gem. Use this for your sky ocs, because i did ;)

Ismael "makes" the gems! Just whittles them down then checks out where would be the best place to have it on the respective person to figure out what frame would be best for it

Fern is so anxious because they had bad childhood "friends" probably, who gave them lots of frights with crabs and whatanot for laughs. If they ever told anyone their story Thane would track them down and stare them down with absolute simmering rage

Fern is the medic of the ship! Though, they have no idea how to treat fatal wounds, like a krill attack. Just delay them.

They named their ship "Skirl", which means scream/call/screech, for their call for the sea (and also because Alemez and Ismael, the two who started the crew, cannot sing at all)

They tend to avoid krills, though if there's only one then they can gang up on it well enough

All leftover fish gets dried! They all have a dried fish pouch for snacks and if they go exploring for longer than intended.

Everyone on the crew knows how to sew, as a necessity. And repair the ship. Of course, some are way better than others. They just know them for emergencies.

Fern is the best at sewing. They made the snack (dried fish) pouches for everyone.

And that's it for now! A kinda badly organized list of headcannons that I could get off the top of my head that doesn't relate to any au I have with them for the least amount of confusion. Have fun!

Gosh I hope I can get this big boi in Pokemon Go. Look at this guy, he’s a fricking battleship. G-Max Venusaur is also a priority, while Charizard does not interest me. But yeah, I am hype for the turtle kaiju (well, one of two)

In other monster hunting news, Coromon has been going well. In a single day I caught three new Perfect Coromon, a frog I named Tox-Skin for one of my superhero ocs (he’s incompetent and weak but he keeps trying to help people. That’s why I haven’t evolved this Fibio to the final stage. Well I did to fill out the database, but I devolved him afterwards) a beetle I named KR Kuuga (no fear, no pain) and a hermit crab I named Kril for the protagonist of Another Crab’s Treasure. Right now I am grinding to get Tox-Skin and Kuuga to max level, I will work on Kril later. But yeah, I specifically have been using Potent Incense to try to get Perfect frogs and beetles, so I am quite pleased that it worked. I now have at least one Perfect Coromon of each type in my main game, not counting the spoiler type.

IT'S THE 22ND AND I SPENT 13 HOURS ON THIS DRAWING WHY CAN I NEVER BE NORMAL 😭😭😭😭😭 I am also working on like 3 other drawings that i WANTED to post in june, but because my brain seemingly cannot just draw a SIMPLE drawing and i always have to draw something very time consuming, you shall see those next month. Or later, I'm not actually too torn up about not posting within a certain timeframe, I just find it funny that i thought drawing all 7 of my ocs and my fursona wouldn't take too long just bc they're chibi lmao.

Also, that millipede in the middle is a sona I've been trying to design for AGES. It's just taken a long time because anthropomorphising a long bug with about 50 legs is, unsurprisingly, difficult. I finally figured out how i wanted his body to look thanks to inspiration from "Another Crab's Treasure," the way Kril's second pair of legs kind of naruto-run behind him is very cute and makes a cool silohuette, and gave me a way to make the millipede's longer legs look less out of place. His current name is just 'Mr. Millipede' and i have no real set colours for him either. I tried to do kind of an oil-slick effect on him in this one, but it didn't *really* turn out how I pictured, I need more practice lol.

Dropped a little teaser in this post, so I guess there’s no time like the present for another OC lore drop!

This two-headed pirate captain used to be two separate humans, Captain Levi and Captain Nathaniel. The two developed an intense rivalry over the years, trying to outclass and outmaneuver one another in their quest for riches and infamy.

This quest eventually led them to the long lost Temple of Dagon, where both pirate factions battled over possession of the treasure within. But in the midst of battling over a mysterious chest, they set off an explosion of eldritch energy, which transformed every last crew member into a monstrous human-fish hybrid. As they were both right next to one another and holding the chest at the time, Levi and Nathaniel were fused together right down the middle.

Since that day, the duo began a new quest across the sea: to find some way to turn themselves back to normal, and most importantly, split them up so they can get as far away from one another as physically possible...

Other Info: -A pirate captain is nothing without a ship, and Leviathan is no exception. Originally, when Levi and Nathaniel were humans in separate bodies, they both had separate ships. Nathaniel's was christened "Poseidon's Pride", and Levi's was "The Ravager". In the pursuit of Dagon's Temple, both captain's ships sustained some serious battle damage, but they both reached their destination at around the same time; a lone island out in the middle of the ocean.

As soon as they set foot on the shore, the weather quickly takes a turn for the worse, but Levi and Nathaniel are both gunning for the treasure and ignore it. However, the entire course of events leading up to the pirates being cursed takes much, much longer than expected; The Temple of Dagon is a huge labyrinth full of traps and puzzles, and the two captains are evenly matched the entire time. And so, when the monstrous, mutated crew finally crawls their way back out of the temple, they find a massive typhoon swept over the island in the day they were gone. Both of their ships have been tossed ashore, reduced to useless wrecks of wood.

After a LOT of arguing and hurling vicious threats, the newly fused Captain Leviathan orders their combined crew to complete their first major task: building a new ship from the remains of the old. Said ship wasn't exactly pretty; a very large, jagged Frankenstein's monster of a vessel that matched the mutated fish-man crew to a tee. But on the water, it is both durable and shockingly fast, as well as incredibly effective at striking fear into the hearts of enemies. Which is why, after much disagreement, Levi and Nathaniel settled on a new name: "The Fangtooth".

-Nate and Levi have two separate brains that think independently, so one head can fall asleep while the other remains awake. It's actually pretty useful when they need to keep watch at night, or keep an eye out for any sneak attacks, but it's annoying when one head is too loud and disrupts their "twin's" beauty sleep.

-When it comes to walking from Point A to Point B, their legs sync up automatically if they are in agreement on their destination. But if they can't agree on where to go, it can screw things up to the point they're unable to move at all or are left stumbling all over the place (which they were doing a LOT of when they were first fused together). It often comes down to a battle of wills, where one of them can wrestle control of their legs from the other, with some difficulty.

-Some of their internal organs are fused together, while others are divided between them. They each have one lung and pair of gills, so they can talk and breathe out of sync. They also have two esophagi, but they share a single enlarged stomach and digestive tract. This means that they are very prone to eating too much too fast, since it all goes to the same place, and when one of them gets a bellyache, the other one feels it too.

In vore scenarios, if they are not in agreement over turning someone into food, their digestion will slow to a crawl (possibly leading to their prey fighting their way out if Nate doesn't let them out first). If they are in agreement, their gut works much faster at churning up whatever they ate.
