Aries Sun | Pisces Moon | Aries Mercury | Aquarius Venus and Mars

God ok so I hope I make it in time for his birthday still and I’ll give a quick… overview of the main points I’ve talked about before it shuts off

The first thing to talk about are those Aquarius Venus/Mars he has because damn that’s an incredible thing to have?? I’m going to talk about the placement first before we dive into the aspects

A lot of incredible dancers in the idol industry tends to have aspects to Aquarius– particularly Aquarius Mars/Sun (Chungha, Hoseok, Seulgi oh and Jongin also has?? Aquarius stuff as well??)

With Minseok, this Aquarius is probably an understated but really really powerful side to him thats– amazing to see honestly!!

Part of why Aquarius placements are incredible is because they have a lot of persevering power. Not just as a fixed/air sign, but also because of his Aries (Sun/Mars sextile) and how it’s working together in his manifestation

Bodily, physically. There’s a lot of tangibility (physicality) to Aquarius even if most interpretation talks about the mind/energy that they embody. It’s the translation of those energy (external/stimuli/noises/source) into something that’s grounded (fixed) onto the physical body– movement, dancing, interpretation of immaterial things into the physicality of the situation/reality is something that Aquarians have an incredible ability to do intuitively as well.

See the thing about Aquarius is that they embody both the ‘learning/conditioning’ aspect of a craft (certain aspects of the topic, like say ‘teaching’ themselves to do something, incredible perseverance/discipline in this regards) as well as the intuitive/analysis quality of it that comes from the ‘self/self-expression’

It’s a combination of Saturnian energy and Uranian energy. That Uranian energy in particular– taking something that’s been learnt and progressing/leading into something that’s ‘moving forward’ with (’yes we know that but then what now/what next’). Having the space/freedom in order to do so.

These people embody a lot of discipline/control that comes from their own mindset/values (not what socially regarded) and without the ‘title/responsibility’ set on them ‘officially’ by other people (authority giving them titles of ‘leaders’ in something) – they can excel in so many different areas they set their mind to. And that has to do with the ‘freedom’ they are given and their ability to work well on their own terms/set themselves up for it.

You can see your local Aquarius excelling well at something that doesn’t burden them with titles– often times, Aquarius are said to be rebellious and free-spirited but it has more to do with the mind-set or restrictions (lack thereof) that is set upon them by others/themselves.

Aquarius ARE discipline, but more like SELF-discipline in what THEY want to do. Aquarius works so well when they have a purpose, a space, an area where they can just push their energy into and do their work/show their skill-sets and adjust others as they see needed.

The dominance/control over their own skills and being respected/admired on the subject helps the Aquarius placements a lot– there’s no pressure of anything ‘official’ but the work speaks for itself, and the respect/admiration/people coming to them for advice truly helps them take on the lead/flourish in what they do.

There’s integrity here, in the way that they demonstrate rather than speak. They are people who really do ‘fix’ alot of their energy into driving power/force of what their skills are/what they do. Aquarius energy (Saturn/Uranus) often let people notice a couple of things about them:

1) They are naturally disciplined, capable achievers and leaders, able to work on their own and with a team. They can handle shit and often times, their Saturnian energy really do enhance their critical eye and they are able to give constructive/creative advice without offending too many people (maybe not in regards to emotions/others insecurities) because it comes from a place of understanding/truly wanting to see manifestation in something and not undermining anyone’s ability as they do ‘the best that they can’

2) They don’t notice that they stand out, even when they’re doing nothing. Its the way they carry themselves, with grace and capabilities. True power of these Aquarians comes from within and their ability to detect and ‘filter’ the bad/good intentions from people.

Aquarius Venus in particular, can be good at helping others problems out more so than themselves sometimes. In a way, they ARE invested in helping out others but most might not notice this/take offense to it because they can be focused on analyzing/thinking about the problems (and can come off as quite blunt) instead of highlighting/knowing how to word things right (cushion it) to show how understanding/compassionate they truly are (misunderstanding).

At the same time there’s a strong driving force in focusing on themselves. No messy, no non-sense. Often times they’re fun-loving people but within the square they’ve drawn up for themselves. Discipline remember? If they deem something as ‘tasteless’ then that’s that on that.

Aquarius ‘fixed/air’ nature is more about the driving force– the movement of getting yourself into this motion/gear of constant movement (air) and the repeated pattern of it. Most Aquarius placements may have to find a way to ‘break’ out of the mold they made for themselves– they are quite self-aware as well so I’m sure most would always notice when they ‘lack’ something and tries to work on it consciously by themselves (through social interaction– often times when people complain that they ‘lack’ compassion or ‘hurt’ others intentionally)

Most people who give constructive criticism to Aquarius would often mention begrudgingly that they ARE honest/truthful but at the same time, they may often disregard certain emotionality level to it (and thats the main problem for them).

The Aquarius driving motion– is thinking over the latter part and finding ‘steps’ to overcome it, once they have step one in mind they start implementing it. They work on a trial and error, most of the time as they go (in order to remedy the problem/deal with things as they come).

Aquarius Venus often has people thinking they’re: ‘freedom loving!!!’ and ‘friendly’ even when it’s?? the ‘result’ of what they’re prompted to do (reaction) not the ‘reasoning’ (like say there’s more to it beneath the layer than that and you can’t take things on a surface level if you want to understand them/have to actually ask/get to know them to not cause misunderstanding)

What you see isn’t exactly how it is. They’re friendly because they believe in universality, it’s politeness in a way– decency and respect for others/that should be given back to them. If you cross that line, they have no obligation to be ‘friendly’ towards you – they’re not gonna lie there and take it. You have to learn how to understand how they work as well.

‘Freedom loving’ in another way is a case of privacy/personal space, it’s being grounded in oneself (like an earth sign) and a self-expression. It’s for them, not for you. Don’t get it twisted thinking you can’t ground them, ‘freedom-loving’ is a way they ground themselves. This isn’t your call to make, it’s theirs. So respect that too!

Most people don’t think they’re polite because they’re blunt– but they are polite. They’re thoughtful, just need to develop consideration more sometimes.

There’s a lot of dichotomy/things we can go through with them because y know– they symbolize two things. The water carrier/vase thing and the the water flowing out. Much like how the other air signs have duality in them, Aquarius has this too but may be more concerned/stressed about how other people ‘dont fully understand them’ but yeah. We’ll get to that soon (in other posts maybe)

So that’s part of how he comes across to others, probably at the beginning. There’s a respectful distance with strangers/new people sometimes– observing, can sometimes be a little distance/detached but he has enough nervous energy and friendliness (personability) to not like– come across as someone who’s unreasonable/you can’t get along with sometimes

(If you’re not much of an overly teasing/dramatic person because that can throw them off a bit bc ‘tf bitch?? we’re not that close yet you can’t do that’ – Saturnian Aquarius respectable energy)

His true core however– Sun/Moon (and Mercury) combination IS someone who’s quite playful. Often quirky, has a sense of humour that’s quite quirky even if he doesn’t SAY say things but rather SHOW it instead (emotionality and compassion flows out more than is said/translated through communication sometimes)

The main beef here is with that Pisces Moon which really really shines a lot. Minseok essentially — is such a compassionate, sensitive, sentimental (sensual) person at his core. In terms of subconscious, the internal and his emotions, it translates to how he cares about others, his dream/goals and how he expresses himself so much.

This is the driving force– the Aries acts as the outlets and the way he goes about getting things/doing things. Pisces is the prompter. It’s the part of him that feels, fears, deals and settles things internally. It’s the part of him that creates dimensionality and layers sometimes. Strong need for self-expression and connectivity with others.

Those with Pisces Moon often tends to be someone who finds themselves using creative media/outlets in order to manifest themselves, because it’s a way they can push all that scattered nervous/anxious/worrier energy out into something that they enjoy and can connect to others as well. They may ‘depend’ on something (music, writing, art, creating something) and often when they’re alone– they may tend to day-dream or let their mind get some ‘rest’ and can come off as someone who has a lot of internal energy they can utilize into the external (if you’re friends with them)

Amazingly receptive to other people’s emotionality as well, they’re one the fastest people to be fond of others and may often let others cling/hold on/take care of them (or be taken care of but that may happen less often) – most pisces moon people are incredible actors, because they are able to put themselves in other people’s shoes and can ‘feel’ emotions as if they’re going through the same thing (highly imaginative)

The more they suffer/think of scenarios that makes them suffer the more they get emotional, there’s an element to them that’s self-suffering sometimes (not always)– as in, they may somethings be the kind of worrier that over-stress something/has a habit of doing that (over-think/analyze something) that they may self-doubt or push themselves into the ground (hesitance)

Because they’re rather fearful of being ‘overly optimistic/hopeful’ and not have that handed to them in a plate (which is why achievements are kinda met with a confused, happy, scared kinda approach sometimes) – they’d rather think ‘realistically’ and self-sabotage themselves from their ‘dream/first choice’ if they let this element of worrying overwhelm them.

On the other hand, he does have a lot of Aries placements that may be the ‘dependency’ crutch. As in, if his Pisces dreams gets too overwhelming/scary because it’s so hopeful– the Aries is bumped up to help provide support.

Anything he doesn’t earn with his own two hands (bare hands) and hasn’t climbed/rightfully felt he achieved he doesn’t take. It has to feel like he ‘earned’ it somehow — a sense of principality, if he’s put in effort/worked hard for it then it comes with a price that’s he’s paid. The Aries aims for a perfectionist state (much like it’s sister Libra) but the process is more through proving themselves, rather than tactic/prepped-work/strategy sometimes.

Pisces can also be— scared of criticism, or worry a lot about perspectives. Other people’s perspective, consideration for things. The overall sensitivity and sentimentality to certain things can often make them pace back and forth by themselves figuring out what to do and how to do things without acting much on it.

Whilst Aries (polarizing force) can be the absence of that – going back to the basics (full circle) instinct, what they want, the main ‘core’ of the thing tightly wrapped and concentrated/focused on. The sheer belief in something that pushes native through the achieving their goals/dreams without ‘thinking too much’ about things uselessly (efficiency)

The thing about this is, you have one side of him that does think things through. Is sensitive, considerate. Vulnerable and learn a lot from others (want to share it with others) – but he doesn’t speak/say. He doesn’t pull attention to it because maybe who knows who’s going to judge him (criticism) and Aries is against vulnerabilities/exposure of that or rather– talking about it in a way that leaves them defenseless and cuts down on their credibility (it’s like opening the self up bare and the other person looking down on them/stomping on/not understanding them)

Aries/Pisces combination is more SHOWING through his self-expression, how it’s received. Learning it’s OKAY to be vulnerable in a way– because he has plenty of strengths (Aries/Aquarius) that carrying personal things by himself can become burdensome on his psyche if he doesn’t ‘share’ it with others sometimes as well (Jupiterian influence)

This Pisces Moon gets stronger, more developed as it expresses itself. There’s moments where he’s intuitive, soft and sensitive and can’t hold back his tears/compassion for others. And there’s time where he’d rather support, encourage, motivate or direct/guide others instead.

There’s a duality to this nature here. Where on one hand— you get Aries who’s confident, self-assured, may be blunt/crass and decisive. And then there’s Pisces who’s hesitant, sensitive, compassionate/willing to listen but also needs time to itself as well (both do, Aries in order to manifest/do things for the ‘self’ and Pisces to cover emotionally from taking in so many stimuli from the environment)

If you don’t know him that well— there are moments where his Aries may discredit his Pisces side. Sometimes he’s someone who is blunt, straight-forward. Someone who is decisive, based on fair play and honesty– focused on principality. If you want something this is something that is earned/worked for it. Can be quite stubborn, may limit his vision because he can see things from his experience. And sometimes his Pisces takes over, someone who worries, over-stress, hesitant and indecisive.

You have a duality here of someone who can be pretty vulnerable (or weak-minded) and someone who is also strong, resilience and sure of themselves (confident, strong-minded) you get a mixture of a person who have to balance the two together— because they make full circle right?

How to not get stuck in either Aries or Pisces but rather balance them both – develop both essentially.

It’s like on certain topics his Aries takes control– this is how it is, that’s how to get there. This is a sure-fire decision. Talking more about the things they need to tick off. And then on certain topics, there’s a deliberate consideration of emotionality on topics. The goal for Aries/Pisces ultimately is to work from one energy to the other – if you’re a Pisces thinking phrase right now, instead of discrediting your work it’s using that Aries energy to not suppress it (but encourage it/speed it up) it order for it to reach something the Aries can take the banton from and run with (manifest)

If you’re an Aries thinking phase, it’s adding that heavier element (expansive/wider) of Pisces to your thinking and not dismissing it. It’s working with what you have, because essentially – you don’t want to suppress/cut one side off but see it work/develop nicely to do a relay run with both doing it’s equal parts.

Pisces Moon can also make for someone who needs time to retreat back into themselves– for their emotional state, like being at home/sleeping in order to ground themselves/recharge from their environment. Because they can expend so much of their energy on mundane/external task, being at home and being able to enjoy the simplicity/joys of life really brings them a lot of joy.

Another thing to touch on is that Aries Sun/Mercury – combine with Aquarius in his placements, he can be someone who is essentially very strong. The trouble with the overly worrying Pisces is one of the main vulnerabilities that should be addressed, because it ultimately balances this ‘strength’ with sensitivity and emotional receptivity but also enhances a fear (Pisces) of being misunderstood (Aries/Aquarius) as well.

Anyways… Aries Sun/Mercury and it’s strength. A lot of people think ‘oh Aries they HAVE to be loud and crass’ – that’s not necessarily true. Most prominent is their laid-back nature, they’re concentrated on themselves and their experience. An Aries is less judge-y on you than earth signs sometimes, because they don’t ‘measure’ things like others tend to do.

An Aries respect their personal individuality/freedom, celebrates their own strength/individuality (when it’s healthy) and thus– they celebrate yours/give you the space to do that for yourself. You rarely meet an Aries who doesn’t take personal offense to someone calling them ‘dishonest’ because it’s an attack on their personal integrity (prompt -> reactor)

None of the messy shit, Aries is more of a defensive sign than an offensive one (compared to Scorpio it’s counterpart)

‘A baby doesn’t cry out of nowhere, it’s prompted by something and that crying (complaining) is a reaction to it’ – Aries level of expression is more concentrated about reacting to the stimuli, rather than explaining the stimuli/reasoning behind it’s stressors.

It’s more of an action-y type because it shows through demonstration, and in a way a stability in themselves that they are principled and trustworthy. They don’t take kindly to others who don’t have this sense of fair-play or don’t ‘walk the way they talk the talk’ for. Bluffers in particular, has to bring their A-game in (no non-sense in a way even though they ARE silly and playful people themselves)

In a way it’s also self-discipline. In a way they trust/believe in certain things and ‘do’ something about it. Aries ARE persevering, this comes from Aries before it moves onto Taurus.

An Aries may not be patient but they are persevering, the kind where they butt their heads against the wall and if it doesn’t budge– ‘think smarter not harder’ and try something else (that motion of charging/working/finding something that ‘fits the lock’ and is ‘right’ – cardinal/fire – instinctual/decisive) before a taurus (post Aries who found the ‘right lock’ – continues to butt its head there until it gives – fixed/earth)

Aries can be great at team-work because they DO care about others, they DO show compassion and are kind to others. Most people for some reason disregard this because they don’t understand/appreciate how the Aries work (compared to Libra/Venusian signs). But it’s in the way they observe from a distance– knows when you’re down/struggling and gives you the time/space to work shit out on your own by blocking challenges/possible threats that will hinder you even more by putting themselves in the way of it for you.

They pull attention AWAY from you when you need the space/time to work through your shit, yes you can struggle but they need you to meet them halfway because they can’t solve your personal problem for you. YOU need to do it, but an Aries is there to protect, guard, shield and encourage/motivate/cheer you up if you need them by your side.

An Aries cares in the way they initiate things for you, if you’re a rather shy person they start the interaction. If you don’t want attention they pull it away from you. They care when they sit down with you to check in, giving you their concentration/attention and honesty.

An Aries cares– sometimes, in the way they physically put themselves in front of you if you don’t want to be seen (or doing things/urging you to do things that are good for you) the way they face things heads on for you and handle challenges in order for you to have more time figuring your shit out.

They care in the way they physically reassure you– a hand around your shoulder, validation, a nod, whatever you need if they can give. They won’t over-do it but they will care and accept you if you give them a chance to do so.

They’re close-minded when it comes to themselves, more ‘free-minded/open-minded’ when it comes to others. Trust in an Aries, if you need direction or some stability – they’re great people to be around because they exert more of themselves to make up for the lack of yours.

These sister signs (Libra/Aries) is about balance– an Aries will know when you’re not exerting yourself/need them to do something in order to equalize the interaction and they will do it. They’re great supporters in the team, as well as leaders if you need them to be.

But more so than that, they just want freedom to be themselves. You can’t place responsibilities on someone but give them restrictions that makes no sense (linearly) established structure or enough room to ‘bounce off the wall/make their own path’ helps a lot too.

Non-messy, simplistic. In a way that if something works in the way it’s supposed to then it will. Back to the basics, the clear simple solutions is appreciated (no nonsense) don’t play mind games unless both sides are consented/knows the rules and agreed to play.

They may enjoy stimuli and equal game-play than they realize– essentially what an Aries want is banter in a way that’s naturalized/organic and plays to the advantage of BOTH individual involved (or more if there’s more participants) – similarities to Libra but in a way that’s more observable/manifestive (fair play, fair minded, balanced in an intuitive way but you gotta bring your game/meet them half way because they can’t solve/bend themselves back for you bc thats not?? fair or healthy.)

Libra/Aries perfectionist streak when it comes to Aries is more about that perseverance strength– tenacity. Aries sets its eyes on something and then manifestation is something they do. Sometimes they can be obstinate, doesn’t listen to others because if they want it they will do it (and occasionally out of spite as well)

Personal freedom comes with a balance of privacy/private space– and this is something that is amplified by Pisces Moon as well (need to ground) – for an Aries, grounding is being active/feeling productive in what they do. It’s stimulation (fire) that feels like it’s going somewhere– moving flame, and some of the fear/frustration comes with fearing the fire will burn out if it doesn’t get enough wind/action going on. Passion is represented in the flames.

Aries may find themselves frustrated if they don’t feel like they’ve manifested/fulfilled something out– often being hard on themselves for ‘starting and not finishing’ or seeing something fulfilled (stubborn, can sometimes try to remedy/finish a goal by persistently doing it anyways even if they don’t want to anymore because they believe in principle of it instead of reasoning/listening to their own emotionality sometimes)

Besides this– Aries/Aquarius makes for someone who enjoys thrills, often times mental/visual stimulation (VR is more of a Pisces thing but the physicality of movement is Aries/Aquarius too) say someone offers an alternative route— Aries loves innovative ideas and Aquarius likes pulling it apart/the concept of it. If something’s done cleverly, within reason, in order to prove something (improve on something) then they absolutely love it.

Another thing is that they are often people who can motivate others up, a lot of vitality to them especially in terms of encouragement/refreshing energy when they are with those who doesn’t get a lot of it/is depleted.

Yes a part of him will need to be alone/by himself too but socially, he can be a very sensitive and equally reliable/dependable person because of his strength (uniqueness/skill-set – Aquarius/Aries) as well.

Likes something that’s new, thats innovative. If he feels like someone is going in a direction that’s progressive/good for them then he can be someone who encourages/support them in their path.

I think the whole spiel I did above was to highlight how ‘underdog’ traits can be apparent in Aquarius Venus/Mars placements?? Like no they don’t ask for recognition they show it/prove it, if they know what they’re talking about then they won’t hesitate to validate/prove it even more. Understated, but very efficient/dominance energy.

Also a lot of Aquarius Mars placement have powerful movements, it’s to do with their control and the energy they put into ‘feeling’ and ‘planning’ (not prior but as they go) what the ‘narrative’ is going to be.

Cohesiveness is more of the goal rather than like– a prep-planned/pre-planned idea. They like control, but it’s a control that’s more to do with themselves/what they do with their energy rather than controlling anyone else (unless they ask for advice from them)

Sun/Mercury conjunction and his overall placement does point to a lot of an avid learner personality — learning comes from experience as well as discipline/studies. There can be sense of validation for doing something ‘right’ – for being ‘objectively’ successful in terms of studying or choices because essentially that covers up for Pisces insecurity sometimes.

If you have this placement too – make sure to look that you aren’t seeking validation from others to make up for your confidence in yourself (which can lead to a lot of ‘me’ or attention-needing attitude) Even if you ARE confident in yourself to an extent, an Aries learns best when it’s perfectionist streak is broken and begins to rely more on itself, rather than subconscious dependency on material validation instead (skill-sets, valuability, social popularity, etc.)

Positive aspects from Sun to Mercury, Mars (I didn’t look at the Sun-Moon conjunct because it’s 9′ at 12.00pm) but this is very promising because it can point to a rather optimistic person publicly. Often popular because they seem to have strength, gain strength and encourage others through their sunshine attitude even when others are tired out.

If Sun/Moon conjunct at a tighter degree, it could point to someone who may be quite disciplined. Old soul but also youthful, lively but also easily settled back into a listener’s role. Self-struggle is still a thing, but there’s a more positive motion for it as well.

Sun/Jupiter-Uranus square can point to someone who may often over-expend themselves sometimes. Expansion, exaggeration. All with sincerity but they can sometimes bite off more than they can chew/do for others and thus feels the consequence/frustration with themselves later on sometimes (and don’t know why they feel that way).

Considering how his Jupiter is in Cancer and Uranus is in Capricorn – it’s more about a sense of balance and stability in himself. Sometimes giving too much to others to a point where he comes home feeling unsatisfied or analyze situation at home/his next plan of action but then getting ‘swept off by the flow’ when he goes out again.

Moon/Saturn is quite strong in his chart— pointing to the above point about being quite disciplined. His Saturn is in Capricorn, domiciled whilst his Moon is in Pisces – it can make for someone who’s quite in tune with his emotionality but can sometimes struggle to say it outwards and thus, focus more on long-term manifestation of it over time (building of bond, trust, loyalty and established connection) before he feels comfortable talking about it in the open.

It also points to a strong persevering drive to see his visions (Pisces Moon) through into reality. Sticking with it through thick and thin, his emotionality or rather ‘devotions’ aren’t something to be laughed at all because it ‘sticks’ and thus– impressions stays with him forever.

Mercury/Mars in sextile and Mercury/Uranus-Neptune in square — this points to someone who does genuinely enjoy a good banter. Even more– talking about issues/topics or in a way that makes things accessible for the normal/less elitist people so that it’s approachable.

Aries/Aquarius draws down the energy of something that COULD be complicated but is put in a way that’s understandable for everyone (can be good at explaining too) – at the same time, he may have moments where things just gets out of hand/act passively and then he’s left to deal with the consequences of things not going the way he wants it to happen/opportunities passed (Neptune aspect) which can be frustrating for the Aries to have to face (often maybe an opportunity to make it into a reality – Capricorn Neptune)

Venus and Mars square to Pluto (conjunct to each other) can point to a powerful personality, can sometimes exemplifies his Aquarian nature/trait (especially with the earlier Mercury/Uranus aspect) — again, Saturnian/Uranus nature as well.

Powerful devotion and standing power (disciplined) but at the same time they can be nit-picky, critical, moody/brooding or feels a strong need to get affirmation/confirmation that they are on the same page as the other person. If there’s a lack of movement, they may often feel the effect of this Pluto even strongly– making them doubt, get suspicious or become critical of something/someone or even themselves sometimes.

Powerful with that Venus/Mars conjunction – but at the same time, when it’s aspecting Pluto in Scorpio (domicile) the Aquarius nature may often overthink/obsess over the value/validity of certain things without getting enough reasoning/affirmation to verify/sustain it’s own over-working mind.

Alrighty I think that’s it, another thing about Aries is that they often have ‘powerful’ image or like– stand out for their eyes/eyebrows whilst Aquarius also makes them semi-aware of how they look/pose or making them look better when it’s in gif/motions than they realize.

Casie and you got along great she absolutely loved and adored you. And the two of you often had a girls day out lunch, shopping, it brought a smile to Colson's face knowing that Casie thought the word of you just like he did. The guys they thought of you like family and they were glad to see him so happy finally "It's about damn time!" Slim cheered out when you both broke the news to them. So many whoops of support, high fives, pats on the back and hugs it sort of felt like an episode of Full House. Y/N of course though may have a sweet quiet demeanor but don't let it fool you she loves smoking with Colson and the guys heck sometimes you could out smoke him like the best of them.

"Daddy are you going to ask Y/N to marry you?" Casie asking watching Colson look down at the elegant 7 carat diamond and gold engagement ring. Casie clapped and giggled jumping down off the bed bouncing out of the bedroom. You were beginning to awaken as you turned to face Colson wrapping and arm around him your other free hand rubbing his bare chest. "My babygirl stirs." He murmured kissing your head. Your eyes opened staring straight into his icy blue ones, it might be first thing in the morning but god he looked sexy. "Morning baby." Colson was going to wait till tonight and pop the big question but he couldn't take it he was to anxious to hold off any longer.

He grabbed your hand in his the ring clasped tightly in his other. "Y/N you have managed to do something I had't thought possible, love again." Placing the delicate engagement ring on your finger he asks "I love you and want to spend the rest of my life with you, Y/N will you marry me?" Smiling you kiss him "Yes" you whispered a few tears of happiness sliding down your cheek. Pulling you tightly to him Colson broke out into a huge smile, "besides I need your sexy ass to keep my wild one in line." Colson couldn't imagine you not in his life, you balanced him out kept him anchored. The sex was absolutely incredible it managed to break out a side of you that drove him wild. There was no doubt in his mind that he had managed to snag the perfect woman and he wouldn't trade that for the world.

The party inside the club was going strong, you, Colson, Slim, Rook and others were in the VIP section. You had this planned in the back of your mind all day, you slipped away undetected by Colson and headed to the stage whispering something to the MC he nodded as he pressed a few buttons as you grabbed a mic.

Colson recognized the first few bars of music instantly.

Somehow, as he watched your fingers curl around the mic, he knew you were thinking of him. From how your lips curled into that sly sexy smirk, to the rose of your cheeks, he knew. Colson felt like a voyeur now but found himself loving the buzzing and heavy feeling.

A mind hush took over the once-rowdy crowd as the tune and timbre of your voice matched and melted into the cords perfectly. The ballad poured from you with such emotion and flourish, as though singing in front of a hundred people was the easiest thing in the world for you to do. You clearly didn't need the prompter to know the words, so with your eyes closed you hit every single syllable and carried each note effortlessly. The gentle sway of your hips along with the music was magnetic and memorizing, not only to him but to nearly every other person in the club too.

With a final smirk, Y/N ended her song and the crowd burst out into a boisterous ovation. Their whole table stood and cheered loudly, joining with the other patrons in their own enthusiastic applause.

You bowed graciously, grabbed your drink from the barstool next to the mic and exited stage right. You then walked towards their table, towards Colson, with a subtle purpose and a sultry look in your eye.

Your gaze landed on Colson's lean frame, sunk casually into the bend of the booth, his leather jacket off, his white button down shirt his tattooed chest on full display. You contemplated jumping him right then and there but realized that no one really needed to see that.

Besides, you could keep your hands to yourself for one night, surely...

A drunk fleeting thought dared question how deliciously torturous it would be to spend all night next to him and not touch or kiss him. You imagined how cathartic it would be when you finally allowed yourself the pleasure. It was almost a challenge made silently unto one's self.

'How long could I really go?'

Because, God, he just looked so goddamn sexy. Colson's cool laid-back demeanour added to his enticing aesthetic, and you wondered, idly, how many others in the club had noticed his effortless allure and charisma.

Pleasantly, his posture straightened as he saw you approach and that wicked side smirk tugged at his knowingly soft lips, making your knees weak.

'I won't last the night.' You thought to yourself.

Your beaming smile was sloppy and your limbs seemed extra loose as you approached, but judging by the empty champagne, shot and highball glasses that scattered the table your swagger was just.

Y/N then slipped into the booth next to Colson, settling in close, really close, a heavy hand falling on to his thigh under the table. She planted a firm kiss to his cheek with a wide grin.

'See? I can't even last 5 seconds...I won't last the night…

As the group chatted loudly about the day's activities, Colson found himself lost within warmth radiating off her, the smell of her perfume and sweet sweat invading his senses. His eyes drifted over her exposed neck, shoulders and ample cleavage. You looked like sin personified in that dress, the fit and cut leaving nothing but filthy desires to cloud his brain as he subtly adjusted himself in his seat.

You were amazing up there, by the way." Colson said.

You spin around to face him fully, the thin strap of your dress shifting down your shoulder with the movement, "Thanks, baby."

Without thought he reached up to put the fabric back in place, cool fingertips gliding over your warm skin. The action warmed you but you tried your best to recover quickly.

'...Girl... Focus up.'

"You had them hook, line and sinker,"

"I'm just a pretty H/C up there in hot pink." You said with a flip of your wrist.

"Yea, you are, with the voice of a fucking angel."

A warm blush crept over your cheeks and chest, "Colson..."

"What? I'm serious."

"They reacted the same to Ashleigh,"

"I doubt that."

"And Kali."

"I doubt that even more."

"It's true!"

"Prove it." He challenged.

"What would you have me sing?" You asked sweetly.

Colson smirked, "Literally anything."

His lowered tone had his desired effect and as the words fell off his tongue a visible shiver rolled over you. You smirked back and sipped at your drink again, your eyes on his through thick blonde lashes.

After singing a few favourites including a cover of 'Chandelier ', then a duet with him to 'Bad Things', followed by a ballad rendition of 'Crazy', nearly consecutively, Y/N flopped back into their booth with a heavy sigh.

"Entertaining is hard work!"

"Yet another amazing performance," Colson topped up your water glass as you settled in, "-You wowed the crowd,"

A realization, if anything, it was a green light to engage in some sort of unspoken game of seducing you,

The thought alone drove him wild.

So, he kept up the silent charade, the rouse serving as an effective aphrodisiac, and was also, clearly, convincing.

"I'm not flirting." He offered gently.

"I know. You're just being your polite and charming shelf." You cooed at him.

A small smile pulled at his lips now, "What should I do?" He asked.

"Nothing."

"Nothing?"

Turning to face him more, you smirked again and cocked an eyebrow, "Well, that's not true."

As you spoke the hairs on the back of his neck stood up for the second time that night, "Oh?"

"You could find us an excuse to leave, and take me back home." You said with such a deadpan seriousness that he nearly choked on his beer.

"Bail on our engagement party?"

Y/N nodded, eyes dark and suggestive, "Just let me use the ladies room first,"

Colson didn't need to be told twice and agreed quickly as you slid out of the booth. He then stood just as you came out of the bathroom moments to grab your jacket and small purse.

"Ready?" He asked, sweeping his arm out in front of you and towards the doors.

"Very."

YUANFEN FEST ROUND 1: REVEALS + FINAL NOTES

The Baeksoo party has finally come to an end but don't you worry, the fun is not yet over because there are still lovely fics for you to catch up with and come back to :> That being said, we want to thank everyone from the bottom of our hearts for supporting us and participating in this fest, may you be a prompter, writer, or reader! This fest wouldn't have been possible in the first place if not for you. We would give the spotlight now to our writers as we unveil who they are but before anything else, here are some words from our mods:

MOD MOCHI

Somehow, It only feels like yesterday when two of my fellow Baeksooies came into my DMs and told me about the apparent lack of Baeksoo fics in the EXO ficdom. I vividly all the times we complained because we’re craving for more until finally, we decided to simply take a leap of faith and create our own Baeksoo-centric fic ourselves. It was the epitome of a “Fuck, I’ll do it myself” situation because we knew our complaints would reach nothing if we don’t do our part in helping resolve the situation.

A week after, we decided to meet up and discuss this concept further in person. Believe it or not, I actually made a presentation/pitch deck about the fest, featuring a complete list of our objectives, content execution, and promotional strategy. We wanted to treat it as a passion project, as our little baby we would nurture months later on because aside from bringing new Baeksoo fanworks, we wanted to help bring the ‘community’ together.

Fast-forward to six months later and here we are now. It hasn’t been an easy journey for anyone, but it’s what makes this whole thing worth it because despite the difficulties that came along the way, you guys stuck by our side ‘til the end. And for that, we couldn’t be any more thankful.

To our prompters: thank you for your creativity and enthusiasm in participating in this fest. You all gave our writers gems to work with; this fest wouldn’t have been able to move forward if not for your participation.

To our very talented writers: thank you so, so much for sharing your talents with all of us. We know writing fic isn’t that easy especially when you’re bounded by deadlines (+ real life responsibilities) but you guys pulled through and made it! I hope you are all as proud of your works as much as we are. It is very interesting to see Baeksoo and the extension of their dynamics through a different set of eyes in every fic that was submitted to this fest, but the feeling of joy that each one gives is all the same. Thank you for making us fall in love with this pairing a hundred times and more, all over again.

To our beta readers: thank you for your hard work too. I cannot stress enough how important it is to have a second set of eyes that could review your work for feedback. Thank you for working closely with our writers and holding their hand; I want you to know that you guys also play a very important role in the creative process of making a fic.

Below is the list of prompts submitted to @holidaysat221b. Where possible, we have tagged the submitter so that credit can be given if a prompt inspires someone to write a fic or create a piece of art.

Some submissions were specifically labeled as Art prompts, and they have been separated into their own category. However, if you are a fic writer and one of the art prompts calls to you, go for it. Likewise, if one of the other prompts makes you want to draw, have fun with it! Prompts that have been filled at least once will be followed with an *, in case that influences your decision to work with one.

We only ask three things:

Sherlock: A TV series featuring a hot guy with awesome deductive skills, his best friend the doctor, the exasperated detective inspector, the sweet landlady, and the pathologist. And no, the pathologist isn’t in love with the hot guy. - The Silent Fangirl

A post TRF fic, where Sherlock takes Molly with him, but they return to London a couple years later than in canon because Molly got pregnant along the way (or even twice), so now they are three/four of them instead of two? - @mychakk

“We had chips. She liked me.” – Sherlock in TLD. What could have been had he and Molly gotten chips in TEH: A kick to Tom’s butt. Happy greeting (a hug at least!) at the end of TEH. Quite a lot of sex with Sherlock instead of Tom. Molly the best man’s date. A (sophisticated. Or not) Molly/Janine cat fight for Janine hitting on SH moments. Dancing, so much Sherlolly dancing (and no leaving early). Probably no Shezza (Shezzer?)—which, hmm, is a shame (But maybe they’ve their own not-being-on-a-sex-holiday-but-sexing-a-lot time). A real proposal to Molly. Molly at family Christmas, maybe even a Christmas wedding. Solving CAM without the threat of exile sharpens Sherlock’s deductive abilities. No Norbury as Molly’s already expecting their first offspring, so Sherlock doesn’t taunt needlessly. Mary as the Sherlolly baby godmother as she’s alive! Culverton Smith is taken down by the duo of Mary and Molly while the latter gives birth there (because the ladies are awesome, plus Mrs H tackles him down). John is so impressed he doesn’t look at any other women. Molly’s big heart brings Eurus from her metaphoric plane the moment she steps into 221B, plus baby Holmes wins her heart too. The Holmes family reconciliation and Eurus is in therapy instead of being a multi-killer. Baker Street Boys Team continues while Baker Street Girls Team gives them a run for their money. Mycroft asks Lady Smallwood out himself to her astonishment and internal squealing. Mummy Holmes gets more grandkids than she could’ve imagined. And basically, everyone walks happily into the sunset. The End. Please note, some things can obviously be modified. - @mychakk *

AU: Molly runs away from home when her parents try to arrange a marriage for her. She wants to pursue a life that involves science and marry for love if she ever gets married at all. She meets Sherlock, who is being pressured by his family to marry a nice girl they found for him who loves science as much as he does. AU. Instead of dying, Mary actually does hide from Sherlock and John effectively and they don’t find her. Still wracked by guilt and worried he’ll never see her again, John still imagines her in his mind and Sherlock still goes after Culverton Smith … possibly both to save John and because maybe Smith knows something about where Mary went? To solve the mystery and bring Mary home, Sherlock and Molly team up. - @rooneykmara

Uni!lock Sally wakes Molly at 2 am because her junkie boyfriend of dorm 221b is streaking across campus calling her name, so she better stop denying that she’s his girlfriend. - @escaily

To cover her butt during New Year's Eurus lies and tells mummy that Sherlock has a wife, and Mycroft borrows her 'Sherlock's wife' excuse whenever he wants to avoid sticky topics during holidays. The lie gets bigger the more Sherlock avoids family meetings. Until December when Sherlock finds out he's married to a forensic (E), sex addicted(E), petite (E), intelligent (M), very forgiving (M) paragon of virtue (M). Now he needs to find a stranger that fits the description before Christmas. - @escaily

Rock Royalty AU. That AU in which Mary drags Molly into an edgy rock concert of her favorite band “Baker Street Boys” even though everybody and their mother knows that indie acoustics and hippie music is Molly’s thing. Enter Sherlock Holmes lead band member, (the type of Rock Star that sings ‘Wanted Dead or Alive’ while high as a kite) famous for his electric violin solos, addict past and cold attitude. He tries deducing the girl less likely to throw herself at him out of all the fans and finding that one concert goer who doesn’t get turned on by his music. Turns out that Molly the ‘I-said-I’m-not-a-groupie’ pathologist in training is actually an interesting girl when she’s not covering her ears, even if Sherlock needs to educate her on the finger points of violin appreciation. Basically a fic where the Rockstar wants to turn this hater into a fan but actually ends up falling for her instead. - @escaily

Crossovers/Works set in or inspired by another specific fictional universe (ie Potter!lock)

I’d really like to see a Daemon (from the His Dark Materials books by Philip Pullman) version of Series 3/TAB/Series 4 (any or all of those), especially when it comes to the ILY scene. - Kay

They take her captive, intending to blackmail Sherlock or hold Molly for ransom; but Molly Hooper is having none of that nonsense. While Sherlock works to save her, Molly finds ways to torment, injure, and outwit her captors. Whether she escapes on her own, finds a way to let Sherlock and John know where she’s at, or ends up driving her kidnappers crazy to the point that they give up and send her back is up to the author. Clique/Sherlock Crossover - After the events of TFP, Molly Hooper (who is actually Jude McDermid) decides to go back to Edinburgh, broken-hearted & bound to continue the “family business” after years of running away from it. Gone is her long hair & colorful jumpers: she completely changed her look & have every information about Molly Hooper destroyed. Years passed, she forms the Solasta Women’s Initiative, much to her brother’s delight, until a horrific event brings Sherlock Holmes back into her world again. It’s more of a Sherlolly/Judelock mash-up where Sherlock wants to know why she left, who she really is, & how he’s still madly in love with her. Molly/Jude is more like she’s finally embracing the life she thought she never wanted, until she realizes that she can never forget the love she has for Sherlock. Can she be Jude & love him as well? Can Sherlock accept her true reality, or does he only love her as Molly & not Jude. Throw in a nice mystery/thriller plot too! Oh yeah Mycroft, who knew Molly is Jude from the beginning but decided to let Sherlock figure it out on his own, is determined to stop this union at all cost. Pls include all the girls & guys in Clique, especially Holly since she’s a badass off to take down Jude and her “girls” no matter what! Hi! It’s me, Dee! It’s been a while after my last post about Snob’s comics (well I only do translation these days lol my bad ability to make gif doesn’t allow me to update other things in here) and now I am back to share my experience watching Shinhwa’s concert again!

It will be a long post and a lot of pictures inside, so bear it!

To be honest, I was hesitant to go to Taipei’s concert because the venue still in Nangang Exhibition Center. When I went there on 2015 for Shinhwa’s concert too, the seating plan was too bad (no raised seats) so it’s hard to see them clearly. And the sound system was quite awful for me, I cannot hear their voice clearly because of the echo and sometimes the music sound was harder than their voice (I want to hear Hyesung’s and Dongwan’s high note come on)

But well, Shinhwa has too much attractive points after that. And yes, I am willing to rip my wallet for them.

The stage plan and seating plan were surprised me to be honest since on 2015, there was no long extension stage like that. So I guess there will be more interactions between fans and Shinhwa? (i will tell you about this later)

And this organizer worked harder and better than before (it’s different organizer, named No Fear). They gave some benefits for every people who will buy the ticket. Like for VIP ticket owners, they will get T-Shirt, poster, VIP pass (it’s only a card after it), photo cards, and orange (literally orange lol with the sticker of shinhwa’s unchanging concert logo this time).

I don’t have that much money to get VIP so I chose to buy B area which was quite close to the extension stage. However, getting a good place in B area was not easy too. After a lot of attempts on the ticketing day, I didn’t get the seat that I want. But my friend got one for me in B2 area with a good place, so well, HERE I AM FOR SHINHWA’S CONCERT.

I will skip everything about my accomodation and visa thing, since that’s not really important hehe. But if you want to ask, you can tweet me!

I arrived at Taipei on Feb 3rd, 22:35. I took a bus to Taipei Main Station and walked to my hotel, finished to clean up everything before going to bed on Feb 4th 1 AM. I was literally dying inside when I woke up, too tired to do everything. But hey, I need to get up and meet oppas, right?

After planning to meet my friends at 10 AM on Taipei Main Station, I cleaned myself up and walked to the nearest Family Mart to print my ticket (and buy my breakfast there, I miss Family Mart’s rice ball so much!) and I walked to Taipei Main Station to meet my friends.

It was the first time for me to meet them basically. We usually chat each other only on KKT and we finally met in Shinhwa concert! Always feel nice to meet new friends in concert time hehe.

We arrived at Nangang Exhibition Hall on 11:30? We tried to arrive earlier than before to line up for merchandise (starting on 12 PM) but well others started first lol. When we arrived there, there was a looooong line already with weird state (4 short lines and 1 freaking long line). I looked around to ask someone about merchandise when someone saw me and said I need to go to the end of long line to queue for merchandise.

Damn. Really really long tho.

After the door opened at 12 PM for merchandise, we were lining up to get in and ended to go to the 4th floor to buy the merchandise. The merchandise shop was on the front of venue’s gate so when we were queuing, we can hear the sounds from inside of venue. I can see the flower wreaths from some fansites such as ShinhwaTW. The staffs also were putting the gift boxes in front of the venue’s gate with cute sticker for each member on each box. I can see the sincerity of them working for this concert.

2 hours waiting and standing in the line to get Shinhwa’s merchandises. I bought two, a bag and T-Shirt for my friend who can’t go to Shinhwa’s concert this time (she went with me on 2015).

Too tired of standing and queuing, we looked for some place to sit and eat. We ended sitting on a German cafe in Nangang Exhibition Hall, eating and talking to each other before going to the concert.

5 PM. 1 hour before the concert. I can hear the staff’s voice screaming to let us know it’s the time for us to enter the venue. We went to the toilet first (arrived at MRT’s toilet at the end lol others were too full) and we walked inside of the venue at the end.

This was my view from my seat. Quite close to extension stage indeed.

The concert should be started at 18:00 PM local time but I knew they will be late lol. After around 10 minutes late, the light went out, and the fanchant, “Shinhwa San!” started.

They started with Opening VCR, with organizers logo and name inside of it. First thought was the organizer made this but well, they might use it for every concert after this I think hehe.

And the concert began!

They showed up from behind of the opening LED screen, and the aura that they had was no joke. I screamed so hard that time and kept saying, “OMO OMO OTTOKE” like a crazy ahjumma and they started the concert with singing Brand New.

First Ment

After singing three songs, they started the first ment on the main stage. Eric opened the ment with a hope that we will have fun until the end while Junjin said his ment with Chinese (full if I remember it correctly). Even though he read the prompter, he did it quite smooth.

Hyesung did his ment after, reading the prompter so obvious and at the end he tried to say his ment in English (Steve Jung, everyone!). It was not complete English tho haha he just said, “Hi, Taiwan orange. Hello Taiwan orange. You are so beautiful, Taiwan orange. Junjin is beautiful too. Thank you.”

Minwoo did his short ment in Chinese and Dongwan too. Dongwan said “your thought and my thought is same” in Chinese as the end of his ment, made everyone laughing since he said it already for three times (three concerts, 2012, 2015, and 2017).

Andy was the last, asking people to be ready for the next song. And the lights went off once again, signalling the next show will start.

She Said, Acquainted Man, Young Gunz, and Orange. For Orange, they went to the extension stage in the middle, having some interactions to other fans. Dongwan kept flapping his hands like wanting to fly and I can see Minwoo played with Hyesung, Eric, and Andy, tried to show their skin slightly lol. Dongwan hugged Hyesung too low, and after that he said “sorry” in Chinese to Hyesung afraid to get hit. But since both of them stood close to my area, I can see Hyesung’s happy face and he said, “It’s okay, what’s wrong?” and he hugged Dongwan at the end.

Ah, in Orange, we had an event holding the banner.

VCR 1

It was similar to Dec concert, the teaser for their new variety show in February (V+).

Next song was Wild Eyes and gdi Dongwan killed me so hard in this song. The camera loved him so much and his expression showed a lot on the big screen in front of me. I can’t capture anything about his expression since I died a little that time.

Ment 2

Minwoo asked about how their performance was (Wild Eyes, and other songs). He said they started Wild Eyes a bit late, because the staff asked them not to come out first (but the lights turned on already). However everyone said it’s good, and suddenly Junjin mentioned about the Wild Eyes performance that they had on Weekly Idol (2x speed dance). He spoke his opinion how it turned to be better than others expected when suddenly fans yelled to show it again on the stage. Junjin was flustered, and Minwoo suddenly said “VCR!” with Junjin following behind. Fans booed, and Junjin reacted so funny, “If you all want us to show it again now, we won’t be able to sing next songs.” LOL

Next song after Ment 2 was Stay. Hyesung danced it with Eric, seems like it will be a tradition for them on Stay performance (?). For How Do I Say, they walked around to interact with fans while Hyesung started the thrusting dance following the beat, others followed him too at the end -_-

And started from How Do I Say, I saw Dongwan throwing water a lot to the mosh area XD the fans screamed but it’s mostly because he threw the water not because he came to their side lmao

VCR 2

This one was about behind the scene of their promotions. They added MV, Promotion, Fansigns and Concert behind the scene from Dec VCR which showed us more cute sides of Shinhwa :)

After VCR, they sang ballad songs, Heaven and Like A Star. It was really beautiful, the lighting, their voice, everything was just so good. Indeed, Shinhwa is good in ballad.

Ment 3

Ending ment. Everyone were standing beside each other and said their last words. They reminded all that they still have Busan and Daegu concert, with Seoul Encore in their plan. They were feeling so thankful for fans who came to their concert and Dongwan mentioned how Taiwanese sweet potato tasted good (he ate it before, did FB live for it?) But Minwoo said Taiwanese chicken cutlet is more delicious and he mentioned how it’s chicken and pie just because the Chinese pronunciation sounds like chicken pie.

After Ending Ment, they sang Touch, Sniper, and TOP as the last song before encore.

ENCORE

Can’t say anything for their encore. It was superb like always~ They mostly performed in the extension area near my place and the staffs allowed us at the end to move and get closer to the stage.

as you can see, we had another event to raise the balloon on the concert.

After Shooting Star rock version, Venus rock version, and Yo!, they ended the concert with each ment once again. the most interesting part for this part was when Hyesung translated Junjin’s last ment in English. Like... all of them are wrong. lol “Korean fans, Taiwan fans, came came together, good”. Well up to him, he still looks good after that silly thing lmao.

Hyesung also said his ment with “Hi, Taiwan orange. Hello Taiwan orange, I Love Taiwan orange. Thank you Taiwan orange” something like that. And Eric who was at the last in order parroted Hyesung before they did their last signature pose and went out from the stage.

ERIC’S BIRTHDAY EVENT!

To celebrate Eric’s birthday, the fansites who organized it wrote the information on the back of slogan, saying we need to sing the happy birthday song in three languages (Korean, English, and Chinese) on the encore part. But when they did the encore talk, NO ONE SANG THE SONG. I was singing so hard till my lung hurt so much, but they still went out from the stage, leaving the stage without any notice to our song. But fans didn’t move at all, tried to sing harder and asked Eric to come out.

After screaming his name and singing the song for almost 10 minutes, they finally came out again!

I forgot who said it, but I think it’s Junjin? “Why don’t you go back everyone? The concert ended already.” and the fans started to sing again in random order. They tried to understand the situation and slowly Minwoo grabbed the situation and said, “Ah, Eric’s birthday.”

They went to the center of extension stages and Eric sat in the middle. Minwoo asked us to sing once again and we sang the song once again to him. Eric said thank you for it, and he joked how he didn’t get any birthday cake from us. It made a fan throwing a birthday cake hat to the stage and Dongwan grabbed it, asked Eric to blow the candle and make a wish.

Andy asked Eric what he want to get and to do in this birthday. He said he didn’t think about that much, when suddenly fans screamed “KISS KISS” to them. Eric was flustered, and they asked, “From who?”

Well, like others guessed. We screamed for Hyesung. But Eric mouthed Andy’s name which made Andy kissed Eric on his lips (not directly, he put his thumb before kissing Eric’s lips). After that, we kept screaming for Hyesung. But Eric said, “If I don’t want to get from him, I can reject it, right?” After that Eric asked Junjin to kiss him and Junjin licked Eric’s cheek at the end.

It was an amazing moment with them indeed. Eric mentioned about iPhone 7 as his birthday gift that day, and he said thank you for it. They stood up after that, signaling it was the real end for their concert. Before they went back to the backstage, Eric said let’s have a big bow to fans since it’s still on Chinese New Year vibe.

And the concert ended around 9 PM. 3 hours?

Last Comments

I watched their concert for two years already, 2015 and 2017 in the same place, Nangang Exhibition Hall. So I think there are positive sides and bad sides for this year’s concert. For me, it’s more in positive one?

1. The sound system

If I compare it to 2015, this year’s concert has better sound system for me. Even I was quite far from the main stage, not like on 2015, I can still listen their voice clearly (not with echo or loud music). But yes, some of mics were turned on late so I cannot hear some members voice at some point.

2. The arrangement

Better than 2015 for sure. The organizer had a lot of events to get a lot of audiences, which made it succeed than 2015. VIP events, door prize things, and even the official merchandise. It was good, even though they were quite rude to respond fans who might be new for Shinhwa’s concert.

3. The audience

Damn. I really want to talk about this. I am disappointed with 2017′s audience. After 2015 concert, I was soooo tired and freaking lost my voice. The vibe was very high, and I can feel Shinhwa really enjoyed it until the concert ended 3,5 hours. Fans shouted the fanchants, even when they didn’t know how to do the fanchant, they sang along which made Shinhwa’s voice cannot be heard clearly.

But on this year, the audience was... too silent. Even until Minwoo kept screaming and asking us to give them some noise. Not many people sang along with Shinhwa, which made them getting an empty noise and no response a lot of time. It was so upsetting looking that to be honest.

I guessed it’s because too many new fans coming for this year concert. The scream was so loud for Eric, but not for other members. Well, maybe new Eric fans because of OHYA and 3MAD?

However if you want to watch their concert, can you give more effort to learn their songs first? It is better to do that I think, so you can sing along and enjoy the concert more than others.

And that’s it. My second experience for watching Shinhwa’s concert! I promise to myself will watch 20th anniversary concert in Seoul so let’s save money more and work harder than before!

Super Bowl Ads Were Short This Year: Here’s Why That Worked

Each year, it seems like most of the Super Bowl is consumed by ads. But this year, when the Super Bowl ended before 10:30 PM EST, some big-game party-goers wondered, “Were there fewer ads this year?”

In reality, the game ended at a decent hour because the Kansas City Chiefs smoothly took down the San Francisco 49ers without entering overtime. Additionally, with over 50 commercials, this year’s Super Bowl aired more ads than the 2019 game — which only hosted 42 ads.

However, in recent years, ads of 30-seconds or less have become the norm. So, although there were more ads this year, many of them were on the extremely-short side. This isn’t shocking. Each year, Super Bowl ad slots get more and more expensive. This year, advertisers paid $5.6 million for 30-second slots. This increased from roughly $5.1 million in 2019. Although keeping an ad under half a minute obviously saved companies millions of dollars, this time limit posed unique challenges for brands that purchased shorter slots. To be considered successful, these short ads would need to grab attention from audiences in 30 seconds or less. These brands also had to create content that would memorably stand out in a chaotic stream of other insanely high-priced ads. If you’re a video marketer, you’ve probably had to deal with similar time-crunches when creating content on a smaller scale. For example, when it comes to in-stream or digital video advertising, the shorter your video is, the cheaper it will be. Even if you’re highly skilled in creating videos that are 30-seconds or less, you might also worry about the research-backed fact that the average viewer only pays attention to online content for eight to 12 seconds. This year, while many brands that bought Super Bowl ad slots of 30 seconds or less relied on quick celebrity cameos, extreme stunts, nonsensical humor, and insanely expensive special effects to grab attention, some companies actually delivered bite-sized commercials that boosted brand awareness with clever, informative, or incredibly memorable storylines. So, how did they do it? To help inspire you as you build a short-form video advertising strategy, here’s a list of some of the best 2020 Super Bowl ads that were 30-seconds or less. 7 Effective Super Bowl Ads That Were 30 Seconds or Less 1. Hulu: “Tom Brady’s Big Announcement” In a classic example of newsjacking, Hulu enlisted the help of the New England Patriots Quarterback Tom Brady, to highlight some of the platform’s newest features. Aside from presenting the benefits of a Hulu subscription, the commercial also aims to intrigue viewers who wonder, “Will Tom Brady return to the Patriots next season?” Since Tom Brady and the Patriots lost the playoffs, rumors have swirled about whether or not the long-time quarterback would return to the team now that his contract is up. Some have also suggested that Brady, one of the oldest NFL quarterbacks ever, would soon retire. Although Brady doesn’t give any specific announcements about his future in the Hulu ad, he gives a speech that makes viewers suspect that he will be returning to the NFL in some way next season. The commercial begins with Brady somberly walking on to a dark football field to the sad musical overlay of the piano. “They say all good things must come to end, so to my teammates, my family, and my friends — you deserve to hear this from me,” a narration says as you begin to think Brady will announce something important having to do with his career. Suddenly, the music shifts to a peppy hip-hop style as Brady shockingly says, “Hulu doesn’t just have sports.” “According to the script they just gave me, Hulu has your favorite cable channels, plus the greatest shows, movies, and originals of all time. So it’s time to say goodbye to TV as you know it,” he adds. Just when you think that this is just a Hulu commercial, Brady looks at the camera and says, “But me? I’m not going anywhere.”

This is a great example of how Hulu leverages a news topic that rumors had been swirling around. Although Hulu didn’t have Brady make a specific announcement, the brand reinvigorates the questions and excitement around the news topic while still highlighting its product’s best features. 2. Mountain Dew: “As Good As The Original?” While Hulu’s ad leverages news topics, Mountain Dew’s Super Bowl ad plays up nostalgia with a 30-second comedic spoof of the 1980 horror film, The Shining. In the spoof, Breaking Bad’s Bryan Cranston plays the crazed character Jack, a role famously held by Jack Nicholson. Meanwhile, Tracee Ellis Ross of Black-ish plays Jack’s terrified wife. In the scene which is spoofed, Jack walks down a hallway into a bedroom looking for his wife while armed with an ax. He then creepily approaches an ensuite bathroom that his wife’s hiding in, pleasantly knocks on the door, then smashes a hole in the wood. He iconically sticks his face through the hole, stares at his wife with crazy eyes, and says, “Here’s Johnny!” In the spoof, Bryan Cranston walks towards the bathroom door and says, “Come out, come out wherever you are, I’ve got Mountain Dew Zero Sugar, with the same refreshing taste as the original.” As Cranston smashes the door, you see an overdramatic Tracee Ellis Ross screaming in the bathroom as Cranston looks at her and says, “Here’s Mountain Dew Zero!” Ellis Ross suddenly stops screaming, grabs the drink, and says, “Well, I am thirsty.” The commercial ends with text saying, “As good as the original. Maybe even better?”

This commercial is a great use of how brands can leverage metaphors and nostalgia to tell the story of their products. Both the spoof and Mountain Dew Zero aim to be “As good as the original.” This type of ad shows a skeptic viewer that a new product or brand extension is as good or better than a product they’ve come to know and love, similarly to how they appreciate a classic horror film. 3. Olay: “#MakeSpaceForWomen” Olay used it’s 30-second time slot to tell a space-themed story aimed at empowering women and poking fun at today’s outdated gender stereotypes. The commercial, which depicts three women known for their achievements, views on equality, and activism suiting up to go to space. On the spaceship for, “Mission Make Space for Women,” sits comedian and A Little Late with Lilly Singh host Lily Singh, best-selling author and former Busy Tonight host Busy Philipps, and retired astronaut Nicole Stott. Meanwhile, Taraji P. Henson, star of the NASA biopic Hidden Figures, monitors the flight from Mission Control. Although the commercial is peppy and empowering, it begins by acknowledging how the news still discusses female success in an outdated way. The ad opens with award-winning journalist Katie Couric reading, “Is there enough space for women in space?” off of a prompter. She then turns to the camera crew and says, “Who wrote that? Are people still asking that question?” As MIssion Make Space for Women lifts off, Henson says, “When we make space for women, we make space for everyone.” From the spaceship, Singh and Philipps announce that for each tweet with the hashtag #MakeSpaceForWomen, Olay will donate $1 to Girls Who Code, a non-profit that aims to empower women in STEM.

When a company, like Olay, targets an audience of a certain gender or demographic, creating ad content and philanthropic campaigns that empower the demographic adds credibility behind the company’s mission. While some viewers might have just known Olay as a women’s skincare line, they might watch this ad and recognize that the company cares about and wants to empower its female customers. If your brand’s target audience includes subgroups or genders that could be under or misrepresented, take a note from Olay, and identify inclusive marketing strategies that acknowledge your audience’s strengths and unique qualities. Not only will this give viewers the idea that you care about your customers, but it will also help people in different groups relate more emotionally to your content. 4. Cheetos: “MC Hammer: Where it All Began” Like Mountain Dew, Cheetos also plays up nostalgia in its short and sweet Super Bowl ad. But, instead of mimicking something that already happened, Cheetos interjected its product into an unseen moment in pop culture history. How did Cheetos do this? In the ad, MC Hammer gets the idea for the “U Can’t Touch This” melody while eating a handful of Cheetos. He starts humming it, reaches out to play it on piano, sees the cheesy Cheeto crumbs all over his fingers, and simply says, “Wait. I can’t touch this.” Suddenly, he gasps and his eyes open wide with inspiration as he’s stumbled upon the chorus to his now-iconic song, “U Can’t Touch This.”

Yes. Recreating MC Hammer’s life will be impossible without the budget to hire the artist himself. But, aside from the great celebrity cameo more brilliantly tells a short fictional story. Storytelling is a great tactic that allows your viewer to get intrigued and engaged by memorable content. While you probably can’t afford to tell a story with a celebrity star in it, take a note from Cheetos and use your content to tell an interesting story that centers around your product. WeatherTech: “Lucky Dog” As surprising as this sound, an advertisement doesn’t always need to discuss exactly what your product does. In fact, you can use your prized slot to tell a story about something your company, brand, or leadership is passionate about. While this type of ad won’t highlight your product directly, it shows audiences another side of your company and makes your brand look like it’s run by actual humans, rather than emotionless executives fueled by power or money. One great example of this strategy was the below ad from WeatherTech.

After the CEO of WeatherTech’s dog was diagnosed and treated for a near-lethal form of cancer, WeatherTech used its Super Bowl slot to highlight the University of Wisconsin Veterinary Hospital, the organization that saved the dog. The commercial, which is narrated from the perspective of the dog is incredibly heartwarming and makes both the organization and WeatherTech look like companies that care about their clients. “Hi. I’m Scout, and I’m a lucky dog. It’s not because I have this big stick or because I was on the WeatherTech Super Bowl commercial last year. It’s because I beat cancer,” says the dog at the opening of the commercial. “I’m alive thanks to cutting edge technology at the University of Wisconsin’s Veterinary School of Medicine. As the ad ends, it shows a video clip of Scout frolicking on the beach as another narrator concludes with, “Pets make a difference in our lives. You can make a difference in theirs. Donate now at WeatherTech.com/donate.” 6. Pop-Tarts Fixes the Pretzel Commercial While most of the ads on this list tell a narrative story, Pop-Tarts’ aired an ad that humorously overemphasizes aspects of traditional TV commercials. This goofy ad spoof was positions their new Pretzel Pop-Tart as an innovation to traditional pretzels. To add over-embellishments, Pop-Tarts enlisted Queer Eye’s outgoing stylist Johnathan Van Ness to host the commercial. Like traditional infomercials, the ad highlights a pain point and shows how the new Pretzel Pop-Tart serves as a solution — but in an incredibly eccentric way. The commercial opens in black and white as a woman struggles to eat ginormous pretzels. Van Ness begins a narration that asks, “Are you tired of your pretzels not being Pop-Tarts Toaster Pastries? Are you strugs [struggling] to snack?” The commercial shifts from black and white to color as Van Ness appears on screen to help the woman who’s struggling to eat pretzels. He says, “Pop-Tarts fixed that for you,” in reference to her pretzel dilemma. Then, he starts highlighting the new Pop-Tarts Pretzel flavor.

Although every Super Bowl is filled with innovative ads that aim to be memorable with a deep storyline, Pop-Tarts chose to be unique by revitalizing a traditional ad style. With this goofy Pop-Tarts commercial, the brand demonstrates that it can’t hurt to still leverage the traditional “problem/solution” ad format — as long as the content is still interesting, humorous, or eye-catching to viewers. 7. Planters: “Baby Nut” When it came to Planters, the nut brand decided to attract attention with a bizarre two-part series of 30-second ads that culminated during the Super Bowl. In the first ad, which circulated days before the sporting event, Planters’ 104-year-old top-hatted mascot — Mr. Peanut — finds himself hanging off a cliff branch with two men. The men fight over who will let go to save Mr. Peanut. But, Mr. Peanut shockingly and heroically jumps off the branch to save them. He falls to his death and explodes on impact.

Odd right? The ad series only got weirder. In the Super Bowl commercial, friends of Mr. Peanut cry as he’s buried during a funeral. As the Kool-Aid Man sheds tears over the grave, the dirt pile turns into plants as a reincarnated “Baby Nut” emerges in a tophat. With the same grown man’s voice as Mr. Peanut, Baby Nut says, “I’m back,” before asking for his monocle.

This is pretty bizarre, but the commercial isn’t that far off from rebranding trends we’ve seen recently in the media. For example, bloggers have called Baby Nut a “Baby Yoda rip off,” referencing how The Mandalorian revamped the Star Wars franchise when one character discovered “The Child” — a baby member of Yoda’s species. While the Baby Nut announcement did gain some online scrutiny, the commercial is still effective because its bizarreness makes it memorable. Even though some criticized the ad, many viewers enjoyed the weirdness. In fact, some publications report that it “divided” social media. Ultimately, when we look back on past Super Bowl ads, we won’t just remember the ads that followed a standard format or fit into a narrative norm. We’ll also remember the weirder ads and the brands that created them. How to Capture Viewers in 30-Seconds or Less Drawing attention from audiences in just seconds might seem like a daunting task, but the brands above have proven that it certainly is possible. And, although you can’t put all your ad dollars into special effects and celebrity cameos, there are scalable strategies that you can learn from. Here are just a few: Make a statement: WeatherTech and Olay used their ad slots to discuss causes that their brands were passionate about. This makes your brand look more relatable and like it cares about its customers. Don’t be afraid of traditional formats: As Pop-Tarts showed us, there’s no harm in creating a traditional ad format that shows a problem and how your product can solve it. Embrace emotions: Whether it’s laughter, empowerment, or even confusion, ensure that your content leaves viewers with some sort of feelings. This will help them connect more emotionally to your content, product, and brand. NEW – To cover her butt during New Year's Eurus lies and tells mummy that Sherlock has a wife, and Mycroft borrows her 'Sherlock's wife' excuse whenever he wants to avoid sticky topics during holidays. The lie gets bigger the more Sherlock avoids family meetings. Until December when Sherlock finds out he's married to a forensic (E), sex addicted(E), petite (E), intelligent (M), very forgiving (M) paragon of virtue (M). Now he needs to find a stranger that fits the description before Christmas. - @escaily

He ends up calling on Molly to come help. Since he’s already established as an unmarried man, his ‘sister’ (or other family member) arrives for a visit. Cue living in the same house while hot for each other type shenanigans while pretending to be siblings under the watchful eye of some suspicious townspeople. - Anonymous

Molly in labor. After watching Mary in labor in TST, I kinda wanna see a funny take on Molly giving birth to her and Sherlock’s child. Maybe something like Molly being in pain, she wishes out loud she’d never had sex with Sherlock, while Sherlock logically points out how well they emotionally and biologically fit together. - Anonymous

Fluff. Molly has been hospitalized for whatever reason. She decides that she is feeling better and just wants to go home. However, the hospital does not want to release her yet. So Molly decides to leave AMA (against medical advice). She feels she can recover at home just as well and also she is eager to get back to work. Besides, who is going to know? She’s shocked to find that someone called Sherlolly4vr74 has been writing fic about her and Sherlock, and they seem to have a dedicated fan base. Some of the stories are very sweet and romantic, some of them are hot enough to give her NSFW ideas. Who is Sherlolly4vr74 (Is it Anderson? Mrs Hudson? Mary? John? I bet it’s John.) and is Sherlock aware of the stories? - @darnedchild *

Eurus has been known to put on a persona and disguise to get close to people for information – she was Faith for Sherlock, E and the psychiatrist for John. What if she had also spent some time around Molly prior to the events at Sherrinford? What information would she have gleaned about her brother and his pathologist? - @darnedchild

Can they be R rated. Because I feel Sherlock would not muck about, with telling Molly what he would like to do to her, he would not use cute little names for all her female parts and would go into great detail, like all his cases. She would be his very serious case. Yes he would most defiantly do a lot of research on pleasing her. Write it however you are most comfortable with. - @oliverfel4

Mary as matchmaker. At John and Mary’s wedding, Mary feels a little sad when they leave him alone to go dance (“What about you?”). She decides to make it her mission to help Sherlock find a girl so he’s not alone anymore. And this former agent has no trouble figuring out the potential between Sherlock and a certain Molly Hooper … (Up to you whether or not you want to throw in a Janine segue before she decides to set him up with Molly. Sherlock moves in with Molly and begins perusing her book collection, picking up random books that have interesting looking covers, and the next thing Molly knows he’s turned into a fantasy buff. - @penaltywaltz *

Non-established Sherlolly. Sherlock gets a hold of Molly’s phone one afternoon and can’t resist snooping. He’s surprised to see a folder in her photo gallery marked “Special” and it’s all photos of him. - @penaltywaltz

Have you had sex? – After Euros asked that I somehow thought “Molly??” (as Sherlock says, Irene only texts him, he doesn’t reply). Later it seems that Euros is the only one who ever has noticed that Molly causes some emotions in him. So my theory is that something happened between Molly and Sherlock, it happened pretty recently, somehow (stressful night and they talked or they had some drinks and somehow one thing led to another) they ended up having sex; but Sherlock wasn’t good at dealing with it after or something urgent came along and he didn’t really consider Molly’s emotions, he ran off right after or in the morning, and that could be the reason why Molly didn’t pick up the phone first and was in a bad mood during the “ILY scene”. What happened between them recently is the reason why Molly is a bit rude to Sherlock when he calls, and the reason why she gets so emotional and raw so easily over the I Love You thing, and why she so easily tells him to say it first. Well, then when Sherlock says “I love you” he finally realizes fully that he really does love her too, and that he is capable of loving that way, and finally sees how easy it could be and what he could lose. Then after this whole thing he goes to talk to Molly and explain things to her. - @lullikiish

Complete me as a person. — Scene that popped into my mind. Irene has been texting Sherlock again, Sherlock in the end almost agrees to meet her for dinner, but as he’s walking out of his flat while Molly is there looking after Rosie he sees Molly in kind of slo-mo in the golden evening sun holding Rosie and being all sweet. Maybe already something a bit has happened before between them, some flirting, etc. The talk with John about a relationship completing him as a person is on the back of his mind. He walks out, but midway down the stairs while taking his phone out (symbolically in darkness compared to that evening sun) he realizes that he misses that warmth and Molly, and realizes that is what completes him. He takes out his phone and texts he’s not coming and then goes back upstairs. Sees Molly all adorable and confused/surprised in this beautiful light and maybe goes to kiss her, etc. - @lullikiish

Crack!fic. Molly and Sherlock had a fake wedding for a case. However, when Molly applies for a marriage license to Tom, it turns out the wedding was actually real. She has to approach Sherlock for an annulment. It seems Sherlock deleted the event, because he doesn’t seem to remember it. Or does he? It seems he is too busy to sign the paperwork, he has misplaced it, always an excuse not to dissolve the marriage. Eventually he has to admit he really does want to be married to her. So Molly has to decide between two men. Which one does she choose? 😉 - @shadowyqueenbeard

Molly, unbeknownst to Sherlock, suffers from psoriasis since her teen years. This is why she’s been adamant about being more physically intimate with him, no matter how much she wants to. Fortunately for her, Sherlock doesn’t care about it at all. Could be a hard T or M rating. Loosely inspired by Loo’s own bout with the disease. - @violetjersey *

Fluff and maybe smut, or angst with a happy ending: Molly has a creepy feeling that she is being followed, and goes to Lestrade for help. He discovers that she has a security detail, curtesy of Sherlock. Molly is not pleased with this situation. Sherlock doesn’t understand why not, shouldn’t she be glad that he cares about her safety? After getting an earful from Molly, he cancels the security detail. Molly promptly leaves town without a word to anyone, leaving Sherlock to sweat. Is she okay? Most likely she is on a beach sipping Margaritas, but maybe she’s in trouble. He would like to make amends but first he as to find her. Should he try to locate her or leave her alone as requested? - @shadowyqueenbeard

I have read this in one or two fics, but not really developed as a main theme of the story … so: What if Rosie wants to pair John and Molly? How Sherlock will react and … how will he convince Rosie that Molly is for him and not for John. I’m imagining some angst in the middle because the silly man thinks this is a wonderful idea: Rosie gets a mummy and Molly gets a family. In fact, Sherlock sets up a date between Molly and John while he’s babysitting Rosie. - @kalkopyryt

Crack!Fic. Molly decides to try speed dating. The day she goes Sherlock is there, deducing everyone else to shreds. He tells Molly he is there purely by coincidence. He’s not trying to thwart her attempts at dating at all. Really! - @shadowyqueenbeard
