Being cupiromantic is funny. Like I want romance but I don't get it. I would like someone to actually confess their feelings to me but it will be very pointless, because I don't feel romantic attraction but they'll probably think I'm trying to friendzone them.

I'm pretty happy that aroace labels exist, because that's actually what made me to get comfortable interacting with the community at first.

˗ˏˋ 🍒 ˎˊ˗ As for Nica: Twice now he has said lines such as, "I've been raised right or I've had a good upbringing," and I've kinda like just given him the side-eye each time he's said that. Like "Uh-huh, okay, sure let's roll with that," but we all know that's not true or at least wasn't true for a time.

And with lore hints in the recent event of the twins being potentially abducted and used as test subjects for cursed experiments (most likely the victims of abuse too), I'm wondering if he says things like this to throw others off the trail about his past, is trying to convince himself that he had a good upbringing to cope with trauma; or IF Darius was the one that rescued the twins from that horrible place (assuming this is the case), could he be referring to the "upbringing" he would've received after being rescued?

....Or sadly, he is referring to potential domestic abuse as his "good upbringing"?

I'm very excited to learn more about the twins past, and to peer into that colder, more harsh side of Nica. (My weakness.) Still, I love watching his interactions with Kate overall, and love seeing him genuinely drop his guard with her and laugh as well. I think his route is going to be very good, from what I've seen of him so far.

˗ˏˋ⌛ˎˊ˗ As for Jude: A lot. I think about him 24/7, I'm obsessed. My mind jumps around with him so much that I can't even keep up lmao. Things like getting into bar fights with him, getting scolded by Victor along with him for doing something we shouldn't have, all the way to domestic life like dates, how would he interact with my tiny tiny nieces irl, curling up in bed together, having breakfast together, etc. But, um, I'll keep it brief....

His current election event story, there's this part where Jude mentions that he now that he's with Kate he doesn't feel as refreshed when he tramples down rotten nobles and such, and that it's only when he tortures and teases Kate, that he truly feels satisfied. This is HUGE. This is similar to what he says in his Halloween story.....all the feelings of satisfaction he gets from torturing others is nothing in comparison to satisfaction he gets from doing so with Kate. Of course, Jude absolutely curses (loves) and adores Kate!!

But now, I'm curious to know how his character will continue to develop going forward. Of course, that doesn't mean that Jude will stop getting revenge on others, or that others will stop seeking revenge on him. He is destined to die hating the world under this endless cycle of revenge, but how do I put this......does that mean in future events (depending on the setting), after Jude's taken care of his enemies, he will seek out Kate for some smexy "torture" sessions??? YES PLS.

It's not all about that though, I look forward to seeing more of their banter and his teasing her and spoiling her. Ugh....he's such a good boyfriend to her.

Overall, Jude has finally found happiness, and I can't wait to see how he continues to realize all the ways that Kate's presence is affecting him for the better. I think, regardless of who our faves are, it's so heart-warming to see them gain a measure of relief and happiness. Don't you? ⸜(｡˃ ᵕ ˂ )⸝♡

Technically, no. I wouldn't really call myself a biologist despite my bachelors degree in Biology😅 I went to college for environmental science, but I took two semesters of marine biology and wetland conservation and loved the field! Currently I work in nutrition, which is still wild to me because when I took a class on nutrition and agriculture I was like "you'll never catch me doing this for a paycheck" Life is funny like that....

jeongguk glances around the coffee shop, attempting to find the blond head of hair seokjin had told him to look out for. when he'd pointed out that any number of people could be blond and that that was a shit clue to find his blind date, seokjin had narrowed his eyes, very helpfully called him an ungrateful brat and harrumphed away.

now, jeongguk wishes he'd annoyed seokjin a little more and at least gotten a picture of this guy he's supposed to be seeing. jeongguk's not even sure he remembers the name but he blames that on how his brain feels like soup dripping out of his ears. he'd barely gotten out of having to put in another hour of overtime at work, his team lead grumbling about how today's generation simply did not want to work.

jeongguk did agree. he didn't dream of labour.

if he could, he'd lie in bed playing video games or reading manga all day, jerking off in between. the last thing he wants to do is complete financial audits and stare at balance sheets.

he sighs, failing to find anyone blond and decides to just get a drink and find an empty table. hopefully, seokjin had given a better description of jeongguk to whoever he was supposed to meet and they would find him.

as the line shortens, jeongguk notices that the coffee shop has a few tables tucked into the very back of the shop, hidden by some large potted plants. he spots a blond head of hair artfully styled back and parted to the left but the man is looking down at his phone.

jeongguk should really check to see what his date's name is supposed to be and he's just about to pull out his phone to check when the barista calls out a name: "a hot chocolate for jimin!"

the blond head perks up and jeongguk's brain short circuits, leaving behind nothing but white noise because holy shit.

there's no way seokjin knows someone so beautiful. there's no way seokjin hasn't introduced jeongguk to this, this jimin before.

jeongguk is transfixed, watching in wide eyed awe as jimin walks over to the counter to get his drink. he's the most gorgeous person jeongguk has ever seen before: pretty, expressive eyes, a plush mouth, a cute nose, a slim frame hidden under a fluffy green sweater. his nails are painted, silver hoops dangling from his ears, and when he turns around to head back to his table, jeongguk nearly groans outloud at the sight of his round, plump ass.

"uh, are you in line?"

"wha -- ?" jeongguk nearly jumps out of his skin, twisting around to see the person who's spoken to him. he blinks, unsure. is he in line?

the person looks annoyed and jeongguk doesn't have time for this.

he shakes his head and makes a beeline to jimin's table, his palms suddenly sweaty.

jeongguk clears his throat when he's close, catching jimin's attention. he's only just sat down, his drink untouched, and when he looks up at jeongguk, he swears he can hear wedding bells in his head.

"jimin?" jeongguk asks, praying to the universe that this is in fact his date.

"um, yes?" jimin blinks, hesitant but receptive.

jeongguk barrels on. "sorry, i -- i'm your date? our friend -- "

"oh my gosh! you -- i mean hyung said you were handsome but -- i, oh god, please, p-please have a seat!"

jeongguk laughs, the tips of his ears burning at jimin's slip up. he's endeared beyond belief by jimin's flustered chatter. his cheeks are flushed the prettiest shade of pink jeongguk has ever seen in his life and god, he's going to kiss seokjin on the mouth!

he takes the offered seat and grins. "so you think i'm handsome, jimin-ssi?"

jimin, already embarrassed, turns bright red, the blush sinking down down down until it disappears past his sweater's neckline. jeongguk, entirely too pleased, leans forward, resting his arms on the table. "if it makes you feel any better, i forgot where i was when i first spotted you."

"w-what?" jimin's eyes widen, his expression so sweetly innocent that jeongguk nearly groans in arousal.

"just that you're so breathtaking, i think my brain imploded back there. it's a miracle i'm still alive."

"ohmygod," jimin squeaks and jeongguk is so fucking done for, holy shit. how can a person be so cute!?

"sorry, i'm being a lot aren't i?"

"no!" jimin immediately assures, nearly reaching out for jeongguk's arms. he seems to flail for a split second, unsure what to do with himself and barely misses knocking his hot chocolate clean off the table. "i'm just -- usually -- that is, i. this is my first time on a blind date."

"mine, too," jeongguk smiles, wanting to put jimin at ease. he's clearly going to be very fun to tease but jeongguk wants this to go well. he's never wanted something more. "i'm sorry if my teasing was too much."

"you hardly teased me," jimin murmurs, his head ducking shyly. jeongguk squeezes his hands into fists to keep from squealing at how cute jimin is. then he adds, quieter, "thank you for the compliment..."

"jeongguk," he says, a little relieved that jimin hadn't known his name either. that made him feel a little better about his own forgetfulness.

"it's very nice to meet you, jeongguk-ssi," jimin smiles, his eyes turning into little crescents. jeongguk's heart skips a beat at the sight and maybe, just maybe his friends were right about this whole blind dating thing.

all he needed to do was see what was out there and what was out there was this stunning angel.

it's not until jeongguk gets home from the best date of his life, busy staring at the selfie jimin sent him so he could set it as jimin's profile picture in his contacts that seokjin shoots him a text demanding why jeongguk bailed on his date.
