honestly, it was hard to tell if you were or wilbur were more excited

it was about even

you two wanted a mini-you for so long now

it was honestly about time

lets start out by establishing that wilbur definitely cried when you told him

no one can change my mind on this

happy crying ofc <3

mans got prepared

he signed you two up for a bunch of virtual parenting classes

not because he doubted you, he just wanted to be ready for anything

this was gonna be his entire life and he couldn't mess it up

he also did everything for you

even when you told him that it was good exercise for you

if you weren't so prominent about moving around, you would never have to leave your bed

wilbur also learned some pretty interesting recipes

he had to fit your weird pregnancy cravings and he wanted to make the most nutritious food he could

night time was one of your favorite times

every night before bed, wilbur would lay down and snuggle up against you bump, whispering sweet nothings to it

the first night he did it you nearly cried

it was just so sweet and thoughtful

there was no doubt in your mind that he was going to make the greatest dad

wilbur also did a bunch of unnecessary shopping

he got you sweets, and heating pads, and yoga balls and everything that you ever needed to get through these nine months

your house was filled with baby stuff

to the blind eye, it would look like there already was a baby living there

wilbur had cute outfits for the next three years prepared

this baby was going to have more clothes than a whole Macy's

you were pretty sure that they would out grow most of them before they got a chance to wear it

wilbur got prepped on toys too

he even measured all of them to make sure they weren't too small

💣Stress headcanon: Jiroki can get easily stressed in a number of ways. Most of the time, depending on the crowd, it's expressed in a more comical way; rolling her eyes so hard they nearly fall out of her head, her trying to cope with ridiculous situations going on around her and she ends up joining in, yelling in a way she becomes the equivalent to Squidward Tentacles. Other times, also depending on the crowd, her stress escalates and invokes her wrath, though that can tie in more with the other headcanon. 😡Anger headcnon: Jiroki has a history with anger management, and she's a lot better now than when first introduced. But much like above, it can be easy to flip her switch depending on what's going on around her and if her ideals feel challenged, even if something doesn't happen directly to her. This felt better to answer OOCly instead of IC lol. Thanks anon!
