killer met him with his own whisper, a kiss of his words on cross’s teeth, “because, if you’re the last one i’ll ever be held by, and kissed by, and if its just us and us by ourselves in this hellhole… i want to hear it. just once.”

the words killer asked for were lodged in his throat, always there lately. on the cusp of being let out, but held down firmly, and ignored. better left untouched, the warmth between them met with accepting silence.

killer’s kiss was simple enough for cross to follow, the minimal space between them warmed and humming with the equal echoes of their magic. sometimes, it felt like cross’s soul was hooked on it, always so eager to answer the call of killer’s magic.

and yet, eager as it was, his tongue was not.

he hesitated.

killer kissed him again, loosening his tongue into a more pliant state.

it wouldnt mean anything, nothing that wasnt already felt, if he said it, it wasnt an earthshattering sentence, but it felt like one. cross opened his mouth, the words there, and lodged again, and killer chuckled, his teeth nipping against cross’s jaw, but it wasnt mocking.

it was fond, unbearably fond, and cross swallowed, still tasting killer on his tongue as he whispered into the warm air between them.

“i love you.”

killer kissed him again, and cross let him, let killer chase the words to their source, and he relished in the feel of him, the taste, the scent, and perhaps it wasnt so hard to say it when it felt so starkly true.

he couldnt give killer the world, no, that was a time lost, an opportunity stolen, but he just knew, from the way their magic sparked together with every kiss, that admitting his love was, to killer, perhaps even more valuable than a world.

the world was theirs already, theirs alone. it felt like that, anyways, less like a gift and more like an inheritance.

killer gave a snort when cross’s finger tickled the inside of killer’s ribs, and cross pressed his face to killer’s shoulder, inhaling slowly.

the world was gone, but that didnt matter as much when he had his own little world, his own home, here in his arms. a world was his and his alone, and he was his, too.

but, it didnt hurt to add a little sugar on top when sweet midnight kisses couldnt be enough for tonight.

cross whispered it again, like it was a secret, and he understood, a little, why killer asked to hear it to begin with.

there was nothing like it, hearing it spoken, such weighted words now that nothing else mattered, and cross got it.

killer whispered it back, just as secretive, just as unsteady, and the warm thrill that spurred in cross’s soul, sending his magic surging with fond affection, well.

he gets it.

…he’ll probably just kiss killer next time he asks for it, because he’d rather occupy his mouth with killer’s voice rather than his own. thats what they did best most nights anyways.

Sorry (not) but I find anyone who acts like Blue is making something out of nothing when she’s mad Adam’s first question is about the kissing to be like. Deeply suspicious. Of course she is mad that’s the first thing he asked her! They’ve been walking on eggshells around each other and not really communicating since the last aborted kiss attempt which is on both of them to some degree, but when he comes around to her it’s only for this and when she has so many fears and insecurities about not properly belonging in the gang because she’s a girl (which is founded based on the fact aside from Noah they’ve all been misogynistic towards her at some point even if it was passive) and not being respected, when she’s also an outsider at home because of a different thing she can’t control. And you can not say that her feeling Adam is treating her like a thing to have and not a person he connects with is unfounded he again literally “I got Blue without you!” screamed at Gansey, consistently going to her after they fight (he did it end of TRB after repugnant too) to validate himself or just generally when he’s falling apart looking for validation from her like in the apartment scene. It’s not a bad thing to seek validation from your partner and in TRB before I’d say the last quarter I think Blue and Adam were genuinely connecting and developing a friendship while also exploring their feelings/attractions to each other, which did always have elements of seeking escape or validation for both of them in different ways, but it’s dissolved into that so much now. And I do think Blue is to some degree mad at Adam because he’s here and available to be mad at when she’s also mad at Gansey for it (I don’t think they’re *in the wrong * for not inviting her but they are in the wrong for not even considering she could want to go or at least want to be in the loop, also even though it’s Gansey’s party if Adam is trying to be her *boyfriend* it was kind of his place to ask her) so she’s conveying anger at Adam when the anger is for both of them, and also more general factors she’s frustrated by, but also Adam has the exact same response of channeling emotions that aren’t solely about Blue through their fights (and to his credit he is self aware that he does this) so again crucifying Blue for it is whack imo. Also to check myself on shipper-brain for the Adam-Gansey aspect of it, well obviously I read that here as a factor because I’m me, but for arguments sake on the premise Adam has No feelings about Gansey that are anything other than platonic Blue would still have a right to be mad about him prioritizing his platonic male friends over her and treating them with more respect, obviously, because misogyny exists (also these are not two contradictory readings in that I think they’re both factors. Hmmmmm, this is a tough question!!! But also, an interesting one lol. I’d say, in terms of actually creating and uploading art it’d be either Undertale or SCP! Most likely it’s SCP but I remember being RLLY into Undertale back when it first came out and drawing a bunch of stuff for it

But, in terms of the fandom I was MOST personally involved and invested and ride or die on for the longest amount of my life, regardless of amount of fanart I’ve drawn (cuz robots r hard to draw…) it would without question be transformers lol, I’ve been obsessed with that shit since like 5th grade… I used to read thru tfwiki pages just for fun as a child and to see the funny captions on photos or the interesting trivia. I had one of crashboombangers old brainstorm voice clips as my alarm clock back then and it was DEVASTATINGLY LOUD, I shared my room w someone else back then and had that as my alarm and little me, had no sense of common decency towards someone else’s sleep cuz that shit was like a bomb went off at 5:30. he certainly doesn’t mean to be & i don’t say it to condemn him as a person or as a character & i’m still very attached to him & he loves sam very much (not that that makes a difference in whether u abuse someone or not) - but the way he treats sam a lot/some of the time is emotionally abusive and sam is clearly badly impacted. s4 and s8 come to mind as his worst moments also ofc moc era - after that there’s less interpersonal conflict (up to where i am at least) but that’s because sam mostly stops disagreeing with dean not because dean actually gets much better <3 spn is cycles of abuse show after all. family is hell. dean’s learnt pretty much everything about how to behave from his abusive father and as a result. well. cycle continues

HIIIII…. ok so. Sokka & Suki lol…. I want to say they’ll get over it & be friends but I also feel like that’s unrealistic, and not very understanding of Sukis feelings about what happened?

Suki is a teenage girl who just experienced her first heartbreak by having the boy she liked lie to her,,, only to reveal later that he’s involved with someone else lol… yeah she’s fumming. There are also little things along that way that have added insult to injury, like the way sokka has ignored her and the other kyoshi warriors, or not even noticing her when she’s in the same room as him… idk with all the tension I wouldn’t expect her and sokka to make up to a point where they’ll hang out? But I do think a conversation between them is bound to happen.

AHHHHH….. I have so much I want to say about Katara knowing but the next two chapters will do that for me so ummm *sings theme song* BE PREPAREDDDDDD!!!!

The short answer is that I identify as queer.

The long answer is that I have complicated feelings in regards to my own sexuality and gender.

Some days I’m pretty comfortable with calling myself a lesbian because I’m majority female presenting and I don’t feel much dysphoria about being perceived as a girl (most of the time) so it’s comfortable. Some days I don’t feel comfortable with calling myself a lesbian because I don’t know if I have any actual attraction to speak of, either romantic or sexual. Some days I don’t feel comfortable calling myself a lesbian because I don’t feel like a girl (I know non-binary lesbians exist and are valid, this is a very personal complication, not how I view others). Some days I only prefer asexual, because I’m pretty sure that’s the most correct. Some days I wonder if I’m actually demisexual, or gray ace, because while I wasn’t clamoring for sex I also didn’t really hate it either. Some days I know I don’t want anyone or anything at all to touch me. I never want to call myself aromantic because I’m worried it will make me broken (again, personal, not universal). Some days I think I might be bi because I’ll think a man is pretty. Some days I wonder if I might be a gay trans man or gay and agender or gay and non-binary.

The long answer is, I don’t know. How I identify could change from one day, or even one hour, to the next. If you asked me tomorrow I might even have a different answer for you.

No you are not wrong, that’s exactly what mxtx calls them, how they are meant to be viewed in the story, and why they get the ending they get while everyone else is left picking up pieces of their shattered world views or dead.

Mxtx is very much so not saying that it’s hard to determine what’s right from wrong. Gunning for genocide is never a right choice, and even the characters know it! The way the cultivation world at large is ashamed in front of their own children when it is revealed that they lied about burning the bodies on the Burial Mounds and actually threw the remains of the Wen remnants into the blood pool, desecrating them, and the way they had to lie on Wei Wuxian to begin with in order to drum up support against him while people stood with him—in both the past and present—anyways? These are clear moments where everyone from the older generations outside of wangxian (and later, Mianmian) are shown to be unambiguously wrong despite how much time and effort they spent trying to paint themselves as righteous. Empathy does go a long way, but towards combatting oppression and mob mentality, not supporting genociders and serial killers hiding behind class status to do whatever they want. Mdzs is a story warning about mob mentality and smear campaigns, not “well, we can never know what’s really moral so let’s just do whatever the powerful people say!”

As for Jin Guangyao’s infamous watch towers, when are those ever brought up in the novel to suggest that they did anything good for anyone? There’re literally referenced to say how suspicious it is that of all the watchtowers put up, there was a giant blind spot exactly where the Jin hid their dirty laundry who then went on to massacre an entire city! If there’s one thing woobified villain stans will do is act like a villain clearly lying about their intentions and motivations is being 100% honest and forthcoming about their actions 🙄

history of westeros! it was their most recent episode “the dragon’s undoing” which was just kinda tracking every dragon fight in terros’ history that we are aware of, and analyzing why dragons were used.

jsyk it’s Thee most mainstream asoiaf podcast, i think they stay away from having more juicy opinions bc of that fame (altho the older guy Loves to be a contrarian about really random stuff, he’s funny to me). it’s not that they don’t have interesting things to say tho, im terrible with remember the dates and names and they’re great with explaining the entire history of a specific subject in a way that is engaging, but whenever they get into discussing like ~theories~ i noticed they never get WILD about it lol they never get CONTROVERSIAL with it.
