I tied myself to a stick in the ground to help place a baby squirrel up but turns out the stick did not have strong enough roots so now I’m floating in the air somewhere like a bloody balloon.

(I thought this song was perfect for this, I remember watching this in the movie theaters way back when, loved it and still do. The first time I saw a representation of some of my culture on that scale, such an underrated movie.)

- In any situation you guys are in, working together or having two different jobs? I don’t think it’d be a surprise when I say the first kiss happens very early into the relationship and they’re the one to initiate it.

- No coaxing or dancing around the subject, you’re getting kissed like three days into the relationship tops.

- If you guys work for Overwatch together, and y’all won a particularly rough mission after going back and forth with the enemy, emotions are high as the celebration of the triumph proceeds.

- It happens so suddenly, like you’re next to Venture, happy as a clam after putting your all into your fighting. Then, out of nowhere, you’re getting grabbed and pulled into a sudden and passionate kiss that leaves you stunned and flushed, silent as a church mouse when they pull away.

- You know that one scene in ‘Who Framed Roger Rabbit’ Where Roger kisses Detective Valiant as if his life depended on it? It’s along the lines of something like that.

- You probably said something like, “I could kiss you right now!” After they saved you from getting pulverized and in their mind they went “Bet”.

- Trust me, they’re also kind of surprised that they actually did it—

- Time freezes for a moment as y’all kissed cause the team to go silent before an uproar from the particularly positive teammates— Causing even more cheering, especially if you have someone like Reinhardt on the team, he’d hype you guys up so much.

- That or if you guys are archeologists or simply have different jobs from one another it’s more private and Sloane can try to convince you that it was on purpose. But in Overwatch? Fuck no lol.

- The whole roster was like 80% sure you guys were a thing, but that went up 1000% when Sloane kissed you as if they needed it to breathe.

- Spreads like wildfire and by the end of the day everyone knows you guys are a couple, and a rather cute one on top of that.

- At least you guys don’t have to tell everyone that you’re a thing now.

- It makes Venture a little sad. They were planning something big to announce it cause they felt like it needed to be as special as they think your guys’s relationship is. They were biting back the urge to brag about it for 72 hours (the longest time they’ve ever kept something like that to themselves besides their feelings before you guys were a thing), all for naught.

- Reassure them it isn't a big deal and that if they look at it from a different perspective, the first kiss was a great way of doing it.

- They’ll spring back up when you say that, saying something like “Oh I planned to do it like that anyways!”

- You know, like a liar.

- Besides that little hiccup, it was a great first kiss, they wouldn't have it any other way.

- As one might expect, everyone has different views on the matter, with the positive ones that are like “Aweee look at them go!” And think it’s cute: (Ana, D.Va, Junkrat; a mix between neutral but more positive nonetheless, Kiriko, Lucio, Lifeweaver, Illari, Mei, Mercy, Reinhardt, Sigma; same as Junkrat)

- Neutral, like, “Oh, cool, congrats Ig”: (Brigitte; a bit more positive but still neutral, Baptiste, Bastion, Cassidy, Echo, Genji, Hanzo, Junker Queen, Orisa, Symmetra, Torbjorn, Solider 76, Roadhog, Sombra, Sojourn, Winston, Zarya, and Zenyatta: same as Brigitte but a bit more happy)

- Then the negative, the “I don’t need to know about about that you keep that to yourself”: (Ashe, Doomfist, Moira; sassy about it, Mauga; He’s like an annoying older brother that is constantly trying to embarrass their younger sibling— That sibling rivalry between him and Venture is wildddd, Reaper, Ramattra; a bit more neutral, Wrecking Ball; Blunt and mean about it too lmao, Widowmaker; graduated with her master’s degree in the art of being a hater).

Here’s a snippet from one of the several one shots I have going on for @kyoshi-era-week-24 . This is from the prompt “Parental Figures” where Kyoshi and Rangi decide to leave a young Koko in the care of the Flying Opera Company while they go on a much needed night out together. Things get a little chaotic, naturally.

“You will not pass, evil Emporer Wong!” Koko yelled, standing on top of a small table.

“I believe you underestimate me, young Avatar! For I, evil Emporer Wong, have the power of Jinpa the Two-Faced Killer on my side!” Wong held both of his hands in the air while laughing menacingly.

Jinpa appeared from behind Wong, walking carefully backwards so that the evil face drawn on the back of his bald head showed first. “You will never make it through me!”

“Fools!” Koko declared. “I have Kirima, the greatest waterbender that ever lived!”

Kirima lifted a ball of water high into the air and roared loudly. “You are no match for me, Jinpa the Two-Faced Killer! You will not survive the powerful tides of my waterbending!”

They all stopped in their tracks when the door to the common area opened and Auntie Mui poked her head in. “Is everything okay in here? I heard some yelling.” Her eyes jumped from each person, a confused and curious look on her face as she took in the scene before her.

They all smiled and nodded while Kirima addressed the question. “We are good. Everyone say thank you for checking in, Auntie Mui.” The other three repeated the words, staring blankly at the middle aged woman until she slowly backed up and closed the door. Several seconds passed before they continued as if nothing had happened.

“Evil Emporer Wong, prepare to meet your DOOM!” Koko yelled before jumping off the table and charging at Wong with a toy sword. They fought hand-to-hand, Wong providing openings for Koko to take in order to defeat him in their fight.

Kirima and Jinpa sent small and well-contained water and air attacks back and forth at each other. The battles raged on until both Koko and Kirima were able to defeat their enemies. Wong slowly sank to the ground, the toy sword placed in his armpit. He groaned and drew out his final scene before succumbing to his fake death. Jinpa pretended to take an ice dagger to the chest, spinning around as he fell down dramatically.

The little girl and the waterbender cheered in triumph. “The Avatar saves the day again!” Koko announced.

Whether you have drawn/painted smth, made a lyric edit, did an lyric analysis, wrote a piece of (fan)fiction, made a video or if you crafted anything irl (like embroidery or collages for example); anything is allowed as long as it fits a taylor lyric featuring a word on the list!

How do I participate?

Well there are multiple options that will all lead you to a similar result!

TWST G/T Headcanons go brrr

🍒Ace Trappola ~ The only human in this shvt. He’s wondering what the hell is happening with all the giants and tinies and is casually watching the world around him burn around. He’s constantly messing with Deuce (if he’s giant) trying to get him mad to the point he’ll will destroy half of Heartslabyul with a single punch. Ace LIVES to get this mfer in trouble and he can get away with it cause “he couldn’t possibly cause so much destruction anyways" since he's a regular human. Definitely the main catalyst for any giant related destruction.

🥚Deuce Spade ~ Giant 100%. He would be so clumsy. Half of Heartslabyul is destroyed before the end of the week every month (it’s Ace’s fault). He would be so sweet to Yuu but he’d grab them unintentionally roughly. He apologizes like crazy if he squashes something or is close to stepping on someone. Main objective? Protect his friends and stop anyone trying to hurt them.

💭Cater Diamond ~ Sizeshifting Cater. Thank you for coming to my TEDtalk. But seriously, Cater just being super little one moment for the perfect camera shot while sitting on a flower. Next moment, he's towering over the dom, angling his phone to get a good picture while sitting on the roof. He'll just snatch tiny Trey and Riddle up and randomly take pictures with them. Super affectionate with Yuu as well. He'll just grab them in his hands and nuzzle them with the biggest smile over his face.

🍀Trey Clover ~ Hear me out on giant Trey. He's just baking in his kitchen and he looks down to see Yuu trying to sneak a lick off his mixing spoons and spatulas. He's gotta be sure that no one's accidentally getting baked into his pies and whatnot because that'd be SUPER bad. He typically carries people on his hat so they can spectate whatever he's making. He loves having Riddle in the kitchen and constantly messes with him, whether it be blowing flour in his face or booping his nose with a tiny scoop of strawberry jam.

🌹Riddle Rosehearts ~ He is actually so tiny coded it is INSANE. The tiny tyrant who sits upon Trey's hat and yells at his students. He'll know if you break a rule because he's quite literally listening from the walls. He could be in your room and you'd never even know he was there. He'll announce the opening of unbirthday parties by sitting atop his little dollhouse sized throne and using an itty bitty microphone Cater bought from the store.

🪨Jack Howl ~ Giant Jack + fluffy tail = pure happiness. He's just. So protective over Yuu and he's insanely sweet. If you give him a lil smooch he'll actually think you were the cutest thing on planet Earth.

🪵Ruggie Bucchi ~ Tiny hyena who "borrows" stuff from others (he's a lil sneak). He can get away with stuff too because of his size. He'll just casually sneak into your dorm room and take whatever little scraps he can find. Leona's had to go out and find him if he ever needs little favors from him but has almost accidentally stepped on him one too many times because of how good Ruggie is at hiding.

🦁Leona Kingscholar ~ Giant Leona is actually so perfect WHAT. He's just sleeping over his entire dorm, leaning his head against the terrain outside and flicking his tail, kicking up sand from the ground. Magishift training is even better since Leona can coach his players and all he'd have to do is stand up to be eye level with those flying on broomsticks.

⚡️Floyd Leech ~ I'd say giant Floyd, but lord KNOWS what kinda BS he'd pull. He'll just. Pluck Riddle out the window and tease him. If he's not in a good mood, he'll probably smash stuff and laugh when the "tiny minnows" get mad at him. Such a chaotic giant.

🪼Jade Leech ~ Tiny Jade is an absolute MUST. He'll just go inside his little terrariums and see his mushrooms from a better perspective. He'll easily be able to observe nature and it's just perfect for him.

🐙Azul Ashengrotto ~ Listen; Giant mermaid Azul, Tiny human Azul. I say this because in game, it's actually implied that Azul is a WHOLE lot bigger in his mermaid form than his human form. i'd believe it, given how big octopi IRL can become. Then you have a tiny Azul who's the boss of two giant eels. You violated your contract? Say goodbye and get squished at his command. Tiny restaurant owner and the grand mastermind of the contract scandal in Book 3. Everyone's just baffled that they were swindled by a tiny octopus.

⚱️Kalim Al-Asim ~ Giant Kalim. Clumsy giant good. Jamil has HAD IT with his BS and will advocate for replacing him as their Dorm Leader. Kalim's not trying to be bad, and he's actually so sweet. He'll just observe his dorm mates from the window's of the building's towers. He'll watch the others fly around on his magic carpet. He would pick Yuu up and hold them close to him as he lays down and points out all the stars in the sky. He'd be the perfect cuddle buddy; all you have to do is ask, and you're already sleeping in the crook of his neck as he sits down and holds you close.

🦂Jamil Viper ~ Sizeshifting Jamil W. Jamil who's tiny one moment, and giant the next. He'll get really big in order to handle certain tasks or to stop Kalim from doing something that could potentially hurt him. I just imagine him picking Kalim up from the back of his shirt and dangling him in midair while lecturing him.

🍎Epel Felmier ~ The infamous tiny who's been trying to escape Pomefiore. He's almost had a bunch of successful attempts, but Vil just picks him up by his collar and scolds him for trying to run off again. Epel's dorm escapes are gossiped about around the whole dorm. He's constantly being doted on by his fellow dorm mates (he absolutely hates it). He's challenged Vil to a fight and got flattened under his thumb (he's ok [I think] for now!).

🏹Rook Hunt ~ Giant Rook Hunt so true. He's so SNEAKY. It's crazy how someone his height is able to get around without so much as a booming footstep or a loud sigh. He's quietly observing all the student from clever hiding spots (though his hat gives him away sometimes). He'll carry Vil wherever he needs to go and is so polite, always watching where he walks.

🪞Vil Schoenheit ~ Giant Vil Giant Vil Giant Vil. I NEED him to push over billboards with Neige's face on them. He'll sit on the sides of buildings and pose for photo shoots. He's a giant with a rivalry for a tiny foe (his tiny foe has no idea a giant wants him gone). Makeup products for him are so big he has to store them in a warehouse separate from the school.

🎮Idia Shroud ~ Tiny Idia for sure. He hides amongst his anime figurines whenever Riddle comes banging on the door to drag him to the next Dorm Leader meeting. Tiny Idia making little inside jokes like "I just ate a whole chip today I'm stuffed" and the other person opposite the screen just thinks it's a joke (they don't know they're playing with a 5 inch-tall gamer).

🧿Ortho Shroud ~ Giant mecha Ortho VS itty bitty robot Ortho. Idia just controls Ortho from a cockpit in his room and goes around jumpscaring people (Ortho has to tell him to quit it or he'll grab him out his room and force him to socialize). Then there's tiny Ortho who just. Zooms around like a lil bug. His flying sounds like a mosquito but he's going around helping students whenever he can.

🐊Sebek Zigvolt ~ Human Sebek in a world of chaos much like Ace. He's trying to protect Malleus but Malleus is usually the one who ends up protecting HIM. Sebek making speeches about how powerful and big Malleus is and just getting absolutely spooked whenever one of his giant classmates comes tapping on the window.

⚔️Silver ~ Giant Silver SUPER BIG YES. Sleepy giant who just clocks out whenever he lays against something. Lilia's constantly flying around trying to get his attention and Silver just swats at him like a fly sometimes. He's finally big enough to tell Sebek to stop messing with him (he's accidentally squished Sebek with his head after falling asleep and tumbling over). Silver who is just so sweet and has tiny little birds nestling on his head.

🦇Lilia Vanrouge ~ A tiny, itty bitty terror. He flies around and scares the kids in the dorm and around campus and laughs. He's able to slip through fingers while flying so he can't be grabbed so easily. Lilia's also REALLY fast. He'll go speeding across the hall in a little green sparkle and hide behind Sebek whenever an angry student is chasing him. Peepaw that lives in a dollhouse and sits on the rocking chair, telling Silver stories at night whenever he's trying to sleep.

🐉Malleus Draconia ~ This is SO painfully obvious, but giant Malleus FTW. He just plucks Yuu out of Ramshackle and flies into the sky. He holds them close to him and rambles to them about his gargoyles and the stars. Malleus who causes the ground to shake whenever he moves or gets angry. His voice is so deep it carries across the ground and shakes the heavens. He's so imposing that no one dares go near him or the little human he's acquired. He adores Yuu and will take them with him wherever he goes. Giant Malleus who smashes the Bell Tower during Glorious Masquerade in a fit of rage against Rollo, for even TRYING to hurt his Child of Man. He's so strong he could probably lift Ramshackle dorm clean off the ground with his hand. He would probably even be able to grow his size even bigger so that he towers over NRC. He'd be unstoppable as a giant, but he'd always be so sweet to his human friend.

JK live was just so 💎pure💎 and had an effect to move even dark crumbling souls 🧹🪨 like mine. (😅Not to sound so dramatic, but I’ve been stuck in darkness yet again🧟‍♀️). His reaction to the FESTA 💌 project (and other fan songs), + the euphoric experience of listening to him sing 🌿✉️🌿…this fandom is so very spoiled. 💜😌💜

Anyhow, I am here again because I have two thoughts/items I wanted to share with you. ❤️

The NYT article has been gifted via the reporting journalist’s tweet above. I’m not at all familiar with this artist or his group, and do not know anything about J-pop…but am somewhat familiar with the conservative social landscape of Japan. IMHO the fact that such a fuss needs to be made to apologetically disclose such a personal matter is wrong, alas that is where 🇯🇵 and many other societies stand. I applaud his courage, and hope the best outcome…truly, but I reckon it remains to be seen.

2. I was watching JK’s live and noticed there were numerous spamming from the TK shipper side of the fandom (as usual). But the curious thing today was, every time (at least a handful of times) I tried to hold it or swipe it to report the comments as I’ve done in the past, they disappeared before I even had the chance(!) Memorizing the usernames and scrolling back to find them was futile also, they were just *poof!* gone a moment after they appeared. I’m curious if you or anyone on your blog have noticed this… in all cases the ship name was a part of the comments—perhaps the term is now being screened(?).

2. Interesting. I know weverse is monitoring their lives more now I believe for inappropriate comments. I *think* but it's possibly they are trying to cut down on the stupidly overwhelming number of shippy comments to get to actual more actual engagement types of comments. But who knows! It's Interesting regardless. I personally turn the comments OFF whenever I watch lives unless I'm rarely adding some of my own. Simply because it's too distracting for me and people saying stupid shit jn an attempt to get noticed detracts from my enjoyment at just seeing the members lol so I can't speak to seeing anything like this for myself 🤷🏻‍♀️

- Right off the bat, such a great dynamic, when they first saw you they immediately went to introduce themselves— Compliment after compliment spilling from their lips.

- Asks you sooo many questions on how you decided on going for that style, means well of course, just wants to know the importance of it you as a person.

- If you’re a goth in particular? They definitely refer a whole lot to the extinct culture of the Goths, you know— The Germanic ones that wrecked the Western Roman Empire with extreme brutality and were the cause of medieval Europe emerging.

- Starts learning about the culture and history of your group so they can talk about something you like and is a part of your life.

- Dance moves? Learnt some of them so they can look “cool” at the Goth club with you, like that one video of that nerdy guy with the quarter that moves up and down like he’s on one of those kiddy revolving horses, (here) it’s a bit silly but it’s heartwarming nonetheless.

- Anyways, if you’re taller, shorter, or the same height, they can and will borrow some of your accessories/clothing. Cheeky about it too, as they show off what they borrowed as proof of them dating you, especially to Mauga.

- Can and will buy you things as a thank you for letting them borrow your stuff, likes buying stuff like that at a thrift store— That kind of stuff has personality to them.

- Piercings? They have one as well so I think they’d be giddy to show off the various extra piercings they have in this ornate jewelry box their Abuela gave Sloane specifically for them.

- Tattoos? I think we already know the answer to this one, so proud of their own and will admire yours, asking more questions as they ask whether or not yours has meaning behind them as they touch the inked skin.

- If you ask, they’d be up for getting some more alongside you, maybe even buy some extra piercings for you, goes in tandem with their love language of quality time and gift giving.

- All the while chattering about the history about both, they’re just so giddy and supportive.

- Will help and encourage you to indulge in dark facts about history if you’re into that, feed into it as they take you to a morbid museum of some sort as a date, only if you let them go to a dinosaur one afterwards.

- If you do makeup, they will be astonished by it and practically beg for you to do theirs.

- Can’t handle standing still for too long (firm ADHD Venture believer) but will accept kisses in between as a consolation prize for doing so. On top of watching an analysis video on rock formations, if it’s good they’ll be almost as transfixed as they are when they look at you.

- Once it’s done, there is a high chance of them coming back, makeup smeared or dirty and begging for you to do it again, will use the puppy eyes and the pouting lip tactic.

- Loves when you have your makeup on, thinks so cool and interesting on you, but they also love messing it up, if you catch my drift.

- I can just imagine after a particularly long time of Venture being away cause of their job, with a mix of smeared makeup on your faces after a making out, a smug grin on their face as they say something like, “Aw did you really miss me that much?”

- Boastful as all hell when it comes to the fact that, them a goofy ass archeologist was able to bag someone like you.

- Brags about you a lot whenever you come up in conversation and jumps at the chance of taking you to their job so they show you off.

- Introducing you to other people usually goes like this, “Yeah this is Reader, my partner— Looks absolutely amazing don’t they?” All the while holding the side of your waist with one arm with a self satisfied look on their face.

(Alright!!! So, after a bit of consideration I’m going to start writing for a character from Overwatch that I’ve really liked for years now, Junkrat! I like them dirty Ig lol.)

The Hobbit Spoilers and Major Character Death

I have never said I am a perfect man. Polite to a fault, kind as often as I can, truthful when it exists out of the realm of my greed. I am not perfect, and I am well aware of many of my shortcomings as they have made themselves evident over the course of my life.

When I was just a young thing, my father caught me scruffing with a wild fox over a branch neither of us had ever seen before. We had no claim over it, we laid eyes on it at roughly the same time. And yet, we both believed we had a divine right to this dead appendage of a birch tree. My yelling alerted my father, a slender man with a larger brain than anyone. That fact nearly made up for his lack of labor ability. And yet, the fox and I were tired enough that he was able to pry us apart. We must’ve been exhausted, for my father lost the strength to carry me a few months before. I was furious with him for letting the fox get away, and he held me still from squirming. He asked me if I needed the stick. Although I yelled that I did, he knew there was no true reason as I couldn’t give him one. It was then he realized that my greediness of youth would likely follow me to my older years. So, he gave me a rule to hopefully quell or confine it.

“Never take someone else’s need for your wants.” He shook me and let me fall onto the dirty, thornful forest floor and that was the end of the discussion.

And I have followed this advice as often as the opportunity has presented itself. For this reason, I have held myself with the title of a humble man for a long time. I acknowledge that once a humble man announces this, he will lose said title. And, yet, I continue. Because I lost my humility two years ago. I have spent the last two years trying to rope it back to me, but it has eluded me. Finally, with the encouragement of memories of friends eating away at my mind, I have caved and will finally describe this moment in pen, in hopes that doing so will allow it to cease being described behind my eyes every waking moment; even further into my dreams.

He had a voice like the banging of a drum, deep and rolling as the ocean. For the longest time I felt as though love was the wrong word. It was more comfort than love, like a warm bath. He wore dark furs that covered him like scales cover a dragon or a vault covers a treasure. He strode with urgency, commanded with the bravery of a general, gazed at others with rarely a hint of kindness.

When trying to understand him, one must first understand the true language he spoke. His truest of intentions were not found in common or dwarvish, his face or his hands; but his eyes, oh, they held so much. They would stare at me so intensely across the campsite, I would think he was scolding me like an enemy. They would follow my every move, ready to sneer. If eyes could have killed back then, I would have been dead for decades by now.

Every step I took, I seemed to want his approval more and more. Like a river carving a mountain, slowly but surely I was adamant to convince him of one thing and one thing alone; that I deserved to be there. Among warriors and kings and the wisest of our time, I was just a humble hobbit who longed to be right and thirsted for a story to tell.

I quickly found that the task I had set for myself was impossible. There was nothing I could do for Thorin’s favor that would grant me it. The reason was very simple: It is impossible to convince someone of something that you yourself do not believe in.

This changed after our run in with the Orcs of the underground and our skirmish with the Living Mountain. Made to fend for myself after being separated from the group, I will say I even impressed myself with how I managed to escape. (However, my dear reader, that is a tale for another day.) In that moment, I felt surer than anything that I had proven myself. And that is when it began.

I began to see the sun reflect in his eyes, and began to see that he softened ever so slightly when he laid eyes on me. I saw that he began to really, truly see me; and I, him. On such a cold, treacherous journey, with so much left lying ahead of us, eye contact and conversations that felt like a spring afternoon were more than welcome. So, we hid during the day and shone like the sun at night, watching each other like how mortals watch stars.

We orbited one another like spinning magnets, like turning planets. It felt otherworldly, the admiration I could see him hold for me. Running from wargs and resting in glades blurred all the same, an underlying delight lightened everything. Suddenly, the room stopped when I opened my mouth. The world was brighter, laughter was louder, even anger didn’t last as long nor as bad.

I belonged among kings and warriors and wise ones. Not only because I was coming into my own, but also because I was now able to see that all these people of legends were also vulnerable and gay and excitable; and just like me.

Now, my dear reader, I am sure you are wondering when I lost my humility. I have been selfish in this writing, omitting what you are truly here for. For that, I apologize. But, please offer some sympathy to an old man, cursed to remember his life in a better light than it had truly ever shown. Over these many years I have found that the sun will never shine brighter than in a memory. But, I have held you in suspense long enough.

It was the battle of the five armies. Around me was chaos and bloodshed and fear and death. Something had been rifted between Thorin and I, about the arkenstone. A sickness had come over him, like how a dragon covers his treasure. The clouds blotted out the sun in his eyes, moving too erratically to reflect the love I once knew. Love still feels odd to say. But, it is the truth.

I hate to admit it, but I was embarrassed to have missed the entire battle. I was rendered unconscious quickly into the clash, and I woke up too late. I once confided in Balin and he asked what I thought I was late for. My chest ached and my eyes darted and he knew.

I was late to reach Thorin. Too late to protect him. Too late to call for a healer or take the blow instead. The nasty, nasty wound, killing my one love. My spring, my sun, my warmth. I threw myself over him, hands trembling and voice refusing to be used.

He grasped my arm like a vice and looked at me like a star. My mountain, my rock, he was slowly drifting away. His sturdy voice was telling me what we both knew, and then he was pulling me closer.

As the lips I had longed after for so long touched me so tenderly, as I finally reached the end of my journey to reach him, I could so keenly feel the cold of the world around me eating at my skin. I could hear every slash and clang of combat. He was kissing me with such a need.

And I was too late to kiss back with my want. By the time I returned the kiss, his lips were becoming as cold as the snow and his body went limp like a pile of rocks. And I lost him.

I am not a humble man. Friends I forged in the fire of danger, I left behind. I am selfish. I left his memory, his legacy, his love behind. Every night I laid in bed, trying to forget that Thorin died not knowing that I, Bilbo Baggens, man of so many faults and so much love, had kissed him back.
