Yeah i get it. I think both figaro and oz and even snow and white (though not much as figaro and oz) can be super duper frustrating when it comes to interpersonal relationships but damn if that's not a huge reason i love them....

Nerofau are super funny and soft and i literally cannot wait until it all comes crashing down once the truth comes out yaaay. No ok but i think nero is the one who is categorically screwed over in this situation. Like you said, faust is going back to figaro, and faust is like the only other person that nero can rely on besides bradley, but bradley doesn't want nero to carry on with his laid-back life style, bradley wants nero to go back to being a criminal and going back to being a criminal he does....that and nero being way too hasty screwed him over even more and made figaro aware of his murder plans, and now figaro watches him like a hawk. I do wish that, now that figaro is aware nero is trying to kill him, and now that figaro is a """pacifist""" (like when push comes to shove he'll kill like a northie but like he's still trying for world peace or smth) i want figaro to somehow figure a way out for nero not do that. Like come on. Figaro's specialty is mind manipulation. And snow and white say figaro can manipulate people even without using magic. If anyone can unshackle nero's ungodly attachment to bradley and finally get him divorced, it should be figaro.

That being said, screw every adult here, i care waaay more about how mitile and riquet would react to all of this. Considering figaro (and to an extent bradley) are mitile's emotional support and nero is riquet's emotional support. Figaro and nero especially put a high importance on the kids, and they'd be huge hypocrites to cut deeply into their trust and traumatize them like that.

As much as i love the wholesome relationship they have now i cant wait for nero's real past to get revealed (not that i think faust would react as badly as nero thinks? I personally think he'd be quite chill? He's a curseworker, who's he to judge someone for having been a bandit). Now... nero and bradley trying to assassinate figaro... if anything will create a rift between nerofiga, that's bound to be it. After all this time, faust is letting figaro into his heart again, is once more studying under him, and here comes the man he has a comfortable, heart mending relationship with trying to turn his master with a complicated past to stone.

I dont remember, figaro put bradley in jail *after* the central revolution though, right? Well perhaps it's really his fault he went and did that instead of staying by faust's side. He deserves this death. Hmph. (<-im just being a bitch and a hater, but he's just so easy to be mean to. I do try to sympathize with all characters from my favorite medias even when im being a hater, i hope it's not misinterpreted>.< with him my frustration with the way he is has a side of love and recognition, but his death is near from so many directions, i cant help but wonder which will get him first. Im picturing a spiderweb entangling around figaro built of the different actions he's taken throughout the past 2000 years that have him trapped at death's door now. Hm. Im not sure this visual works the way i want it to in words. He's the spider who built those threads and has managed to get himself tangled by his own hands. Ahh you get it)

Me musing to myself: how to go about this... I think mizuki still feels, personally, like they could be possibly fem enby, or possibly specifically x-gender, considering the momentary resignation when explaining to that well-meaning classmate in anni4 that yes, she does like wearing 'cool' stuff, just particularly likes wearing cute things, and that absolutely rang to me like 'complicated gender Stuff™ for cis people: intro class analogy 'cause i'm not getting into it'. Also i like how using multiple pronouns in English helps nod to the fact that some things are lost in translation, so it'll be a nice touch to acknowledge some of the unique gender identities that spring up in Japan. So when i write fics i will continue to use both they and she for Mizuki as I feel is right and shift according to how i'm writing for that piec-
