To be honest, I don't really know what to think of Anne Sallow. She's not evil but I think the game gives us so little information about her that it leaves us asking a lot of questions. I also wonder what relationship Anne and Ominis had... What I do know, however, is that I hate Solomon Sallow !

My HL/HP headcanons/theories

I’m curious to see what some of you guys think of these. In no particular order:

Anne was cursed sometime between the spring holidays of fourth and fifth year. The game doesn’t make the timeline clear, but it makes sense to me that they would’ve spent all summer trying to find a cure only to find nothing.

Ominis is madly in love with Anne. She definitely trusts him, but it’s unclear if she knows of his feelings during fifth year. He’s had feeling for her since sometime in fourth year, though he was too shy to say anything.

Gaunt Manor will eventually come to be owned by the Riddle Family once a chain of events starts the House of Gaunt’s fall from grace and into poverty.

The “wealthy owner” of the Riddle House in the HP books could be Ominis (or Sebastian if Ominis is no longer alive). Wouldn’t it be one last f-you to his family to own the home that used to belong to them?

I don’t know the origin of this theory but Anne could be Astoria Greengrass’ ancestor, her curse having become a blood curse. Astoria starts exhibiting symptoms in her late teens, around the time when Anne would’ve been cursed.

Twins in the WW universe are connected by a sort of natural blood magic, allowing them to sense one another to some degree.

Noctua, Ominis’ aunt, was a Gaunt by blood and marriage. She married a cousin and died childless.

Ominis has two older brothers, one of whom is Marvolo, and one younger sister. There were more children who didn’t survive.

Mrs. Gaunt, Ominis’ mother, is a rare marriage from outside of the family due to lack of cousins from years of inbreeding.

The cottage in Feldcroft belonged to Solomon, not the twins’ parents. The house their parents died in had a cellar, so I suspect there is/was another house, likely in southern England based on their accents.

Sebastian planned to sacrifice himself for Anne, which is why he went to the catacomb alone.

The relic and/or the spell book were influencing him somehow, which is how he ended up getting a bit sidetracked instead.

Albus Dumbledore can wield ancient magic, but he can’t see it, much like 3/4 of the Keepers.

PART ONE

Phantoms, continued:

David Thaxton - Had this moment in Final Lair where it looked like he’d had a heart attack, and then Christine put her hands over his on his heart and just—🥺 David Arnsperger - Had a wild self-caress right before MOTN where he rocked backward. That's it, that's all I remember. John Cudia - I remember actively not liking his Phantom the first time I saw him, but I changed my mind at his Final Lair because it was so good. Jonathan Roxmouth - Has a slightly nasally tone and a slightly deeper voice than a lot of Phantoms. He did not have good pants. Actually the worst pants I’ve ever seen. Looks like a cinnamon roll, is not afraid to burn you if you’ve wronged him. I also don’t like how his wig looks like thinning hair at the very front. Tim Martin Gleason - Don't ask me why, I just like him okay. James Romick - Really like his voice. Does an excellent sad. Derrick Davis - Fantastic voice. Brought a touch of humanity to that awful restaged show and made it worth watching. Wish we could have seen him in Real POTO. Great ass. Brent Barrett - I remember liking him. Thomas James O’Leary - Good acting, good voice. Jon Robyns - Makes excellent noises during the Final Lair. Good voice. James Gant - Works best with Eva Shanu-Wilson. Okay acting, but nothing else really going on. Occasional good moments. Thomas Borchert - Unfairly pretty, beautiful voice, excellent choices during Final Lair, MOTN was mesmerizing. Bit of a slut. Top ten for sure.

Christines: Lisa Vroman - An "older" Christine. Great chemistry with Franc D'Ambrosio. Initiated a gentle hand-holding during the ring return with him which was an excellent choice that I don’t often see. Made some other excellent choices throughout the show in reacting to what was happening around her. Looks like she could kill you, is a cinnamon roll except when she’s going to kill you. Elizabeth Southard - Another "older" Christine. Love her. The best chemistry with Gary Mauer, her irl husband. Also had great chemistry with Jim Weitzer, who was her Raoul. Very, very good actor. Looks like a cinnamon roll, is a cinnamon roll but only for her husband, otherwise she can and will kill. Luzia Nistler - Love her voice. Austrian. (Like German, but elegant.) Emilie Kouatchou - I wanted to like her. But she has a ton of vibrato and she sounds like a child. I also don't care for her acting. She looked like she was only doing what she was told, rather than reacting to things happening around her. Meghan Picerno - I don't remember anything about her. I saw her live right after the reopening. Celinde Schoenmaker - I've only heard audio of her but I remember liking her. Kanisha Feliciano - Good Wishing. Looks fabulous in the blue dress. I love her wigs more than any other Christine. Hers doesn’t look like a frizzy mess. Lucy St Louis - She played a very sympathetic Christine, and has such a beautiful voice. Lily Kerhoas - fierce. Loved the anger she had in Final Lair. Holly Anne-Hull - too much vibrato Paige Blankson - too much vibrato Kelly Mathieson - She's fierce. Physically jumps in front of the Phantom and throws him off. Excellent voice. 100/10 no notes.

Raouls: Christopher Carl - Didn't get to see much of him owing to the fact that the boots he's in are Phantom-centered highlights. The little I have seen of him has been excellent though. I've heard an audio boot of him as the Phantom and it was excellent. Has a more "American" pronunciation than most Phantoms. ("ay" vs "ah") Ciaran Sheehan - I like him better as Raoul than as the Phantom. He was ready to throw hands. Has a very stilted way of singing that reminds me of the few clips of Colm Wilkinson, but sounds better than Colm. Willing to troll his associates irl. Bronson Norris Murphy - A. Dorable. The best. Looks like a cinnamon roll, is a cinnamon roll. Could probably do a murder if pushed far enough. Have heard audio and now seen a boot and he’s a protective Raoul. Hands down my favourite Raoul. John Riddle - Saw him live right after the reopening. I don't remember anything specific about him. Paul Schaefer - Nice chest. Matt Blaker - meh

Richie Lipschitz

Richie, I don’t have a playlist for, unfortunately. I REALLY want to put in an anime OST but I will refrain. I want to make these song choices as accurate as possible! :)

His song has a high-energy beat, Richie would never go out without some type of beat in the background. This is How I Disappear fits him just,,, so well. I wish he had a better fate rip Richie Lipschitz you would have loved the finale of Attack on Titan.

Anne Lester

Annie… I love this girl so much. She would have loved Barbies. Especially the Barbie Movie. She deserved so much, both in-game and before the game.

The song I chose for her is Escapism from Steven Universe, just because of all the circumstances that she was thrown into.

Kurt Frank

Kurt’s another dude that I just absolutely loved in-game. An explorer who turned out to actually not be one at all. Someone who wanted to fit in so much, he’s definitely one of my blorbos!

Anyways The Mind Electric is the song I’m choosing for him. I imagine this just playing through his whole life from childhood to the asylum to the manor.

So yep! Those are some of my blorbos. Not all, that would be quite a hefty list.

The Valentine's Day event version, running from February 13th - 27th

The Valentine's Day content is stated to include a special plot, special combat activities, and "character personal exclusive interactive plots"; "In addition, when the character's favorability meets certain conditions, special events will be triggered" (unclear if this refers to the points for their Confidant, or some event-exclusive kind of points?)

New Star Trial

A special banner with almost all the female 5-stars will begin, including Haru Okumura, Futaba Sakura, Summer Tomoko, Summer Motoha, Ayaka Sakai, Yuumi Shiina, Makoto Niijima, Minami Miyashita, YUI, Yaoling Li, Haruna Nishimori, and Ann Takamaki, and will last until March 27th

There will also be a rerun Howler banner, only for the duration of this version

They plan to post more information on this version soon (unsurprising, given this is usually around when they start to promote the next version of the game!)

A new Tycoon mode, "Happy Mode", will be added

A new type of Door to Ominous Dreams fight will also be added

Version 3.5 "Dark Light Wandering in Dreams":

The second (and final) part of the P5R collab, running from March 13th - March 27th

Crow is indicated to be an Almighty Control teammate! This is exciting for a number of reasons, but perhaps most obviously, because we don't have any Almighty teammates at the moment, so he'll be the first!

The plot is vaguely described as: "the P5R linkage plot is about to end, what is the purpose of the mysterious thief who suddenly appeared, what kind of secret is hidden behind the strange Palace..."
