You know you have a keeper when she spoils and surprises you with a little stay-cation after her original surprise birthday weekend plans got cancelled due to covid. ❤️ We had fantastic night staying at “The Bunker” and getting away from that locked down feeling! 😊 @twilight_leigh treated me to an evening of comfy cloths, reading, my favourite ciders and wine, a delicious home cooked meal of my favourite pasta, a fantastic apple pie, and then was kind enough to indulge me while I watched Fantastic Mr. Fox for the 400 time! A new variety on the farm this season, thanks @seedkeeping for sharing the seeds with us. Kusa are the Middle Eastern cousin of the Italian zucchini. They’re delicious in many of the same ways. Officially calling this photo set “The Perilous Peak” because the journey to this first shot was unexpectedly set on hard mode due to a beautiful blanket of ice that covered practically everything.
