Anna can't sleep.
This has become a habit since it happened, and became a thing over the summer. Anna hasn't been able to find a way to induce sleep and when she is able to she wakes up in the middle of the night and can't go back to sleep. Maybe it was how it was with everything in Anna's life that has changed since it happened, hearing her parents barely able to mention his name or cry over the loss of their son. His room still looks the same from when they left. Bed tidy and made, Quidditch Posters adoring the walls, his desk covered in various things. Anna can't look nor can anyone in the family force themselves in the room. Probably a layer of dust gathering in the room now.
But now Anna can't sleep.
Over the summer it wasn't too bothersome, neither of her parents noticed either cause they were focused on their own grief, and Anna could go to bed whenever she wanted. Or get out of bed too. Anna was more tired but she didn't think much of it, it wasn't until the new school term started and her new routine began. It became a habit for her to wake up at exactly 3 AM, her roommates all soundlessly asleep - Except for one of the girls snoring - and Anna would lay there trying to lessen her thoughts and let sleep take her. Normally she would do her homework but the scratching of her quill already woke up one of the girls: "Diggory, what the fuck are you doing?"
George took notice how tired his girlfriend was, if the dark circles under her eyes weren't enough. Anytime they had class she would stare off in space and barely be able to keep her eyes open. Whenever George tried to talk to her she seemed to barely be able to hear a word he would say. At first he thought she was overworking herself with the final year, but he started questioning it more when he asked what time she told him when she went to sleep. “Uh… around 9?”
“When did you wake up?”
“Around 3 AM.”
George tried to offer help but Anna declined them, saying she was fine and this would soon pass. George wasn’t sure but didn’t question it any further. He decided it was time for him to help when he walked out to the courtyard and saw his girlfriend there passed out, laying on a bench with a book on her face. He became determined to help her get some sleep.
“George, I need to study.”
“Nope. get some sleep.”
“Weasley, if you don’t give me my quill back, I swear to Merlin-“
George currently held Anna’s quill out of reach, earlier plucking it out of the Hufflepuff’s hand (Anna now had bits of ink on her hands), and Anna was trying to reach for it. Anna kept jumping up to snatch it but George would just hold higher and step back. It was quite a scene with some students making glances to the couple, but neither took notice. And George could tell Anna wasn’t really mad at him either, if anything she was more annoyed with him which he was fine with.
“Get some sleep first, then I’ll return the quill.”
“I’m not even tired.” Anna whines.
“Darling, I saw you asleep in Charms.”
Anna scowled, “I’m just going to wake up anyways.”
An idea came to him. “Come sleep in my dorm.” He grinned at his small girlfriend.
Anna stared at George, stopping her attempts to the point George dropped his hand, but she still didn’t go for the quill. “George, I’m a Hufflepuff.” She gestures to the house crest on her. George rolled his eyes.
“Well, yes, I know.” He shook his head, “I’ll sneak you in, not like anyone will see you anyways right now.”
“What if someone comes in?”
He waved his hand to that idea. “They won’t bother us, it’ll be fine!”
Anna was not sure about it, biting her lip in thought. She didn’t want George to get into trouble or have any punishment, they know what Umbridge used as punishment and not like Anna would ever cause her boyfriend to go through that just cause she needed sleep. But the thought of sleeping in George’s arms sounded like bliss. Maybe they wouldn’t get in trouble? “Are you sure no one is there?”
“Positive!”
“…Okay.”
The grin that grew on George’s face would brighten anyone’s day. He let Anna collect her things and lead her all the way to the Gryffindor entrance. She hasn’t been over here before but she didn’t pay much attention until they stopped at a portrait of a fat woman. She looked down at them and just says: “Password?”
“Alea iacta est.”
She swung open to the empty common room, Anna didn’t get to look to hard as George guided her through the Gryffindor common room to spiral staircase across the room.
He pushed open a door and revealed the boys' dormroom. It wasn’t that different from the girls in Hufflepuff, just the bedding was red. “Here’s mine,” He sat down on one of the many beds that weren’t made and pats the bed for her to join him. They got into position with Anna curled up to George, using his chest as a pillow, she could feel him making shapes with his finger on her back, occasionally just moving up and down or plucking lint off her gray sweater. Anna felt more relaxed but no sleep overcame her, but she kept her eyes closed as she took in this bliss moment.
She didn’t get any sleep like George wanted her to, but for the first time in months she felt rested and content.

In her memoir printed in 1930 in Lektyr, the magazine published in Stockholm by her friend Lars Saxon, she described her technique in several sentences: "I live the part I am playing. I am completely under its spell, so that if anyone tries to speak to me or ask me questions, it wakes me up, so to speak." She followed the advice of both Delsarte and Stanislavski that actors should internalize a role until it becomes part of themselves. Mercedes thought that the characters Garbo played possessed her. The acclaimed directors Rouben Mamoulian and George Cukor agreed. Both said that her acting was intuitive; Mamoulian called it "a divine gift." (Mamoulian directed her in Queen Christina; Cukor in Ninotchka and Two-Faced Woman.)
But she prepared carefully for each role. She read books that provided context. Given her photographic memory, she memorized not only her own lines but also the lines of all the other actors. She practiced movements and gestures to find the ones she wanted to use. The producer Sam Marx saw her walking in the alley behind his office at MGM before filming began on Grand Hotel. She was pacing back and forth, varying her steps in speed and rhythm. Marx realized that she was figuring out how the ballerina she was playing in Grand Hotel should move.
In describing Garbo's acting, director Clarence Brown stressed the brilliance of her eyes. "She had something behind the eyes that you couldn't see until you photographed her in close-up. If she had to look at one person with jealousy, and another with love, she didn't have to change her expression. No other screen actress has been able to do that on film." The number of close-ups given to an actress in her films was considered a measure of her stardom; no other Hollywood actress in Garbo's era reached her total. Critics of Garbo’s acting charged that she was a somnambulist—that she sleepwalked through her films—which was characteristic of actresses in German expressionist films, which often were set in a dream landscape. (Ideal Beauty: The Life and Times of Greta Garbo)

You all need to read Wifedom by Anna Funder, it's a really well written book about George Orwell's wife Eileen and all the ways that biographers and Orwell himself erased her immense contributions to his books, the Spanish Civil War etc. Fiercely feminist book and a really good read about how all the so called male geniuses of the world have gotten there through the work of women and subsequent erasure of their works.
