In case anyone was interested in my opinion, „the Decameron” that just hit Netflix has just a perfect cast main character, Licisca, played by gorgeous Tanya Reynolds who, if anyone needed to hear that, has A PERFECT TRANSLATOR ZEIAT SCENE when she fishes in a pond with her bare hands.

My nightly thoughts:

If I had a nickel for every time 100+ years ago, a woman, who happened to be a distant cousin to another woman, tried to ruin the second woman's life by getting with her husband, an influential (historically ginger) rich "politician", and then have a musical written about this, I'd have 2 nickels. That's not a lot, really, but it's weird that it happened twice.

(What I forgot to mention: the two women then get shipped w/ eachother in their respective fandoms)
